My husband bought home (after working locally tonight ) not only his chicken curry and egg fried but also the man he was working withs chicken curry and egg fried rice too. portions where very generous and the taste was lovely, chicken was tender and flavoured well, enough for lunch tomorrow too, we will definitely be coming back.

Treat meal takeaway but the food was poor, soggy chicken balls curry sauce very bland watery. Spending the best part of £50 definitely not worth the money spent. You expect better quality tasting food. Give it a miss👎

This used to be excellent and I went out of my way driving passed other establishments to get here. We’ve watched it decline over the last year and lasts nights meal will be our last until we see an improvement in feedback. The food was bland, lacked flavour and wasn’t a patch on meals of the past. The prawn toast was soggy, no flavour and absolutely expensively disappointing. The salt and pepper ribs were under cooked and again lacked flavour. Duck curry hardly had any meat or veg included and I think my mushroom inclusion gave them an excuse to hold back. Shredded beef, no spice and again quite flat. I was pleased though that they had included all my dishes on this occasion as I had fallen fowl previously, like others have reported. I do wish you well and change positively as you did have a fabulous brand.

Really dreadful, very disappointing. It used to be a lot better. I remember a take-away from Paw Paw being a treat; no longer.

Missed items off our order (again!!!) and the food was tasteless (the mixed meat curry). Rest of the food was OK (but not worth the money). Much better takeaways in Warwick that deliver (Ruby).

Unfortunately, the food was never delivered. Whilst this may have been the fault of Deliveroo, this restaurant seems to always fall foul of third party companies. I Suspect I will not get my money back and would advise others to use more reputable take aways.

Raw chicken Asked for duck pancakes and got bones. My 2 year old son was eating the chicken. I had a bit and saw it was raw.

Stay well away from these scammers food is only half filled and they don't follow dietary requirements. Happy to take £20+ and give half the food. Not worth it when food is mashed into same container

Very disappointed with my takeaway last night. I’ve had their mushroom foo yong many times and this is my go-to vegetarian meal of choice. But sadly not last night. This was no foo yong but an over cooked greasy mushroom omelette. I could barely eat more than a couple of mouthfuls. New chef? Whatever the reason I don’t feel like ordering from here again.

Food arrived , chow mein looked like gravy and chicken ball was dry and burt and didn’t even come with sweat and sour sauce.

It was my wife’s birthday and we decided not to go out for a change and stay in . The food was really good it’s much better than your standard Chinese food however , they chips they gave us were from day before or maybe older which is totally unacceptable. I did call to complain but the guy who answered wasn’t really interested in speaking to me . Not happy to be honest !

Stayed in our caravan at the racecourse and ordered via ubereats. Great service, delivered hot and on time. Without doubt the best Chinese takeaway we have had. If we lived in Warwick we would use paw paw whenever we wanted a takeaway meal. Highly recommended!

Ordered salt and pepper calamari and salt and pepper chips. The chips were like rubber and could not eat them, the calamari was so dry I couldn't eat that either. Was that dry when I bit it the food disintegrated and was more like eating...

Visiting Warwick for a few days. Been to Paw Paw before but my, how standards have fallen! There's nothing special about the special fried rice apart from bits of scrambled egg. The spicy crispy beef was neither spicy or crispy. Come on Paw Paw, pull your socks up!!!!

Over the past few years I have relied on Pawpaw for delicious Chinese food, but recently I was extremely disappointed with my dinner. After walking there and back to collect my meal, I opened the bag to find that the chicken curry I ordered was not there, instead I found I king prawn curry. I phoned up and complained. They barely said sorry and when I asked them to deliver they said they couldn’t and we’d have to bring the other curry back. I walked back to collect the chicken curry- they didn’t say anything. Appalling! Rude! Don’t go there!

Lack of taste, extremely expensive and small portions. Fancy packaging could have been spent on better portions and reduced cost along with buying more flavours. Very disappointed

The food here is normally pretty good, so i was really surprised by tonights delivery. The quarter duck was ok, but cold. The beef in black bean was totally covered in black pepper which was the only thing i could taste and the egg fried rice was completely bland.

Visited here when moored up on our narrow boat holiday. Really excellent food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

First time using this place since moving close by. Excellent first impressions, clean environment, open kitchen where you can see the chefs cooking and prepping the food. All the food we had was excellent. Clearly a step above your normal take away. Visually lovely and freshly cooked - unlike the usual greasy and over cooked food you get at other places. Very impressed.

Please note this review is only about the take away service. After much deliberation and despite some of the reviews on here, we chose Paw Paw Warwick. Followed a link from their website to Google Play Store and downloaded the Paw Paw application. We used this app to choose our order, it required a very brief registration [2 mins tops] and immediately after selecting "pay on collection" I received an order number and collection time [30 mins], which was fair given it was a Friday evening. The food was reasonably priced and exceptional quality. When I arrived the staff were very friendly and personalised the process by calling me by my first name, the food was ready and I could also see the cooking process taking place in the back. The take away area was immaculately clean and Paw Paw also offer a loyalty card scheme. I highly recommend this take away service to anyoneooking to eat a Chinese meal in Warwick.

After waiting over an hour and half our meal still hadn’t been cooked - there was chaos in the kitchen - we cancelled . Badly managed outlet and rubbish service

We had a rental apartment on the outskirts of Warwick & on our first night after a long journey we decided to have a takeaway. After reading reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to go to Paw Paw, not the biggest menu but very clean shop open to the back so you can watch your food being cooked but quite a small area for waiting in. Food was delicious but being from “Up North” we would have got bigger portions for the money payed.

We used to rave about Paw Paw telling all we knew a couple of years ago fresh food excellent tasting however in December 2017 I said I would give a miss for a while because the food was getting poorer.

I’ve had some great food from here in the past, but I’ve also had them get 2 phone deliveries very wrong. Most recently I ordered a prawn Thai green curry to collect. Friendly service as always and efficient, but when I open led the curry it was literally like flavoured water. I decided to carry on and eat it and quickly realised the whole thing was undercooked hence didn’t dare risk eating the prawn! Sadly it had to go straight in the bin, a complete waste.

Very polite and helpful staff. I like the open plan kitchen area so you can see the food being prepared as opposed to the usual pine clad walls and Minnie Mouse curtain. Very hygienic looking place. Food was decent but unspectacular.

this a good takeaway; it's not quite restaurant quality, but it's decent. We had Singapore noodles; Cantonese chicken and king prawns. It's not the best, but we enjoyed it and would go back. Lots of options and choices; which means it can never be amazing. no restaurant can cook that many dishes to a 5 out of 5

Paw Paw have great quality food and excellent service. Always use their takeaway delivery option. Polite staff on the phone, they deliver quickly and the food is consistently a high quality. Not greasy, really fresh and tasty Chinese. My go to every time now!

This is the Chinese takeaway we always use and it never disappoints. Food is very good and of a consistent standard. I would recommend it.

We have a take away each Friday evening from PawPaw. Phone our order through in advance to collect in about 10 minutes. Don't know what phone system they have there but they always know my name when I phone through and are so friendly. The food is excellent and would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. All freshly cooked.

The staff are always really friendly and the food is always freshly cooked with little wait time. Really enjoy the Pad Thai but also the chilli beef and singapore noodles. Always my first thought when it is takeaway night.

I love Paw paw. The food is always cooked fresh and tastes delicious. I like in Coventry now and still drive down to get takeaway because it's so good!

We visited Paw Paw again as we were in the area. Came 18 months ago and had a great meal so decided to return. We were very glad we did! We had the Bamboo with a portion of ribs and it was all great again. Lots of food for the cost and all top quality, more what you would expect from a restaurant, not a takeaway. Top Class once again and it would encourage us to come to Warwick more often!

It’s now £15 per person by the time you have a main, rice and chips- last 2 occasions they have used fake quorn no doubt to save money but it’s not very pleasant- have used pawpaw for many years but I’m getting dissatisfied

Had food delivered before which I always found satisfactory however tonights was disappointing to say the least. At £28.90 , one would at least expect it to be warm. Salt and pepper prawns, hard , dry and cold. Chips?less said the better. Curry? Cold. Quarter duck? Hard and cold again.

Back in 2015 I rated this place on here as the best in Warwickshire. I've always rated this place as very good, until now.

Ordered a takeaway for 5, capital ribs very good as was the crispy duck. Curries were tasty but sauce was very thin, would make me consider whether I order them in the future especially the Thai red. Beef and ginger was very good. What I really like about PAW PAW is how 'clean' the food tastes, little or no 'msg'. Will definitely go back.

We had a family party and decided to have a take away with different food to share. There were 12 of us so we had a wide range of tastes. The food was excellent and we didn't have to wait too long for it to be ready.

We have lived in Warwick for 18 months now and only just discovered paw paw! The food was fab, ready in 15 minutes on a busy Saturday night - the crispy chilli beef was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

I think the shine has gone from this restaurant. Previous experience was of great quality service and good, reasonably priced. Over a certain value came a free bottle of cheap wine, which was a nice touch.

As a local we have used this take-away many times and it has always been good, however last nights chicken chinese curry was the worst I have ever had anywhere, sloppy sauce, tasteless except for a hint of fat and the portion was small, although plenty of boiled rice.

Visited this Take Away as I had read the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor.Ordered quite a small order that was cooked fresh in front of us. Served piping hot therefore, so was still hot on return to our hotel. Food was plentiful and delicious. The service by counter staff was friendly and efficient, and the order was repeated to me when the cooked food was handed over. Lots of telephone orders taken while I was here so it must have a great reputation.Brilliant establishment. Wish I lived closer. Keep up the good work.

Another takeaway from this fine establishment, fresh quality ingredients freshly cooked while you wait, this does not get better, hot crispy chilli beef, satay chicken, beef chow mein, singapore noodles and rice, just delicious, and great value for money

We tried this as an alternative to our local Chinese takeaway and to be honest the food wasn't quite up to scratch. The takeaway itself is great. You can actually see your food being made which is always a good sign as they clearly have nothing to hide.I think the idea is that the food is a little more healthy than your standard takeaway but to me that shouldn't sacrifice flavour and the food we had (chicken curry, pork chow mein, egg rice) was quite bland. I was quite surprised because the kitchen smelled amazing, so maybe I just had the wrong thing.If you're after a really tasty Chinese takeaway in Warwick, I'd highly recommend you try Ruby on the Chase Meadow estate instead. We've had 6 or 7 from there and it's great every time.

Got a takeaway from here tonight. We ordered the Bamboo and there was lots of food, all of which was very tasty. Normally there is something I don't like but this was all delicious and it was nice to have a couple of dishes which were different from the normal banquet offerings.

First visit on the recommendation of avery helpful guy in the street and he was spot on when he said Paw Paw was quality. Crispy duck was excellent, vegetables perfect and the lemon chicken fresh and tasty. Highly recommended.

brilliant food, always fast and prepared in a clean kitchen in front of you. the yuk sung is served in pancakes but with veg and pork is so nice. everything on there menu if of a high standard. this is English Chinese takeaway cuisine and not traditional but its 10/10

The finest Chinese take away food in Warwick! Every meal we have had from here has been exceptional. The food has a pureness of flavour without the heavy, gloopiness of some Chinese take aways; you feel that all the ingredients are good quality and fresh and the sauces aren't laden with MSG. Highly recommended!!

Whenever I visit family in Warwick, Paw Paw is the take away we all agree on as the food is delicious! Only reason why I wouldn't give this takeaway 'excellent' is I do find it quite pricy for what it is but that would be my only criticism.

Had my second takeaway from Paw Paw the other day, all very good and prompt. The food is very tasty and has lots of flavor. I recommend the Bamboo set meal. Thanks to the team! Oh and the chips are superb!!

This place was a real pleasant surprise. We arrive in Warwick for a weeks stay and decided on Chinese food the first night we were there as we didn't bring much with us and Paw Paw was just across the road. I walked over, not knowing what to expect and found myself stood in the actual kitchen watching all the food being prepared. I gave my order and then watched as they cooked it (along with a stack of other orders that must have been deliveries). The food was ready quickly and I trotted off home.The food we sat down to eat was beautiful and plenty of it. It was a very welcome meal and a great start to our week in Warwick.

We love the place and keep on going back! It is our favourite Friday night takeaway and their pad thai is the best I have ever had! Love it !

I always get my asian food from here its consistant which is important.full marks from me. they are friendly and the price is in line with the quality. Isuppose you get what you pay for.

I've eaten at Paw Paw many times in the past and I've always rated it as one of the best Chinese takeaways! HOWEVER. We ordered a variety of dishes that I've tried before and it was all bland and overcooked. The lowest point of the meal was the hot and sour soup that was less soupey and more sludgey - I couldn't bring myself to even try it - my boyfriend did and it wasn't good. Prawn toast and Satay sauce still nice. Overall seriously disappointed and I wouldn't order from here again - such a shame

They seem very well organised at Paw Paw. Because of the open plan design you can see the chefs at work - not surprised they have a 5 star rating for food hygiene. Food is good & tasty and I liked that they had a discount scheme too. Well priced and efficient service.

We have not used Paw Paw in a while due to the increasing cost on the menu, every time we ordered a takeaway the price had gone up. We ordered once again to give it a try as the food in the past was not bad. Unfortunately we found pricing was high, salt and pepper chicken wings £5.10 for Severn and were dry, over cooked and at best bland. Seafood hamper £12.00... make sure you order one each, two tiny Spring roles, four small pieces of prawn toast each, seaweed was OK, two crab cakes the size of a bottle top that looked and tasted like a hockey puck. The best bit was the squid, it was ok, but for the money no where near enough! We had crispy duck which was as expected and hot crispy chilli beef which was the best dish by far.Would we order again, only if our local Chinese was closed as there food is cheaper, far tastier and delivery is free and faster. A £32.80 order and had to pay £2.50 delivery. Delivery lady was lovely but felt bad not giving her a tip....but at those prices guess she don't get that many :-(

Paw paw is a fantastic Chinese takeaway and they have a restaurant in Banbury if you want to sit in and eat, we don't live in Warwick any longer but if we want a Chinese then we travel and take a keep warm bag with us. Food is fresh and delicious, open plan kitchen so you can see everything being cooked rather then behind a closed door. If you want a fab Chinese take out them look no further!

I don't know what it is about Warwick as even out of the tourist season trying to get a restaurant table is like trying to get a letter from the pope!!!So , whenever I visit my Son it's always a takeaway and this time it was Paw Paw. Great menu, I thought that the pricing was ok , ready in fifteen minutes. Back at my sons unpacking was a joy to the senses, with a bottle of wine and a good movie the meal was excellent. So by default I think we ended up with the right decision, shan't be bothering with the restaurants again. Take heed restauranter's!
