Pizza Hut in Chesterfield

Food was decent but unfortunately there seems to be no interaction with the staff anymore. Everything is done on your phone. Tables were cramped and the ice cream station / drinks station was messy. Would say it's overpriced too, £20 for a buffet for a bit of pizza. Really do have to try to get your money's worth so you dont feel like you've wasted the cash.

Took the kids they love it, staff welcomed us in fine, great food will return again. Pizza Hut is one of our family favourites.

Extremely good staff. The food was great, hot and freshly prepared with plenty of topping. Salad bar well stocked and very clean. Drinks station also very clean. Overall a great experience. Thank you.

Visited for the lunch time buffet. Excellent selection of pizzas that changed throughout our visit. Good service from staff too.

Great friendly service with great tasting food. Only downside was the ice cream machine giving melted ice cream. However kids still enjoyed it.

The new orderimg processis a nightmare and once we got our food it wasn't even cut properly, you might want to sharpen your pizza cutter. The food was exeptional really good 👍.

They make a great diet pizza. They make the bread then add no tomato or cheese. Good for weight loss. If you want a pizza to take out - go up the road, Pizza Hut takeaway Chatsworth Road is 20x the quality. FACT. P.S they also charge £1 extra for the same pizza. ITS A CON of a restaurant.

The garlic bread with cheese topping with the buffet was the best we have had in any pizza hut across the country! Highly recommended! What we didn't like was the fact that they don't accept cash and you are forced to order through a mobile app!

this is a “stuffed crust” pizza. pizza base is so thin you can see the ham on the other side. very disappointing for the prices!!!!

Food quality is not as good as it used to be. Card only and you have to order by scanning a QR code.

We are so happy the place is back up and running. The friendliness of the staff is great and the new deco of the place was lovely and very cosy. Pizza tasted very good and just the right temperature. Great selection too. 👌

The staff was extremely good. Salad bar was constantly replenished and monitored. This is not always the case at other places. The salad bar is a very important part of the meal that we always look forward to. The pizza was cooked perfectly. At some restaurants they sometimes under cook them. Here they were perfect. I really believe the reason why we enjoyed it so much was predominantly down to the quality of the service that impacted on the food.

Extremely disappointed pizza hardly had any topping on and not very warm, 2nd pizza came when we have eaten the 1st staff to busy chatting, toilets dirty and toilet door off. ice cream machine not working properly. Worst meal we've ever paid for. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Everything was good, lasagne was perfect. My friend who is coeliac, had gluten free pizza which was best she's had. We also got Blue Light Card discount for NHS.

Not visited a Pizza Hut in a few years and was really looking forward to it. But it made me really sad ! 😛 At the tender age of 50 I have mixed opinions about a cashless society. Seeing the pros and cons of both sides. If I hadn’t had a younger friend with me I’d have had to leave, hungry. I had no app on my “wind up” phone to “zap” the square squiggles on the table! 😂 and place an order without speaking to a soul. Not long after my friend did zap the squiggles, glasses and bowls where dumped on the table without even a smile, and off we all went to fend for ourselves. Food was ok but really did miss speaking to thanking and tipping a person.

Very disappointing, the price for the buffet almost doubles at the weekend but the options are exactly the same as during the week , when I asked why I was told it was ‘ management policy’ The person I was with paid as I would have walked out as the option to pay cash has been removed. I will not be returning and will not be recommending

Extremely surprised. I haven't been in for a long time due to slow and bad service in the past but last night restored my faith and will visit again very soon. From start to finish the staff were amazing. We spoke to Donna and Casey. The food was delicious and came out in a great time. We didn't want for anything, all our needs were met and more. Pizza hut pizza will always be my favourite, the salad was fresh and tasty as was the buffet pizza however Elise was the star of the show. She xould see i was struggling with my mobility and made everything as accessible and welcoming as possible. A*

Pizza Hut always hits the spot!

What has happened to Pizza Hut, once a thriving place with great atmosphere. Now, a ghost town lacking in service. We are so far past the pandemic, yet on arrival they still mention this as an excuse to the very limited staff and basically forcing you to order yourselves via a QR code on the table. Prices have gone through the roof, yet, service levels have plummeted to have the bare minimum number of bodies around to serve customers using the excuse of Covid! Still! Completely sucked the life out of the place. Pizza tasted great, although £54 for two Pizza’s & two drinks is extortionate. If you want to get customers back through your doors, bring the teams back & lower the prices. Such a shame.

The two ladies who served us were so lovely and friendly had to come and write a review just for them :) The food was brought out quickly and was delish.

Excellent Service - wonderful staff. girl st the end when paying was lovely. Food - Excellent, Hot, Spicy = SPICY (just as advertised) and kids meal a good value option at £7.99 with drinks AND desert - ice cream factory was lovely AND very popular. General View -Wonderful Staff - Superb Food -Good Value for money compared to other eating establishments. - Plenty of space as was not busy when arriving.

I have been there today with my family. Never ever again. The only difference between pizza hut and Mc Donald's is that in Mc Donald's customer service is brilliant and it is really clean and the food is awful but at least not that pricey like in Pizza Hut.

Very enjoyable visit to Pizza Hut today and found Kirsty, the manager, to be extremely helpfull. Due to my dietary needs she did her best to help and was very accommodating. 5 stars Kirsty!

Very expensive considering that I went with two children and only had soft drinks it still came to £80 ..definitely not worth the money anymore

The easy mobile ordering and the allergy knowledge of the staff in the resteraunt was reassuring as to what we can and can't eat, the staff were also attentive.

Yes, it's Pizza Hut. You kinda know what to expect. Decent, fresh cooked, piping hot food. The service at this branch is excellent. Helpful, pleasant and welcoming staff.

Brilliant place to eat, even though it can be a little pricey, staff are run off there feet, great selection food wise, best pizza's around.

We prefer the old Pizza Hut when you were served at your table and didn't have to do all the work yourself although the assistant was very helpful and showed us the new system the place really lacked atmosphere and that personal touch

Great friendly staff, unfortunately for the money the food was 5th rate, our local pizza takeaway make much better pizzas at 50% less cost. Pizzas came out in good time but sides came out after our pizzas were eaten. When you think for 2 people the cost was just shy of £50 I'd NEVER eat at Pizza Hut ever again. £50 at any local pizza take away would feed a family of five and with better quality food.

Ordered chicken supreme.. it was good and garlic bread was delicious.ambience was certainly good. Nice place to hang out with friends.😀

Another puppet for the government to turn the country into a cashless society. Refusing cash payments and forcing customers to you card only. Boycott any business that is Refusing cash!!! We want cash, we need cash we nedd to hit these business where it hurts

Great place to take little ones

Disappointed. Usually good food if you can get served. However they seem to be very understaffed. If you can't/don't do the ordering of the food yourself via the app and pay with your phone, you get forgotten about. After 2 promises someone would come and serve us, which didn't materialise, we left after 20 minutes to eat elsewhere.

Not too impressed, firstly despise not being able to use cash. Not a fan of ordering from an app rather than a human, and the salad bar was stale. Pizza okish but not value for money. A poor example of a mediocre chain.

Haven't been in YEARS buy by gum it was worth it. Every penny of tasty food though it is a tad expensive spendt £30. Shame the salad isn't what it used to be no tomato couscous or apples

What a let down me and my daughter just been with choir £40 for nothing the pepperoni pizza was so bland and hardly any on it had extra 3 cheese and I might as well not have bothered The fries where cold and £3.50 for unlimited drink I only wanted 1 this place is a rip off even my daughter didn't enjoy it will definitely not be going back no customer service what so ever

If I could have picked zero stars I would have! We’ve been frequenting Pizza Hut chesterfield for years and wow it’s gone down hill.The pizza was bland like cardboard and quite possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten,my sons food had to be sent back and changed and it was so cold in there a had to eat with my big winter coat on. £67 for overcooked tasteless cardboard in a dingy cold restaurant is beyond belief.I feel robbed!Should have gone to pizza pi all the way what a joke. Our family Pizza Hut days are done. Don’t waste your money go into town and have “real”pizza at pizza-Pi (no I’m not connected to the place I just know it’s real authentic pizza in a beautiful restaurant at a fraction of the price!) Saddddd these cowboys have had my pants down!

Whilst the food was nice and I do like pizza hut on my most recent visit I was unimpressed. From ordering via a QR code where a tip was mandatory before anything was ordered to 2 out of our 3 pizzas having issues and the manager apologising. I understand everywhere can have off days but might be a while before returning. Still the food that came was nice and they did offer to fix the errors but when on a time restraints it didn't seem worthwhile.

Don't like all the self service it takes away the atmosphere.

Still a good pizza, but now all ordered on an app. Service now reduced to delivering it to your table. App. Asks if you want ice in your drink, then you are told to fetch it yourself. Call me old fashioned, but... Server doesn't even serve the first slice any longer. Avoided the "create your own", assuming that's literally what it meant! May as well have cooked it myself as well. Disappointed with the atmosphere.

Had lunch time buffet. Good choice of fresh salad from salad bar. Choice of two hot pastas and plenty of various pizza though most deep pan. Staff helpful despite being busy . Can only order by scanning QR code. Not sure how you would order if couldn't do this. Can serve self with iced water. Parking for 3 hours and car park very busy. Best to book.

Pizza tasted good but restaurant not as clean as it could be considering the number of staff working v's lack of customers meant the place should be spotless. Too many dirty tables. Unhappy that mobile ordering is mandatory, and cash is not accepted.

You have to book your food online now so there is less personal contact, which I don't like. Pizza Hut is really now just a great place to take young children so it was quite noisy. Having said all that Pizza Hut still makes the best pizzas!

I had the buffet and was expecting it to be busy at 12pm to 1pm while I was there. However it was a good atmosphere but not busy at all. It was a simple process and the staff member was extremely helpful in talking me through the best ways to go about ordering. Would recommend as you can have as much as you want and the choice of Pizza's and Salad was more than enough

It’s been years since I last visited a Pizza Hut. I had fond memories of buffet lunch with a lovely salad bar for about £6 so went in as a table of 4 friends. We were met on arrival and told that we had to use the app to order which was a right faff. The pizza choice initially was lacklustre but there was more choice on my second pass. The pizza slices were all hot and tasty. The salad bar was fine. The ice cream was dreadful - like gritty, milky sorbet. It cost £17.99 each - wasn’t worth it and can’t see me ever going again.

I don't like that you must now order your own food on your phone. The waiting on staff have to bring your bowls, cutlery etc anyway so why are they unable to take your order as well. Made it long winded and it was very very expensive. I chose to try a flat bread with bbq chicken and bacon. The chicken tasted fake and microwaved. I won't be going again any time soon. Step up pizza hut people go to restaurants to feel catered to.

Bring back cash payments, not everyone has credit cards or bank cards and this ruined going out completely for a birthday

I did not go to Pizza Hut to order spam. However they STRONGLY encourage you to order online. When you do, you have to give an email address and consent to their marketing; I could see no way of avoiding that. Assuming the spam arrives as expected, l'll try somewhere else next time.

It has reasonable size parking, good seating area. The staff is not attentive and polite and is not very helpful.

Visited when the kids was off so busy at lunch time staff very pleasant place kept clean food areas kept clean and regularly filled up pizza's always replenished good choices for all

The service was good, but the pizzas were bland. We did not expect to spend over £85 for 4 pizzas, a portion of garlic bread and a portion of fries and 4 refil drinks. it's got extremely expensive over the years. Sad to say I won't be returning due to the huge price increase.

Had the buffet which was a real disappointment because they only put out basic pizza's Margherita, Pepperoni, Vegetable, Ice cream machine ran out aswel. Overall a poor experience don't think we'll be going again.

A bleak and depressing place. Feels dated and a bit grim. The food was some of the blandest I’ve had. I don’t expect too much from a chain place, but this was bad. And drop the “post covid” app ordering nonsense. And no, I’m not going to tip anybody when asked before receiving one iota of service. Won’t be going back, not eaten at PH for years and seem to remember it being brilliant when I was a kid. Not anymore.

Meh... First time going in in years and won't be rushing back. Both the pizza and sides were underwhelming for the price paid. Also the "post covid" online ordering is clunky, would rather order via a person like any other restaurant. Also being asked if I would like to pay a tip before anything has arrived is a bit cheeky in my opinion.

had a birthday party here the event took along time it was a busy day and received a parking fine that Pizza Hut refuse to help us with for being 1 minute over beware if you are doing any sort of birthday party as Pizza Hut will refuse to help when they could easily get this over turned

Our first time in pizza hut was made much easier by your great staff. The food was very good and service time was very quick. My wife is highly medically vulnerable and the young lady that served us had no hesitation in putting us in a more isolated seat away from the main crowd. I could not praise Annabelle highly enough, young, enthusiastic, kind and pleasant. You should put her in one of your adverts for sure.

Came here for their unlimited buffet, as much pizza, salad, ice cream and soft drinks as you want for 12.99, absolutely worth the money! The pizzas were delicious, way better than dominos in my opinion. Will be back
