Pop-In Chicken in Plymouth

ordered 8 pieces chicken bucket it used to be with big box of chips, today i received small portion of chips for like one person.For £25 it should be a big box of Chips.Dissapointed really

Must have changed management. Chips were a tiny portion, wings were overcooked and dry. Go to KFC next time.

Portions def smaller chicken pieces and chips which was massively disappointing and would affect my choosing the order from there in future. I initially was told I had a 30% off from Just Eat but that wasnt true and time I built my order taking that into consideration added more... checked and it wasnt discounted but still went ahead with order... we all try to save money but if you are going to do that you should state first so we can expect it.. Food that arrived was of usual tasty quality though. I cant fault the delivery its always early which is great and foods hot... Thanks guys.

More expensive then kfc 😄 you go to other chicken places to beat the prices used to be reasonable but they have gone greedy

Food box lots smaller than normal coleslaw was made with salad cream not very nice at all. Have used point chicken lots was very disappointing

I didn't get what I ordered. 4 pieces pop in chicken meal, bbq beans, pepsi, banoffee pie. I got chicken meal, coleslaw, mozzarella sticks (alergy to cheese) tennessee toffee pie!

Absolutely awful food. If it can be called such a thing. Ordered online (which was on time, the only positive I can mention) and the food was not only freezing cold but also undercooked. I ordered the boneless box, which was a tenner and some onion rings. The chicken burger was one small strip, some nasty lettuce and a rubbery bun. The two strips were dry as hell and very hard to eat. The popcorn chicken was about 8 pieces, neither of which actually tasted nice. Finally, the chips were cold and not cooked properly either. I didn't eat hardly any of it and threw what was left in the bin. While I hate wasting food, I would not have even given this to a starving person. I feel as if the bin didn't deserve punishment by putting the excess in it. Now I've ordered a few times from here and it's never been spectacular, but this time was definitely the last. You could easily save yourself a LOT of money, time and effort by nipping to a shop, grabbing some chicken and cooking some up in the oven. Even as fast food, it was worse than McDonald's and that's saying something.

chips limp and soggy a very small chicken strip burger dry flavourless and cold because of the amount of time it took. chicken wings tough decent flavour but not crispy at all chewy. bbq beans can only describe as heinze baked beans with bbq squirted in I could have made it in 2 mins maybe if I lived a little closer it may have been better but I have ordered from further away and they have go the food to me in far less time and a far higher quality I won't be ordering again sorry

There was a bone in the food not happy

First time buying for a while and last time. Had ribs very hard and dry Chicken strips.hard either cheap chicken or cooked for a while Coleslaw watery all above went in the bin.

Waited for over an hour and everything was over cooked, very dry. Disappointed because other times if has been great.

Lovely food, delivery driver is a dissapointment to you, if he hammers on my door like that again I will hammer on his face, he woke my poorly baby

Food was early, but when it arrived, you could tell it had been left or already been ready for another order. The chicken was pink with blood, and the chicken burger was hard and pink. The best bit was the chips

Food was well presented and really nice coating on the chicken and hot. Chips were crispy and fresh. Very happy.

Chicken wrap is way too salty. The chicken pieces were good.

Food was okay but there was no drink with my food an it was 20 mins earlier than it said for the earliest time

No update on app showing food was close and no call or ring at door. I live on a 2nd floor so can't hear the door and the food was left for an hour before the app updated saying food was delivered. Once collected the fries and burgers were soggy and everything was cold.

I normally have chicken pieces But this time, I thought I would go for the wrap. Big mistake who ever made it needs teaching how to do it much better. The presentation was shocking. The size of the chicken strips in the wrap was ridiculous to point couldn't even bite into

Food arrived on time and hot. The chips were really nice but the chicken was a let down. Chicken was dry, especially the hot wings. Hot wings had no flavour to them - they were not spicy at all, just plain chicken. It was okay but wouldn’t order from here again.

The food has been great before, but this evening it was like the chips were reheated, and the burger was very oily. Not only that we asked for dessert and we never got them.

I started using these guys as they were better than KFC, but tonight’s was barely edible. Chicken was dry, the hot wings weren’t hot in the slightest and the chips were soggy. To add insult to injury I bought a desert which didn’t turn up. Very disappointed won’t use again.

Only ordered from here because of the reviews. I’ve ordered from here twice this week and found that the food was dreadful. I Should of learnt from the 1st time, 2nd time I had the spicy chicken meal. The chicken was over cooked and hard, and tasted of the oil/fat. The dog had it. I won’t be eating from here again. Sorry..

The food was lovely as normal but you didn't put in the 1.5 ltr bottle and gave us a can to share between four of us.

We bought a 6 piece family deal tonight with 2 free pots of Chicken Gravy and bottle of Pepsi max. It was absolutely delicious. We will definitely buy from poppin chicken again. Super fast delivery food lovely and hot and great customer service. I will definitely reccomend this takeaway to other people.

The food was hot but I didn’t like it at all

Always been a fan of poppin chicken but unfortunately won't be ordering again. Chicken in the fillet burgers was tiny and the pots of gravy and coleslaw have shrunk. Disappointing as I have always recommended it to others.
