Lovely wee restaurant with welcoming atmosphere & staff. Food was lovely. Bring your own booze was great & you can also order some from them too Would be a brilliant venue for a party to book. Service was prompt & very amiable. Toilet adequate but could do with a refurbishment. Also has a brilliant deli counter many great Italian foodstuffs & drinks to buy.

We had lobster ravioli and pasta. The sauce’s bland, portion’s not filling at all. Feels like it’s just overrated.

We've been visiting pasta plus for years now and it is our FAVOURITE place to eat out in Aberdeen. You won't get nicer or more authentic Italian food in Aberdeen. This lil spot in Rosemount is a hidden gem that is a MUST try. The smaller space and more rustic deli look only adds to its charm. We've been here as a couple, taken family, for special occasions and it's always a spot we bring friends who are visiting Aberdeen too. We've never been disappointed and you will always get attentive service and delicious food. A special shout out to Chris who is always so welcoming and accommodating. The bruschetta & caprese salad starters are firm favourites of ours and probably the tastiest we've ever had of each dish (including ones we've had in Italy). Anything us or our guests have tried has always gone down well with a special shout out to the specials board with some incredible pasta dishes that are seasoned to perfection. It would be a crime to not end the meal with the delicious homemade Tiramisu (and perhaps a lil Limoncello) which is absolutely divine and something we often also pick up as a takeaway to enjoy at home too when we walk past and the moment strikes. A lil added bonus is being able to take your own bottle with just a small corkage fee but they do offer a nice selection of drinks that can be purchased directly. Always kept nice and chilled. These small indie, family run businesses are so few and far between in Aberdeen so we truly are lucky to have such a fantastic offering nearby. I urge anyone reading to consider a visit here instead of the bigger chains. You will not be disappointed.

Coziest place I've been to in Aberdeen (despite struggling to keep the cold out). I'd walk in here just to have a look around with the cupboards full of figurines, old fozographs and alike but great food and personable service is also there. Definitely will be back!

I shopped at the Italian delicatessen part of the restaurant. It was well stocked with cheeses and deli meats. I got mozzarella, burrata, guanciale, pepperoni, Mutti sauce and a few cannoli for desert of course. Perfect if you have an Ooni pizza oven and want to buy level-up toppings for your pizza 😉

Very friendly place, food was made from scratch and to order so it was very fresh. The menu isn't too complicated but there are specials on offer. There is also a small shop area to buy products. Although it isn't very big it doesn't take away from the authentic experience and I would recommend anyone to visit.

Have been there a few times. It was very quiet just three tables but food was good as always. Staff always friendly, would reccomend.

Amazing wee place. Cosy little cafe with fantastic pasta and starters. No pretence like other places. You go in for a great bowl of food and do not leave with a critically injured wallet. Very authentic. Look forward to reciting the whole menu throughout the rest of the year. They do takeaway also which is a big bonus.

Just had the most ridiculous delicious cheap Italian meal ever. Very small family run restaurant deli. Please don’t let the look put you off. The food here is outrageously good. Simple but well cooked and the best flavours I have eaten in a long time. Please try it if in the area. It’s worth the 10 minute walk from the centre of town. I will be back.

Popped in for some deli items - Guanciale and Pecorino to make an authentic Carbonara at home. The service was great, the owner was very friendly and full of advice. I'll be going back to try the food next time. Let's support our local high street businesses during these tough times, all protocols were followed.

We ordered a few different pizzas for takeaway and were amazed with both taste and quality! Would definitely recommend for takeaways fro a night in, over any other place in Aberdeen. The restaurant looks very authentic with a lot of Italian decor, unfortunately due to the lockdown we couldn’t eat there.

I have just had the most delicious bruschetta and ravioli (scallop and prawn) from Pasta Plus. My best lockdown meal yet - could devour it all over again. Many thanks to Pasta Plus!

Looks so understated from the outside but this little down to earth cafe/restaurant/deli really delivers. Not the most extensive menu but what they serve is top quality and amazing value.

Tuvimos un almuerzo maravilloso aquí el sábado. El tortellini ai porcini fue genial con una deliciosa salsa y la pasta a base de salchicha de mi esposa también se disfrutó. Recomiendo los Tiramis y disfruté de un buen vaso de Montepulciano d’abruzzo con un café encantador para terminar. El restaurante / tienda tiene un ambiente muy auténtico, dirigido por un propietario muy agradable.

Went in with my other half on a Friday night. Great service and the food was fantastic. The Lobster Raviolli was divine and the freshly made Tiramisu was a highlight! Will continue to come back whenever in Rosemount. An absolute gem!

Gran pequeña cafetería, restaurante de delicatessen, no un establecimiento elegante, pero excelente comida con un ambiente agradable y cálido, el camarero del chef fue eficiente, educado y acogedor. No hay muchas mesas, por lo tanto, si lo que busca es mejor reservar con antelación. Recomendaría esta cafetería / restaurante a familiares y amigos.

We come here a lot for our coupley evening meals. The pasta is fantastic. With a vast selection. The wine list is of great quality too. The owners run the place themselves. I always feel like I’m being transported to a cafe in Italy, the owners are so friendly. An authentic Italian, you can’t go wrong. We will always be back.

Enjoyed a delicious meal. The service was 1st class from very pleasant waiters and waitresses. The starters and main courses were excellent. Generous portions, so some of us couldn't manage a pudding. However two of us had ice cream to finish and that was very good. I would definitely recommend eating here.

This small restaurant is big on flavour. Quick service and an excellet choice of favourites and something for the more adventurous diners. Authentic taste just like Italy with pasta cooked properly. I read on T/A about the Tiramisu and we were not disappointed. Fantastic. Good coffee. Spotless place .Just a pity about the decor and clutter. More a cafe than a restaurant but the food was excellent.

Five Ladies chose to have a Thursday night get together and booked Pasta Plus, we all had Bruschetta to start sharing a tomato and cheese dish, lovely and simple full of flavour. We chose different mains a couple from the specials board and all seemed to enjoy, had been looking forward to my Tiramisu but there was none till tomorrow so went for the Limoncello, light and refreshing. 1 coffee, 1 bottle of wine and the bill was under £100, will certainly be back - well, I have to have my tiramisu ;) This is a small restaurant with a handful of tables so wise to book and look forward to the father and son care you will get.

Had a lovely leisurely lunch at Pasta Plus with my daughter. This place is not fine dining & the surroundings are very rustic but this was our second visit & we love it! The bruschetta is the most flavoursome we've had, the bread delicious, the La Marinara scrumptious & the Tiramisu divine. The owner is a really pleasant gentleman who cooks everything fresh & evidently takes pride in providing tasty, traditional Italian food I can imagine he grew up on. If you are expecting a posh Italian meal to impress your date perhaps this isn't the place to go. Although, having said that it's open in the evening & with a candle on the table & a nice bottle of wine I'd be more than happy if I were with Mr Right! If you want to experience delicious flavours in a quaint, down to earth wee place then give it a try. It's not cheap (£14.95 for the Marinara) but I'm happy to pay this for tasty, fresh food cooked with care.) Two very happy tummies & we look forward to our third visit!

This place is small and homely, and very welcoming. Whilst waiting for your food you can look around at all of the bits and bobs in the place - ok, it's not pristine and perfectly designed, but in my opinion I think that makes this place even more attractive - you feel like you're welcomed into their home. The food was great, and the father and son team are obviously passionate about what they do. The only downer on our trip was that they had ran out of tiramisu. I nearly cried!100% would return. Not necessarily the place to take if you want to impress a new boss, but for homely food with friends in a relaxed atmosphere, it's hard to beat.

Warm welcome and friendly service.Food very good, above average, and tasty. Has atmosphere and appeal due to all the 'stuff' that inhabits the interior. As other reviewers have said, a good deep clean and fresher impact is needed. It is scruffy but don't let that deter you.That said, go for it. We had a good meal in pleasant surroundings, and felt we had had a decent evening.Tiara and tails probably not the dress code!

This is probably a close as you will get to an Italian trattorie in Aberdeen possibly Scotland , I'm no expert in Italian cuisine but the pasta tasted fresh and had an authentic Italian home cooking (in a pleasant way ) taste about it. The owner is a real gentleman, they have a selection of Italian drinks such as bitters you would be hard pressed to find outside of Italy it was quite nice trying a few of them out also a good selection at the deli counter. The food was great on every occasion I visited and the service down to earth friendly and attentive. Seems like a small family business with a nice neighbourhood vibe. Also the espresso was excellent. Some might require more comfort and pomp for their dinning experience but go here for the food and traditional cafe style vibe you wont be disappointed. The business seems likes it been here for years unlike a lot of the new over priced competitors trying to cash in on a similar market who neither have the charm of the earthy friendliness of this place. Let alone culinary delight.

Visited with a group of 10 friends for a long overdue catch up. As ever the food was fresh & tasty - huge portions, plenty of choice & excellent value for money. It's not a fancy place, but you get good food for a sensible price, and don't get rammed in with the masses. We'll be back. Again!

Took my girlfriend here for Valentine's Day then took my friends a month after, Francesco looked after us everytime. Very homely little resteraunt run by a very sweet Italian man and his son. Would recommend to everybody who's in the area, not to be overlooked.

A hidden gem indeed.As I looked across from the Queen Vic I underestimated this wee rustic, traditional Italian place.I dined with friends and we enjoyed beautiful pasta, seafood and banter with the owner, Francesco. Don't walk past it.

Cannot get over how good the food is here. Been a few times over the last few months and it never fails to please. Simple but perfect pasta dishes, with delicious deli meats to start off is hard to beat. Its interior and frontage are unassuming but do not be put off this is better than any Italian restaurant in Aberdeen by far. The seafood pasta specials are fantastic.

Pasta plus is a small and intimate dinning experience. A friendly Italian father-son team serve very tasty Italian food in a small hidden rustic gem on Rosemount Street. The pasta was fresh, the service very warm, and the home made tiramisu delicious. What more can you ask for!

Perfect Italian in town without the snobbiness of a posh restaurant! Always a great meal and wine each time in a relaxing environment. Highly recommended to anyone in town for lunch or evening dinner. We even ate there on Christmas eve! Father and Son work well together and would rather eat here than in some chain pub. Love it :)

When we arrived we were enthusiastic for the location.It remembers a proper Italian "trattoria" adorned with typical images and food maps.Fine quality products were exposed in the restaurant and the lovely owner welcomed us as friends. His amazing son (the chef) uses exactly these original Italian ingredients for his cooking. I have to say that it is really difficult that it happens in a restaurant, even if the place shows an Italian brand..However, we asked for two dishes: gnocchi with gorgonzola and gnocchi with ragú.Both dishes were delicious, perfectly cooked and well tasty.We also had a Caprese which was seasoned with original extra virgin olive oil and Italian mozzarella.The wine was great as well and the price really cheap comparing with the high quality food.We found a splendid place to stay, incredibly welcoming, with lovely food to savor and splendid people to chat with.

I was searching for a restaurant for dinner that was near my hotel, and by chance I stumbled upon Pasta Plus. It was my lucky day. It might not look like much from the outside, but inside it is magic. I had linguine carbonara which was simple but excellently prepared. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere very authentic Italian. Clearly the owners take great pride in serving genuine Italian dishes at low prices.

It's a simple Italian restaurant with a quirky interior and a certain homely appeal. Ok, so the pasta and gnocchi may not be handmade but the food is reasonably priced for Aberdeen, tasty and freshly cooked to order. And this place excels at coffee and the homemade tiramisu - best dessert I've ever had at an Italian restaurant outside of Italy.

This place is a hidden diamond. Over a period of 15 years I have been with my family now and again but often forget about it when trying to think of somewhere to go. I am so glad pasta is one of my daughters favourite foods as she is the one that reminds us how fantastic this place is. Having a craving for Italian food, my wife found this place via TripAdvisor reviews. On the outside, it's a unassuming and when we visited it wasn't crowded (well after normal lunch hour). On the inside, it's an Italian food store that also happens to have a few tables available as a restaurant. The elderly gentleman running the place was very amiable and provided recommendations. He steered us away from his own printed menu in favor of his daily specials, citing that his printed menu items are mostly made from dried pasta and his specials were fresh. Plus, his daily specials were a little less expensive overall. Out table was next to the small kitchen so we were able to watch him prepare our meals. We both decided to try his ham and cheese tortellini. The pasta was served with a simple marinara, and the portion was a little above average. Though visually simple, the meal itself was full of flavor and texture.If I lived in the area, I'd definitely frequent Pasta Plus not only for the food but also for the conversations that the old gentleman could probably share.

Food was very average but it was the service we found the most disappointing.Arrived at the restaurant to a member of staff smoking cigarettes at the front door and blowing smoke in our direction. He always rushed our service to go for another cig.Won't be returning.

I think these days we are so used to going to big chain restaurants and eating what is pretty average food . I needed a quick dinner for me and the kids and found this little gem , yes it's not pretty from the outside and it's not all minimal and spotless inside but forget all that this quite simply serves some of the best Italian food you can get , refreshing to get authentic fresh food and the device was also first class , will certainly be back any time I'm in Aberdeen , great to see a small family run business out stripping the big chains by miles

The entrance doesn't look very "nice", but inside it is 100% Italian. Very nice Italien pasta. Everything home made and freshly cooked in the back.
