Good to be able to support local independents against some of the franchises. Everything freshly made while you wait with a cold beer.

You can tell by the reviews this is not an ordinary Pizza. The only reviews that are negative are centred on the delivery side. In terms of the food itself. New York, Naples, Venice and ...Wavertree have the best Pizza i have tasted. Living not that close my daughter makes me drive 20 mins past our nearer well know Pizza places just to get what is something simple authentic and well. The base...wow. We like to rock up and have a little drink wait for our pizza made in a tradition oven and dash home to enjoy our favourite piece of pie. Don't know what they do to the fries, crispy and rosemary infused... also a winner. Our go too in Liverpool. Highly Recommend

We get takeaway from here more often than we probably should. Their pizzas are soooo good, quality ingredients and perfect crust everytime. They have veggie and vegan options as well, highly recommend the rucola, it's freaking DELICIOUS.

Last time I had a pizza from here was over 15 years ago and I always called it Claudios. My order was always super meat. Well it wasn't Claudios as I remembered but thoroughly enjoyed it 🥰 superb base plenty of topping and no grease! Hope it's not another 15 years till I return ❤ Decor inviting and authentic 🥰🥰

Fairly expensive - 3.5 stars, Food quality - 4 stars, delivery 30mins late - 1 star 3 stars it is So the above was 11 months ago, since then 1 star all over. The first time I ordered from this place today, never again for sure. Tonight, instead of the suggested 60 mins, it was almost 90mins for delivery (again). In that time I could have gone to the shop prepare the ingredients and cooked it myself and pay the fraction of the price. Why take on more orders if you can`t fulfill? The delivered pizza content on the top of the dough shifted from the left to the right on top of each other and some into the box. Of course I called the place, as in 90mins they managed to deliver a pizza pudding. The person on the phone offered, I guess £4 or something along that line, didn`t really care since I won`t order from them again. Upon rearranging the contents on the pizza, I discovered the burnt side dough and the paper thin base suggesting the quality of the food, filled me with further delight. Overall, I received something I wouldn`t need for free. I will certainly recommend any other place but this one if anyone asks in the future.

Find me a better takeaway pizza in Liverpool - you won't.

Oh my goodness! I got the Vegan pizza with extra grilled aubergine and peppers. Arrived in time by a really courteous lady. I demolished the lot within an hour. Was 5 Star Restaurant quality. Absolutely delicious. Will be my regular from now on. 5 well deserved stars🌟

ordered a al capone pizza and bottle of wine £22 the lot , orderd fo 6pm and it arrived spot on time , the pizza was delicous and pipng hot with really fresh tasty ingredients. loved it and will order again in the future .

Nice pizza but when I've collected, had a few instances of staff being snappy and rude. Found a hair last time, I know it happens to the best, but I couldn't be bothered complaining due to the bad attitude of the guy making the pizza, so I just decided to move on and use other places. If you can't be bothered with base level courtesy then I can't be bothered to be a repeat customer anymore.

Visit this lovely restaurant which I believe make the best pizza in Liverpool. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we ate was full of flavour. One of the best pizzas we had in a long time. We highly recommend!

Lovely fresh and reasonably priced pizzas made in front of your eyes. Nice new seating area to wait in. We ordered a super meat and Al Capone - both had a little kick and were enjoyed hot and cold for afters! Ordered with garlic mayo which are a must for the crusts. The fries are also the best we’ve had from a takeaway, possibly from anywhere as a side dish!

During the lockdown, we relied heavily on takeaway pizza - almost to the point of addiction, some might say. Pizza Parlour was a real discovery and is such astounding value for money. If you get the largest pizza size they offer, you can get about three meals out of it. The choice available on the menu is outstanding, and rather different compared to some of the run-of-the-mill pizzerias out there. I should also mention - fantastic wine too!

Probably the best authentic pizzas in south liverpool. This kitchen has been established over thirty years and is still as good as the day it opened, great to have a beer while you wait.

Theres a lovely punch of females the working they are I think greek I know one of them her husband own a greek restaurant on allerton and I know them both and they are the sweetest people on earth I just love them because of their way of welcoming people they are Amazon people love them

Best pizza around imo been ordering from here for roughly 3 years and never once has a cold pizza arrived at my door as some other reviews suggest.

But well worth returning. Still lovely, traditional, fresh made pizza's and very good value for money. Great also to have a beer while waited and then eat our pizzas inside. A very good choice of pizzas and the pasta dishes looked good too! The current owners have been there for 11 years and have respected Jacqui and Claudio Crescenti's recipes and keep the quality in these competitive times. Our son is also a pizza chef and was happy on this visit that his memories of the Pizza Parlour can remain untarnished and was impressed with his pizza and choice on the menu. We look forward to our next visit, hopefully before too long.

Not sure how long this family owned and genuinely Italian pizza restaurant has been on Smithdown Road, but certainly more than thirty years, which is how long we've been using it! This is a proper Italian shop. They have recently bowed to pressure and now provide Vegan pizza. We haven't tried those. They use freshly made (by them) dough, cooked to perfection, with a wide choice (or compose your own) of fresh toppings. They also offer a range of pasta dishes, salads, beers and wines (well priced) and Italian desserts. Proper Pizza, properly made, by Italians. Grazie Mille!

The pizzas are always lovely from here. However the delivery is very slow, and the pizzas are always cold when they arrive. We used to love close enough to collect which avoided this problem, but since we moved house we now have to wait for delivery.

The pizzas are always perfect and good value. However delivery is extremely slow (states 45 minutes online). We used to live less than 10 minutes walk away or less than 5 minutes in a car, so can not see how it took so long. But pizzas were always hot. However we now live a bit further away, about 10-15 minutes by car and the pizzas take over an hour to arrive and are always barely warm, often cold. This lets it down a lot.

First-time visited pizza parlour ,with family, was the best pizza we ever tasted. The service and the atmosphere amazing.i can't recommend enough this place.

A similar experience to other disgruntled reviewers - Ordered online for it to arrive 30 minutes late and cold. Upon calling, the woman was very rude and said if you live 3 miles away (8 minutes) you should expect it to be cold and for it to be warmed up ourselves. Very poor quality, and awful customer service.

Ordered a 10 inch pizza and it was only 9 inches. Also by the time I got home (5 mins by car) it was cold

Ordered online. The advertised delivery time was 45 minutes; pizza actually arrived a full 2 hours later. I wish I could say the pizza was actually worth the wait but it definitely wasn't. Badly undercooked, barely warm, overly salty and with an unpleasant aftertaste it lacked even a single redeeming feature. An expensive, disappointing and irritating fiasco that we won't be repeating.

Fully authentic made-on-the-premises Italian style pizzas and pastas. You can sit and eat on bar stools or take away. Range of Italian beers or wine by the glass whilst you wait.

Some of the best pizza I've ever tasted!! My sister reccomended that I try the vegan option so we ordered a super vegetable pizza with vegan cheese...and WOW seriously impressed!! Do yourself a favour and get down and order a pizza (and some of the fries!!) You won't regret it!!! (Also fast and delivery & food was still hot!!)

By far one of the best independent Pizza makers in south Liverpool. The prices are very competitive and the food excellent. I have been ordering takeaway Pizza from here for some time. There is a very good selection to choose from. They also provide pasta dishes and very tasty fries. A good selection of extras, reasonably priced, bruschetta, dips and deserts. They also have a good selection of wines and beers and soft drinks. Highly recommended. Do give it a try.

Absolutely love the food here and really good prices. Pizza base is spot on - nice and thin and soft, and the pasta is a nice generous portion. Will be ordering from here again :)

pizzas are great from here, the only problem this time was I ordered the marinara pizza and there was only a few flakes of tuna and one prawn cut up and spread over the whole pizza, was really disappointed this time

Yo había dejado de comprar pizzas, ya que todos eran americanos de pilas de estilo salsa de flan caso. Entonces me di cuenta de la genuina modesto lugar Italiano en el final de mi camino y les dio una prueba. Ahora he tenido muchas pizzas y varias otras comidas, todos han sido muy buenas, el único lugar en el que he tenido una mejor pizza italiana estaba en Cracovia (Polonia).

Food was delicious as always but it took nearly two hours to arrive- 1 hour after it said it had actually been delivered. The customer service on the phone leaves a lot to be desired- no attempts to even say sorry for the delay.

Have been going for 30 years, sadly the original owner passed away, thought I'd never get quality pizza again then it was sold on and the new owner has brought his own take on quality and I must admit it is a spot on.

Acabo de recibir dos pizzas helada después de pedir para llevar y pasar £20 llamó a quejarse y a las mujeres no se disculpó y le echó la culpa a nosotros cuando vivimos pidiendo para llevar sobre el límite de 3 milla. El sitio web no debería dejarnos orden entonces y las numerosas veces que sonó esta nunca fue mencionado, nos avisó de que estaba en su camino. Nunca lo he pedido desde los más lentos para llevar siempre (dos horas) tomó servicio pésima. No pida desde aquí si quieres estar esperando hasta su gris. Y la comida no era ni siquiera la pena la espera! ! !

Hacen la masa en el lugar, observar lo que y luego deslice el babas como pizzas humeantes, llevamos un vatio de corteza ligeramente quemada. No vayas si estás en los avistadores de peso! Tentación injusto le espera.

Order was nearly 30 mins late. When I called I was told by the rude girl who answered it was because of the traffic. I literally live a few minutes drive away. The food arrived and it was not worth the wait. The chips were warm ups and the carbanara was tasteless. Garlic bread could have smashed a triple glazed window. All round terrible service. A phone call to let a paying customer know that their order was going to be delayed would be an improvement on customer service. Wouldn't recommend and won't be ordering again.
