Pasam Restaurant in Redbridge

I have been there few times in last 5 weeks. good tasty food. the sauce is very good. I recommend this place.

So pleased to find this restaurant open at 11.40pm,Quite a few people in restaurant which was a good sign,Out came starter of pitta bread with that lovely red sauce on it cooked to perfection,Accompanied by chilli sauce, yoghurt & houmous oh dear I could have filled might self up before my main dish, it was so tasty,But fortunately my chicken shish came out to stop me breaking out,Lovely large rectangular plate with a great healthy portion of chicken cooked really well & a lovely assortment salad & very tasty rice Faultless,Oh deliciousness!I certainly will come back here,I thoroughly recommend this place,It’s a munch emporium

Food was very good m, there are far better Turkish restaurants in the area or just a little away in north London.

I have been many times to Pasam. The service is just the best. A restaurant where it makes you feel like you’re at home. So welcoming and so attentive. The food is so so good from the hot and cold mezes to the mains. The meat is grizzle and free from the chewy cheap cuts you get in other restaurants especially the red meat. Value for money indeed We were 3 and the bill was a mere £25!

Hi I’m very sad to say I have ordered yesterday via just eat. And it’s end up terrible food poisoning symptoms. Whole night was vomiting and Really bad. Not recommended this place food. I have ordered sucuk, lamb chops, king prawns.

My second time to Pasam for take away and yet again very rude service. Considering there was no queue I expected better but instead my group were rushed to order and the staff were very rude and full of attitude. I do not recommend Pasam at all. The food is let down massively by the staff and their poor mannerism.

They accept only cash. Food is very salty. Service is ok. Reasonable price. less space. Food quantity is fine.

Went there to eat with my family, poor service lady who was servicing us was very rude and abrupt. They took the wrong the order and then was arguing about how she was right and the customer is wrong. Advise to management change that lady! And train your staff on good customer service. Food was average.

Although I like the food, and I only ever get takeaway, I'm always apprehensive about ordering as the male staff are always a bit pervy or sexist. I sometimes avoid going for periods of time as I know they will say something inappropriate.For example they will say, "anything for you pretty lady", or if asking to use the toilet, they will reply, "only if you smile". Would they say the same to a male customer, of course not. All you want is food and you're hungry and you're a customer and a human being and NOT to be objectified, it becomes tiresome. I won't be returning until the staff have adequate training.

Im still in shock after dinner there . We order sharing menu but we took more than half to home when i saw this piramid of meat on big plate ... i was speachless . Hummus, tzaziki, grilled aubergine , cuscus salad , hot naan, great lamb chops... . Dios Mioooo !!! Seriously ??? First time i dont have any complains .

Don't be misled by the size of this place. It is small and cosy, lots of room inside and they offer take away or eat in. Definitely worth eating in as the staff are really nice and friendly. I wish the sizes were smaller as I always end up taking half my meal away with me, though not a bad thing as I get to savour the taste twice.

I've been there today with friends for lunch. We ordered pasam 3 platter and we didn't get lamb ribs but instead we got chops and chicken wings. The waitress didn't let us know about the change even when the food arrived on the table. We asked about ribs and she said they don't have it at the moment and start raising her voice that is not her fault . The manager didn't come in the discussion until we had a real fight with the waitress which was very rude and start shouting to us many times. She starts saying we are stupid and she has problems with our kind , she said that she will not " kiss our us " and she can talk however she wants . The manager didn't stop her and everything was just a big mess. They made a discount for 3 pounds or something like this but doesn't help at all because the way she was acting . We will not be coming back !! I do not recommend to anybody .

So so good. Fantastic value. Order the Pasam 1 for enough food for 3-4 for 17.95! Amazingly tasty food. I pride myself as a foodie and this place is seriously legit. Great homemade hummus as a starter and lamb that you can cut with a dull fork. Stop reading and Go!

Where do I start. I went to the restaurant to open my fast with my family. They didn't have 2 of the items we wanted on the order. I asked for a jug of water, instead I got 5 glasses of water because they didn't have a jug. I settled for a chicken shish with traditional Turkish rice, which turned out to be just boiled rice. My son ordered Lamb shish which was so rubbery that he had to spit it out, my wife ordered the halloumi burger, which ended up being an overcooked potatoes and halloumi burger that was not at all edible. Me and my son both ordered chips with our meals and the chips arrived in a 'single' plate and we were told that we could share as its a large portion.When we complained about the quality of the burger the manager just said he was sorry and that he'd make another one, but by this time my wife had shared our meals and eaten the chips so we refused the offer to make it again. When we asked for the bill, I queried the fact that we had been charged for the burger when we had not eaten it and that it wasn't to our satisfaction. He said that we had to pay for it. I then reminded him that the law states that if we are dissatisfied with the meal we don't have to pay for it. He said that he was aware of this but as we had eaten the chips that came with the meal we had to pay for it. I then said:"so you are aware of the law but you still want to charge us?" to which he replied "yes".I could have refused to pay for the whole meal and get them to call the police, but as I was with my family and it was late, I just said "okay, I won't be eating here again". I paid and left. My daughter made the right choice who was also with us. She said she wasn't really hungry and didn't order anything other than a Fanta.My advice - AVOID!

I went to eat there last night with freinds to begin with only one person taking orders then when he got around doing so after 40m service was quick we ordered a platter meat seemed off lamb Donner Meat was old and hard to bite we ordered drinks and wanted tap water apparently they can't provide tap water as soon I paid the bill is had to go toilet with an upset stomach would not go again neither recommend it to anyone

This was the old kebab place everyone used to go before/after night out at Faces. Got a refurb & now its a family turkish restaurant. Totally revamped. Great value for money & fresh food. Great platters & turkish cuisine. Love it!

Just popped in to get 3 large doner kebabs (to take out) at a good price I thought (£6.00 each). Didn't get what I expected. Received a tiny amount of salad with meat and chips in a carton and no pitta! Very disappointed. I didn't think that half the carton would be taken by chips or that the salad would be so small.

Visited Pasam for the first time, the food was delicious and the service was spot on. Generous portions and a wide range of Turkish food. Most of all it is great value for money. Definitely would go back.

Had a lovely meal out with my husband and two kiddies (3yrs and 8months old) The food was delicious. Lovely flavour and very tasty. The service was great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Defo a new favourite Turkish spot for us

Best restaurant in Gants Hill! Delicious fresh food served quickly. Friendly staff eager to please. Kleftico was melt in the mouth, vegetarian baked stuffed aubergine was very tasty. Mixed mezes sooo fresh. Wow! Definitely returning!

We have been there several times since it reopened. The lamb shish is the best!! Food overall is really good, great portions, usually a couple of starters on the house. Good prices. Good red wine. Nice friendly staff. Cant fault it!!

we arrived at our hotel late Saturday evening and we were hungry but not starving, long journey down from Lancashire being fueled with sweets, crisps and drinks, so we decided to check out the local area and it's filled with a large variety of eating establishments, but we decided to go here and try some dishes, small plates of food, mezze I think they called it, got to say the small plates were crammed with food, I particularly enjoyed the fried lambs liver and the Turkish sausage, with the bread and tzatzik, washed down with Turkish beer, the food and service were excellent. Well worth a visitReviewed by a top chef who can be critical but absolutely no complaints from me especially when the bill was very reasonable too........!!

Website and paper menu state that they take cash and card, that they deliver via hungry house...all not true. Only take cash.Positives are that it is a very pretty restuarant. Food is just ok. Very friendly. Pasam specials are good value.Negatives. Woeful ventilation system (u will reek of bbq smoke when you leave the restaurant) Tip: if ordering a take wait outside unless BBQ smoke is one of your preferences on attire. Very mean/small portions of turkish bread given (for takeaways). Not cheap (Pasam specials however are good value). Very friendly but service ironically was not great

Went there for dinner with few friends. They took our orders, our sever was friendly but she messed up orders, some of the things arrived late, some didnt and we got something that we didnt ask for. Food was good though and portion sizes were lovely. They just had one high chair and we needed 3. The place is not well equipped for kids at the moment.

The food at this place is good. Tasty and adequately priced. However we arrived with a large group, three families with kids. They only had one high chair so one of the children had to sit in someone's lap throughout the dinner. Then they served us water in a jug that was cracked. When we asked to replace it they said they didn't have any more jugs. To add to the misery they forgot our orders and mixed up items.If the service is improved this place has some really good potential as the food is great. Otherwise it's only good for a lads night out where service is not necessarily and issue.

So we've been here a few times since February '16... Just to see if the last bad experience was a one off, but unfortunately we won't be going back anytime soon. It is a shame because the food is actually pretty good.First experience: Family dinner. They forgot my mains.Second experience: Service was awful. They completely forgot all of our starters. They then served our mains, and tried to serve us our starters afterwards. My rice was cold, I informed the waitress and was asked if I was sure if it was cold. She then walked off with no follow-up.A few drunk men walked in off the street and were allowed to use the toilet. They could barely stand and walking into tables (shocking).Third (and last experience): The restaurant made a menu change?? But what it appeared to be was we paid more for the same dish, and they didn't serve with rice. So you had to order as a side. Again service wasn't great.If you don't mind eating in a restaurant that feels like a take-away kebab shop, with poor service, and paying premium prices. Then we would recommend.

Beautiful Turkish mixed grill and chicken wings. Chicken wings marinated, delicious. The mixed combination we had was lamb and chicken shish. We saw them make it fresh on the grill, we were served quickly. Staff were very good. The biggest plus was they accepted Tastecard. Great value and high quality of food. There is kassabi and serene around the corner but this is our favourite!

Keebabs were tastey and fresh. It was good service and food was prepared promptly. Will recommend a return visit for sure. They were happy to accept taste card to.

Last night visited Pasam Restaurant, lovely food, sauces and complimentary starters were out of this world, however what let me down is that portions were 30% smaller than other restaurants with the same price tag, as well as no Turkish tea....that was surprise...almost all restaurants provide Turkish tea... As per the food, only one complaint sis Kebab were little bit salty, but for food I am happy to give 9/10.........for over all value for money ....well large gathering its better to go to Ksabah, Sultan or Vazir which are short walk away.

Resturant put restriction on menu for taste card customers so all menu is not available for taste card and normally all turkish resturant provide free turkish tea but they charged full amount for tea. When asked they replied it is not free for taste card cuatomers. Tea wasn't taste like turkish so my wife hasn't touched her one but they still charged £1.50 for each tiny cup of tea.Portions of the food was smaller compare to price but taste was alright.So overall as a tastecard customer we have been treated cheaply which they shouldn't. We have paid for the tastecard, so if the resturant take tastecard then they should treat all customer same way.
