Pret A Manger in Camden

I came with my wife for first time to this branch and we enjoyed the amazing service by the staff I have been served by Natali, thanks alot for making us feel happy

Usually, this place is spot on with service, but on my visit on the afternoon of Jan 28th, things were off. The staff, an Asian woman in her 30s, came across as quite rude. Also, she missed giving me the 20% discount on food and didn't get my drink order right. Was in a hurry, so couldn't address it then. Just wanted to share for anyone visiting.

Good place to study. For some reason when I have Pret membership, they never miss my drink order, but when I’ve ordered without my membership, they’ve forgotten my order (or the system bugged out? idk). Employees are usually very helpful though.

We came here Christmas Day and Boxing Day 2023 as we were visiting a relative in hospital nearby. We were very grateful to find it open - and the staff were so friendly too. Really made a difference. P.s. has high chairs for babies too 🙂

I've always loved Pret and have even recommended it to many of my friends. However, today (25 Dec 23 around 3:40pm) I was deeply disappointed and hurt by the woman barista with a ponytail who served me. I wanted to claim my Pret perk and was about to order a caramel latte. Before I could finish speaking, she abruptly asked me to scan the code. I then mentioned that I also wanted a caramel latte. Instead of politely asking, 'Anything else?' she scolded me rudely, questioning why I didn't order both items together and expressing herself very impolitely. How can you yell so rudely at your customers? I understand that working during the holidays might be frustrating, but it shouldn't be taken out on the customer. I'm sorry, Pret, but you should train this particular barista better :(. I've been to many Pret locations, and most of them have been super friendly. Unfortunately, this branch was exceptionally rude.

2 broken toilets. A no go if you want to have breakfast. How does the stuff does it ?

The Pret team here is consistently efficient and the store seems to be well-staffed. Queue is typically empty and never more than a few minutes at peak times.

Pret is popular across the UK and popular for a reason. The food is fresh, affordable, and delicious. The falafel salad had so many elements and textures with a lovely lemony, herby dressing. The selection of fresh juices and smoothies was very impressive. The apple juice was excellent, naturally sweet with a slight tartness

Rude service on several occasions. Toilets unavailable for customer’s to use so had to resort to recycling coffee cups under the table.

PRETA MANGA! NICE food, ugly lemon cake, melon crunchy and juicy. had nice time excuse me. where is the nearest preta manga such a shame lime bike didnt tell me the location....

Two toilets, both broken. Really? Or you just don’t want customers to use them?

I arrived shortly after 9pm on a Saturday night. Store closing was not until 11pm - nearly two hours. They refused to sell a cold juice drink because they were in the process of cleaning up for the night. They also had to go check if they could take cash (exact change) - presumably they we’re counting out the money. I understand retail hates last minute customers when they are trying to close, but this was almost 2 hours before closing! They had hot or iced coffee. I do not drink coffee! I love my Pret subscription, but this is a breach of contract. They failed to provide the service I paid for.

Really nice place to rest and have a coffee staff. It is really nice and friendly and smiling this is the only pret that is open till 9 which is good and the only pret opens at 05.30 in the morning.

The best Pret of them all. The most helpful and lovely staff and the coffee is always spot on!

Have a bad experience. They told me that flat white is the same as a cafe late. First of all, they have different names 🫠 Second the coffe was cold. And vas 😣 awful that’s a photo of a flat white coffee haahhahahaa

The female staff with Italian accent doesn’t seem to have a good attitude and kind of made me uncomfortable, I mean she could have treated the customer in a more friendly way and talked in a nicer tone if the customer didn’t hear clearly what she said.

I m regular customer of this spot because of my reguler business visit of my Totenham Hale .Staff member on the counter mostly not good welcoming customers.I had recently not really good experince .they need to be trained How to wellcoming the customer first and which is most importantly . I was in there last Sunday and yesterday 2 different female staff members was serving me . they didn't show enough attention How I want my coffe .I realised my resent visit my coffees quality poorer than before .because they dont listen what I requested exactly. I remember manager lady who she was always polite and very good welcoming .I cant see her recently a lot .she might have left .I just make this rewiev to improve the service of quality as regular customer.I like Pret a Manger

Meet with friends regularly here,toilets always out of order,bag snatchers always around. I know it's not Prets fault.

A rather spacious Pret with lots of seating but can often be full, time dependent. The staff, service and coffee have always been good.

Love the coffee and food always go there for a healthy meal.

I love Pret a Manger in general, but this particular store is one of the best. Customer service was top notch 👌 My phone battery was dying and the manager (Simon) agreed to charge my phone using his own personal charger 🥺 What a lovely guy. Thanks again!

It would be a 5 star if they didn’t constantly forget people’s coffee orders and blame it on the customers for their lack of focus on their jobs

I popped in for coffee with a couple of friends who were local and I was bursting to use the toilet which was out of order, I proceeded to ask for access to the disabled toilet which was locked and I was met by the rudest, most pompous staff member ( I did not get his name) I wanted to make a complaint about him but in fear of spit in my coffee, we decided to leave and head to Gail's in the brunswick centre where we were met with better service. We will not be returning for sure.

Now we understand why Pret is everywhere in London, our first try and it's probably the best brunch we have had here. Besides the regular sandwiches, we love their toasted tuna sandwich, and the rest including coffee is quite spot on.

Just waited 20 minutes for simple cappuccino before starting night shift. Again. Staff rude & unhelpful.

Ordered little soup to eat in. The soup itself was ok. Nothing spectacular but ok. My problem was with the spoon, when I asked the lady where I could get utensils she directed me to this counter to get This spoon: (the spoon as you can see was literally flat)

Lovely people, great selection of sandwiches and salads....really fresh healthy food. Good alternative for junk food

I would like to say Thank for outstanding service @ Pret Tottenham Hale tube / train station. To the guy who was working on 7 February at around 2pm. I bought tuna melt and decaf oat latte. I was with a baby and quite in a rush. The salesperson was very professional, quick, and friendly. Unfortunately, I didn’t ask a name but I think this person deserves a big shout out and a raise or minimum good bonus. :) He is doing fantastic job keeping Pret A Manger customers happy, and making people’s day a little nicer every day. Thank You.

Staff seemed chaotic. It was busy, to be fair.

I come here occasionally to catch up with friends. Toilets are never clean. I mean never. Not once. Just like at the third world country. Has Western civilization sank so low? I am leaving two stars only because the store is open till 9.30 evening.

I understand this place is busy however every time I go there the staff always seems to forget my order, I wait about ten minutes (especially since it’s always crowded) before asking if my order is ready before I finally receive it, however at this point everyone who was behind me in the line and new customers have already received their orders. Today after about 15 minutes of waiting I asked if my order was ready and the lady calling out orders calls back “missing chai latte” only to get a response from another employee pointing at the order screen “I don’t see a chai latte”. So after another ten minutes of waiting I still don’t have my order despite the lady who took my order and the lady I asked about my order have seen me standing and waiting for a whole 20 minutes. In the end I leave empty handed absolutely devastated by the rudeness and lack of empathy these employees have. This happens way too often and I can’t help but feel a little targeted/ discriminated against since this often happens even when it isn’t busy.

From a couple bad experiences, in this particular Pret, I think the fact that almost all of their customers have the Pret subscription meaning we’ll ‘come back anyways’ means that they don’t treat their customers with 100%. The coffee is great tho

According to the website, it's open till 9.30pm, went in at 9pm, and the female staff refused to serve, saying it closes at 9. Another staff member checked the time and served us. Female staff was very rude.

I just observed when Junkies came in the shop to rub a banana. 😞😞😞

I understand it is a busy store but every single time, staff is just such a bored of this what they do, i had to ask multiple times for just a napkin and I do not like rise my voice….

Ridiculous. I’ve never written a negative review before but this place staff is just awful. Food and drinks are of fine standard but Never met staff so genuinely rude and bad at their jobs. I also work a similar job so I know it can be difficult but wow they are so insolent. don’t recommend.

Rude staff long wait for coffees when you ask someone how much longer or for help they just ignore and be rude

Unprofessional and unpleasant experience! Unwelcoming staff, cashiers do not get the right order, receipts are not shared with customers! Unorganized, the cashier and others preparing the orders are working randomly and independently. You have to wait till your order is shouted by the worker then you get it.

Order is not well organised. Take my order wrongly and i needed to wait for more than 20 mins for my coffee. Staff are rude. Worst thing is quality of coffee is really really poor.

Pret as a brand is good but the staff at this store are unfriendly, sometimes borderline rude and has quirks of not being willing to do things considered norm in other Pret stores.

Had a very bad experience with a rude and ignorant staff member. Said his name was arcadius and supposedly the manager . One of the worst customer services experience I’ve ever had in prets Bernard street and arcadias is utterly useless and shouldn’t be working in this industry .

Super busy branch opposite the station. Big. Lot of seating area. Staff are pleasant. Service is good despite how busy they are. Coffee was good. I got one of the high seat stools by the window communal table. Nice to do some work and watch the world go by. Reasonably clean. Good product range. Wifi is slow!

I used to go this pret quite often because I liked how big it is and the food selection is good. However I stopped going beacause the toilet is ALWAYS out of order and has been so for the past 3 months!! It is a disgrace that a place like this doesn't offer any toilet facilities which is a prime customer right. Please fix your toilets.

A very peaceful and friendly spot in the early morning (around 6am), which transforms into a very hectic and busy place in the afternoon, which leads to not-very-tidy tables (if you’re lucky to find one)and long queues. The staff are trying their best though

I always thought Pret pays so much attention to their staff being polite and helpful. This branch however is a living proof of the contrary. Staff members are miserable and rude for no particular reason - are you guys working there for free? As a punishment? Or is customer service your job? Poor.

Best local Pret for a Falafel & Halloumi Hot Wrap.

Standing in the line for 10 mins and then they asked me to leave and stand in another line for another 10 mins to take order

There are so many seats, that is a bid shop and they do not have toilet or any where to wash your hands before you eat or leave the shop for the last four weeks, that is crazy

Manager Aga refused me to use the disabled toilet. Wanted me to show her proof of my disability in front of the security guard. Felt humiliated in font of a another person. My disability is not visible. I have a broken leg and other issues when using the toilets. I felt you she will only allow anyone who is on a wheelchair and any other person with other disabilities which is not visible wont be allowed to use it. I visit this store every day 2 to 3 times.

The lady asked us twice what drinks we wanted, and i picked my tea up the lid popped off and spilt hot tea on my hand my partner said to the staff the lid wasn't put on properly and we got totally ignored, the toilet wasn't even working, sandwich was okay, think we will take our custom somewhere else next time, wasnt that clean either.

the most inefficient branch ever. i understand it gets busy but there are 3-4 of them just talking and serving one customer at a time. just a waste of time. over that they are rude to customers and shouts at them. it's insane

Today (10th July, 2022) afternoon, when I bought a chicken salad wrap today, one staff, who is a big black young lady wearing a kerchief, asked me pay 4.8 pounds. But it's price is 3.99 pounds. I asked her reason. She told me if I take away, I should pay more money. But, I always buy wrap from pret, and I never pay extre money for taking away. Even, I cannot accept her reason, I still pay it. But I think I won't come this store and buy anything one more time, unless I can get a reasonable explanation.

I waited 20 minutes for my coffee but didn't receive it in the end - about 10 customers were served after me and they kept saying it was being made but it didnt seem so. Had to leave because I was late. Overall - poor customer service.

I like Pret but this is the worst one I have been in. Rude service, cappuccino not great and more importantly every table was very very wobbly! Not great for trying to balance coffee. A bit dirty too. Unloved.

It is not perfect coffee shop but you can use your laptop inside and they have subscription right now £25 per month

First time I've been in this Pret and I'll be back! Libby, wonderful lady who served me made my day! Treated customers like Pret family, you not only get a bite to eat but leave feeling great! Made my day!!! Love Libby! Especially after a long day, she was amazing and makes customers smile. We need more like her! 💝 I'll be back at the branch and at Pret tha KS to her! Okay place, with friendly and quick enough staff; a portion of it seems a bit empty, so it might benefit from redistributing room so to decouple a few tables, but nothing major.

Although it was crazy busy i was treated and served amazingly by the staff. The Manager in the floor was perfectly organising the queues. I will be back.

Really busy pret but the staff are always very composed. Only a few times had my order been missed but otherwise they’re very friendly and professional.

I highly rate Pret’s coffe however this branch seems to have serious issue when making flat white coffe. Have ordered twice and have been served basically hot water. I like my coffe to be more foamy, more like Pret’s standard. I strongly believe the management should look into it and perhaps re-evaluate their barista’s training.

Staff are very nice and have mostly good customer service skills. Decent amount of seating but the toilets need urgent attention, I didn’t even feel completely safe when I was washing my hands. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Please sort the toilets out.

I only came by on a free Friday evening to get a hot drink and do some work on my laptop. Started to open late again which is useful after the pandemic. Nice to see more 'normality'. Busy. Big branch with a lot of seating. Selection of food was not that much early evening. I just had a cup of tea which was fine. Not cheap I can tell you that! Wifi was quite good. Nice atmosphere and cool light music. Staff were pleasant and service was good. They were very surprisingly making a proper effort to keep the place clean which they never do!
