Pizzaworks in Belfast

Hi just needed to leave this review ordered a pizza from pizza works fortwilliam tonight with a barbecue base and they made a mistake and made it with tomato base so when the delivery guy turned up he had brought both pizzas at no extra charge were anywhere else would of thrown it out we order from here nearly every week and have to say they are the absolute best and the staff from the girl answering the phone to take your order to the delivery guy are amazing superb value for money and always piping hot when you get it definitely recommend any one who hasn’t had a pizza from here to try them A star pizza and service Ps try the chicken goujons chickens there absolutely amazing

I had THE WORKS pizza which is for the meat lover and potato wedges.The pizza was delicious...well cooked the wedges could have been cooked more but I should have asked maybe.even the garlic dip was nice.i have a top 5 pizza pizza places in town and this place is amongst it.would recommend it...😎

Absolutely zero Service or Common sense. I walked to give an order to pay directly perfectly prepared to return 1 to 2 hours later to collect my order.was told to phone or order online while the guy was 4 metres looking straight at me.On a point of principle This is Absolute Lunacy of a business. New to the area I suspect I would have spent £25 per week in this establishment BUT NOW ..on principle BUSINESS LIKE THIS DOES NOT DESERVE SUPPORT FOR SHEER LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE OR COMMON SENSE.

Pizza arrived over 1:45 minutes after ordering. We weren’t told how long it would take for delivery so found that shocking, but later discovered that it’s the typical Saturday wait time from Pizzaworks. We tried both the Brooklyn and the Roberta. I liked the Roberta, but the Brooklyn did not live up to the hype. They were both decent, but we’ve had better. This was certainly not the best pizza in Belfast and definitely not worth that wait! Giving 3 stars. Would have give 4 for the Roberta, but not after waiting almost 2 hours.

This is a nice pizza joint with the option to sit in. The kidslike it and it has the optio of BYO. I do think it can be a bit pricey compared to some others but I would still recommend giving it a go.

A pleasant and very competent staff produce possibly the best pizzas in Belfast in this very small pizza joint. Mostly for collection but delivers if in a 1.5 mile radius.

Ordered a takeaway pizza from here for a change. It seemed a little burnt but was still edible. I've heard good things about the place but probably won't be back and will just stick my usual.

Appalling slow. Placed an order by ‘phone. Told it would be 20 mins for pick up. Deliberately delayed going and still had to wait 1/2h when Ingot there

Had rang to book a table for 7.30 for 4 people, was then told it was going to be takeaway only at that point. Fair enough. So ventured to the restaurant then at 9pm, to see multiple tables occupied and multiple free tables? Confused? So still ordered a takeaway meal as I was previously told it would only be supplying takeaway food at that time, but I then approached a member of staff to question as to why I was told a few hours previous to my visit that at that specific time the restaurant would be takeaway only. Did I get a resolution, let's read on. So when I confronted said member of staff as to why I was told this, his confused face spoke a thousand words, and I got the reply " they booked in advance". To then I had explained that 4 hours previous to this I had tried to book in and was told it would only be serving takeaway, then pointed out the number of spare tables there were and why we weren't offered to even come in at a later time. He said "we would never turn away business" and my reply to that was "that is exactly what you have done though, if I had been offered the chance to sit in you'd have had at least £20 spent more on food". Back and fourth this went for a number of minutes, and I was getting nowhere. Second experience with this restaurant, and second horrendous experience. Will I be back? Pigs will sooner fly.

Belfast’s best pizza, sounds unusual but is amazing. Bring back the barking version please. Be prepared to wait for home delivery as this place is so popular.

We love pizza works both as a sit in and takeaway. Pizzas are authentic and there is also an interesting special to choose from. My favourite though would be the Roquito....on a chilli base of course. Great value for money and top quality Pizzas!! Best in Belfast!

Great choice of pizzas here - the staff are really friendly and the new decor is fantastic - well done folks keep up the good work.

Got a family meal deal to take away which included pizza, garlic bread and chips. Each and every thing tasted so fresh and flavoursome. It was ready very quickly despite being crazy busy on a Saturday evening. I will be back!

My word. This pizza was amazing. We went here on the first night and I couldn’t stop thinking about it for the rest of the trip! We had a jug of juice to save money, cheesy dough balls and a Brooklyn pizza each. They were very large so they gave us a pizza box to take the rest home with us. The restaurants atmosphere is sweet, as if you were dining in someone’s home!

I have ordered from this restaurant for many years at least once a week, but recently the standard of service has drastically decreased.

Nice pizza yummy salad and friendly staff. Pizza cooked fresh :) Better value than pizzahut. Will be back next time I am here.

Excellent value, delicious food. friendly staff and as you can bring your own drink and no corkage charge it makes for a cheap night out

Haven't been in for a sit down meal in a while but from times previous its been great, just posting a review while I wait on my boyfriend who is taking his sweet time to get here before I order, one of the best pizza places in Belfast, for def the best takeaway, pure love it, the divine majesty of your pizza knows no bounds.

Simply cannot get much better than this. Delicious pizza made by professionals who take what they do seriously. The staff are extremely helpful and polite also. Highly recommend the Brooklyn pizza!

I recommend the Pizzas and potato wedges, especially the Brooklyn base- well deserving of the "best pizza in Belfast" title and worth the few quid extra. Both restaurant and delivery staff are friendly and overall good service.also a good option for sitting in , especially if your on a budget.it has BYO and a good off licence next door as well as near by Chester bar and landsdowne hotel if you want to stop somewhere for a drink after,or 5 mins away from city centre.Good value for money and good quality fresh food.

I can honestly say this is the best pizza place I have ever been to and tasted. I live not far from here and would order a pizza works at least once a month, family enjoy it, also eating in is nice as its byo which is a plus

Nice pizza but a big hit and miss.. Thought at first the staff were lovely and approachable until I went with my daughter and used the bathroom. The bathroom was enough to put me off. Spoke to the staff re this issue .. Went back again to have been told we r barred!!! Disgusted. #supportlocalbusiness. I'd rather not ..

Never disappointed with the food. Pizza is delicious and always hot. When I eat one size I always feel I could have eaten a bigger size :) prices j have gone up but is still fair and it's BYO. What joy.

Always my go to place for a good pizza to sit in or takeaway! Reasonably priced and their wholemeal bases are heaven! Highly recommend especially on a Wednesday night when it's buy one get one free!

Had a 30th birthday party at home for my wife and ordered 10 pizzas for our guests, mixture of all flavours that were on offer and every single pizza was cooked to perfection and delivered at the exact time that we wanted. Not a single bit of pizza was left over with everyone saying nothing but great things. As always tasty food and very happy customers!

Fabulous local pizzeria. Wednesday night is buy one get one free for collection or take out. The pizzas are delicious and a firm favourite with the young men in this house. Lovely.

As PizzaWorks recently won the 2015 Yelp competition for 'Best Pizza in Belfast' I was looking forward to trying them. Queue the perfect excuse for a gossip, wine and pizza catch up night with friends! On perusing the menu I was happy to see five clearly marked vegetarian pizza options and a large range of veggie sides - always a plus in my book. Of course you could also make up your own pizza from whichever toppings you wish.We ordered by phone on a busy Saturday evening and Pizza Works advised our food would be delivered in about an hour, however it arrived much sooner. My pizza choice 'The Veggie' consisted of goat's cheese, red onion, sweetcorn, roast peppers and basil oil and was beautiful. My friends too enjoyed their pizzas immensely. For my taste, our side of garlic doughballs with cheese and chilli was far too hot, however the others devoured these without any problem - all just a matter of personal taste.I noticed from PizzaWorks menu that they also offer wholemeal dough which is good and would make a nice change from the norm. Prices are reasonable as well, with three 12 inch pizzas, three sauces, a large side of doughballs and delivery costing us approximately £35. The one drawback being that PizzaWorks only deliver within a one and half mile radius, which unfortunately my home falls outside. I might just have to talk my North Belfast based friends into having more pizza and wine nights! Can only speak highly of PizzaWorks - first class on all counts!

The pizza is delicious. We had two types half and half and they were both very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Was here on Saturday night 7/11/15. Greeted with a smile. Pizzas were delicious. Our starter, the garlic bread with chilli sauce was a bit spicy for me, I would have preferred sweet chilli sauce because I can't handle hot food but still great otherwise!

We order out of here any time we get pizza and it is absolutelt fantastic. Te pizza is the least greasy I have ever had! The garlic bread, chips etc are fab too and the staff are all lovely. Highly recommended!!

I honestly can't understand how pizzaworks has got so many positive reviews. Whilst the pizzas taste ok, they are way over priced for the size and quality of pizza. The staff are friendly enough and although there are tables to allow customers to sit in, it is basically a takeway.

We recently sat in here as a family of 6 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the delicious food that was on offer. The staff were really helpful and Friendly and we will certainly be returning.

What a hidden gem in Belfast, I went here after a visit to the Belfast Castle as I'd heard the pizza was the best in Belfast - have to agree. Fresh ingredients cooked in an open kitchen and really friendly staff. Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced - great value for money, we will be back.

The most friendly, welcoming pizza place I have ever been in. Staff are great, food is amazing, have been countless times and never been disappointed. Visited with my friends and family, everyone agrees!! My kids won't eat pizza from anywhere else. Cannot recommend highly enough! The sharing platter just delicious. Gorgeous pizzas which my teens love. Friendly staff, and lovely to have an independent pizza shop instead of one of the chains.

Pizza was just ok. It didn't come out looking like the ones online. Toppings where generous but the pepperoni wasn't cooked for long enough. The restaurant itself seemed very cosy and has a lot of potential.

This is our second time to visit pizzaworks and the experience was still very good. The pizza was crispy and the taste of homemade was good. The service was friendly as well. I would consider pizzaworks is one of my favourite restaurants in Belfast. Had a reasonable pepperoni pizza (12 inch) at Pizzaworks. The restaurant is a quaint wee one. It is a takeaway cum restaurant cum delivery place. Love the traditional spotty table clothes and especially the half cut church pews. The pizza itself came out quickly and was tasty, bit short of topping. It was served on wooden pizza "spoon" and there was Tabasco, dry chilli flakes and a pot of cutlery and napkins. It's s BYO place so come prepared.

Ordered pizzas to be picked up from restaurant. The pizzas tasted alright but the amount of toppings added was very very poor, literately the smallest most miserable amount! And at nearly £12 a pop for the pizza I wanted its close to daylight robbery.

You can tell the guys care a lot about what they are doing and it comes across in the PizzaS. I have been twice in the past year and have enjoyed the experice on both occasions.

Got bolognes pizza.was really nice an perfectly cooked.most pizza shops dont cook them rite.gud service.my wedges could have bin cooked a little more.im sure if i asked theyd cook them extra for me.well pleased.cant wait to go back

always order my pizza from here....it's gorgeous!! there are a lot of pizza places in north Belfast and none of them could hold a candle to pizzaworks......especially love their garlic bread...pure beaut lol their deals are great too! 12" pizza with 2 toppings, a garlic bread and 2 cans of soda for £8.99!!! where would you get it :)

Awesome pizza, can honestly say its one of the best I’ve had...freshly prepared toppings, beautiful base, all cooked to perfection, and friendly efficient staff, made for an enjoyable dining experience. Reasonable prices as well as quality food – and its bring your own bottle too. Have driven past a few times and it generally seems busy, must visit again soon!

Went here with my other half over the christmas period. The pizza and garlic bread were great and the staff were very helpful and polite. Just left the place thinking that Ive had better pizza elsewhere, however this place is still worth a try and very good value for money.

Just had a pizza there (thursday night). First time I've eaten out of there and would highly recommend this lovely little pizza place to anyone. Even though it is out of the city it would be worth the trip out. Food was to die for and the customer service was top class. Will definitely be back! Keep up the brill work.

Came on tripadvisor on Monday morning looking for a good place for a bite before heading to a concert in the odyssey and found this little nugget. It's in North Belfast so just a short detour off the motorway and it's definately worth the visit. I've worked and ate in various Pizza places in my time and have got to say in terms of taste Pizza Works is right up there. This is not just another pizza place, there is a real passion here for using good ingredients and making the best pizza from it. You can always tell how good a pizza is by the crust and the crust here is top notch. The below of Fortwilliam are very lucky to have this on there door step and I'll be making sure to call past the next time I'm in Belfast.Keep up the good work.

A bit too far from the city centre to appeal to tourists (unless visiting the zoo or Belfast Castle in a hire car!) but amazing for locals of North Belfast.Great pizzas, two for one Wednesdays (great value) and bring your own bottle. There is even an off license / wine merchant a few doors down.Unbeatable for a cheap night out.Also free delivery for takeaway pizzas on a Tuesday.

Finest freshest ingredients (delicious Chirizo) with excellent dough base. Excellent combinations, especially recommend bolognese and louisiana bird with hot chilli dip. Very friendly staff, excellent customer service(PA)(CLO). Highly recommended takeaway or sit in. Exemplory meal every single visit and thats rare in Ireland.

Great pizza’s and reasonably priced, at last I’ve found a decent pizzeria in Belfast! I live in south Belfast and travel seven miles passing many other pizza establishments for a Pizza Works, fireball chicken every time, love it! ;o)

Local pizza joint. As far as North Belfast goes it's great. Staff are lovely and somebody who works there has good taste in music. Seating arrangement is a pain in the backside if there's more than 6 people

I have called in on several occasions in recent months and consider the pizza the best I have eaten anywhere ,including the USA!!Quality ingredients ,freshly prepared ,coupled with friendly efficient staff and BYO alcohol ,make for an enjoyable dining experience. Indeed on our last visit ,sunday 11th august ,we were offered complimentary chips which were absolutely delicious!Prices are very reasonable and quality is top class. The fact there were at least 3 delivery drivers working on our visit is testimony to Pizzaworks popularity.

My mum told me how amazing the pizzas from Pizza Works were and I have to say she wasn't lying....they are absolutely delicious. I had 'The Veggie' pizza & would highly recommend it. The crust is fantastic ....exactly like pizza we have enjoyed in Italy. Light, crisp, mouthwatering, simply perfect! There are some excellent meal deals on offer and I can't wait for our next visit. Highly recommend Pizza Works. You will not be disappointed!

We've eaten in the restaurant and had take away several times. Couldn't find fault with the food, staff or service. The garlic dough balls are amazing!

Possibly the nicest pizzas I have eaten outside of Italy! I particularly recommend the Bolognaise pizza...yummy! Friendly service, great offers, seating available and speedy delivery!

Ok, gave this place a poor review when we visited NYE 2012. However have been back twice and am glad we did. Think we got it on a bad night. Pizzas much tastier on both subsequent nights. Also excellent customer service. I think this may be a local favourite.

Amazing mix of flavours, fresh produce and tasty dough! Especially love the bolognese pizza with taco dip. For anyone who loves a bit of spice try the Flamming hot! Love sitting in too...candle lit pizza, what more could you ask for?

I have read the rest of the reviews and can't understand they are for the same place. Really wanted to like this Pizza place as so few places in North Belfast to eat out in. The staff were lovely and very friendly but the food is very poor. Our pizzas were hard and tastless - akin to eating hot cardboard. My husband resorted to putting sald on his to try and get some taste on it! The chips were out of the freezer. We asked for some garlic on the pizza and were presented with a sliced clove. I then asked did they have garlic oil and the waitress said she could bring me garlic butter. I would suggest to the owners to go to somewhere like Little Wing and take the knowledge back to Pizza Works. I do hope it improves.

We had heard some good reports about this place since it had been taken over by new owners & management. Decided to try it out for ourselves & have to say that these guys really do know to make a great pizza! We have eaten pizzas in lots of different pizzerias in Belfast & far beyond, including Italy & Sicily & this was up there with one of the very best we have ever tasted (Catania in Sicily was the best). We had the Louisiana BBQ chicken pizza which also has bacon, red onion & sweetcorn toppings....yummy!! Will definitely have that again. The staff were pleasant & friendly & there is off road parking where you can pull in right outside the place & away from the always busy main Antrim Road. Try this place if you like your pizzas.....so much better than most you will find in Belfast. Highly recommended.

Great pizza in what is developing into a great little neighbourhood spot. Excellent quality and still cheaper than some chains. Great midweek takeaway offers as well.

Simple, fresh, tasty no fuss pizza. The location is a bit off the beaten track but it's worth plugging it into the GPS. The service wasn't overly friendly but it was efficient. It would be way too tempting if I lived close by!

Have been here a few times for take away and sitting in. was there tonight catching up with old friends from OZ and had a lovely time, service from Clara and Owen was very good. Really enjoyed the shared starter and the Flamin Hot Pizza...I will be back soon

Was in belfast for the weekend and i Decided to try pizza works based on the reports on trip advisor. I had the peri peri pizza and salad it was unbelievable possibly the best pizza iv ever had! The staff were very friendly.I will defiantly be back next time I'm in belfast

Stopped going to Fortwilliam Pizza a few years ago due to the poor attitude of staff and poor quality of food. When I noticed the new name above the door I thought I would give it a go. How glad I was!! The old attitude had been replaced with friendly helpful staff (the new owner could not have been more helpful) and the pizza was as good as you will get in Belfast. Give it a go you won't regret it.
