Persian Tasty Grill in Manchester

I have had food from here several times and it has always been nice previously. However, I ordered three kebabs with the specific instruction to wrap everything separately (meat separate from Naan), salad, sauces, etc. This is because it keeps everything fresher and tastier. I even phoned the restaurant to confirm this. However, when the delivery arrived, this had not happened. The delivery took an hour because the driver had to do another delivery on the way and when I finally received the order, the kebabs were all wrapped in the naans, leaving the kebabs dry and cold and the naans soggy and inedible.

Kebabs were good but chips and rings were over cooked

The food was mediocre at best and the restaurant missed out one of the items on the menu. I called back to ask for the item. But later upon tasting the food at present, I felt the food was lacking and the humous was watered down and tasteless, I'm not sure if that's the Persian way or that they intended to make the humous watery. We was hungry and ate what we had. I then contacted the restaurant to cancel the missing item and just get a refund. But was told by the staff they couldn't do it on their behalf. So I just contacted just eat instead.

We usually love this place but was really disappointed. Food cold and one of the kebabs was wrong.

No update when food was out for delivery. Taste was shocking bad and went straight in to the bin.

Wrong order arrived late... 2 x Plain chicken instead of 2 x chicken tikka and no garlic sauce

just bought quibally with lamb and kodeba kebab just eating quibally and lamb and its outstanding really is nice be back soon guys

Love these guys usually - but very cold when it arrived today.

First time ordering from here. Was expecting the kebab to have more meat for £10. Very disappointed hardly any meat and just hard naan bread

Ordered a shawarma kebab and there was hardly any meat on it just loads of onions, more onions that chicken! Such a let down and it left me still hungry! More of a wrap than a kebab! Disappointed

Food was freezing and wasn’t nice at all

Not up to the usual excellent standard. Lamb chops tasted a bit strange and today (day after eating) we are suffering some gastro issues.

The food was early and therefore wasn't cooked properly, also many items were missing from the order and when I called to speak to the restaurant I was told that I was wrong even though I had a screenshot and therefore proof of my order. Never ordering from there again.

Was shocked as ive eaten here so many times before but this time the food was cold, the pizza had barely any cheese or tomato it was all base. The fish was burnt almost and the burger was hard and rubbery like old. Chips were soggy. Im really disappointed

The order turned up 30 late and the driver didn’t have a clue where he is going. The food was stone cold and nothing was sent along side our order, no sauce no salad. It’s just waste of money

On our way back from Metallica concert at Etihad Stadium . Couldn't. Find anywhere open around 11.45 pm. Starving hungry. Persian tasty grill was our saviour. And what a good fortune. There kababs are awesome,well worth the visit if passing.

We go here for lunch regularly and have always had excellent food that is great value for money and polite friendly service. We sit in which can be a bit chilly but is perfectly comfortable.

This place is excellent. Kebabs and Keena made in house as is the bread and their appetizers. Owner is friendly and accommodating as I have food allergies and he was able to recommend foods that suit my diet. Have been a couple of times over the past month, will go again before leaving Manchester!

Chicken sharwma was good and the fish was really taste

So we have had food from this place before when just walked into the shop ordered and waited for food. This is the first time ordered via just eat with them and it was purely for convenience! However I ordered early on for a specific time 745 at 630 they phoned me to say food had been ready for a while and why had I not collected yet. I told them I request for 745 and they accepted for 750. When I picked the food up the paper the food was wrapped in was all wet and soggy and stuck to the chips and bread. Food tasted ok but was so cold we had to re warm which made it quite dry. My question is they just kept the food they made earlier on. When collected the member of staff did apologise for the mix up and said they had put in extra chips with the order. But they didn't! Such a shame! Not a good experience from here tonight atall 😔

Food is really good value for money. Taste and quantity is great. Restaurantend your phone calls and off they do at all, they ll put up lame excuses for being late.

Delivery time was ok. food packaging was really poor. food was squeezed. the quality of food is poor and not close to Persian foods. Persian yoghurt is so different than what was delivered. I do not recommend this restaurant. I can say it is not even close to a Persian restaurant.

Order was delivered incomplete - doner meat missing off kebab ..took near on an extra hour to bring the right kebab and then they asked for the old cold kebab back !

The chicken Bryani it was to spicey and didn't taste good

Food is late they already took almost double time then other takeaways to deliver my food and on top they late When I checked on just eat they updated thier site that they have delivered food at 10:00pm but still m waiting at 10:27 When I called them they been so rude and show me attitude that is very bad behaviour That should tell just eat they busy and they should take accept order until they finish few before My kids sleep now and food is useless for me now which is not delivered yet that's really stressful and horrible.

Excellent fast food delivery! Food delivered 30mins before said delivery time. Delivery time at 0855, Food arrived at 0825, Order made at 0755. Very happy customer. Food was also excellent, husband and I was meaning to try Persian's Tasty Grill's Qabily Pilow to compare it to the famous one in Rusholme that did not do home delivery for a while now and we are NOT disappointed in fact it goes beyond our expectation, The Qabily Pilow tasted even better than the one in Rusholme. We were amazed by this it really made our Saturday night!!! We got a whole leg of lamb with the Qabily Pilow, excellent rice and huge portions plus a big bowl of salad with it. We also ordered the Kobeda Kebab Single, On Naan on the side and asked for extra Garlic sauce, in which the staff so kindly obliged. All I can say is NO REGRETS in ordering from this restaurant and Overall Full marks from us and extremely satisfied customers would recommend to everyone :-D. A BIG THANK YOU goes out to the staff of Persian Tasty Grill for a job Well done. It was extremely delicious. My son in my tummy says thank you too :-D

Food was excellent and delivery was really speedy!

Food was good but delivery time was shocking. Was given a time of 45 mins. It took 2 hours. After ringing, no apology just "delivery man has just left"

The fries are cold and dry. They don't use descretion on offers. Offers are not specific on site and they will leave you an item short no matter how much you spend. Order 4 single kebab offer but if you order under them offers and they come with drink and fries they don't give you the freebie which is being tite. The do a nice salad, pizza and clay oven meats give them credit there.

This has become one of our favourite takeaways! The food is always fresh and has an authentic taste.

We ordered a mixed grill and two pizzas. The people at the takeaway delivered the food in around an hour. But the food was very good and the wait was worth it.

The driver called and found the phone off because there was no signal and instead of taking the food back or calling again later, he delivered to a neighbor and we never recieved the food. No refund or replacementent sent!!!!

always go for a chicken kebab when I fancy a "healthier takeaway", tried a few in levenshulme now, but no excitement...until tonight!!!!!!!....ordered a large chicken tikka kebab, £7.50, little higher than I usually would pay...but oh..it was worth every penny...Went to pick it up, a little nervous they didn't ask what sauces I wanted on it...I had no need to fear!!..I was handed an enormous bag of food!...Huge kebab, (about a foot long), massive chunks of chargrilled chicken, chillies, chargrilled whole onion halves delicious, fresh nan bread, a big tray of really fresh salad, tub of yoghurt and separate tub of chilli sauce...the rest is in the fridge for lunch tomorrow...this is authentic, quality cooking and the portion size is real value for money...which is often hard to find...will be going again....

Great food everyone the kebabs are lovely and the fish with rice is a firm favourite.

Absolutely appalling service, food took 2 hours and complaint was met with 'I have only one driver, nothing I can do' - food also poor when it finally arrived - avoid - not the first time we have had this problem with Persian Grill but thought we would give them another go, a mistake - don't usually comment on these forums but might save you some money and hours!

Food was nice but took 1 hour 50 minutes to arrive. Then when it come it was wrong. Then took another 50 minutes to bring back the missing items. Not one bit apologetic when I rang to say i wasn't happy

Would not normally leave a review for a takeaway place (does have some plastic seating in side!) however this place is genuinely one of the nicest places for traditional Persian food. The kobeda that they sell is honestly one of my favourite foods in Manchester I get it on rice with a side salad and it's Devine! Don't judge a book by its cover guys!

The food is actually good. But delivery time is as and when they feel like it and can be very late... The restaurant service is horrific and the way the staff speak to you over the fone is disgusting customer service and I won't be ordering again..

Hummus thin runny and horrible last few times of ordering - time for a new Persian!

I have eaten at persian Tasty grill a number of times, but this is the first time I ordered delivery. Compared to their usual excellent quality, the food was cold when it arrived and the chicken was burnt and dry. After waiting 1h 20 mins for it to arrive, we were extremely disappointed. We will be buying in person from now on.

taste was good, yet stomach felt a bit weird, too greasy maybe?

Went for a dinner kebab yesterday but wish I didn't bother, looked good at the start but the chicken tasted like you were chewing on charcoal and the donner meat was unbelievably dry, never again, sickening.

I ordered 2 single Kobedas on naan and one double on naan I was hoping to get a fourth free as part of the offer I did not receive a fourth one When I rang up I was told if I had ordered four single kobedas on naan I would have got a fourth free Absolutely ridiculous Food was horrible aswell

Donner meat was like rubber may be few days old and chips were re-fried dont know how many times , they were like rock solid. Had to throw away everything.

Nice food but the delivery time was awful took I had to keep ringing to see we're the driver was and kept being told "5 minutes" they then ignored the phone to me. Will probably order again a hour before I finish work seeing as though the delivery service is so poor

Delicious as always. We had lamb tikka kebabs and the lamb was so succulent and the bread is gorgeous-fresh and fluffy. I love the pots of chili you can get with all kebabs-so tasty. This place never disappoints.

This week I ordered twice from here, Food portion is getting smaller, the chillo kebab I ordered cost me £8 was a medium size 435ml box with few slices of beef, very disappointed with size. Same with Qabuliy rice, this time around the portion was smaller, for the price and their reputation they must step up, although food is tasty that's the reason keep ordering from there.

Absolute quality, ordered at 9.25pm it said expected at 10.35pm i thought that was a long time but went ahead with the order! It came 20mins after order placed, the food was hot, fresh, chips were not soggy, (that is a pet hate of mine....soggy chips). I put a note on the delivery which they took note of. Some places dont even notice it. Great food, great service. Would order again no problem

I have always gave Persian 5* and wrote good reviews but they have finally earned themselves a spot on 'The Takeaway Blacklist'. - 1h40m late - Constantly being reassured driver is 5 minutes away... for 45 minutes - Order innacurate - When I politely called the shop again to inform them of a missing item on the order, instead of just apologising they insisted on arguing with me and telling me I hadnt ordered this particular item, then they checked the order and realised I had in fact ordered the item but still insisted on arguing with me about it. I understand mistakes happen but this is not the way to deal with them. Terrible service. Not worth the cost (which seems to creep up every few months) and definately not worth the wait.

The food is beautiful!!!.... But it takes well over an hour for delivery (last order 1 hr 40 mins) so order before your completely starving but so worth the wait, or maybe collect it, lamb and rice gorgeous and the kebabs are huge!!!! Enough to share

I received the delivery exactly 2 hours and 45 mins after ordering. So it came late by about 2 hours! I called in twice. First time was after 1 hour and 35 mins after ordering. They said my address is far and it's been busy so they'd send the driver as soon as he got back. So they told me it would be delivered in 25 mins. Second time I called in was 40 mins after that. They said that the driver left 10 mins ago, which was a lie because it is 15 mins distance. So the delivery should've been with me in 5 mins but I received it after 30 mins. Delivery came, the person that ordered one of the foods had already left after waiting ridiculous amount of time for a take away. Even worse, their food arrived with far too much spice sprinkled on it!

Food was 2 hours late and poor quality. Delivery driver didn't even apologise for being late. Won't be using again!
