This is by far my favourite Indian restaurant in West London. Friendly staff and attentive owners make sure every visit goes smoothly. It is big enough to feel lively but small enough to feel at home I highly recommend the bhindi, onion bhaji, lamb shank rogan josh, and Kerala fish curry. All are sure winners...

One of the best in London. The food was delicious and the staff are so so friendly and helpful. They explained the menu so well and recommended some great dishes.

The food at this place is spectacular, and it also offers typical dishes from different parts of India. The staff's attention is unbeatable, very attentive. They explained and advised us on the different dishes, how they are prepared, and where they come from. Ashish, the general manager, personally attended to us and explained many interesting topics about Indian gastronomy. Without a doubt, I recommend it; I haven't found a restaurant in all of London that pays such attention to detail.

Love Potli - amazing food, above and beyond the classics with delicious and impeccably-cooked tandoori, starters and main dishes, great range of vegetarian options and rice and naan. This is the place we take friends who miss good Indian food, whether from out of town or overseas, and they are always blown away. A pleasure to eat at the restaurant, with impeccable service and cheerful setting, comfortable with nice details of bright silks and vintage adverts. Ordering in advance from the website and collecting, or for delivery, also managed super efficiently and with charm always. How lucky we are to live close by - but definitely worth a journey too.

We went for dinner on Friday at around 18:30 Hrs. The atmosphere was amazing. The staff was amazing and very polite which was the best thing we liked. Started with drinks and later ordered a great cocktail. The bar was managed by Rajiv and "GOA Hi" was the best I had in my life. They had some great choices. Badami Masala Lamb Chop, masala tawa fish, and Odia Prawn curry were delicious 5/5. I recommend it to everyone as one of the best in taste, hospitality, ambiance, and value for money. Ashish is an amazing manager and takes care of you without asking. Will visit again and again

This place has become my go-to when I crave Indian it's just so authentic and the service is always amazing the staff is very kind. Updating this review now because recently we had our baby shower and we decided to get catering from here and I cannot recommend this place enough! The entire process was a pleasant experience. Right from the point of ordering to the actual day of catering was seamless. They help me plan the menu, accommodate all my needs for the party and when actually the food arrived it was packaged so well. I was worried it might be a bit flimsy and stuff but it was such good quality strong containers which makes a big difference and then the food itself was just DELICIOUS! They also included the Indian desert speciality malpua specifically for our catering order.😍 The portion sizes were so generous that we ended up taking a lot back home and going to be enjoying that food for a few more days to come. 😋

Such a wonderful evening at Potli. I highly recommend a visit. We were celebrating my partners birthday with a big group of friends, and it could not have been better. The team were so responsive and helpful before the event. On the day itself they were amazing, kind and attentive. The food was stunning: so delicious, interesting and plentiful. Mouthwatering. Potli is wonderful. We had the best evening celebrating my partners birthday. The food is utterly delicious - every dish was fantastic. Top marks to the chef. The service is warm, friendly and attentive, and it’s a lovely environment. Can’t wait to go back.

Ate here last night with my dad, and we were both so impressed. We arrived close to opening time but it didn’t take long to fill up. The service was impeccable, attentive but relaxed, and our server advised us when ordering to lead us to an amazing pairing of curry. The railway goat dish (could be getting the name wrong!) and the coconut lamb. SO good. Paired with a couple of Naans and a side of rice, hands down the tastiest curry I’ve had in years and not to mention the authentic, interesting decor they had. I will definitely be returning, probably quite soon!

We always order food from here, if craving authentic indian food. Their special potli paneer curry is the best and can eat any day . The quality of naan / bread is exceptional. The service is quick too!

5 stars for food AND service. Thank God the reviews didn’t lie in this case. We had the starters, chicken trio - scrumptious. Then we had one of their king prawn curries (prawns perfectly cooked and tender btw), with their special dhal dish, sag paneer, excellent garlic nan and rice. All recommended by our helpful server. Again sometimes recommendations can be disappointing but in this case he went above and beyond. Suggesting which sauces worked well, what size dishes and what complemented our choices. Will definitely come again. It was a busy and packed restaurant but felt really welcoming. We will be back!

I had been craving for some authentic Indian food especially Odia food since I'm from the state of Odisha. Had seen a review on Youtube saying this place had the authenticity. I ordered rice and mutton curry the two times I visited this place during my stay in London and the calm that ran through my nerves after finally eating such authentic food, I can't express. I'd recommend Indians to surely go there if you're missing home cooked food. The ambience is amazing even if the restaurant isn't that big, but the decorations, warm staff, music and care just makes up for it. Wasn't disappointed at all.

We hosted the 50th Wedding Anniversary of our parents at Potli in November. It was a private setting for around 30 guests in the basement of the restaurant. Uttam and his team ensured that the quality of food and service was top-notch. In addition, the level of flexibility that was displayed to provide each guest what they needed so that they went back happy was unparalleled. I must say that this is a great restaurant for Indian food in London and a must try for locals as well as global trotters.

Arguably one of the best Indian restaurants in London nurtured and run over a decade by Uttam Tripathy. The food is fabulous, made just perfect with fresh ingredients and customized to one's taste. Try from the veritable list of chaats and Indian Street foods. The veg & non-veg options are a plenty & the taste is beautifully nuanced. If you are in London, you shouldn't miss this place.

I LOVE this place. I’ve been a few times now and it never disappoints. The service is warming, friendly and impeccably professional each time. The food is packed with so much flavour and is, in my opinion, some of the best Indian food in London. Naan bread is without a doubt the best I’ve ever had. Pricing is also extremely reasonable, they have a lunchtime set menu which is great. We bring everyone who comes to visit us in London here and you should too.

Potli provided fantastic catering for 80 guests for my 60th birthday party in our local community hall. They were brilliant to work with from start to finish, wonderful service and food, nothing was too much trouble for them including setting up the tables, serving drinks, working in a tiny kitchen off-site. All my family and friends loved the incredible spread of finger food and buffet main courses. Thank you Potli!

Liked the ambience, decorations and music. Service was prompt. Also liked the revolving table tops. The food tastes good. Very authentic Indian cuisine, not a watered down version of the originals but the real deal. Tried various dishes- starters, main course, dessert. All the dishes were fine and portions were good for all items except panipuri. But it is rather expensive. For some, it might not seem adequate value for money. But if it suits your budget, then it's a good restaurant to visit.

We are big fans of Indian food, and when we moved to Chiswick we were excited by all of the Indian restaurant options. But it didn't take us long to find this gem thank goodness! Our group of four had a truly amazing dinner - from great starters to our delicious main dishes that ranged the spectrum of spices and "heat". The staff were very accommodating about explaining the menu and also about adjusting spice levels if that is what the person wanted. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The most phenomenal Dal Markani available outside of India and the loveliest staff.

Absolutely fantastic, Michelin recommended and it shows in quality and service. We had the boar vindaloo and railway mutton curry and both were fantastic. That said the mutton wasn't actually mutton but rather lamb chunks. Still delicious. I can't say enough how good the service is, staff is quick and professional while still seeming at ease and friendly. Definitely would recommend to a friend.

The servers were incredibly attentive and the food was out of this world!! Would highly recommend the samosas and the Railway Mutton Curry! The spice levels were absolutely perfect.

Authentic Indian cuisine at Hammersmith. It was pretty close to our hotel and located on the main road. Spices used were appropriate. Above all the service was fantastic! The prices were reasonable.

I can't understand why this has only a 4.5. Hands down the best curry for miles; genuine, light and fragrant. We had the rogan josh lamb shank, korma and Jhalfrezi - the latter being exceptional. Old school chutney wheel, absolutely clockwork and superb service. Can't speak too highly of this place!

The food was so delicious, fresh, portions just right and quick and lovely service. Space outside allowed us to enjoy nice summer evening. We will definitely come back!

Went on a vacation to London for 4 days and the food was so good in Potli that we came twice. The service is amazing and they're all so nice. Ambience is also extraordinary. Everyone's enjoying and having fun while you can hear praise from other people too.

Amazing food, wonderful staff and authentic flavours. Tikka chicken starter delicious, as was Marsala chicken main. The paan ice cream with betel nut and rose petal was brilliant too. So glad we’ve discovered this place as it’s quite different from the standard Indian fare.

Had heard how Potli is 'different' in offering tasty and well-prepared street-derived Indian food. Took my young grandson, who's already into Indian food. We had excellent - meaning very friendly and understanding - service and perfectly cooked and served dishes, both meat and veggie. Indian Muzak was a little intrusive but it didnt detract from the lunch.

We live in the neighbourhood and this is a constant staple for myself and my husband whether it's a casual lunch or dinner. The food is excellent and the service very good. Very consistent every single visit. We have never had a bad meal here. We also invited our friends over for dinner and everyone was impressed. What's great is that the prices are reasonable for the type of quality of food you get. Great experience always and wonderful atmostphere. So pleased it's so near us!

Loved the food. Authentic and flavoursome dishes. I make a lot of Indian food at home, so don't normally go to Indian restaurants as they always disappoint me. My mother in law is also very hard to please and even she loved the food. Dishes to call out that we had are Kurkure Bhindi, vegetable cutlets, chicken tikka trio, lamb roganjosh and the biriyani. My absolute favorite and out of this world was the paan ice cream. Service was also amazing

Having struggled to find a decent Indian Restaurant in Chiswick, we cast our net further a field, and found Potli, what a find it was.We have now returned to dine at this restaurant a further three times, and booked in for a further two times including New Years Eve, not bad considering we travel from Nottingham!On our first visit we was guided by the wonderful Waiter having explained what we both like, each course was faultless.Starter 1 x Bombay Chilli Chicken, this was by far the most succulent chicken starter I've had with a kick.Mains1 x Odia Prawn Curry, I had this as it comes and the flavours were amazing1 x Chicken Jhalfrezi extra spicy, this one was for the Wife who remarked you definitely do not have to have it extra spicy, its hot enough, and the chicken again is succulent.To accompany the mains we had 1 x Pilau Rice and 1 x Garlic & Coriander Naan.On our second visit we both had starters and shared a main along with a Rice and Naan, this suited us and we felt there was sufficient food to leave us comfortably full, the food and service was once again 10/10.Congratulations to all the front of house, chef and team working in the kitchen.We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 30th October and again on New Year's Eve.Badhaee ho

We visited for an early Saturday dinner. Our order included the chicken tikka trio, lamb chops, railway mutton curry, chicken makhani, black dhal and some naans and rice. The food was generally very good. The mutton curry was a favourite. We also tried the choc mousse and pistachio kulfi for dessert.Service was very quick most of the time, but extremely slow between our starter and main course. I’m pretty sure they forgot about our mains until we queried it. The bill for our family of 4 came to £124, of which £35 was spent on drinks. An enjoyable dinner overall, not worth travelling across town for, but a good option if you live locally.

hammersmith - we had a really poor experience, the food was not good and we were expecting a much higher standard, the drinks were so expensive and they double charged us for what was the poorest selection of chutneys and poppadoms. I would not recommend it, I was extremely disappointed. We were with friends and they turned the lights off at 10pm saying that they had a technical issue but it was obvious that they wanted to close. Very expensive for a very poor experience.

I have never eaten here but only got tandoori takeaways, they are so good I reckon you could order the tandoori for a supper party. We frequently order extra just for midweeek reheated suppers, it’s that good. I give a three star rating for service as I have only ever had delivery which is fine but can not comment on in house dining.

I enjoyed dining at Polti. Being a vegetarian i thoroughly enjoyed the paneer shashlik, the quality was very authentically Indian. I also enjoyed the portion of the food and believe it it great value of money. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and I enjoyed great table service, this came particularly from Roobal.

Another excellent meal from this ever reliable local. Chicken jalfrezi a particular favourite . Beautifully cooked and everything just a notch above many other Indian restaurants and possible to pre book and collect which is very welcome during Covid restricted period . We shall be back for more

The food was very tasty. We only had a main each with rice and naan bread and a dessert to share, but it was enough as portions are quite big. The naan bread was absolutely amazing and we ordered it twice for pure greediness. The service was very friendly but what really impressed me is how attentive they were to hygiene and the measures they took. Staff was wearing mask and gloves, disinfecting the tables after clients have left and keeping the distance. I was a bit stressed to go out to the restaurant given the current situation but the whole experience was very relaxing. Well done! I will definitely go back and wish them the best!

Posiblemente debido a la modesta fachada y la selección de excelentes restaurantes locales que pasé por aquí y solo vine para llevar durante la relajación del cierre. Desde entonces, mi hijo George y yo hemos estado dos o tres veces y hemos experimentado con una variedad de platos. Esta semana fuimos totalmente vegetarianos y no nos decepcionó. Incluso los chutneys caseros hicieron que los poppodums habituales con una pinta de Kingfisher fueran una experiencia única y llena de sabor. es la frescura general y la atención al detalle lo que distingue a Potli de la multitud, sin mencionar algunos elementos del menú que están lejos de ser habituales.
