Excellent food and service. Highly recommend 👍

Perfect small and intimate restaurant for a date night although there were tables of friends. The food was really good especially the lamb dansak, the lamb was so tender and you could taste so many flavours not just the heat of a curry. Had a good kick to it as well. First time dining here, we will definitely be back.

Went here for the first on Friday evening, and it is brilliant! Staff are lovely, and the food is gorgeous. I will absolutely be going back soon.

I have never left a bad review for a restaurant before but I am frustrated with the service we had this evening at Parivaar. My colleague had booked a table for 8 people but the staff were very adamant and rather rude that it was for 6 people. I suggested they just add the unreserved table next to us onto our table to make it an 8 and they seemed very reluctant about doing this. The staff especially the woman who appeared to be in charge and had the best English was rather rude and dismissive, like we were a huge inconvenience to her. My colleague even asked her how hot a specific curry was and the staff member huffed and asked “well what do you mean by hot?”. They didn’t even come and take our drink order which I found so strange, we just had to call over to the bar what we wanted which was unprofessional and meant people on the table got missed. The food took quite a while to get to us even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at this point. My main curry was lovely but the poppadoms were stale and the starter was cold and tasteless. When the bill came we started to work out how much we owed and were going to leave a small tip. However my colleague looked at the bill and was shocked to see they had added their own service charge tip of £21.68!! It meant we all had to pay an extra £4 which was ridiculous when the “service” had been so poor. I won’t be going there again, and I hope the staff acknowledge these recent reviews about their customer service skills.

Will never go back here again. It was my first time and will definitely be my last! Service was dreadful, no smiles and it was almost like we’re were an inconvenience for them by just being there. It is the most unwelcoming restaurant I have ever been to. There were 14 of us and we were told to preorder with that many people! Food had barely any flavour. The best part about the meal was the naan bread. They charge £2 per glass corkage (as you have to take your own wine/beer) which is fair enough. We ordered a tray of chutneys, one for me and one for my husband and others had ordered separate chutneys and onions, but instead of bringing what we had ordered they just brought 3 trays of chutneys between 14 people but still charged us for everyone’s individual chutney and onion orders at 80p per chutney as not everyone wanted the whole chutney tray. After we had finished our meal they started clearing up around us removing the table cloth pieces while we were still sat there, then proceeded to ask us to leave so another group could be seated, so we felt like we were being kicked out. All in all not a positive experience, and the worst service I received in a very long time. Will definitely not be going back and if you want to be made to feel welcome don’t bother going here! Very disappointed.

The best Indian/Asian food around. Our go to place for quality food. Prefer to takeaway as restaurant quite small and if your in a couple quiet noisy. Although if your going out in a large group I imagine would be ideal. You can bring your own booze too.

We loved this place in the past but unfortunately my experience to night has lowered my love of the place. The food standard has dropped a little from the past experience, the Biryan rice was extremely spicy for a medium dish and the service was rushed and not to friendly. I do understand it was a busy night in there and the restaurant is tightly packed. I was very disappointed to see an automatic service charge of 10% applied to our bill even though we were only two people. We hadn't even asked for the bill, it was just placed on the table without a word of asking how our meal was. Still the best Indian in the area but maybe that says more about it's competitors than the lowering standards of this previously well loved restaurant.

Called and ordered a takeaway, don’t get me wrong food was lovely however there does not seem to be a reduced cost for a takeaway which is unusual. Come on 40 quid for a takeaway for two is not justified in my book regardless of how nice the food is.

Quiet Tuesday evening gathering. Nice clean restaurant, staff very cheerful and engaging. Food was tasty and adequate portions, no long waits between courses.

We went as a group of 17 for a colleagues retirement do. Service was really good and the food was incredible, probably the nicest curry I’ve ever had. The Roshun Chilli Chicken and Indian chips👌🏻

Didn't realise it was 2018 when we last reviewed Parivaar hence about time we updated. Visited on a Friday night on a rare 'no child' night and did not disappoint. Nothing has changed (that is good) as exceptional food and lovely service by family members. Probably repeating myself although the specials are fab although if you want traditional that's there as well. Always need to visit the cash machine as we never have a penny although not a problem and balanced by the bring your own alcohol as halves the cost compared to others and you choose what you like. We know the owners from here and the sister restaurant Quay Fine Dining which has just reopened after their unfortunate fire and always nice to have a chat and discuss respective families. Always struggle with the food as I like it all although when we visited in the summer my wife's dish had run out but the chef came out personally to discuss alternatives and made her a similar bespoke dish which she really enjoyed. My favourite Indian restaurant is and has always been Cafe Spice Namaste in London although this is a very close second and on our doorstep! Thanks all. We will be back soon.

It was not a planned visit, rather I needed to eat. And I can say that I would definitely be back when in Mold. Bring your own booze and soft drinks available in the restaurant. Cannot fault it Easy access with a car park across the road.

Until you go, there's nothing any reviews could say about this place that would want to make you go. Fantastic staff, fantastic food and a great atmosphere all round. It's small but might which in mold seems to be how you can have a fantastic night out. I can wait to visit again the food is some of the best in the area. Very happy all round. A fantastic night here and highly recommended.

We noticed this place the other night on our way to Deadwood; saw it was full so decided to give it a try. We'd booked for 5.30 but due to A55 traffic didn't get there til 6 (we did let them know). Can't fault anything; from the amazing servers, the superb food, and the BYOB made a big difference. We came from Chester but will definitely be coming back. Chicken Jalfrezi and Tandoori mixed grill.

We went tonight and were delighted with everything. The service was excellent and the food was faultless and I don’t remember feeling so satisfied with the total experience of a restaurant in a long time. I had the mixed starter and shared it -delicious! The chicken jalfrezi was fresh and perfectly spiced. Loved we could take our own wine. Bought gift cards for friends and they will be thrilled! What a little gem!

As usual the food was excellent and the service was second to none our group all enjoyed our monthly visit

Absolutely loved the food - ate chicken jalfrezi, which was absolutely authentic in how it was made and their garlic butter naan was fantastic. The team looks really good too - we were there till closing time, and the chef came out and helped the staff to clear up - it was nice to see and I will definitely visit again.

This passionate family run business served some amazing food with a very friendly atmosphere, the owner and chef talked of his experience at the golf open which is the reason for our visit! I highly recommend the food.

My wife and I have just had one of the best meals ever! She had chicken shashlik which was excellent and plenty of it. Superb flavours! My Labobdar was a paradox of both slightly sweet and hot dish! And once again, absolutely delicious. Excellent service. We will definately visit again!

First time at the parivaar, won't be the last. Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Menu very informative for all dishes, staff welcoming and friendly, Best Indian Restaurant we have been too & we have been too quite a few!😀 We didn't have anything too overpowering, but the spices certainly hit the taste buds, 10/10 highly recommend a visit or takeaway. Loved it.

Tremendous atmosphere, the restaurant was full and no drunkenness as you must bring you alcohol(corkage fee). The food was so tasty, I’d talk of depth of flavours - running from the popadoms cum chutney tray through the naans, delicious tarka daal and the main was divine;we both had murug lababdor. The only disappointment was the samosas which were a little greasy and lacked real flavour. Whatever, we’ll be back!

Someone told me they had a 2 star rating for hygiene, I went this evening knowing the food is good,you can see in to kitchen, it looks impeccably clean,I also noticed 2 ladies cleaning the place with cleaning product and clothes,so I can honestly say it's impeccably clean.....maybe some paperwork isn't right,for me I will carry on using ,happy that it meets requirements, 5 star...

Walked in for the first time, with no booking the staff made us very welcome, and put us at ease. Talked about the food and ordered without the menu. Food was fabulous and very well priced only £24, for two, with soft drinks 👌

A standard and very tasty tec awe. Quite a selected menu with a few less common dishes along with the usual choices. Quality and tasty takeaway and restaurant. Only had takeaway so far but look forward to dine-in at some point.

I can't fault the food it's the very best around. I would like to eat in the restaurant but find it very noisy and off putting although I'm sure it doesn't bother many others as it's almost always full. I spoke to the owner and they are aware of this and are going to address the problem soon. 5stars.

A treasure in Mold. Excellent food and friendly staff. A lovely family run Indian restaurant. No alcohol sold, just soft drinks, but you can bring your own. Very reasonable prices, and it may sound daft, but try the 'Indian chips', seriously, they are delicious!

Our first visit to Parivaar but it was worth the effort, the service was friendly and the food flavoursome. As it was a Wednesday we didn't book a table ( big mistake ) as this is a popular busy place. I will book next time!!

Top quality establishment. Absolutely superb! Friendly front counter staff great chef hidden away somewhere out back. Noisy full of chat and laughter and I swear I heard mmmm mmm mmmmms coming from all directions. I'll be going back there for sure!

Fantastic Indian food. Eat in or take away. Portion size is small but the flavour is always amazing. As of 2023 still as fantastic as ever.

Excellent curry. Probably the best curry restaurant and takeaway in North Wales. Authentic and incredibly tasty. Also not overpriced. The family who run it also seem lovely whenever you go in.

We booked our table for a two hour 'slot'. Its bring your own alcohol at £2 pp, soft drinks can be purchased. Great menu..the Indian chips were a real treat. Pleanty of choice, Well presented food, delicious tastes.. friendly staff..a great couple of hours out. It was a packed night, which added to the 'Party' atmosphere.

A fabulous find tucked down a side street in. Mold. A very small restaurant that punches far above its weight. Modern chic decor, exciting menu, excellent staff, and the most wonderful food. You can taste every ingredient. Absolutely first class. Very busy, so make sure you book first, and it's cash only, and bring your own alcohol. Highly recommended.

Make sure you book as it gets quite busy. Food was nice with a good selection. Only negative was being a small building, it was rather loud and difficult to hold conversation around the table.

Exquisite Bangladeshi food. Great prices. Efficient and super friendly service. Not licensed but you can buy your beer and wine from the Wetherspoons next door. Small charge for corkage. Highly recommended. A real gem of a restaurant.

This place is cash only and you take your own alcohol. But that does not detract at all in any way. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Good, quick service. I would definitely recommend and I will be returning.

A usually well regarded Indian, we used them for a NYE meal last night following a bit of a tradition. Unfortunately at times in the past on big orders they have forgotten a main but the service and quality has meant we have forgiven it...

Ordered takeaway from here this evening and am so disappointed. I used to love this place but tonight our sundries were cold and rock solid and samosas were almost empty and cold. Clearly our food had been reheated multiple times.

Have had a take away from the Parivar a few times in the past, always been very good, except tonight was a big disappointment. We ordered onion bhaji starter, they were stone cold and hard as rock. Our main was a chicken tikka rogan josh, very insipid no taste, everything else was fine, admittedly they were very busy but no excuse, will give a miss for a while.

Never made a negative review before but felt I needed to. We made a booking on the website by sending an email under 'make a reservation', as we were going to be celebrating a special occasion. We hadn't received a reply so phoned them to...

Extremely disappointed… I will start with the only good point, the chicken tikka in the korma was good quality… when we arrived home they had missed the two chutney trays from the order, obviously this meant the 6 popadoms and mixed starter was dry and unwanted. The mixed starter was tiny and over priced and the chicken chat was small and tasteless. The two other mains had very little lamb and was watery, also we noticed all curry had no pieces of vegetables, everything was cooked off a basic (gravy). Very expensive for poor mediocre food. I called to explain they had missed off the chutney trays and the manager said we will give you them next time, after a debate and saying that’s not the best as the starters where ruined there was no further suggestions. We eat Indian - Asian food regularly from all over the country and this is poor, we have had some of the food and thrown the rest as it was just sauce and very little meat… I would not bother going to this restaurant again also it’s cash only and no receipt handed out this restaurant should be investigated. Avoid!!!!

Food incredible - service much improvement required Waited over ten minutes to even be asked if we wanted a drink before deciding to go and speak to the waitress myself, forgotten about constantly throughout the meal as a restaurant guest, having to go out of your way to have to ask for service… there were only three tables to be served but the restaurant were too focussed on take away and delivery orders. Have someone dedicated to restaurant customers, your food is great but the service is not what I expect for the prices you pay.

Second visit cash only can’t think why I had the receipt taken off me ,portions miserable for cost £20+ per person , 1 chutney tray for 6 ,had to add salt to rice ,thank goodness ordered naan bread or would still be hungry. We are tourists from Scotland who regularly eat out weekly at our local Indian restaurant and have left overs to take home for less cost. We don’t drink alcohol no clouded opinion and struggling to see why this is 4.7 on Google reviews we travel to Mold regularly we won’t be back.Photo of Flint Castle just in case you don't believe this is real review.

Great food, great atmosphere but they don’t let you pay by card so make sure you bring enough cash. They should have a card machine for the convenience of their customers.

Went to a 50th Birthday party and it was fantastic, excellent food and service would recommend to anyone well worth a visit looking forward to going back soon

Amazing food and imo, the best Indian in Flintshire. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, always on time (if collecting). My recommendation is the chicken chaat (starter) with chicken tikka masala, pilau rice, bombay aloo and peshwari naan (main) Love it here.
