Perthshire visitor centre in Perth & Kinross

20th November Visited for their Winter Afternoon Tea. Great value, excellent food and friendly and attentive staff.

We had the sharing platter, with the best pate ever, haggis in tempura batter, cajun chicken, oatcakes and salad. Beautifully prepared and served. Our waitress Julie was friendly, informative and efficient, a thoroughly enjoyable experience, on our way from Aviemore to Dumfries. Thanks to the team, we'll be back, we've just added it to our favourite places !

The restaurant looked lovely with great Christmas decorations. The lunch menu had a wide variety of options from soups, toasted ciabatta and full meals. We have been twice before and we’re warmly welcomed back by the waitress Helen. After a lovely lunch we had a wander round the shop and bought some Scottish themed Xmas presents. Thoroughly recommend.

After waiting hours in a massive jam on the A9 we were desperate for some food! It was only 10 minutes until the restaurant was due to shut at 8pm. We couldn’t have felt more welcome not a hint of it being to late. We were served a lovely freshly cooked hot meal by friendly and polite staff. Thank you Taste of Perthshire - we will be back hopefully not so late next time!

A wonderful, just off the main road cafe, deli and shopping experience. We had b’fast and a week later lunch, both were great quality, chosen from a varied menu and I really can’t recommend the food highly enough.

Great find. Will stop here again if passing. A bit of everything to appeal to everyone food, gifts, clothes, takeaway, restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. Staff brilliant.

This was our second visit to Taste Perthshire and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was very but but we were quickly seated. We both had the Roast Beef dinner and it was absolutely delicious. Danielle, our server, was cheerful, efficient & friendly. We followed with an Eton Mess & Clootie Dumpling both of which were delicious. This restaurant offers an excellent dining experience and it is clear from the standard of the food that it is local.

My son & I had a lovely meal & hot drinks with our food served by pleasant & hospitable staff in lovely surrounding enjoyed considerably will return

Well worth stopping at. Loads of local products as well as a well stocked gift shop. You can have a sit down meal or just grab some snacks. The selection is great.
