Arrived at the pub about 2000 on a Thursday night on the off chance the kitchen might be open. Mark the landlord really went the extra mile cooking two excellent Steak dinners himself, was very friendly and entertaining and so reasonably priced. Food was very good quality as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone who happens to be in this area.

Have got to say the Sunday lunch was amazing today. Extremely tasty and very good value for money. Well done Mark and co. 😀😃😀😃😀

Really enjoyed our Family visit here on a late Saturday afternoon part of the Pub has a Mexican themed Restaurant which I was a bit apprehensive about but we were pleasantly surprised freshly cooked Mexican cuisine that as a Family of 4 had on the menu something for us all top marks will be going again soon really friendly staff and reasonably priced

Came here last night for a Christmas party. Good company, good food, good wine! We had a main meal and a pudding. The main meal was extremely tasty, and served in an interesting way. There was a pot of gravy in the middle and bits of food on cocktail sticks around it - potatoes, chicken, pigs in blanket, balls of stuffing, parsnips etc. The idea was that you dipped the food into the gravy. There were knives and forks available too if you needed them though. I did need them from time to time, especially when a bit of my stuffing ball fell off into the gravy - I couldn’t get it out with the cocktail stick. For pudding, I chose a white chocolate and raspberry roulade. It was delicious, and just the right sized portion after a filling main meal - not too much. There was also a choice of 2 other puddings - trifle cheesecake and a chocolate pudding. I’d definitely come back here again.
