Having travelled up from London for the weekend we were recommended this Castro pub which was situated of a main road on the other side of Swansea. The restaurant is a classic older style of restaurant with many areas to dine. The pub also has its own mini zoo which is free for everyone to enjoy but please leave a donation as it’s a first for me.

The Pen Y Cae is my favourite restaurant but this is the first time we’ve tried the Sunday lunch menu.

Cosy Corner Restaurant

29/01/2019: I took my husband and 3 children for dinner on saturday at 6.3pm, when they had just opened. We went early to avoid annoying romantic couples who came later. But as it happens, this is a wonderful family place: the children come great home cooked fresh healthy child sized meals. The service was fab! And the kids were so quiet and happy all night, that when the restaurant filled up no one battered a eye. Thank You for making us so welcome and enjoying the most wonderful dinner out. I had the duck to start and a perfectly cooked fillet with stilton sauce: highly recommended. Best Night Out for a while!!! Thank You.
03/03/2019: Another excellent dinner in this lovely and indeed cosy restaurant. The service is kind and attentive and the food is always exceptional! Remember to book as it can get very busy!

The Nags Head Inn

08/04/2019: Travelling along the A483 from South to North Wales we were starting to despair at finding somewhere to eat, when we came across the Nags Head. Whilst the outside is pleasant enough, it's only the signage that gives away the tastefully done modern transformation inside.
07/05/2019: The hot ciabatta sandwich with fish goujons was absolutely brilliant, along with the chips. Also our party had the steak and the ham. Brecon beacon beer was a good accompaniment. Dog friendly inside and out and a very friendly place. Recommended.
