We have visited this Garden centre for almost 20 years and today we came to stock up our garden with aggregate, plants and bark and we thought it nice to have some lunch first at the Cafe. I can only describe the attitudes of the two members of staff here as pretty bad, lacking any sort of welcome and even the most basic of customer service skills where it has to be said that the older of the two was much worse being abrasive and bordering on rude while the younger one was just miserable, curt and unfriendly - both were dreadful it has to be said!! The two cafe areas were quiet at the time and yet we were challenged if we had booked or not for which we had not but no tables were marked as reserved so we assumed that this was ok to sit down and to order some meals but we were made to feel unwelcome and spoken to as if we were stupid We advised the younger of the two that the service was shocking and totally unacceptable so we just packed up and left and did not bother buying any garden supplies and we certainly won't bother again which is such a shame because the garden side of the business is normally really good It seems that the cafe manager has a warped sense of priorities and instead of serving and enhancing the customer experience of shoppers at the garden centre she seems to operate the cafe on the similar principles to barracks catering where customers come last in her priorities and obviously not important enough to speak civilly or politely so we will never come back which is such a shame but there are many fabulous places to eat locally and we will unfortunately now look for another garden centre nearby

Came across the garden centre and stopped for lunch. There’s lots of seating (indoor and outdoor) and a great choice of food (and cake) on offer. The service is super friendly. We had lovely fresh salads, a panini and yummy scampi. All were really delicious. Couldn’t have asked for more. Generous portions and love that the plates etc are planet friendly. Doggy ice cream was also a hit. Would definitely pop for lunch again if in the area.

We come here once every new season for the last 3 years. Amazing stock of garden goodies to suit everyone's taste and style. Staff are super friendly and will help load your car up with heavy items without a whim. Christmasses here are a wonder to visit and missed visiting in 2020 due to covid. Of course, no trip to the garden centre is complete without the restaurant to distract us from going home. :) The proper icecream milkshakes are big and thick and stacks of variety in flavours...just how it should be. A lot of places could learn from your example. The food is great too. I love the baguettes. Waitresses are super friendly that have put up with our little tribe. Also there is a cozy part to eat in if you have a dog. Make a few hours out of it if you plan in coming here. Also some nice walks nearby to take the dog...so you could be here quite a while...2 trips to the restaurant even. ;).. Keep up the good work folks and you should feel proud of your work. See you again in the Autumn.

Our very large family stayed in Moylegrove last week. We visited the Penrallt Garden Centre Cafe during our stay and asked the chef, Craig, if we could have breakfast on the morning of our last day. We have a couple of vegans in the family and he arranged to get some vegan sausages in specially! As it was a fine morning we all sat outside to eat. The kids played in the excellent activity playground near the cafe. The breakfasts are huge and excellent value - sausages, bacon, egg, hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans and black pudding! All beautifully cooked and presented. It really set us up for the long journey home.

Visited the cafe during a four night stay in Gwbert. On arriving at the cafe my first impressions were not great. The cafe looks very dated however we decided to stay and order breakfast. The food was fantastic, beautifully cooked. My husband declared his medium breakfast the best he had eaten for a long time. We eat out for breakfast / brunch most days, so that says a lot for the quality. We returned to this little gem three further times for breakfast. On our third visit the cook was already shouting out our order and ordering my husbands coffe in a mug not a cup. Impressive! The staff throughout the garden centre all say hello and smile. If you are in the area it is well worth a visit for the food. It will not disappoint.

A quiet Monday in October at a Garden centre is no guarantee of a good meal but this Moylegrove gem of a place really exceeded our expectations. I had a cajun chicken burger, freshly cooked, whole breast of chicken, moist with loads of flavour in a brioche bun with garnish, beautiful crispy chips, onion rings and dip. We had our dogs with us so were in the dog friendly area of the cafe, warm and comfortable, very welcome on colder days. The garden centre itself is a treasure trove of goodies. It also boasts a big kiddies play area and a woodland walk down to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Staff were super, friendly and helpful. If you're ever out this way, it's a must visit place.

Walked here from Newport along the coast path which is quite a hike, we chose to stop here as it is advertised as dog friendly, which to a degree it is. However the area reserved for customers with a furry friend is quite small, only three tables and we were a bit put out to find the tables taken with non dog owners even though the cafe had plenty of seating. Anyway, after a short wait we got a table and had lunch, the food was in our view OK, nothing more and the area wasn't that clean, the table next to us had been occupied by a family and food was scattered over the floor etc. To conclude, not worth the long hike.

With a warm savoury scone & a big pot of tea, we had enjoyable hour or so There was a huge selection of cakes to choose from. Lunch on a later date with a friend, again lovely & fresh. The homemade coleslaw with the panini was delicious. The only downside :-( there was very little cake left that day. It was my friend's birthday & I wanted to treat her with a slice of their famous cakes...… We improvised and combined brownie with ice cream instead :-) . With a great Garden Centre/Gift shop this makes for a lovely run out for a few hours.

We received all of our meals/snacks after waiting 25 minutes. The restaurant wasn't busy. My partner ordered the beef burger which arrived not cooked through. She then sent it back and was given lots of apologise. After a further 10 minutes she was given the same burger with the same bloodied bun to find a cremated burger that was STILL raw in the middle!! After our meal we went to pay and we were told that we had to pay for half of the burger and the rest of the meal all of which my partner had eaten 3 chips and 3 onion ring as she discovered the blood and raw meat had touched the other food. The manager and staff attitude very quickly changed from apologetic to somewhat defensive when we said we would not be paying for the meal. We ordered off the menu 2 toasted sandwiches and homemade roasted pepper and sweet potato soup. We waited...and waited...and waited!!!! We read and understood the hand written sign that said they served fresh food not fast food. However at almost an hour later this was taking it a bit too far!! Having been told this was a good cafe I asked my friend if there was WiFi. He hasn't used it, but saw a sign am saying there was. So, I decided it might be a good place for a coffee whilst I got some work done.A nice warm welcome on arrival, confirmation of WiFi, decent Americano purchased. When I tried to get online it seemed to take forever, so I did a quick speed test using the reliable fast.com and found it was connecting (and I had a strong signal) at 240k! I think I last connected that slow in 1999...So I had to abandon doing some online stuff I needed to and just enjoy the coffee and a paper. Lovely enough until I came to pay and was asked for a price that was 10% higher than the one on the board. When I queried this I was first told I was looking at the takeaway price. I pointed out that I wasn't and she then told me the price had gone up but they hadn't changed the board. No apology. She again asked for the higher price. I told here she couldn't just put a price up like that. And she began again to try and justify it. At this point she checked with another member of staff before coming back and saying she'd "let me have it" for the original price. A mixed experience. I won't bother returning

We drove up the other Sunday to get a few plants they had a good variety there and we had a drink in the dog friendly part of the café - just before and separate from the Pavilion Café. Next time we are in the area we will call in again to sample the scones we have heard so much about :)

We went here as a family for a pre Xmas get together and also in October for Sunday lunch, both times the Food was delicious proper home cooked and tasty just as I like it. I Also went for afternoon tea here with friends and it was lovely with more than enough food. Cakes were delicious. The garden centre is also a nice place to have a wander around from plants to Yankee candles. Perfect location of Moylegrove overlooking ceibwr bay.

Love this place. Drive over regularly. Plants are so healthy and the garden shop is full of great stuff. Brilliant place to browse and very difficult not to overspend! Then pop in to the Pavilion Restaurant. Never disappoints. Thank you for working so hard to make this place special with constant re-investment. It is appreciated and we will continue to pop in.

Took my parents for a spin in the car, and ended up in this wonderful place. The garden centre is fantastic, stocking a good range of plants and a comprehensive selection of planters, tools, paints, furniture, and ornamental pieces. Far better than chains such as B &Q , and it's like the Tardis inside. The prices are good and the staff friendly and helpful, Richard was brilliant.Whilst here, we had a light lunch.Although the menu wasn't massive it was just about right for this establishment. There are plenty of tables inside and outside. Service was prompt and the food was tasty and fresh.

Great location for a mid walk stop. The savoury scones are huge and amazing - I had cheese and bacon. Others had sweet scones and said they were great too. And huge!! Lovely people. Only drawback is if you want to sit outside the seats are in a very unattractive location with no views at all - except of the wall and building works.

A very nice cafe - friendly relaxed young staff. A good choice of food. Great cakes. Even though I have a very small garden and before arrival tell myself I don't need any more plants...... I can never go home without buying something from the enormous choice in their nursery!

We went today to visit the garden centre and have lunch. We wanted panniNissan but they do not do these on a Sunday due to them doing Sunday lunch. However we were offered beef or pork baguettes. So hubby and I had a before said baguette. Sounds ordinary but it was absolutely delicious!! Dog friendly area in Cafe and lovely strong plants in garden centre. Wonderful service, if in the area please visit you won't be disappointed!

Off the beaten track but we'll worth a visit. This is a regular haunt for us as there is loads to browse through, wide selection of goods and plants and then a little cafe for lunch which is first class. Delightful setting and nice people running the garden centre and cafe. Small area just outside the cafe but inside where you can take the dog and still have your meal and in fine weather there is also outside seating.

Any excuse at all will take us to Penralt garden centre and it's Pavilin Cafe. Today we bought two fab planters and compost for same, which at no extra cost they will deliver for us. Terrific service and knowledable staff. We then went and had tea and their FABULOUS scones. Today we had the cherry and Almond . A real treat and so lovely that it is all homemade. This garden centre is hard to beat and their cafe excellent . Give them a try.

The cafe has great staff really friendly and helpful.Food always freshly cooked ,the lunch is great but if you want a cream tea it's great too and you must try their lemon meringue pie it's lovely. Then when you finish your meal you have the garden centre to look around also the staff are very knowledgeable so if you have a problem with any plant I'm sure they will know the answer.

Very pleasant place to visit even though everything is a little overpriced. Overall pleasant staff, helpful and knowledgeable. The café is pleasant too with a varied menu. We had hot drinks and cakes but meals served to other tables looked tasty.

Visited with my daughter in law and spent an age looking at the plants and the many other items for sale. After spending more time than we intended and buying a gas BBQ , hungry work it must be said, we popped into the cafe. Wow what a delight, light and airy, well laid out and very easy access for an electric wheelchair. Staff were lovely and the food really was good and very reasonably priced. We opted for hot pannini and coffee and were served quickly and by friendly staff. Well worth a visit with or without food, but do try the cafe it is awesome.

We regularly visit this unique garden centre for both the plants and a Saturday afternoon cuppa. The selection of plants and garden equipment is first class. We have been gradually transforming our Pembrokeshire garden - so far as well as plenty of plants we have added a beautiful arch and a swing seat both reasonably priced - we were kept up to date on delivery timings. As for the restaurant /cafe - service is always excellent and friendly. We usually have a cuppa and a toasted tea cake but have had lunch too which was good quality and reasonably priced. We will be returning many times - still plenty of garden to transform - their advice has been much appreciated.Thank you

Four of us plus a dog stopped here around 2pm on a Sunday. The restaurant was busy but not full. We went to order at the counter but were told to go back to our table and somebody would come and take our order. 20 minutes later, we saw somebody come into the restaurant and walk up to the counter and place an order. We went up to the counter again and the waitress then took our order. The food, when it arrived was excellent. If the service had been prompter then I would have rated this restaurant as excellent. We stopped again 2 days later and the service was good although the restaurant was nearly empty. The cakes were excellent. I would certainly recommend this restaurant but only if it isn't busy.
