Very good! Tempting menu, food decent size & piping hot nicely presented. Our waitress from a Hungary was super!! So attentive, friendly, professional and enhanced our experience- thank you 😊

Really busy and atmospheric Saturday evening meal with friends. Did not realise that they had an upstairs which which is very well decorated and has Avery good buzz. All food we ordered was excellent as was the wine selection. Now one of my favourite in St Albans as it is a great option for date night, family night or friends night out.

Fantastic food! I had the spaghetti carbonara which was very good, with a calamari starter which was delicious. More than happy to recommend both!Service let the place down slightly, as the staff were very slow to get to us. They were busy, so it wasn't without reason, but we both felt we were left hanging waiting for drinks for quite a bit longer than we should have. The additional kicker, was because of the table arrangement, everytime somebody walked down the aisle they'd knock my arm which was a bloody nuisance.

Another great evening in the Lemon Room. Great food, service and atmosphere, as always. I always opt for the delicious pollo saltimbocca, an addiction, but will be back soon for the lasagne. There's a reason this award winning restaurant is always busy, even on a Monday evening! Highly recommended!

Absolute gem of an Italian in St Albans high street small cozy initiate staff are amazing so friendly and attentive excellent service in fact !! Food was omg delicious starters mains deserts all of it fabulous snd such good value for money - cocktails were delicious !! Absolutely recommend this place loved it it’s a must !

We booked this restaurant for date night and have seen it from the outside of the high street and thought it looked very nice. On our visit we were taken upstairs to a room which we didn’t know was part of the restaurant and it was absolutely stunning - felt like we had been transported to southern Italy! The food was lovely - I ordered the Pasta arabietta and would definitely order this again! Unfortunately we ate too much to sample dessert but will definitely be making another visit as we are local.

We popped in on spec on a Tuesday evening before our daughter’s graduation. They were very accommodating even though we’d hadn’t booked. Service was very attentive and the food was very good and was hot. Great selection of wines and a good menu. A great Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere. Would happily dine here again.

Dined here on tuesday evening. We have eaten in loads of italian restaurants, but this is up there with the best. Authentic flavours. Best pasta sauce outside italy.

From experience this restaurant ticks all the boxes, great food, welcoming attentive waiting staff. It's only flaw is that it is quite cramped on the first floor. Which was why I was overjoyed, if that's not to dramatic, to learn that they had renovated the upstairs area, which is now a beautiful space, I actually feel I am on holiday when I have eaten in this area with my husband and friends on other occasions. Sadly on the occasion of my daughters 40th birthday, I was informed on arrival that we were to be placed on a table on the first floor. However I had booked the table some weeks before, requesting the upstairs, which I was informed was not a problem. However, when I mentioned my disappointment, that I had booked on the understanding that we would be seated upstairs, the attitude of the manager was not what I expected. She was impertinent, suggesting she doubted that I was told this. When I informed her that I had eaten upstairs at my request on other occasions which had also been confirmed in the same way, was met with, 'we decide where to put people on the day. We have a lot of regular customers who want upstairs, so we can't please them all'. Basically take it or leave it. Sadly we will leave it in future. Fortunately we are blessed in St Albans with a lot of lovely restaurants who also execute delicious food, provide a lovely ambience, have attentive staff, but also have a manager who behaves in a manor that reflects the positivity of the restaurant.

Family meal, four adults and two young children.From the outside the restaurant looks small but inside it was a bit like the Tardis in that it seems a lot bigger on the inside.Typical Italian menu, with choices to suit most tastes, including the children.Friendly waiting staff, tasty and well prepared food, recommend the Arancini, Calamari, Risotto and Pizzas.Only drawback despite earlier comments re size, tables are pretty close and we were next to a table with a guy with a loud voice, who didn’t stop talking!!!

Had such a lovely afternoon at Per Tutti on Saturday. My husband and I met my dad and his girlfriend here for hus birthday lunch. We have been to the sister restaurant in Berkhamsted and this is equally as fab! My husband and I had aperol spritzs and my dad got a bottle of pino. Starters were amazing, i had the breads and oil, x2 of the party had the mushroom trifolati and my dads girlfriend had the bruschetta. So tasty. Mains, x2 of the party had the pollo milanese, i had the margherita with extra basil and my dad had the mushroom risotto. We love the food here, great portion sizes and taste amazing. We spent about 3 hours here and werent rushed at all. Great atmosphere so glad we were seated upstairs the decor is gorgeous. We also had dessert and managed to get the last x2 tiramisu for the table. We also had the strawberry cheesecake and some espressos. They also surprised my dad by coming up the stairs singing Happy Birthday with a candle in his cheesecake which was so thoughtful. Thank you SO MUCH for such a brilliant afternoon, amazing service and beautiful food. Will be back :)

This was my first time visiting this little quirky restaurant and all recommendations of my friends didn’t disappoint. Food was delicious and staff friendly. Will definitely recommend and come back. Great food and beautiful lemon room upstairs. You almost feel like you are on holiday

We came to per titti for my girlsfriends birthday, food was really nice and overall expierence too. After dinner sraff sang hapoy birthday and put candle into cake, which was really nice touch. Will come again

Do not go here if you want to avoid Covid. We thought Per Tutti was a responsibly run place, but were disappointed. We purposely went out before 19 July, but Per Tutti had jumped the gun. The tables were crammed in. Some staff didn’t wear a mask. No windows to provide ventilation. Even if the food is okay, we’re not planning to return.

The person who greeted us at the door wasn’t overly friendly which was a shame but our waiter made up for it.I had the meat calzone and it was superb,even though I was stuffed I had to finish it all.Was able to fit in a tasty slice of cheesecake too.Reasonably priced

Back to the wonderful Per Tutti St Albans for the usual pollo saltimbocca! And, a couple of firsts. Delicious pate as a starter. And, in the amazing, new, Lemon room. Usual great atmosphere and service!

We arrived dead on time and there was a small "waiting table" in front of us but we were asked to wait outside..it was a cold day, I asked why I couldnt wait on the small table and was told I could!!?The food was good. The service was hit and miss depending on who you got at the time The cheesecake was lovely but so small I was reallty surprised at the portion sizeOverall there are so many good places to eat in St Albans I probably wont bother going back

Per Tutti never disappoints! .... A special family celebration made all the better by beautiful food and amazing service. There was a great atmosphere in the restaurant too. Cannot fault it!

We have been many times before and once again got the lunch deal as it’s such good value. £9.90 for 2 courses, with a good selection to choose from. As per normal the food and service did not disappoint.

great location date for friends or couples! We sat upstairs and was beautifully decorated, nearly felt like we were abroad with the setting! Great lunch menu and price, a lot of options to choose from. Not normally a fan of pasta in restaurants, but the fettuccine luganica was stunning. Very generous portion and a lot of sausage meat too!!

Absolutely my favourite place to go if I want to eat italian. Staff is really nice and the food is absolutely amazing! 100% worth a visit if you happen to be in st Albans!

Our first visit since lifting of restrictions and our favorite St Albans eatery is now better than ever. Absolutely full of people and a buzzing atmosphere but still the same great friendly service. There is also a big surprise in store which I will not spoil by posting any photos.

Lockdown anniversary,  and nothing has changed. Lockdown, fortnightly Tuesday Dinner! Delicious pollo saltimbocca,  green beans, creamy garlic spinach and rosemary potatoes. Always arrives hot and on the dot! This is on a large plate,  would serve 2 if you had a starter.

Being really tough trying to keep a restaurant business open under lockdown, Per Tutti (St Albans) have done an excellent job providing the food in great condition and delivered to our house on time. We look forward when we can come back in to eat in the restaurant.

Thanks so much to Per Tutti for making my husbands 40th birthday meal so perfect. He really wanted steak so I ordered 2 fillets, soon after I ordered they called back to say they only had 1 fillet and 1 rib eye available which we were happy to accept but as a gesture to apologise they gave us two complimentary desserts which was so nice of them. Food arrived piping hot, really promptly and everything was absolutely delicious. Fantastic service from one of our favourite restaurants - look forward to when we can eat in again but in the meantime we look forward to having some more lovely takeaways from you!

My husband and I ordered some pizzas to be delivered during lockdown and both were fabulous! My husband had a calzone and I had the prosciutto - lots of tasty toppings and perfect authentic Italian thin crust. We also ordered a side of sautéed potatoes and they were delicious!! Ordering was easy and the man on the phone was extremely friendly - delivery arrived when he said it would! Highly recommend!

This was a first week of November,pre second lockdown evening meal.Food was not great. Quality of ingredients was poor for the price. Staff was friendly, management not so much or open to feedback. We had asked to change our wine which was fine and the staff were really friendly about it, but when food was sent back, we were challenged on it which made us feel uncomfortable considering that we commented on the poor ingredient quality hence the return. I would recommend not being so defensive. Atmosphere was lack luster and we did not feel welcome from the moment we stepped in. When asked for the dessert menu we were asked to leave and given the bill instead, for another reservation because we were expected to decide on 3 courses, be served and eat in an hour..alloted slots should be longer. Restaurant doesn't deal very well with heavy foot traffic. You can find a lot better in st albans, especially Italian restaurants.Ps either sharpen the cutlery or you can buy new ones at TK maxx for a bargain!

This was my third visit in the last year to Per Tutti. All of my visits have been perfect! The mushroom starter is spectacular...in fact all of the food is beautiful. The service is exceptional too. We arrived 7 minutes early (our fault entirely) and had to wait as our table needs to be cleaned, but were seated at our allocated time with complementary prosecco! Totally not needed or expected, but very welcome. The servers were extremely friendly and professional. Overall, 100%. Will return at every opportunity!!

We had a lovely meal on Friday evening with friends who we had not seen for while. The food and service was fantastic. I would recommend the calzone, but everything on the menu looked delicious. We will definitely be back.

Our whole families favourite Italian in St Albans! Great food, great service and great atmosphere from an independent restaurant. Good with kids.

Very cramped, crowded and poorly ventilated. Felt uncomfortable and unsafe. Our table was right next to an opening to a separate area where there was a wedding party going on. There was a continual stream of people walking past our table or standing to chat with no social distancing whatsoever. None of my party of 3 lives locally, so we'd used reviews on Trip Advisor to choose somewhere where we'd feel confident our safety was paramount but it was clear, this was not the case. I appreciate, some buildings are more difficult to adapt but just cramming people in regardless is not on during this pandemic. It was a late lunch and pouring with rain, otherwise we'd have walked out and eaten elsewhere. We complained to the manager but he said they were complying with regulations but I doubt it. Anyway, the food was good which is one plus point.

I recently returned from working abroad and had a meal at Per Tutti in St Albans. They seem to have struck the perfect balance between Covid-19 safety measures and high-quality food and service. I always felt safe, the restaurant had been reorganised in such a way to apply social distancing, staff were wearing masks, sanitiser available. However, the service, food and ambiance were still excellent as though it was pre-Covid. I had a fantastic steak; it was their Steak night and the filet was amazing. I have found that in some places the application of Covid measures has had a negative impact on the quality of the restaurant experience, but not at Per Tutti. I also love to patronise a locally owned business of which Per Tutti is one of only 2 restaurants. I would highly recommend trying it out but remember to book. It has quite a local following!Big shout out to Olga and Anna :)

The food at Per Tutti is outstanding - especially the Gamberoni Piccanti and the Penne Pollo Gorgonzola. Loved the kids menu too - our 6yo was well looked after! Nice to find a place with lovely food that likes kids too! Great atmosphere and lovely staff. We are really sorry that we’ve never eaten in Per Tutti before - it really is fabulous. We booked our next visit as we left!

Just had dinner at Per Tutti with my family to celebrate my son’s birthday. We sat at a large table by the the window overlooking Holywell Hill. A fantastic experience overall: the menu was varied, the food was great and the service was excellent! The staff were very friendly, efficient and really took care of us.

Lovely restaurant: great food, lovely staff, great service, extremely clean and excellent value for money - especially the lunch deal (two courses for £9.80) which was even available on a Sunday. Would highly recommend.

Love everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere inside was lively and the service was speedy and friendly. We had a lovely table by the window and really appreciated the decor. Our starter and mains were fab and even though we stayed past the closing time they offered dessert and made us feel welcome. Can’t fault this place.

By far and away our best take away yet. We love Per Tutti under normal circumstances. The food is great and the service is super friendly. I was really impressed with our meal at home. This is the first takeaway where the food arrived and it was hot. It was truly Per Tutti food @ home.

Excellent takeaway food! Order was taken in a very friendly and efficient manner, the food arrived on time and was piping hot, very good value for money. This is the second time we've used the takeaway service since lockdown and will definitely be using it again.

We love Per Tutti! It is our local and go to for a delicious meal at good value. We also have been enjoying the takeaway service.The pasta is always cooked to perfection and the pizza is mouth watering.The staff are all extremely friendly and attentive when in the restaurant and when using takeaway. I can’t wait to work my way through this menu!

We love this restaurant and wanted to support them during this crisis so thought we would try a takeaway. We ordered starters and 3 pizza’s and pasta and the food was excellent as always. It arrived early and the food was still hot.

During the current crisis we wanted to support our favourite local restaurant by getting takeaway pizza to celebrate Mother’s Day. As always the staff, the service and the food was excellent and we look forward to visiting again when things finally get back to normal.

Had a meal ror two on Sunday evening. Restaurant was very busy and, despite being run off her feet, our waitress was always friendly and helpful without seeming in the least bit stressed. Excelllent service. We had two pizza's which were thin based (the way we like them) and perfectly cooked and very tasdty. We would thouroughyly recommend this restaurant.

We went for lunch today with family. Put us in our own room which was a great idea enough room for 13. Fresh delicious food, large menu has a good amount of dishes to choose from, very helpful and friendly staff. Ideally located off Hollywell Hill, Parking a little tricky. Would recommend.

We ended up at Per Tutti having been turned away from a chain restaurant up the road who couldn’t find room for us in their half empty restaurant. Going into to Per Tutti it was busy, but we were warmly welcomed and given a table immediately despite having no reservation. The staff were super-efficient and friendly, and we had a lovely three course meal which was reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean and warm on a rubbishy rainy night. Would definitely recommend.

Popped in for lunch with friends - really good value lunch time offer - AND the choices were very good. Enjoyed risotto balls, and Carbonara, others had chicken filet and risotto - all were very nice.

St. Albans was deadly quiet on Sunday evening but this lovely trattoria was heaving which is all you need to know about this place. The smell & the ambiance were just what you would expect as you walk into a good Italian restaurant. Terrific service too.

A return visit so we thought we’d try valentines night. A reasonably priced Italian restaurant with friendly attentive staff. Valentines night at Per Tutti was a set menu, dishes for all tastes, a rose for your loved one and a romantic meal for the lovers out there. Defiantly a place to visit for that special occasion.

A family owned restaurant with Italian menu. Fixed price menu and a la carte with good wine list. You will not feel overcharged here. Good waiting staff giving a friendly atmosphere. I am a regular.

Visited with friends for a birthday on a Friday night and it was absolutely packed. Our table wasn't quite ready so we had to wait around for a while which was a bit awkward as there was literally nowhere to stand but once we were sat down we were well looked after. Very friendly staff who were helpful for one of us who was gluten free. The food was nice enough and a fuss was made of our friend whose birthday it was, which was much appreciated. All in all very nice restaurant.

Atmosphere great, friendly packed Italian, service steady, not too rushed. Food really good - if you are there late the chefs are eating there which is always a good recommendation. Can be a bit noisy, which adds to atmosphere, as the tables are fairly close together and they make good use of the space.

We ate here as a party of 4 on 31 Jan. Was a busy Friday night and restaurant was full and lively. Pre booking is recommended.First time for myself and my wife but our friends had eaten here before and we were here on their recommendation. Typical Italian restaurant with a reasonable menu of typical Italian dishes. We were well looked after service wise and the food was well prepared, well presented and tasty. Very reasonable price wise for St Albans. Very pleasant evening and will be happy to return again.

One of my favourite restaurants, I always struggled to get a table on the weekend. Now they have expanded I am delighted that they managed to squeeze me in on a Saturday night.

Delightful evening, great food and atmosphere. Bustling and very busy, but lively. Friendly staff. Decent food. You can feel slightly rushed, as soon as you sit down they want to know what you want to drink and are very quick to take orders and deliver food. You also get an ‘exit’ time as there is a second sitting. (So almost a star star review).

Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday !! Olga Was amazing !!! An amazing setting on Holywell hill !! We ordered 4 steaks all cooked differently! Jovanni and his team cooked them to perfection. Top marks !! Thanks again ! Can definitely recommend 🤗

Went to visit some family in St Albans over the holidays and found this little gem. Great food - amazing lunch time menu and brilliant wine. Will be visiting again soon - in a city with so many restaurants I am happy to have found this one on one of my many visits.

My wife and I went to Per Tutti tonight for the first time. Had booked a table early as we had to be somewhere later. Service was good and very friendly. Ordered garlic bread followed by two main courses followed by tiramisu which we shared. Delicious.

Not quite enough choice if one was having 2 courses as food in each course was similar...

Have been twice with the last 4 weeks, food was amazing both times. Service was great, polite and non intrusive. Make sure you book as it can get very busy! From and Italian to and Italian molto molto benè! 👌🏻👌🏻

We called in on the chance of a meal for 2 and the staff were helpful in finding us a table away from the door and drafts

Wednesday evening,we booked a slot from 6-8,my daughters chicken,for chicken milanese was burnt underneath,she returned it,, the meal was changed but the staff dealt with the complaint with very bad grace.

A good menu, nicely delivered by caring staff, beautifully presented and most importantly very tasty. Only negative for us is parking and a steep hill but worth the trek.

Hadn't been to Per Tutti since the pollo santiboka went missing. Thought we would pop there for the Steak Night, only to find that had gone missing for the whole of December. Had to make do with some bruschetta, lasagna and spaghetti carbonara. All delicious! As Per usual, great service and atmosphere! Always a joy! Looking forward to the return of pollo santiboka.

I have just had the most disgusting pizza at the St Albans restaurant.  I chose the Capra pizza from the lunch menu. When the waiter asked if everything was OK, I told him that my pizza was cold. He returned it to be re-heated. When he brought it back it was warmer but cold in the middle.  The base was totally soggy and I ate only half or less of it.  When a different waiter collected the plates I explained that my pizza had been re-heated but was still cold in the middle and very soggy so was inedible.  I then had a coffee but when the bill came, there had been no concession and not even the coffee on the house in compensation.

We went with friends for a mid week dinner and the food and service were of a very high standard. However, our original table was right by the door, which on a cold winter’s night was not conducive to a relaxed and enjoyable meal. We asked for a table away from the door and one did become available, although we had quite a wait for it. However, we were brought drinks while we waited and were kept up to date on progress towards getting a table. We were moved into another room which was cosy and warm and had a good atmosphere. The tables are on the small side, if we had all had mains and side dishes plus wine glasses and water glasses I’m not sure where we would have put them? The menu has a great selection of dishes including pizzas. We were all very impressed by our meals and said we should eat there more often.

This lovely little Italian restaurant is a must if you visit St Albans. Booking a table is essential as it is small and very popular. All food is freshly cooked and tastes really exceptional. The service was good and the whole experience was great!

Visted Per Tutti on Saturday evening and was not disappointed. Six of us enjoyed a delicious meal that we could not fault. The ambience of the restaurant was buzzing but not too loud. Our waiter George was very helpful and charming. I would not hesitate to recommend eating here and will definitely return. Well done Per Tutti for creating such a great atmosphere and food. We will be back.

The food here is ok, on a level with most in St Albans but forget it if you want a group booking or to add to a booking. Wanted a table for 12 for lunch for a workmates leaving and they could only do 2 tables of 6 which is ok but wouldn't do the lunch menu as we booked for 12 - assume if we had booked for 6 twice, that would be ok! They have missed a good lunch booking

Had a wonderful, tasty, thin based pizza. If what you want is a proper thin base then this is the one for you. Toppings were very tasty. Good service and nothing was too much trouble - waitress went to a lot of trouble to get exactly the topping that was wanted even though that particular combination was not on the menu.

A delicious meal yet again with friendly and efficient service making a family outing enjoyable! Plenty of choice to satisfy everyone. Thank you until we visit again.

Four of us went here on a cold Monday night. So glad we booked because lots of people got turned away. It's only a small place and it was buzzing. We all enjoyed our food but they have a problem with the lights, which kept on flickering. It was distracting and eventually gave me a headache. Would return if they sort the lights out!

We visited on a Sunday for a 50th birthday as a group of 11. We were in the third room which holds about 15 people so it was perfect and nice to have our own section.

Our family meal on saturday was so very good. We shared a mixture of starters. Some went for pizza and others pasta. I went for the linguine de mare. Delicious. We then couldn't resist the desserts to finish a lovely evening.

Lovely experience, congenial atmosphere, delicious dishes, can't wait to go back again... Enjoyed fungi trifolati to start followed by gnocchi with spinach and blue cheese sauce.

I couldn't fault this restaurant abc, having visited four times, that is saying a lot. Excellent freshly cooked food. Fabulous drinks selection, great home-made deserts, fair and reasonable prices. Highly recommended and I am VERY fussy.

Popped in for lunch on a very busy, rainy, saturday afternoon before christmas when the market was on and St Albans was like Piccadilly Circus! Luckily, we managed to get a table for two at the back of the restaurant. As they were so busy and we hadn't booked, we had to be quick and so we just had soup which was delicious. We were sat by a back door and there was a real draft so we were freezing but we enjoyed the soup and left. Would go back but will book next time.

This place is a must-visit. I love Italian food and this restaurant can hold its head with the best I have ever been to.

We had really high hopes for this place. The restaurant is lovely, as are the stuff and the service is great and fairly fast. We found the food to be fairly bland though, and not as good as some other local Italian restaurants.

We hoped to have lunch elsewhere but they were not cooking, However, on the way up the hill I had spotted this restaurant and its lunch offer of two courses for £9.90, so we thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. It is a cosy restaurant with lots of buzzing atmosphere. The food choice was limited for this special lunch offer, but everything was well-cooked, fresh and delicious. The staff were also very welcoming and charming. We will go again!
