This place is really great. Always got my order right and the care they take is amazing. They are so friendly and spread the toppings evenly. I've been going for years now never a bad pizza. The lads are great in there

Ordered at 5 pm, pizza came in 45 minutes, when we opened the pizza it was the wrong one. Called up and let them know and they advised a new pizza was going to be sent out, after an hour still no pizza so called. Was told it was in the over, 40 minutes later still no pizza so called again, apparently it was in the oven again. Another 30 minutes went by still no pizza so called again, by this point it had been nearly 2 hours since we first called to see where our replacement was. Was told it was ready and a driver was leaving in 5 minutes and they apologised as they were busy and only had 2 drivers, fair enough but why take so many orders if you can’t Handel the volume. 30 minutes later (3 hours after we first ordered) still no pizza, called up and asked for a refund. Was advised the driver had left and would be 5-7 minutes. Got the pizza after 3 hours 10 minutes. What a joke

I’m usually not one to leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with Pizza GoGo compels me to share a word of caution. Firstly, the delivery process was a complete fiasco. The delivery driver seemed utterly lost, repeatedly asking me to meet him at locations that were miles away from my specified delivery address. To make matters worse, communication was a significant barrier – his English wasn’t clear, which only added to the confusion and frustration. The whole ordeal turned a simple pizza delivery into a drawn-out, inconvenient episode that left me questioning the efficiency of their delivery service. It’s disappointing to see such a lapse in what should be a straightforward process. In today’s competitive food delivery market, these basics are non-negotiable. Pizza GoGo really needs to step up their game in terms of delivery service and communication skills of their staff. I hope they take this feedback seriously and implement changes for a better customer experience in the future

On Saturday the 30th of September a large group of us ordered from there at 6pm cost coming to nearly £60, to have to then wait just a little over 2 hours for our food, the information on the app kept changing so we was holding out that is was going to come. I get that they get busy but they should then have a cut off so they don’t get so overwhelmed with orders and people then having wait 2 hours good warm food to be delivered. I sent in emails and they were not professional. I will not be using them again and will be telling my friends and family to not use them again.

This Pizza Takeaway has a 'Cash Only' sign printed on the door. Any customer or member of the public who sees this sign will be wondering as to why Pizza Gogo Petts Wood is unwilling to accept card payments, if they wish to order and collect a Pizza. In 2023, the most popular way to pay for a good or service is by debit card. Please can you explain why you don't accept card payments for collection, when all the other restaurants, cafes and takeaways in Petts Wood do? What is your motivation for insisting on CASH ONLY?

Ordered a pizza for a specific time. Ordered it a few hours in advance. Explained that e wanted to break our fast with the pizza. We are regulars. At least twice a month. Called 25 mins before the due time, told the driver will be there on time. 20MINS AFTER the sure time I call back to be told they're busy and the food will be ANOTHER 10mins. Don't think we'll be offering from there again.

Pizzas are generally good and if you collect from the store, it is even cheaper. Downside is that for some reason, they don't accept card payments.

Why do they have to reheat chips allready cooked ?? They are disgusting then send them out with deliveroo that takes 15 mins to drive half a mile the chips like eating the take away box and the Shish not much better being going there over 20 years won’t be going back to expensive and quality has hit rock bottom!!

We have used the kebab shop for a number of years but won’t ever again…ordered 2 kebabs, collected & came straight home, played them up & started to eat them immediately, half way thru the chicken doner & I found a DEAD BLUE BOTTLE FLY in the middle of the meat. I called the shop & was offered a replacement kebab, needless to say I asked for a refund & could then hear the boss shouting, he didn’t sound happy at all. The girl on the phone was lovely & couldn’t apologise enough. Arrived at the shop with kebab & fly on a plate, he quickly grabbed it, threw the kebab away & threw £10 at us. The contaminated kebab cost £11 & we didn’t eat either of the meals after the fly was found so wanted a full refund. He threw the rest of the money at us & said the fly could have come from anywhere…why would we plant a dead fly in a perfectly good kebab! There was no apology, not even eye contact from the boss, just had our refund threw at us & ushered out…absolutely disgusting service, as disgusting as the dirty great blue bottle that was dead in the kebab!! Will not be returning or recommending this shambles of a kebab house!

Chicken was very dry and couldn’t eat it and not enough dressing on it. Portions were big though which was a plus

Oh dear oh dear, how the mighty have fallen. Used to be really good, but now you receive a lot less food with a massive price hike. Order was wrong and some items missing (not for the first time), so we called the shop only to be shouted at and hung up on by an employee who when being told part of the meal was missing shouted, “what do you want me to do about it!” and a few seconds later hung up. After calling back and speaking to the manager to try and get it resolved (as the person who originally answered the phone spoke very poor English), he just kept interrupting shouting”I have loads of people in the shop!!” He didn’t listen to what was being said to him which was “your employee was rude (just so he knew) and we’d like to pick up the order again please, mistakes happen”. However, he suddenly could not understand a basic sentence, I gave up. Attached is a picture of their £18 mixed kebab, albeit missing a skewer of chicken they forgot. BTW they deem a skewer to comprise of 5 pieces of very small meat (although our skewer of lamb had only 4), I’ll leave you to judge. A regular customer of 15 years going elsewhere now, as have many other people I know. There are so many Kebab houses in and around Petts Wood now, it won’t be long till these guys will have to change their ways or close….

First of all this place has fantastic food, the service comes with a friendly chat and all round welcoming staff. Prices are good and food always taken away hot.

Lucky to get 1 star seeing as they can't even get the store opening times correct. God knows what the food will be like.

Once I was done with it, the pizza was Gone Gone. Very nice, top quality sloppy seconds loved it very nice.

If there was a option for 0 Stars I’d definitely use it... First we ordered it at around Midnight it got to 5 past 1 when I was coming close to eating my own arm we called them and they said it’d be leaving the restaurant in 5 minutes, 20 minutes later it still hadn’t arrived, 25 minutes later we received a call from the driver telling us he was at the door when this was not the case... we eventually got the food and he kept saying “sorry, sorry, sorry” Anyway let’s move on with the story... We started eating our pizzas and then I was greeted with a rather long looking black string... A hair... just casually chilling there at the bottom of my pizza, made me gag 🤢the chicken bites smelt like gone off fridge raiders it wasn’t at all pleasant... the only thing that tasted nice was the bottle of coke... the moral of the story is don’t waste your time and money. Just stick to Pizza Hut it tastes a whole lot better 👌

No any member of Staff warning mask. And ask to pay in cash only as the boss say that. He say no payment by card only cash only and direct you to the cash mashing a cross the road. Should be reported.

I’m a regular customer every week due to the excellent quality of the freshly prepared food and friendly service. If you like kebabs this is the place to go, even if it’s not that close to you, it’s worth it. You can order by phone or online and pay by card (option for online orders) or cash in the shop. The shop has continuously provided an excellent service throughout the lockdowns.

Ordered a cheese pizza with mushrooms, not only was it over an hour late, the pizza was burnt so didn’t eat any of it. The chicken strips were also soggy and greasy. Not ordering from here ever again.

Waiting over 2 hours for one pizza and a bottle of coke. and when the pizza arrived it was cold and dry wasted my MONEY !!!!!

Although I been regular customer for many years (almost every week ,) they got greedy charging more to regular customers who have been loyal customer every week for many years . This is just a take away kebab ,! But priced at restaurant prices . Their menu prices and description Chicken Mixed which says marinated chicken is £11.50 but they charge you extra £2 for marinated chicken ! When questioned why the menu says £11.50 for marinated chicken , their reply was it is mistake ?!! Total misrepresentation ! 😡 Better go to Istanbul Grill

Ordered two pizzas, chicken strips and garlic bread. This food gave us food poisoning. We assume it’s because the pizza and chicken was undercooked. When reported to the restaurant they acted like we didn’t make an order and was saying nothings wrong with their food. Service is terrible. And the food was bland and undercooked. Never returning here again. Neither should anyone else

Paid online by card, waited 30 minutes past the delivery time, phoned the store "yes is coming" , so waited another 30 minutes,,,,,, phoned again, “is coming now eavin now"..... 45 minutes later no food, phoned the store "driver bring food 2 hour ago". I explained I had not received any food, and that I have cctv all around my property to prove it was never delivered. "no food, too late for delivery, we closed" at 11pm........ Strange because they are open until 1am. I've lodged a complaint with my bank to try and get my money back, but a family of 5 missed pizza night thanks to theives at this establishment. Avoid it.

Wish I could give no stars. Ordered on just eat, delivery to camping site, drive phoned me after an hour of waiting, said he was on a farm somewhere, so I gave him exact instructions to follow the road, and just past a 90 bend big 3ft sign and a massive gateway into the park.... Said I would go down and wait by the road in my car..... 10 minutes I ring no answer I ring the shop driver is waiting on farm..... I drive up and down, no sign,,,, , I ring again, driver is here, address is no good, we do not deliver here. Now its too late to order any food and we have nothing in our caravan...... Oh and £20 out of pocket. These are rude, arrogant, conmen. Will be contacting police in the morning as Reading reviews it's happened a lot at this branch. THEIVES.

This was the worse experience I have ever had. I had to ring up twice to see where my order was and the guy on the phone was rude and unhelpful it took 1 and a half to get delivered. The pizza was cold and the order was wrong.

Ordered a Chicken kebab and lamb shish from here and the food was amazing. Friendly staff and always polite. I have been here many times and cannot fault the food! If you haven't been here yet....give it a go! Paul

Ordered a pizza through just eat, after recieving our delivery time we waited, and waited, and waited, but nothing ever turned up.. rang the restaurant 20 times no answer... rang them in the morning they claimed they had delivered the pizza... and refused a refund.. so basically they’re thieves and liars... next step is head office.

Ordered food - after 45 mins, I called to find where my order was and informed flat buzzer not working, only to be told driver a few minutes away. After 20 mins of no one turning up I called back, person on the phone said it had been delivered (which was rubbish) I then said how is that possible when i was paying cash, no one paid for it and the driver returns without a pizza or money does that not cause concern, only to be told that i had ordered from another branch. I have a disabled hungry son and no delivery or apology. STUPID, INCOMPETENT, LIARS, DO NOT USE

Good delivery time. Basic, overpriced pizza (you pay for convenience of delivery) BUT A TOTAL RIPOFF for extra toppings. Having paid a premium for green peppers, we searched and searched and found, literally, just 3 tiny tiny slivers of it (and I mean TINY). They refused to refund what we paid for "extra" toppings but offered some kind of coupon/discount for extra toppings on our "next order". Yea, right, next order! Ha! Not likely! Thieving gits! My advice - Papa John's - much better quality food and customer service.

Absolutely disgusted with the attitude and customer service from here. I am a regular customer and have always before liked the service however I have been sold raw chiros and was told I was a liar when I phoned up to complain ( I eventually got a replacement after being humiliated over the phone by the manager ) and today I was refused service as my new house has a name not a number? Frankly I don’t see the problem as it is an easy house to find! Defiantly wouldn’t recommend ( the dartford pizza GoGo is much better and they didn’t refuse me service )

Staff extremley rude on the phone I couldnt finish off my order without getting interupted several times. The meatball feast pizza didnt have any meatballs on it!!! The whole reason why we ordered it in the first place and the main ingredient wasnt even on the pizza topping. Secondly the flaming torch wings was sooo soggy and soft. It was burnt and tasted foul! The staff obviously just poured sauce on top of the wings and bunged it into the microwave. Absolutely disgusting! Todays order was a huge disappointment and I definately wont be ordering nor recommending this takeaway atall. Very awful and a waste of time and money!!!

All the meats are not HALAL. They sell pork ham. Uses the same pan and cutter for pork pizza. Everything attached with pork meat I don't like it. The pizza pan they make pizza wiv attach pork and also cutter and also the rest meat chickens are not HALAL

Never delivered the food, rang them 18 times, they never picked up. Finally got through to them the next day, they accused me of lying, refused to give a refund and said "what about the food I made thats gone to waste" and gave absolutely appalling service. DO NOT order from here unless you want to lose your money and end up hungry.

Hello fellow reviewers/people wanting an idea,I went into this kebab house after a lovely night with my friends. I ordered a large doner and chips which on the board said £6.50 ... at this point I was happy, it was late and I was hungry and I was getting some grub. However come payment time they guy behind the bar decided to charge me £7.90, I said look at the board ... this is what I ordered. They man behind the bar who I could only presume was the manager said no no no you ordered something different.After some arguing I ultimately conceded and said "look, just give me the change for what you think I ordered" ... he gave me a what seemed a large doner and chips! I was hungry and just wanted my food, so didn't challenge. The fact that I had ordered my food at a time when many people are coming out of a pub may not have helped me .. it seemed to me like these guys wanted to prey on drunk people, but the fact is I was sober and just wanted some late night food.I would highly recommend not to go to this kebab shop and I would say go to Fab Kebab across the other side of the station. Petts Wood Kebab House will not be receiving my custom after what I experienced and since I work local (on the same street in fact) I will be telling my customers to avoid them as well.Thanks for reading,A disgruntled customer.

Very unhappy with the service I received today, we are regular customers and he took the wrong order over the phone. When I went to collect he had the wrong sized pizza and instead of accepting he had made a mistake in taking the order he started arguing that’s what I ordered, blah blah blah, which I then told him I always order from here and before today haven’t had any problems with the order. He said you ordered this you must take it now, after debating with him some more he finally agreed to make the right sized pizza for us!!!!!!! Why am I going to take something I didn’t order in the first place!!! Very unhappy anyways still decided to wait for another pizza as kids were very hungry, but had to leave my son in the store to watch them as they made it just in case they decided to spit in the food or something. Won’t be going there again anytime soon or if at all! 2/12/17

Having had a few unexpectedly late nights recently and feeling in the need of sustenance, we've recently discovered this place, which is brilliant for occasions like these.It has a good range of excellent and freshly cooked kebabs (and other fast food) with friendly service, substantial portions and reasonable prices. It is also very close to the station.Just sorry we didn't discover it earlier.

Put the phone down on me after I asked for an extra drink since my one was leaking and my pizza was squashed. when I 're phoned them said that the driver checked them and they were fine. Thought they'd be nicer since we're regular customers.

We have been to Petts Wood Kebab house before and had no issues but this time was a different story. Firstly I ordered 2 kebabs, 2 portions of chips and a burger. The kebabs should have had Mayonnaise in one and garlic sauce in the other but no... we received SALAD CREAM instead! On the burger the 'burger sauce' was actually made up of a mixture of salad cream and ketchup, not pleasant. When this was queried I was met with rude staff shouting at me telling me that is what I had ordered. I read the order back to him and he got his manager. The manager then told me that I was wrong and should taste the difference (which I already did before calling and getting a second opinion). He then proceeded to shout at me too being very aggressive and then again told me he would get his manager... After finally talking to the real manager he told me to bring it in so he can taste it himself and also told me to buy a bottle of salad cream and a bottle of mayonnaise before I got there so he could compare the two. ps the chips were burnt (or extra golden black)

Really good fresh kebabs, really generous fillings and very tasty. They do not look the most trendiest in petts wood area, but having tried all the othhers they are still the best.

The food is great, the guys are really nice, and they are really quick to put your order together. Very generous in both attitude and servings, and in my experience also great attention to detail. Hands down best kebab place in town.

gone downhill used it for years ,but they started to get my orders wrong , even though not large 1st time forgiven but after 3rd time it seems to be rush rush rush to take order as though there not really listening.

I love getting lunch here, staff in there are friendly and chatty. The special chicken shish kebabs I can recommend. The meat is tender and full of flavour and the chilli sauce and mild sauce they make is excellent.

Love this bab shop. Used to come in here when I was a tyke and stopped on the way home last month. Proper kebab shop, nice staff and generous portions. Love it!

I have been visiting this kebab shop for near on 9 yrs - and although ive tried others locally and further afield this is still without doubt the best.Awesome friendly staff is all well and good, but its the food that outshines this! Its not the quickest (and good luck on a Friday when its queuing out of the door) but its always worth the wait and excellent value for money.
