Absolutely awful pizza. Waited 2 hours for 2 pizzas and they were stone cold and all doh no flavour. Absolutely awful. Never again

Bro said we’ll get our pizza soon as there was no chicken on the pizza where we asked for chicken to be added. Called them back and it said it’s closed. I expect a full refund and/or a full order replacement.

Pretty bad honestly - I paid extra for the cheese on the bottom, but very much not worth it. Cheesy bites weren't cooked all the way through. Everything was lukewarm. Much better food at both pizza hut and dominoes, and that's saying something

Awful experience ordering from this restaurant. Pizza delivered was for a different customer and they wanted to collect and deliver a cold pizza to us. Driver said it ‘was warm’ which was ridiculous. Waited hours with constant back and forth. Manager seems to be missing because they’re apparently never in when you call. Staff don’t have a clue either. Will be demanding a refund and taking it further if need be. Never ordering from here again!

2nd time I've placed an order and there has been missing items. I was assured I would get a refund including the delivery charge. It's been over 3 weeks now, I have made several phone calls and still no refund.

An hour and 40 mins for a cold order to be delivered. No answer at the shop to discuss this with anyone. Avoid this place at all costs.

Pizza never turned up updated to delivered after store had closed so couldn’t call in. Must have had a balaclava with the amount of robbing they.

We had take away delivered, and it was just rubbish and very expensive for what it was.... £30 for 1 large pizza and sine piri piri chken bites.... chicken was not spicy, all the garlic sauce pots were like double cream on the turn and did not taste of garlic at all.... pizza very poor

Staff disgustingly rude, pizza quality since mid-December has been atrocious, food stone cold and any request for a refund refused. Trading standards would have a field day. Avoid at all costs.

Worst pepperoni pizza I've ever had.

My boyfriend worked here and gave me insite to what they do, they've got tubs everywhere which is coved in mold, when they drop stuff on the floor they just pick it up and send it out, staff go for fags and refuse to wash their hands, and so much more, I've also contacted HR to complain about it but they gave them a heads up to cleaned the place but a week later it was back to what it was, boyfriend was about to quit but got sacked first cause he ate a cookie ( he's Diabetic I should add and they know this) thinking about sueing Should also add if this gets took down I will continue to put it back up

Amazing pizzas staff always friendly, I don't get delivery's as too many people use delivery's these days so you're never gonna get it hot, I use the website, easy to use, any XXL pizza 9.99 if you collect yourself! What's not too love, got a xxl pizza with everything on it last night and a hawaian saved a mint, went up and got em myself, takes like 20mins from order to ready so I order from my house then head up and if anything wait 5mins, staff are always spot on very friendly and welcoming, I wasn't gonna review as reviews do help a place and after this it will probably take me longer to get mine but feel more people have tae know! They have tae know hahaha!

Without doubt the worst Papa John's i have ever visited. The shop is ancient, doesn't have enough staff, and the staff they do have are largely inattentive due to being overworked. Horrendous Papa John's. Go to the store in Shawlands or Dennistoun instead.

Bad service, unfortunately we didn’t read the reviews about this branch beforehand. Rude staff but can’t blame them as they were the only one on which is a joke. Won’t be ordering from here again and I suggest you read the reviews before you do.

Hi , have used this shop several times ,but my last two visits have been dreadful last week ordered pizza and sides and it took over 2hrs to arrived and it was frozen cold I complained and the told me my next order would be for nothing ordered again last night food arrived in 40 min still cold also ordered a additional pizza as I had a voucher code from head office that never worked so paid for pizza the staff in the shop said order would come together but second pizza took 1hr and 45 min and was stone cold tried phoning shop several times and no one answered my call stay clear service and value for money terrible

Ordered via Uber Eats. 2 pizza plus 2 extras for a staggering £50 Only 1 pizza arrived. Driver said not his problem call papa Johns. Called Papa johns to be told by the manager he gave it to the driver so nothing he could do. Called the uber eats driver to be told that he can't give me food he wasn't given. Basically papa johns refuse to take responsibility for the 3rd party company they use and feel its OK for a customer er to be out £20 for a pizza. Disgusted by both companies 1 hour later £50 down 3 calls later I've lost my appetite

Absolutely love this Papa John's! I am a long term customer and love it! Don't go anywhere else for my pizza! I have to give a shout out to David at the Rutherglen branch a couple of times I have run into very small issues that David has resolved quickly and professionally. I would never go anywhere else. Huge thanks to the team at the Rutherglen branch.

Always get a great delivery the pizzas and sides are excellent. The staff and delivery drivers are so lovely. Just couldn't tip the driver. Would be great to have that option when paying online. This is for the Rutherglen store X 👍

Pizza arrived an hour after ordering, and it was cold. According to the online tracking it took them half an hour after it came out of the oven to be sent out with a driver who went down the wrong road.

pepperoni was nice, outside crust was awful. I'm lactose intorelant so ordered the vegan cheese option.. OMG it was so cheesy that after 3 slices I gave up and got an indigestion tablet..AWFUL.. If you can imagine Primula in the squeezy tube it was like that but 1000% cheesy.. AWFUL.. I scraped some of topping but put about 98% of it in the bin...Dreadful cheesy liquidy ...eeeek garbage..Dont buy the Vegan cheese stuff it's Yukky and so strong.

I didnt receive all of my order the last 2 times I ordered from here or a refund. Wont use them again. Make sure you get what you order

This mob always get your order wrong, always takes ages to be delivered, arrives cold and the pizza base is like cardboard, do yourself a favour and order from Doms

Poor service, twice they got the order wrong, placed a large meat free with 2 sides as offer was on website, sent 1 side which was not even wedges but some cold potato crockets that were deep fried and oily, instead of jalapeno bites I got jalapenos ON the pizza which I didn't ask for at all, complained and manager said u were "under" charged and u got the side for nothing, said the offer is on "UR" website and he said order from the website next time, refused any wrong doing, very poor customer service, will never order from rutherglen Papa John's again

placed order through just eat, selected to pay with cash on delivery. Est time of delivery 40 mins, after waiting over an hour, gave the shop a call to find out if the driver was nearby. Clown on the phone replied with "what is this driver" seriously you have people who can't understand english on the phone, second person said it won't be long. Waited another hour to receive a text saying it was delivered. Second call was told your order wasn't made because we wanted to pay with cash and the just eat account that i always use is not verified. "Just eat won't pay us if you dont pay us" As I said Clowns, avoiding for life.

Frequently get pizza delivered from here. Always a great pizza every time, although delivery drivers have gotten lost a few times.

Sorry for the 2 stars, it was really tasty but I got a really sore stomach 20 minutes after eating, it lasted for 4 or 5 hours!

Ordered a large pizza and a couple of sides, waited over an hour and a half for this which wouldn't be an issue except we were told on two separate occasions that the driver would be with us within 2mins. Once after having waited 55mins and once after an hour and 10mins. Poor service. We then we're delivered cold food after such a wait. When I complained about this to Papa John's they took almost two weeks to get back to me and apologised and offered me a free pizza voucher. One free pizza offered as compensation for a full meal delivered cold!! Then when I questioned this and said I should get the full value of my meal refunded I got passed from the customer services team to another person. I thought customer services dealt with situations like this. Anyway, now the issue is with this other person I've been referred to, and I'm 4 weeks down the line from my initial feedback with still no outcome. My first ever Papa John's and it's failed on all fronts. Highly unlikely to never order from there again.

I ordered pizza online as I had done many times before, the past few times the pizza itself has been disappointing so we had left a while before trying again. This time we ordered on a Saturday evening early on, it was delivered fairly quickly and the pizza looked a little sparce on the cheese and had no dip but we had sat down to watch a film so tucked in, a few slices in and I suddenly found myself chewing on what appeared to be a long black hair, resisting the urge to vomi. I called them immediately to be met with a series of gentlemen that really struggled to grasp what I was saying, eventually I was passed to someone that understood my complaint and reiterated to another colleague before coming back on the line to inform me that he can send another pizza. I refused as the thought of eating anything else at that point was not appealing, I asked for a refund, he refused and said I would need to raise my concern with their head office. The only way to contact Head office is via email as they do not have an active customer service line for any concerns, that was a week ago now and still heard nothing, no apology, no refund and an inedible pizza. No I would definitely not recommend, steer clear and get yourself a pizza from either Dominios or :Pizza Hut....they have nice friendly customer service and appear to be hair free pizza!!!! Update: 2 weeks in and head office have gotten involved and still refusing to offer a refund as I did not keep the pizza and therefore my word against theirs!!!

I've ordered regularly from this store. After my first order, they have been really good. I like the easy on-line ordering and tonight the pizzas were perfect. I often get a discount by putting in the code and that makes it a really cheap meal. I’ll keep ordering form this place because the pizzas are great and their delivery guys are friendly and helpful.

Ordered online with supposed 30% off. Got to pick up and told 30% had not been taken off. They said there was nothing they could do. As they already had my money as I had paid online, I was basically stuffed. Better go to Dominos or Pzza Hut...

Discount deal not given, phoned shop, still waiting on refund

Waited an hour and a half for delivery, gave a phone number for the driver to contact me on and he never did. Order got cancelled and that was that, at no time did they bother to admit to fault or try redelivery or give a discount. Shocking customer service.

Order always incorrect. Don't understand how it can be so hard to read an order form and put a few toppings onto a pizza base.

I actually don't think that Papa John's (Rutherglen) have EVER managed to get my order correct. Tonight my pizza had tomato instead of double barbecue sauce, and no red peppers. Not sure the meat pizza my brother had was as advertised either. Is it so hard to train people to put the correct toppings on a pizza? Step1: Read order Step2: Get correct base Step3: Put correct sauce on pizza Step4: Read what toppings customer wants and layer accordingly. Step5: Bake Step6: Deliver I could train a 10 year old to do it.

got All the Meats medium stuffed crust pizza, brownies, chicken wings, ice cream and DIET Pepsi, got full sugar now as you can see it's not like I'm dieting haha BUT they put the wrong name on the box my name isn't Amy it's Cheryl I mean their food is amazing always is, I'm addicted 10/10 would recommend

Item was delivered to the billing address not to the requested address. The confirmation email has the correct delivery address but the items were sent to the wrong location.

Pizza was ok.. Bit soggy at the bottom, enjoyed the chicken poppers and the garlic and herb dip was awesome. Not sure about the special garlic sauce, it was strange. Garlic bread was ok. Spent over £20 so got a discount but its a bit overpriced for what it is.

Only thing id say that maybe isnt great is you get an esimated time to pick up your order from just eat and i went earlier than the time stated and my pizza was sitting ready so if you possibly go abit later your food could be ready and sitting a good 10mins or so.

I ordered home delivery pizza's, the guy taking the order was really nice and very professional. Meal was delivered very quickly and was 1 of the best pizza's I have ever tasted. Would definitely recommend Papa Johns

Forget the exact delivery time but pretty speedy, few times I've ordered from them they always have been. Not like other takeaways that can take up to an hour and a half and not even on a busy night! Food was good, always is cos unlike little local places they're a professional, big name chain of takeaways and have higher standards they seem equipped to maintain. Only downside was that my potato wedges were missing their dip and were luke warm. Other than that an almost perfect service. By the way, try the giant choc chip cookie even just once lol. Not a huge chocolate fan myself but absolutely loved it.
