I haven’t been to the pizza house for a while. I was so disappointed, very small portion of food and staff rude

Brilliant place for a pizza or pasta, have been here many times and always had a great experience. Big selection and everything tastes amazing, also lunch deal is very good value for money.

My Daughter suggested we visited on her 15th birthday,she's been before, I can't express how nice it was,the food was excellent, extremely friendly staff, who must enjoy working alongside each other, they we're dancing to the music in the background, which was lovely to see, very affordable, we will call in again definitely...

I have been coming here for as long as I can remember, my dad used to bring me when I was younger. The pizzas have always been lovely and you can’t beat the lunchtime deal for both quality and price. If you haven’t been, you should definitely give it a go.

I ordered prosciutto pizza and that what I got. Never seen that kind of prosciutto.

A place where are you feel like in family, very good food, good atmosphere. Excellent staff.

The food is absolutely delicious and the waiting staff is lovely.

Okay so the food is pretty good like nice food nice pasta. The waiters are really nice and everything but the owner/manager is a horrible person. We came in at 15:30 and still waiting for some people because we had a reservation. He came to us at 15:15 and slapped the table and said to order food now because he has other people coming for the table. And when I asked what time are the people coming he just gave a generic answer and not sad how much time we had left. Even though we had only been there 15 minutes. This put me and my friend off from ordering as we felt rushed and felt like he wanted us gone. He said it in a really disgusting and disrespectful way which made us unhappy with the service. He could have 100% said it in a nicer way. Also I don’t even understand why he said that to us because we stayed there for around 1.5 hrs and no one came like why was he rushing us for? Then my friend ordered the carbonara pasta and it had a hair in it. The waiter was amazing and just took it off our bill immediately.

Had a nice experinece with pizza house their pizzas are top notch we tried Napoli and meat feast both are delisious and adequately spiced. There are several options like half pizza with chips and salad or whole pizza and there are several options of pizza avalable i liked the Napoli much. And teere were few hot and cold beverages too and we took the hot chocholate option which was nice and cremy not too sugery the staff was really nice and wellcomming there was a que to enter in to the restaurant and it took around 15 minutes to get in. Prices were reasonable and totally worth it i give 4.5/5 and definitely recomends this

Poor service, we didn't like any of the 3 Pizzas that we ordered and was a bit expensive. The only thing that we enjoy was the garlic pizza. We won't visit again

Very friendly service we were sat within minutes, food came out quickly and tasted great and at a good price too. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great vibe , authentic Italian food

Absolutely one of my favourite restaurants, this amazing restaurant makes you forget that you're in peterborough, and is clean, the staff are amazing and the food outstanding. Everyone from the kitchen staff to the owner are wonderful, the food is authentically Italian. Had near enough everything on the menu and honestly can't say anything bad about any of it. Brings a touch of class to an otherwise terrible city.

Never thought I'd ever find a pizza as good as Papa luigi, went here today had the meat feast and was so tasty. 2nd best pizza after papa luigi

Made a telephone booking but when we got there the waiter was extremely rude a tried pushing us out the door saying that we didn’t have a reservation and they were very busy and for us to try next door. The waitress was extremely nice. She organised a table for us but no excuse for such extreme rudeness. I will never step foot in the place again. All the waiter kept telling us was he was very busy all day.

Lovely food, felt rushed towards end of the Evening. Close at 9pm on a week night.

The food was not as expected but the toilet was horrible and I asked the waiter to clean it she didn't fix it or clean it., it is not professional at all.

Went for a meal on Bank Holiday Monday, food was good however once we had eaten the waitress came straight over with the card machine and asked how we wanted to pay and the amount. Wasn't asked if we wanted more drinks and didn't even bring the bill. Felt like we were being rushed out when the restaurant wasn't busy and it wasn't late so they were not closing. A bit disappointing.

Food is good value and very filling (actually ended up bringing a fair amount home in a box for tea too, which we didnt even have to ask for, it was offered), waitresses were polite and friendly, really like this place as do my kids!

A walk in on a Friday evening, very busy, waitresses and staff distracted by a couple of visiting girls. Pizza's were nice enough, thin crust crispy bases. The House special with extra Salami was tasty. The gents toilet was absolutely mining, wet floor, no hand soap, hand drier not working. Don't scramble for a visit. There are alternatives..

This was the best pizza I've ever had. Chips very good and salad amazing, Coffee really delicious and service second to none. Would recommend this pizza eating house above all others.

The food itself was very nice but the customer service is awful. One member of staff was repeatedly rude in that she kept thinking we were going to open a bottle of unopened Prosecco that had been gifted to us from a previous bar. Three days later that bottle is still unopened in my kitchen but this waitress could not accept that we did not want to open it in the restaurant and was terribly rude to members of my staff. She also tried to take food away while people were clearly still eating and was basically rushing us out! When we complained about not being happy with her attitude the manager really did not care but despite this we left a good tip that I gave to a waitress that was very good to us and as I’m giving her the money and our feedback, the manager comes over mid-conversation and says nothing but snatches the money out of her hand and walks off… I’ve never seen anything like it. We won’t be coming back purely because of those two members of staff.

Atmosphere is lovely but the waitresseskeep chatting instead of looking around if you need anything. I asked for 2 plates to share our food, she gave me 1 and did not even look at us or ask if we need anything else. Noone checked if we are happy with the food or if we need anything else. Horrible service specially from the girl with black hair and nose piercing. Just standing on the side of the kitchen and chatting with different members of staff. The Italian waiter was lovely at the beginning but specially that girl ruined my mood with her careless behaviour. It's my first time and I'm not impressed at all

It's probably one of the best places to eat in Peterborough.

Being coming here for over 20 years. The pizza is always great and the restaurant is alot better since the expansion.

I don’t understand why anybody would give this place less than 5 stars. The food is fresh, tasty and well cooked. The service is quick, efficient and the staff that run it are very passionate and quirky. The lunchtime deal is really good value for money. All in all a diamond in the rough and we always go here for lunch when we are out shopping. This particular visit was with my sister in law and we sat outside in the sunshine. Give this place a try, you won’t regret it!

I have ordered Prosciutto pizza and i expected prosciutto ham… instead they feed people with something not even close to ham.. some sort of shredded meat mix… Don’t know even how to explain it. Far from Italian pizza…. The quality is very poor. Good starters tho. I will never come back. Also the waitress came with the bill without being asked for.

Visiting here for the first time with my girlfriend. I opted for the Cannelloni ('Large Pasta Tubes') topped with Tomato sauce but it was 95% Tomato sauce and I struggled to find the thin layer of Cannelloni. It was literally like eating Tomato sauce with a thin layer of pasta hidden underneath. Very disappointing. My partner ha the Salmon Tagliatelle, which in contrast was very nice, I wish I'd ordered that instead!!! The restaurant was extremely noisy (it was almost full) and with no soft furnishing noise was bouncing around everywhere and there seemed to be groups shouting which made things even less relaxed. I think sitting outside might be the right idea if I visited again but on this occasion it was a bit too breezy to sit outside. We sat in one of the booths and there were sauces splattered over the wall which always makes me wonder about the hygeine of the rest of the establishment, although the table we sat at did look clean. The staff were attentive but seemed quite rushed. I imagine they're trying to turn tables as fast as possible. I can't fault any of the serving staff considering the busy conditions. There's a chance I could return on a nice sunny day and sit outside but I wouldn't order the Cannelloni (aka tomato sauce) again. Would've been 1 star but gave 2 stars due to efficient staff and my partners Tagliatelle.

Used to really love this place but sadly gone down hill. Partner found 2 small black hairs on food, my meatball had a raw area in the middle. Being pregnant it put me right off. Customer service gone down hill a bit. No kids drinks options. Manager knocked a few quid off but sadly wont be back

We entered the premises to order coffee and was told we can’t have coffee but need to order from the menu as well, quite surprised and taken aback by the attitude and was told to go down into town and we would find a coffee shop !! The outside tables were empty and would have been happy to have had our coffee outside, but this pompous attitude by a young Waiter was not what you would expect from an Italian establishment. Poor manners, no class

Shocking delivery. Pizza is raw and toppings all squashed in the middle, cheesy garlic bread is a burnt baguette with greasy cheese melted on top, chips undercooked. Worst of all ordered a veggie pasta dish which arrived with mince in it. Rang the restaurant before 9pm and was told nothing they could do as they were closing even though they're meant to close at 10pm. Terrible food, terrible customer service. What a waste of money this place is.

Often times I sit there, for a lunch time it's super full and when you finish your meal they look to kick you out. Yesterday I sat down with my family and we ordered a half pizza with a salad and they ended up charging me for a whole pizza because the promotion had ended. A bill was written with a pen on a random sheet of paper. And I heard them talking at the bar about how they took the £10 tip from me that was written on my bill. I will never sit there again.

Pizza is far from what an Italian pizza should be, which is weird as it seemed the people working there were Italians. Service was okay, but we ended up not getting an itemised receipt, but just a number written on some paper.. Overall, wouldn't go there again.

Overcharged and when we questioned it the manager was really rude, and he shouted unbelievable!!! The bill was almost £10 too much and the meal was only average. Never again will i step foot in the place.

The owner here is very rude. The bill was wrong and we asked for it to be checked, he shouted in the restaurant “unbelievable, unbelievable” and made us feel very uncomfortable. Don’t bother going here, not what it used to be.

With my daughter’s baby shower being a female only gathering and Peterborough United at home on a Saturday. What better way to enjoy the pre match build up with a Pizza at one of my fav places. Did not disappoint. Half a Pizza Caldo with chips and salad, minus the cucumber (devils work) washed down by a nice Peroni. Many thanks all

Service not good I'm disappointed we just arrived with my friends the waiter was behind us and came to ask us for drinks 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Then after we fiNished with the food we didn’t even ask for the bill and the person came I think the manager, he hame straight away with the card machine without giving and showing us the bill ! Not nice we felt disrespectful! But the food was tasty!

They're becoming rude. The girl that works there told me there was no space for pushchair which is fine then I said I can fold the pushchair and make it small so it wouldn't have bothered anyone. She just looks at me without saying anything and one of the other men tells her to shut the door. I don't know if I should laugh or be upset, but these people don't deserve the recognition they have. I guess they feel a bit too important now. Anyway, I'll never go back there again!!

The deal they do at lunch times is great value for money. Staff were friendly and quick to serve. The pizza I had ordered with the chips were nice, however a bit hard to cut into especially with the knives you use. I would maybe go again another time.

Very rude, unprofessional and possibly racist attitude. A lot of empty tables though me and my family (Obviously Muslims) were not allowed to sit by a rude young man behind the bar who just shouted “booking only” which is obviously not true as how could he knew we don’t have booking with even checking!!

Me and my wife have been coming here for over 25 years and our kids love the food more than we do. There's such a family atmosphere here you can't beat it, Jamie Oliver and such can't touch this place its soooooooò good

I accept that pizza enthusiasts might well complain about the base here. It was hardly light, bubbly and foldable. It was dense and almost cake like. Nevertheless, the size of the pizza and the very generous toppings more than compensated. I could hardly eat all of mine it was so filling. Recommended .

I sometimes make pizzas at home so I know all about fresh yeast, kneading etc. I would say that the pizza base here was a bit dubious, It was hardly light and foldable. Indeed, the crust was quite tough and took some pressure to even cut. I don't know what sort of flour they use here. However, I was very impressed by the size of the pizza which was the special and by the very generous toppings. I could hardly eat it all, it was so filling. I was offered the Birra Moretti on draught at £6 a pint. No thanks. My wife also very much enjoyed her pizza which was a vegetarian, though i can't remember what she had exactly. Staff were friendly.

Excellent meal, great calzone,, and pizza house special pizza. They even brought a dessert with a candle and sung happy birthday without us having to ask for it. Friendly, professional and very clean.

Delicious pizza, amazing prices and our server 'Kylie' was particularly attentive. Only complaint is that whilst cutting pizzas plates slide around on the table.

Went at lunch time and it was mega busy, but the service was brilliant, very quick and attentive. Great value for money, £5 for half a pizza of any flavour and chips. Massive portion, can't fault it at all. Delicious!! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
