We had a fabulous time at Piccolino’s in Stockton Heath. We have been many times before and this time Davide was our waiter and was lovely and very attentive. We would definitely recommend this restaurant, hence the five star review.

Jeesu was a fantastic server. She was always happy to go the extra mile with our requests and nothing was too much bother! She’s a credit to the Stockton heath restaurant - her, and the kind gentleman at the front who took us to our table and greeted me by my name. He may have been a manager? The extra touches really do make a difference. Food was piping hot when served however the arriabiata was quite bland. Overall we had a lovely experience and can’t wait to come back!

The food, ambiance and service was fantastic. Piccolino in Stockton Heath is one of my favourite places to visit for a nice stress free night out. The service from the Anya is always friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble and always done with a smile. Intact I can't fault any of the staff, Pedro has a great team of people. Great atmosphere and food. Our server Emily was really helpful and attentive and made our evening really enjoyable.

Food was very poor. My chicken dish hadn't been cooked properly and was raw in the middle. It was replaced by sea bass, which was overcooked and leathery. Most of the garlic and rosemary potatoes were black and rotten and had to be returned. A bottle of water cost £5.50. The staff were helpful and apologetic, but I won't be returning.

Just had the most amazing food and cocktails, but what made our time here even more special was Phil who look after us! He was lovely, friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond recommending us drinks and desserts. Because of Phil, we will definitely be returning.

Lovely food, great service, and clean. Toilets are upstairs, which, thankfully, husband didn't need to use, as he finds climbing stairs difficult (he says it feels like climbing everest) due to his health. Will go again.

We ate here last year and were disappointed with the whole experience. Our kids persuaded us to return for a family birthday meal. We were greeted and shown to the table quickly. The service was very good, friendly knowledgable helpful staff. The food was amazing. Very well cooked and served. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. We will return.

Not the best service and highly priced

Visited on a Saturday night as a celebration and managed to get a table last minute in the conservatory seating area. Definitely not a cheap eats option, however the food was absolutely outstanding. Both my husband and I said it was one of the best Italian meals we have had for as long as we can remember. Service was great, with what looked like the owner walking around to check that everyone was comfortable and that tables were being waited on quickly enough. There was also a DJ playing relaxed Ibiza-style music, which made the already romantic ambience that little bit more special, so it was perfect for a date night. Will most definitely be returning - 5* for us!!!!

Really enjoyed atmosphere of this restaurant. It’s quite a large space although doesn’t look that from outside. The service was excellent. Our waitress changed our tap water bottles 3 times without even asking! Pizza was delicious

We booked a table for Mothers Day as we have enjoyed many a meal in this lovely restaurant. However, we expected the same level of service and quality as we are used to and, disappointingly, they simply didn’t deliver. The waiting staff were clearly rushed off their feet and unable to be attentive which resulted in a lackluster experience and ambience. The food was as delicious as usual, so no complaints there, it was simply the fact that the restaurant was at capacity and it was apparent that there were not enough staff for as many covers. It’s a real pity but I would avoid avoid avoid for any major celebrations where it’s likely to be packed. We paid over £128 for the bill of only main courses + soft drinks between 3 people so while I appreciate it was a busy day, I would expect the service to reflect the cost.

I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant. We were let down by another venue for a family party, but at short notice Piccolinos were happy to accommodate us - including 14 children! The food was fantastic, and excellent value, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we really couldn’t have asked for better. Special mention to our awesome waitress, Lotti, who handled everything brilliantly. Thank you to all the staff and management at Piccolinos for making our family celebration one to remember!

All dishes came out cold, not the best for the prices. i’d rather go to a family run Italian restaurant that knows how to cook Italian food.

I came with my boyfriend and had the most amazing truffle chicken and he had a traditional carbonara. It was so rich so flavorful. So so good, Klara and Lori were our waitresses and Kim was behind the bar, all three so polite professional and sweet

Food was average at best, and overpriced (wine wasn't even average) - and all in a noisy environment with ok service. Wouldn't return.

A fabulous family meal in a beautiful restaurant. The whole experience from simple, straightforward booking & pre-visit communication to the service at the table was excellent. So too our waitress Jeesu who was superb - thank you! 😉 The menu is extensive and caters well for GF diners and the food was first class! We will return!

Brilliant food, we ordered the scallops to start, followed by the bistecca alla fiorentina which was perfection, and finished off with the affogato. Every course was executed to perfection. We went on a very busy Friday night, the service was excellent and would recommend anyone to go. We’ve had the bistecca alla fiorentina in many other places and we were very surprised it was equally as good outside of Italy.

Food was cold table was booked for 6.30 didn't get food u till 8.30 but was very very busy when food arrived veg was cold like it had been in a fridge and lasagne was cold in the middle unusual for here

Visited here with my husband, daughter and 6 month old granddaughter. From the moment we arrived Tyler was very attentive, he moved chairs around to accommodate the pram and nothing was too much trouble. We thought we’d just dropped lucky in having such wonderful service from such a professional friendly young man. Later when it came to deserts another waiter Thomas cleared our dishes away and took our dessert order, again really attentive guy, joking with us and making us feel really special. I've always wanted this place to be good but it never makes the cut in my opinion. Tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but its just poor. My chicken pasta had the sum total of two pieces of processed chicken cut in two and no sauce. When i asked if this was normal the response was "not really, do you want me to get more chicken for you??" Odd. Its a shame because if the food was up to scratch its a great atmosphere, decor is nice and location is great. I'd only recommend this place for drinks.
