Calzone is big and could be for 2 there's that much

Always really good food, and called recently without booking and was accommodated by the very friendly staff... Although it was very busy, they made every effort to make us feel welcome. The young guy who runs the place is pleasant and attentive. If you have never been to this restaurant, give it a go, the vibe is also good.

Mother's Day was lovely, good food had by us all

Booked last minute and could not fault the service, the atmosphere and the food was even better. Never fails to impress, great plce great food and great value.

Family celebtating a birthday. First time back since covid. On ordering, I specifically asked if the chips were frozen. No sir, was the response, they are like cut thicker, was the reply. The chips had been frozen, were tasteless, uniformed and white. Clearly misled. Shame as the food here was and has been good for years. At one time people celebrating birthdays were made to feel special, no longer the case now, just another punter. Will not be returning as I did not like being misled, If I had a truthful answer I would have choosen a selection of vegetables to compliment my meal. I don't frequent 'restaurants' that provide frozen foods, there are plenty of cheapo places that do that. Shame, apart from that food is very good.

Paulo's food is to die for. In all the times we've gone over the years, I have never once had a bad meal. The staff are always very friendly and attentive, the restaurant is relatively small and cosy giving it a beautiful atmosphere and the fillet steak Diane OMG melts in your mouth. The sister restaurant Setti colli in Hillsborough is just as amazing but Paulo's is right on our door step.

Just had an extremely delicious meal at Paulos. They were very busy but managed to accommodate us. The prices we very reasonable and the service exceptional. Will return soon.

I went out for a meal with some friends on the weekend last week and it was excellent. Both the service and food. Good portions and very tasty.

The food is beautiful every mouthful is a treat and the staff and atmosphere is exceptional they are all very friendly,polite and nothing is too much they exceed expectations every time. We will definitely be returning more often

Took some work friends down to our local restaurant for a meal. The 2 course menu is brilliant value for money and the food is second to none for the area :) Well done Paulos’ team!

I absolutely loved my first visit. Excellent service throughout with every effort made to ensure we enjoyed our meal. The food was fabulous - the chorizo starter was delicious, and so was my pollo diane. I really wanted to try one of the desserts, they looked amazing, but there was no way, far too full! Some of the portions were huge too, remind me not to order the calzone. We will be going back!

Beautiful food and service highly recommend

We go to this restaurant on a regular basis and we are never disappointed. Last time we visited I had Chirozo Pablano for starter was delicious followed by gorgeous Steaks cooked to perfection with a beautiful sauce with added chilli for my heat craving. The restaurant is always buzzing with a good atmosphere and the team ensure you are looked after and never waiting to get more drinks etc. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Great food, great staff, great prices, great night out. Back soon ….

Went in with a large party on Friday the owner wasn’t they and it was just the sh*t show none of the girls had a clue what to do the chefs was rushing, shouting and swearing at each other and the girls and you could hear it from the table next to the bar. When we finely got a main we was dishing a steak dish and the kitchen told girls that it be about two mins for a medium steak 🤣 which came out greasy other then that the night we had was ruined

Gone to Paolos several times over the years but last night was very disappointing. We did a pre order due to large party size and 2 meals were missed off. And the price of non alcoholic drinks were extortionate a large Pepsi £3.95 when the staff were clearly pouring from a 2 litre bottle that's £1.50 at tescos next door is shocking

The food was amazing and the service fantastic. First visit and won’t be our last !! The 2 course midweek menu has loads of choice for a very reasonable price. Had pollo Gorgonzola and it was delicious

Parking is outside on the high street but seems enough space even if you have to walk a bit Pleasant ambience inside Service efficient (note to restaurant, and it's a common thing, but don't march up to a table and start talking over the guests. They know you are there, just give them a couple of seconds to wrap up a conversation)... Food was excellent and fair value - nicely cooked and tasty - well done Another negative im afraid. We don't mind the endless happy birthday songs - it goes with the territory it seems, these days - it's fine But we all really dislike the announcement to us all and the requirement to join in Just let your customers decide

Amazing 5***** we can't recommend this place enough. We've been coming here for years & years and not once have we ever been disappointed. Will however the new young main man has brought this place to another level. Whether t may be a date night, a family occasion or just because you fancy a nice meal just give it a try.. you'll definitely be coming back.

Great restaurant. I have been many times over years. It can get a bit noisy so conversation can be difficult, especially on a weekend. But if you're looking for good food, good hosts, and a lively atmosphere, then this is the place.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere the food and the service was excellent. I really did feel comfortable and felt appreciated for our custom, I definitely be going back there for sure.

Had 3 courses which is unusual for me but the food was so good I couldn't resist. I had Cocktail De Gambas starter, Steak Diane main, Biscoff Cheesecake desert and an original mojito. The Steak was cooked to perfection n melted in my mouth, prawns fresh and succulent but I definitely saved the best until last because the cheesecake was totes amazeballs ❤️ we went at 5:30 on a Monday tea time and I was surprised how busy the restaurant was - when we left at 7.30 the restaurant was full so it's obviously very popular and there's good reason for that. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The only thing I will mention is the service is a little slow - if you're out for the whole evening it doesn't really matter so much but we were just out for tea n I had to ask for my dessert 3 times. I don't think they need more staff necessarily, I just think they need to speed up the table service. There were a few groups in the restaurant and all the tables were full but there wasn't much of an atmosphere. The staff aren't particularly chatty although they were polite and professional. Will definitely return 👍

Came in for a quick bite to eat, service was very fast the girls working there couldn’t do enough to help, chef cooked my steak wonderfully, I had my sauce separate and they accommodated this well, was a wonderful experience, feels like your part of the family here, will visit again !

Arrived 15 mins early we were told to wait with no area allocated for a pre dinner drink and due to there being very little room between tables we stepped outside. The starters were OK however the lasagna was vegetarian as there was no sign off any meat or to be blunt any vegetable for the price paid I felt very disappointed.

A 30th birthday party, excellent food and service.

Great food had by all the party. The fillet steak acapulo is liteterally the best steak I've ever had. Nice spicy king prawns for starters. William was very welcoming and attentive. Definitely worth travelling to this 5 star authentic gem.

Paulos Dinnington is excellent. Me and my wife and family have been to this place on at least 40 occasions over the past 10 years. The food and service are second to none. We always have their succulent steaks as main courses. Cost around £25 each with sauces. We usually also have a starter but that is enough. No more room for anything else. Outstanding. Lovely welcoming atmosphere and extras as we are regulars ie garlic bread/complimentary drinks etc. Cannot praise this place highly enough. Fantastic! Well done All.

We visited on a Saturday evening as a party of 4. It was very busy, but we were seated straightway. The food was lovely and piping hot, very tasty, and a good selection on the menu, the garlic mushroom starter was very nice as were the fajita combo that we had. The staff were friendly and helpful, Not sure whether you'd get around inside if you're in a wheelchair as the tables are quite close together. There is on street parking as well as a nearby car park.

Took the kids here for tea. In the warm weather and doors open it feels like you are on holiday. A real authentic atmosphere and food.

We came here on a busy weeknight and enjoyed the Christmas 3 course menu. The chicken dishes were excellent and we had lovely homemade desserts. Definitely will go back and recommend to everyone.

I’m really not happy at the after service we have received, We were a party of 16, Who all paid a deposit of £10 each, getting the bill at the end turned shambolic and everyone ended up paying separately, I had ordered Gluten free choices...

Had my 60th Birthday here, the restaurant was buzzing with other people and parties which made the whole atmosphere fantastic , the staff were lovely, friendly and very accommodating. The food were amazing, really recommend this place for a fantastic night out and any celebrations

Dinnington has a little gem in the midst of it take aways, barbers and tanning salons. With the up coming bid to revitalise Dinnington's tired Central area Paulo's already sets a high standard that will hopefully be matched if the town gets the right funding. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff make this an incredibly worthy place to visit, a tasty selection of Italian/Mexican cuisine that is reasonably priced and delicious, the home made bread is a nice touch and adds to the charm. A great family run business just waiting for your custom. Looking forward to my next visit.

Googled ‘Italian’s near me’ and Paulos’ came up. Took a chance, and we weren’t disappointed. Food was lovely, ambience of the restaurant was really nice and chilled, staff were very nice and went the extra mile. We even got to wear their Mexican hats. We’d go again :)

We attended on 22.07.22 for a family meal. Interestingly from the outside it is a little unassuming but an Oasis when you enter the doors. A good friendly atmosphere that is a reflection of the team in the restaurant. We ordered a selection of dishes...

Situated on Laughton Rd (I’ve always called it Dinnington high street!). There were four of us and for Starters we shared mushrooms cooked with garlic, white wine & parsley plus some garlic bread picante. For or Mains we had Pollo Crema, Calzone Carne, Vegetarian pancake...

Absolutely gorgeous food for everyone! We came for my mums birthday and there was 7 of us and we all could fault any of the food. It was delicious and so fresh tasting.
