Perkins Restaurant in Rushcliffe

Went here after receiving a voucher for a meal. Having not been before I was pleased that that there was a vegetarian starter and main course. We have the beetroot risotto as starter and I had the onion tart tartan for main while my partner had the sea bass for main. The food was tasty and beautifully presented, The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. It was set in an old railway station with plenty of room between the tables sox you did not feel crowded.

Absolutely top notch! We went to Perkins to celebrate my father in law’s 81st birthday, the rest of the party had been before and we quickly realised why they’d chosen to visit again. Lovely restaurant, atmosphere and setting, friendly welcoming staff and bang on service. The Sunday lunch was absolutely fantastic, we had 3 courses and each one was delicious. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you so much. 🙂

Two of us decided to go for Sunday lunch , it was the best Sunday lunch we had for a long time, I had roast beef , which was delicious , very tender and tasty, my husband had roast pork and he said it was delicious , both very generous portions, vegetables were perfect, would highly recommend it

I haven't been to Perkins for over a year and I was not disappointed, as expected. Absolutely fantastic food and very helpful service with my dietary requirements. The venue is first class and the very best Nottinghamshire has to offer. All of the front of house staff are a credit to the restaurant. Many thanks for a fantastic night out.

Went mid week for the three course set menu. On paper -It seemed good value, £28 for 3 courses but the food was of really poor quality. The Brie crostini was literally a slither of Brie on stale bread! ( my 9 year old child could have made a better job of it). The main course of pork chop was over-cooked and hard. The vanilla cheesecake with the sorbet was the worst course - looked like the cheesecake had come straight from the freezer with icy sorbet more granita than a sorbet. Sadly left thinking this place could be so much better even if they had to charge a bit more for better quality food.

We celebrated my mothers 70th here for a special breakfast, had a lovely morning with fabulous views and ambience, while there were a few things not 💯 Trish the manager and her team have taken on board our comments and with a few tweaks it will be perfect 😍 we will be visiting soon thank you

We had the most fabulous 90th birthday lunch for my mum at Perkins on Sunday We were a family group of six adults and all had fantastic food Two and three course lunches that were perfectly cooked with lovely ingredients Staff were welcoming and friendly and the place itself is just great Beautifully converted railway station very tastefully done Great setting with gorgeous views which will be even better in summer Unfortunately we live in Cheshire so it’s a two hour drive for us but will certainly come again when we are over to see my mum who lives nearby Such a lovely treat very well done

A fantastic night with incredibly good service. Planning a surprise birthday meal is never easy but the pre-event communication with Trish was excellent! Even a deflated balloon was no task too big for her and the team, ensuring all decorations were perfectly presented for our arrival. Visited for a family catch up and 60th anniversary.From the moment we arrived felt so welcome the staff are so attentive and friendly.
