Good location in Oxford St. Pricing and drinks options are decent enough. Staff very pleasant. Yet to try food.

The cocktails are insane and the staff are so good. Honestly this place is great. If you want a great cocktail Paulo was great.

We come here for brunch often — the potato stack is so tasty! :)

Six of us came for Bottomless Brunch and had a great time. We will return. The only critique, it’s too cold to leave the door open in November. The toilets are sub-standard

Had my first bottomless brunch today, absolutely faultless. Drinks coming around before we finished the last. Food was incredible. Will be bringing lots of people here!

I came to this bar last night as the designated driver of my group. The bar men are super lovely here and deserve lots of praise (those on shift last night (27/10). Drinks were a reasonable price and vibes with the dj were fun for a Friday. I haven’t felt as comfortable ordering soft drinks in other bars but these guys were amazing!:))

Met friends who were down for the Football for brunch. Staff were friendly and happy to help, although sometimes too efficient serving; very much drop and go. I ordered a cappuccino and pancakes with bacon. The cappuccino was more like a latte really, was very milky with not much coffee strength to it at all and served with 2 sugar cubes; I personally prefer a sweetener but it was a bother to ask. Pancakes were of a good size and as a group we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of maple syrup served, most places can be quite stingy with it. Sadly, all of our pancakes were undercooked, so slightly raw and doughy in the middle. Being British of course, we weren't going to kick up a stink and when meeting friends you haven't seen in a while, you don't really want to tarnish the experience. All in all... it was OK, I think the current menu has plenty to offer, but I'm not sure I'll rush back anytime soon.

Breakfast before walking to the cruise ship. I had the Salmon cream cheese bagel with pickled cucumber slice and chili jam. Wonderful! Super flavors. My daughter order the breakfast platter — generous portion! Don’t be in a hurry - but it’s well worth the wait. Well done! XOXO!!

Had a really fun cocktail experience here yesterday evening. The staff are chilled and fun - would definitely come again the new location is lush too.

Only came for a few drinks, last Saturday and it just didn't feel like a nice place to come. Very dark we got sat behind the booth by the till and just made us feel out of the way. We had others around which they went and it quietened down and got avoided by staff. Drinks 2 for £10 on cocktails. So can't complain on price but nothing to write home about. Service was slow, felt avoided but happy to see the waiter had time to eat like serve us first would be great. Bar area so manic loads of dirty glasses on show and with how dark, and unwelcoming just didn't make it a nice atmosphere. Toilet area needs alot of work to reflect the inside bar area. Lovely outside area though.

My second time visiting XOXO since it's moved to Oxford Street. First time the food was amazing. Fantastic service by the server. Second time out for afternoon drinks with a friend. Kevin the manager there was perfect. Offered up suggestions for both me and my non-drinking friend who was having mocktails. Cannot speak highly enough about the staff and the ambience.

As a born and bred Sotonian and brunch fanatic I can honestly say this place is THE best (not to be confused with the little cocktail bar across the street called OX47 haha ) , the staff are attentive , relaxed and friendly , cool atmosphere etc ! The quality of everything is superb and the prices are so so reasonable!! , from Anchor Butter , to strong proper quality tea leaves in a brewing pot as standard served with sugar lumps ( other places take note) the quality/value is unbeaten in Southampton! its the little touches (I had the 2 dippy eggs and buttered sourdough soldiers with a pot of tea at £9.50 !)

Came here to have a couple of drinks to celebrate a birthday! Turns out they do 2 cocktails for £10 Sundays to Thursdays evenings🍻 it is well located, loads of restaurants and Bars around the area. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the music and atmosphere at the place was also good! Would recommend to anyone wanting to have a chill weekend at a cool place!

Staff are lovely and know their products. Venue interior is professional but not modern, needs a little bit of doing up. 2 cocktails for £10 and they are very good. Venue was quite busy on a Friday night.

Really nice place, lovely staff. This was my first visit to XOXO Southampton. I was meeting some colleague for goodbye drinks on a Friday night in January. We arrived around 8pm. As we approached the venue, it looked enticing and cosy from the outside with little lights shining through the glass frontage. As we stepped in, we were greeted with big smiles by the friendly staff, who seemed happy to be there. I asked for a virgin cocktail and the team were more than happy to make me anything I wanted. I chose a Pina colada, expecting just some pineapple juice and coconut water, but I was made a wonderful drink in a cocktail maker with ice, foliage, and special ingredients. The bar tender almost put milk in without checking which would have been a disaster (I'm intolerant to lactose) but I overheard them ask for milk and double checked. They immediately apologised so no harm, no foul. My friends both wanted a dry white and the team member suggested they save money by purchasing a bottle - I was happily surprised to hear this level of conscientiousness. The drinks were reasonably priced. My virgin cocktail was £5, not sure about the wine. Inside the venue is warm and welcoming with comfortable seating. Tables aren't situated too close to each other so you can easily hear the conversation at your own table. The vibe was adult and calm and not like a boozer, though it may just be because it was early. I went back for another drink a little later and asked for water for the table. The team offered to bring it over for me, which was really helpful. We stayed for a few hours and the time flew. Really nice place, lovely staff.

Really nice place to come for a brunch and a hot drink. The prices are a little on the expensive side here but nonetheless the food is tasty and the customer service is excellent. Nice spacious place and nice vibe inside. Would come again.

Mi hermana y yo cenamos en este restaurante el fin de semana antes del encierro durante nuestra estancia en New Forest. El personal ya se estaba adhiriendo a las reglas de Covid y los consejos de distanciamiento social, pero fueron muy acogedores. Pasamos una velada maravillosa e inolvidable. Excelente servicio, deliciosa comida y una velada realmente agradable. Espero volver a visitarlo y le deseo lo mejor al restaurante en tiempos sin precedentes.

La comida aquí es excelente! Pedimos una pizza Padana, pan de ajo y fondant de chocolate. ¡Todo estuvo genial! Y el sentido del humor del personal es una ventaja. El ambiente es genial! Definitivamente recomendaría a cualquiera que viaje a Londres a visitar este lugar. Los locales también pueden visitar:)

Had a lovely meal with the kids and were served by a very friendly waitress. 5 stars. Also, the Vegan cheese is great. Best I've tried so far.

2nd visit here in about 6 weeks had the 40% off vouchers from pizza express pizza. This place used to be a lovely restaurant but the service now is so slow, staff seem so disinterested in customers, leaving tables dirty, customers having to ask for there drinks to be brought over, tables to be cleared so they could have desserts and one of the waitresses was quite clearly annoyed by people asking for things they had ordered! Will only come here now with a voucher as it’s not worth the money now. Restaurant and toilets now looking very tired aswell and all the bins outside for half of oxford streets restaurants looks an eye sore!

After ending our cruise we took a walk around Southampton not being here before. Fell upon Pizza Express in Oxford Street and thoroughly enjoyed their brilliant pizzas. Delicious food, good prices, great service, friendly and accommodating staff. Head for Pizza Express when in Southampton for that quick, tasty bite. You'll be glad you did!!!

Monday. Booked online for 1945. Got there early. PE about 15% full. Asked if we could sit down early. Not a a problem. First warning sign was the manager taking the order old school style i.e. not write g it down. Sure enough the bottle of wine and coke arrives. The bottle of still water didn't. Prompted person and the it arrives. 15 to 20 minute wait and two of 3 starters arrived. Waited 5 minutes. Have up. Started on two of them. Then finally the other starter arrived. Note the late starter was calamari....the same as one of the on time starters. Starters completed waited I think 10 minutes for them to be cleared and then waited around 30 minutes for the pizzas.Remember the old school order taking? Pizzas arrived but no side salad. Prompted manager then it finally arrived. She remembered the dressing but forgot the apology.Prompted for cutlery which was then delivered sans napkins. Oh well.Mains finished and gave up waiting for table to be cleared so just asked to order desert. Chap cleared table and said would bring menus. He didn't. My ever patient lovely wife went and got menus. Chap returned (not any time soon of course) and asked for desert orders only to inform us that the desert we wanted had run out.Asked for bill (with only a hint of pleading) got it then settled in for the long wait for the card machine to arrive.In summary. Food okay. Usual PE fare. But 1915 to 2140 for 3 starters and 3 mains..... a joke.

early evening , and quiet , but nice to sit in the seats outside the restaurant still inside though . Service was pleasent and the pizza,s and garlic bread was good . Used the tastecard , so all in all a nice experiance and good food .

We visited as a group of friends from work and our experience was mixed on this occasion.The pizzas and salads that we had for the main course were excellent - the pizzas are fantastically thin with excellent toppings. Unfortunately the starters and desserts didn’t really match that. The starters were quite boring and not very tasty and the desserts were nothing special.Overall I would return here for pizza but not for much else.

Visited here with my husband and using the 2-4-1 tastecard offer. We had booked for 7pm but it turned out to be a quiet evening and we wouldn’t have needed to book on this occasion. Our waitress was excellent throughout, attentive, friendly and efficient. We had three courses each and all were of excellent quality and arrived in good time but not having been rushed.

After a long drive we had nothing but pizza and pasta on the mind. A real feel good dose of carb!

I stopped over for lunch with my mate. The restaurant was little busy. I was seated quickly ans menu was given. We ordered our food within minutes. Staff was friendly and knew about the food ingredients and gave us recommendations. Food arrived within 15 minutes piping fresh and hot. We enjoyed the pizza and the chicken pasta. Atmosphere is great. Clean inside. Staff are attentive.

arrived around 4pm to an empty pizza express. So empty that not even a staff member or manager was around, we took our own menus and then waited and looked for anyone for 20 minutes to take our order.

Again I can't keep away from the place. Hugh was there finally doing something what can I say best mussels and profiteroles wine (viogner blank) what a lunch at least mussels don't talk back.

Haven't been here for a year or so but definite change in quality...could always rely on good food and attentive staff, but tonight all lacking, table dirty, not once asked if all ok? Generally a bit of a let down in all aspects...big shame!

Pedí una pizza le riene para entrega con Deliveroo. Cuando llegó hacía frío (ocupado con Deliveroo). Esa no era mi mayor preocupación. Había pagado extra por las setas y el jamón. Creo que conté 4 rebanadas de champiñones y no creo que obtuve el jamón extra. Llamada para quejarme solo para ser contestada por una señora muy grosera que me lanzó a un gerente porque estaba "demasiado ocupada para hablar conmigo". Se le dijo que tomara una queja con Deliveroo. Sin embargo no hicieron mi pizza. Antes me había decepcionado la pizza express, pero pensé que, como era una sucursal diferente, volvería a probarlos. Vaya aquí si quiere una pizza sin sabor y no hay un montón en la parte superior.

Met by friendly staff, served promptly and food was good. You know what you're going to get in Pizza Express and it did exactly what it said on the tin. Overall an easy option for a quick meal whilst on business when eating alone.

Tuvimos un grupo de veinte para una comida de cumpleaños y descubrimos que tuvimos una gran noche de comida y servicio. Libby, la mesera, hizo un gran trabajo corriendo, manteniendo los pedidos y sacando la comida a tiempo. Pizza Express tiene un menú estándar de calidad, por lo que la mayoría de las personas saben lo que desearán antes de profundizar demasiado en el menú. Para mí, calamares, la pizza de La Reine regada con un par de botellas de cerveza Peroni. Otros con nosotros disfrutaron los entrantes de bolas de masa y los postres de brownie de chocolate. Como he encontrado con otros Pizza Express en el extremo de calidad de las cadenas de pizzerías de high street.

Desde el momento en que entramos, era evidente lo poco que les importaba. Nos sentamos y muy lentamente nos tomaron nuestros pedidos. Entre los cursos, los dos empleados principales en el piso pasaron su tiempo charlando. Cada vez que se acercaban a nuestra mesa parecía un esfuerzo. En general, no estoy impresionado, sin duda no volverá.

Having just moved to this area of Southampton we are trying to take in the various bars and restaurants in the Oxford Street area.

Although the service was good an undercooked pizza wasn't to my liking. It was rather disappointing to be frank but as terribly polite people, we didn't make a fuss. It was edible but not much more.

I'd never been to a Pizza Express before but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The restaurant was clean and tidy (perhaps a little cold!). Our server was polite, friendly and efficient. The food was brilliant as well and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

OK...., yes it’s (“just”) a Pizza Express and we all have at one time or another eaten in one, but here in Southampton’s Restaurant area This one has to compete with lots of interesting eateries on its doorstep so has to be at least as good otherwise it wouldn’t be patronised would it?

Had lunch there whist staying nearby at the Harbour hotel and would recommend the salads as a main course.Service was good with friendly welcoming staff.

I popped in on my 45 minute lunch break. After telling the waitress I didn't have very long but wanted to sit in and enjoy lunch with my Partner she was so helpful and the service was super quick.

What can I say! Never been served with such ignorance in my life! Came in with a group of friends and it was diabolical! There was only a total of 3 tables and it took the waitress 25 minutes to take the order... when I looked over to see what she was doing she was too busy for us as she was having a chat with another staff member! Furthermore, asked for the bill (which took another 10 minutes that my partner had to go over because my I’ll friend need to go home) and then I thought... well will give her something as I am a waitress and will give her something for her time and she took so long (was another 10 minutes) and didn’t care that I took the tip back only her to come and chase me outside the restaurant asking for her money! Sorry but you deserve nothing for your lack of care and service! I work in the restaurant business and I wouldn’t treat a customer the way you treated us! Never... ever coming back here and if anyone else is wise they would do the same!

Happy with the service, atmosphere and food. Was quiet for a Saturday, but started getting busier around 7.30. Nicely decorated, nice tables.

Llamó alrededor de las 6:30 en un sábado por la noche para tomar una pizza antes de ir a un concierto a la vuelta de la esquina. No teníamos reservación y el lugar estaba bastante ocupado pero se las arreglaron para acomodarnos en una mesa en la parte de atrás. El restaurante tiene un interior realmente elegante y moderno, y el ambiente era vibrante. Nuestra camarera, Libbie, fue muy amable, brillante, alegre y atenta. Usamos un cupón para el combo de inicio / plato principal a las 11. 95 y disfrutamos de pan de ajo y una pizza, ambos estaban deliciosos. Las bebidas son caras, pero eso no es raro en este tipo de cadena de restaurantes. En todos tuvimos una visita agradable.

Nos presentamos sin reserva el viernes por la noche. Si el restaurante estaba completo y no había espacio, o una espera, el personal solo tenía que decirnos. En cambio, nos mantuvieron de pie en la puerta durante 30 minutos. Cuando nos quejamos con otro miembro del personal, la chica original nos miró como si fuéramos un pedazo de sh & t en la parte inferior de su zapato. En defensa de la compañía en general, sin embargo, cuando nos quejamos, nos trataron como reyes y nos dieron comidas y disculpas complementarias; comimos en la sucursal de Worcester un par de semanas después, y fue fabuloso. Este es un problema sólo con Oxford Street Southampton.

Pretty dead in here, cold atmosphere (non existent atmosphere) considering the location, on a Saturday night you would expect more but a bit of a let down. Food was okay, overpriced in my personal opinion though!

Great service and perfect pizza every time! We've found that consistency of quality is achievable and it's provided here always when we visit. The pizzas are divine. The staff are attentive, polite, friendly and most helpful. You'll not be disappointed in our view!!

Customer service was EXCELLENT when we’re visited here. We had a 2 yo with us. Waitress was very attentive but not overbearing. We had brought a new toy with us which was screwed into its box. She went off and got that out for us. Noticed that the pizza I had was overcooked so took it off the bill for us. The other pizza was nice and the pasta dish LO had was also very nice. (I finished it off). We weren’t the only ones in there with a child so family friendly and pedestrianised outside so safe to walk. If I stayed near again I would go back based on customer service alone. Thank you.

The staff said that they were not serving any more, this was around 10pm. On their website ir says that closing time is 11pm. Disappointed, we went next door to med bar, where we were felt welcome.

Before 10 pm came to restaurant and they sent us away. We mentioned to them on website says 23pm and they said is not right. Really disappointing. Never will return.. not even for a drink

Well,I fancied a pizza and the pizza express restaurant was round the corner from my overnight accommodation,it is situated in a pedestrian only area and the outside seating area was very inviting on a warm summer night.

A large group of us from work came in for a meal today, we had a couple of bottles of wine and some other drinks and had a meal. From the very first moment we walked in we were greeted very warmly by the staff. The table was spacious, service fantastic and the food was great. Thoroughly enjoyed by all. Wonderful

Popped in early evening on Saturday and was seated straight away. The waitress who served us was sweet and attentive. The main issue was our order was mixed up, with my toppings on Michelle’s pizza base and hers on mine. We did not complain as due to the time it took to receive the food, we were too hungry to wait for replacements. The food was tasty though. The other bone of contention was that another waiter bashed in to our chairs numerous times without once offering an apology. We won’t be rushing back.

Visited here straight from the Isle of Wight ferry for a 7:15pm booking. The restaurant had a couple of big tables on arrival but generally was quiet, within 30 minutes of arriving it was almost full! Despite being busy the food arrived in good time and was of the usual excellent quality and with a £12.95 deal for two courses it was excellent value too!

We used our Restaurnt Choice voucher here and had a good time. It was very busy but we received good service and good food, we had dough balls (of course) which are always a winner and pizzas for main, they were fresh with lovely toppings. The restaurant was neat and tidy and had a good, fun atmosphere. Can't go wrong with Pizza Express really, have used before and I'm sure we'll use again!

Firstly we were ignored at the door, simply being asked to move out the way. Once we were finally seated, our waitress, Zoe ,left us waiting to be served while she lent against a table outside with the other waitress, flirting with two customers (there was a full restaurant and tables that hadn't been cleared). When she finally came to take our order, we began to talk and she put her hand up to us (for us to stop speaking) while she attended to another table behind us (unnecessarily) - no apology for her rudeness. The bill was incorrect when we received it and while we were explaining it to the manager on duty (Chi - who was lovely and helpful), she walked over to see what the problem was and while Chi was explaining to Zoe her error, she brashly replied "good luck with that" and walked off to flirt with yet another customer outside. This is the second time I've had her as a waitress and has been incredibly unprofessional and rude both times (clearly not just having an off day). As a waitress myself, I am incredibly sympathetic normally but this experience was just horrendous and how she still has a job there is beyond me. I won't be going back as long as she retains her attitude.

Amazing value for money. The food was lovely and the staff very friendly. We had a voucher for 3 courses for £13.95 the only downside to this was there wasn’t many options with the deal.

Had a 2nd visit here a couple of weeks ago on a night out. What a drop off that was! NOt enough staff, the food was sloppy and service slow. When visiting a chain you expect a standard level of service across the board - hugely disappointed as its a lovely venue with the boat details on the walls- won't be bothering again at this branch

We booked online and arrived to a lovely welcome and our table was ready. They couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating and our meal was lovely. Dough balls with a variety of dips were recommended for our party size and they were great. Our pizzas were bang on and enjoyed by all. Thank you for looking after us. We had looked at the previous reviews but booked anyway so don’t be put off. Tbh it was early evening on a Saturday so not really busy so I guess the service could be different but we had a great time and would recommend.

A standard Pizza Express, but this is no bad thing. Food was good, and the waitress pleasant and attentive.

We were looking forward to a nice meal but were so appalled by the dreadful service that we walked out. We were seated & waited an eternity for anyone to come & take our order. The Waiter didn't seem surprised when we left. We had a look at the menu why we waited & to be honest for what they are charging its ridiculously over priced for what it is.

I appreciate it was a Saturday night however it was 20 minutes before anyone came to take a drinks order. Drinks weren't that quick to arrive. The manager seemed very rushed to take our mains order as we hadn't order these before our starter arriving. Only one women's toilet in order results in a long queue. The waitresses seemed more interested in chatting to someone they seemed to know on the table next to us than serving other customers.

After shopping, we went to Pizza Express for dinner. The food arrived quickly & was hot and delicious. The staff with polite & friendly. An excellent experience.

What to say? Well it was a Pizza Express that was certainly more akin to a restaurant than some of their more overcrowded canteen style ones.

Light and bright ambience. Staff tried hard for us despite being busy. Food was good. The salad (which I only ordered when half way through my pizza) arrived at the table towards the end of our meal, so they took it off the bill entirely at their own initiative - impressive.

Fantastic pizza with vegan cheese; but only one option available. No suitable desserts or even non-dairy milk for coffee however,...
