2024- booked table for mothers day, service was very attentive and food came out tasting great. 2022, lunch again was great Had lunch for 2, was very pleasant inside and staff were polite and delivered service with a smile. Had the 2 course lunch and the food portions were perfect and tasted great, and the complimentary mezze were very authentic. Will definitely return to try the evening menu./ back again with family, had a great time with excellent service and authentic food, cant wait for the next visit.

Went here for the first time last week and had the lunch menu which was superb. Food was very tasty and piping hot. Staff very attentive and the cheapest prices we’ve come across Nothing was too much trouble will def go back again and highly recommend

Easy to order, delivery guy was super friendly and polite, food portions were large, fish was amazing, imam was delicious and kids portions of lamb shish were very tender. Other Turkish restaurants we’ve tried have always been too salty, but Pera was spot on! Delicious!

The service we experienced was excellent. The choice was sufficient. My only negative was the blandness of the meal. This was my second visit and both times l feel both meals lacked spices and "umph"

Boxing Day and a complete change to our routine by going out to lunch. The food was delicious and service very good. I always enjoy eating here and reasonably priced.

Neither here nor there, it was a bit lacking. The meal is good but for the price paid I was expecting a little more. We usually go to St Neots but decided to give this one a go. My feedback would be to use basmati rice instead of boiled, offer the table more bread and give a little more food. At almost £20 for a main which is mainly one chicken breast, a handful of rice and some salad I felt short changed. St neots definitely has a better experience overall and the quality is better. The restaurant is beautiful but it was very noisy.

Very welcome service If you need find some place for your dinner and forget to booking it you can have any space here. Me and my friends wanted to go out for dinner and Pera Kitchen was a great idea. Very welcome service and always busy. Food: Huge menu for meal and drinks We are ordered starters and we was so full before main course 😅 Olives,Turkish bread with sauce on the side,beef spicy sausage and something else For main whole fish,chicken wings and grill mix was delicious especially Lamb shisha😋 Also we had cocktails and paid £115 for 3 people Highly recommended to eat in

Always a great welcome and service. Food is excellent the Pera platter in particular is fantastic value.

I admit to being a little disappointed with my meal. Although starters were great, my main was not so good. The chicken was great, but there was too much cold yoghurt just poured over the top. It made the dish go cold quite quickly. The rest of my party also felt starters were better than mains (calamari, mixed, moussaka). Other people we know have been and loved their meals, so maybe we just hit an iffy night. Would we try it again? Not sure. It was, to us, quite expensive for an ok meal

We had a lovely three coarse lunch here yesterday, all freshly cooked with lovely salad and light rice perfectly cooked. Great place to eat , plus the heating was on unlike a lot of eating pubs and restaurants in Biggleswade.

Just ordered food delivery. It was delivered very quickly on a Saturday evening and food was delish. Glad to have a good and reasonably priced Turkish restaurant in the area.

This place is amazing. I have no higher praise than 5 stars all around. From the food to the service to the actual place. We've been there dozens of times and I've never, not once, been disappointed. The waiters are kind and professional. They interact with our kids and are accommodating with things like chips instead of rice, changing the veggies for specific ones our kids like, splitting meals into various plates, etc. It is simply a great place, whether you’re eating with family or for smaller, more intimate meals.

Attempted a phone order on a Friday night. After a lot of to’ing and fro’ing trying to communicate a mobile number I placed the order for pickup - 1 kids shish and a prawn dish. The Person on the phone when we said “one kids shish” said 6 pieces? …we thought he was trying to communicate the number of chunks of meat so we repeated the order - 1 kids meal and a prawn dish. He kept saying 6 pieces (not portions) ..so we said ok. As I was ill (and infectious) I sent my son down to pick it up. They had made 6 kids meals and then sent my 11 year old son away brusquely. He was very upset at his treatment and how they shamed him to come back with £120, We’d ordered 2 dishes at £23 total Even though he repeated what we’d ordered they sent him away. When he got back in tears I called them up - they were very rude and kept hanging up the phone offering for me to come down there, somewhat threateningly, and deal with it face to face. When I did get to talk to them I asked for the manager but was just put back on to the angry person that served us. I couldn’t go down as I was illand my 79 year old father in law has difficulty walking. So he couldn’t go. There was no way I’d send my son back. In fact it was my father in laws 79th birthday and he’d asked for Turkish! Lived in this town for a decade and we’d often take visiting friends and family to Pera (the food is fine) but that’s me done with this spot.

Went for lunch with friends, food was very tasty, plenty to choose from, presented well and very good price, waiters very efficient and pleasant all in all a very nice place to have lunch.

The food was amazing and delicious! Incredible service and they were very attentive to our needs e.g. checking how our food was, whether we needed any more drinks etc. There was a large variety of different dishes, with many vegetarian dishes to choose from!

minimum £20 for delivery is annoying but it was delivered on time and the food was great!

After an exhausting 18 hour day at Wimbldon tennis and a 2 hour drive home, we needed food. The majority of the car voted for this restaurant over a trip to McDonalds. My god we was looked after well by all members of team from start to finish. We had started, mains and a dessert which is VERY rare for our family. But the food was amazing, cooked to perfecting, served piping hot and presenting amazing. Everyone on the table enjoyed the whole night and it was a great place to end a long but lovely day out as a family. We will be returning, thank you.

Had a fantastic meal here with friends this evening, the food was exceptional and the service was brilliant. Really friendly staff who went above and beyond. If you are looking for a place to have a lovely meal in Biggleswade then you cannot go wrong with booking a table here. Some really different dishes that taste amazing!

Went here for a family meal on saturday, 7 people, 4 adults, 3 children, great service, beautiful food children's meals were as big as the adult meals will definitely eat here again also good idea to book a table as it does get full up quickly

Consistently great! Have eaten here a number of times over the past few years, and regularly enjoy a take away from there too. Food is always absolutely delicious and is great value. Take aways have been extremely reliable, and staff and service when eating in has always been great too.

5 of us Enjoyed a Birthday celebration at Pera’s (Turkish) Kitchen last night. Highly recommend this restaurant - best vegetarian Mousakka I’ve ever eaten. Great menu, huge range of drinks (If you’re a coffee lover, make sure you have a Turkish coffee). The staff were amazing. Attentive, friendly, polite, and very professional.

Having been before we was looking forward to going again however it was not a very nice experience. Our prawn cocktail for two of us was lovely however one course of kofte starter was very fatty. Our mains were good but our choice if desserts was very bad.We asked for 3 choices before getting one that was i stock! When i complained about this a waiter was very argumentative and so was very rude so we paid our bill and left but will never return.

This is the second time I have been here, the staff and food fantastic 😋 and also the company I was with too. I throughly recommend this place.

We went there for Mother’s Day and it was soooo nice

I read the reviews recently, so I was a bit worried about service etc. It was a Friday night around 19.00, was relatively busy. Service was impeccable and couldn't fault it. Food was lovley didn't wait that long at all for the main courses, couple of drinks and good company it arrived. Yes, prices have gone up but haven't everything. Staff overheads electric it's just what we need to get used too. Go and try for yourselves.

Food was beautiful if not a little expensive (but cost of living and all that). But the staff- wow! Impatient, rude. Kept coming up and down to my table like they were on a rubber band asking to take my plate when I wasn't finished. Snatched the bread we hadn't finished and took it away without asking. Then decided to keep us waiting for 20 mins when it was time to pay the bill. Blacklisted from my takeaway list!

Went in this place yesterday with my brother and what a pleasant warm welcome and fantastic outstanding service i felt relaxed and so happy absolutely 1000% recommended lovely staff finger licking good food and ambient lighting for relaxed mood will be my regular for sure and ill add the prices are very reasonable considering the fresh and lovely food they present to you god bless and all the best for the future you will be seeing me again and again :):):)

Booking system is ridiculous, no name taken on arrival for a 8pm booking and walk ins being seated before us then told we have a 1 hr wait for a table. If you are fully booked then please do not accept walk ins and honour your bookings

Booked for my daughters birthday, table of 7 First course arrived on time but second course took another 70 minutes. Staff didn’t seem to care. Won’t be back which is a shame as food was great but service was truly awful.

Wow , booked a table for 7.45 , turned up and told half hour wait , obviously overbooked, then card machine not working? , That will be let's not put it through the books then , told need to get cash from cash point , it's 2023 not 1883 !! , Ridiculous, I used to like this place , not anymore, don't try to kid a kidder ....

Brilliant. Really delicious food from a cosy, modern and well equipped restaurant with prompt and helpful service. Big party of 15 was no problem as all dishes came out in time together, hot, fresh and exceedingly well presented. Super tasty charcoal grilled lamb washed down with a juicy Turkish house red. Price-wise.. a little higher than average but great portion sizes, and a culinary experience made up for that. Will be returning.

So we went out tonight with friends 4 people table booked for 7.30pm. By 8pm still waiting on a drink! Had to leave my arm up in the air waiting did actually consider phoning the restaurant to remind them about our table! Places food order at same time as knew wait would be long. SO disappointed with meals - portions have SHRUNK massively and prices have hiked. Very little bread and sauce for 4 adults and salmon steak instead of fillet as it used to be - no warning of this. Of course as soon as the bill arrives then staff are hovering! No where to be seen when we wanted something. Then air con gets switched on full blast and front doors left open to freeze you out at. Won't be back now will stick to St Neots or Stevenage Turkish restaurants.

Good food but quite pricey for the portion you get

Visited on a quiet Tuesday afternoon with friends for lunch. Service was attentive and friendly and the food was very good. Fixed price menu was very reasonable for the quality of the food would definitely revisit.

Portion sizes have certainly shrunk (eg bread and mix grill). Chips were rather tepid. Food does taste good though

Pera Kitchen is our favourite restaurant in Biggleswade. We’ve been many times, this past week we’ve ordered 4 times from here. The food is fresh, plentiful and delicious. You’re greeted with the most moreish warm bread which is perfectly seasoned and cooked on the grill and paired with some homemade dips. Having tried a number of dishes there has been nothing we didn’t really enjoy. The chicken shish is unlike any chicken you’ve had before. The coal fired cooking which can be viewed from the dining area and how it is seasoned is perfect. The takeout option for the experience at home is also highly recommended. My only slight criticism is the inability to order custom sides. For example, chicken wings. You have to buy a whole meal or a kids meal to get them which is a bit of a shame. Maybe something that can be added as an option in future.

Not overly impressed, staff member who served us was very rude, I can’t say much about the food as I didn’t get what I ordered and was told to ‘deal with it’ as they didn’t want to make what I ordered to replace it so I only had the chips so was disappointing after reading all the raving reviews, I appreciate they were busy on the night but my experience wasn’t great. That said the restaurant was beautiful and well decorated, very easy access all being on one floor and everything seem clean and tidy.

UPDATE: Pera is one of my favourite places to go for good Turkish food. If you like liver the Albanian liver is so good and the soft bread they provide while you wait is delicious. The staff are friendly and the service is good. We sat at a table that was directly beneath a speaker and could hardly hear each other speak which was disappointing and my only negative of a good night out. Avoid sitting at table 22. PREVIOUSLY Excellent authentic Turkish food. Good selection of delicious meze and freshly cooked bread. The chicken and lamb shish we're delicious as was the meat moussaka. Well worth a visit! We have been twice so far, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We went on new years eve when a belly dancer entertained us all. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting good Turkish food I a friendly atmosphere.

I use this restaurant at least once a month more often usually. The staff are always very friendly , helpful and attentive. Food is good and as I would always say to any detractors you get what you pay for.

Returned after 3 years to PK. Food (meat) was excellent just as it was before COVID and rice was very tasty. I'm not a salad person but paprika and tomatoes were missing in my salads. Stuff very friendly, all of them. My rating from 3y ago stays. I took the party mix which is 3 meals mixed types and a dessert meal. The burning one is something with prawns in special Extra section at the end of the menu.

The food was great, wine was great, service was great, but the desert seemed to be a bit not fresh, maybe its because they have a big variety on deserts and some don't get ordered often. Also a bit expensive, lower your prices!!!

Whether it's dining in or getting a takeaway, food is always fresh and tasty. Lamb shish is absolutely delicious and their baklava is to die for. Kids portions are big as well and the bread they make is heavenly.

Excellent family meal for 6 so much food and good quality. Excellent service. We will be back soon. Only criticism for me they kept singing happy birthday over and over and extremely loud over intercom, so not a romantic meal for 2 evening......please turn the volume down and sing it at the particular table. Other than that .....Brilliant.

You’d have to travel to Bodrum or Istanbul to find Turkish fare as good as Pera Kitchen in Biggleswade. We arrived in town expecting to have British pub food for dinner and were pleased to find Pera Kitchen. Our host Deniz, immediately made us comfortable and upon our request, made some menu suggestions that proved to be excellent. Thank you Deniz and Pera Kitchen for providing an exceptional dining experience.
