Panino Italiano in Allerdale

We were recommended this place by some family members, as we are vegetarian and were told they have some great choices! All i can say is that we were only in Keswick for three days but after trying them on the first day we returned here for both remaining days of our holiday!! Really good choices, especially for veggies and vegans, we tried a few different grilled sandwiches and were well impressed with all!! Would highly recommend!!

Purchased 2 different flavoured sausage rolls, a classic and a sweet chilli.Best sausage rolls I’ve ever had,loads of filling and well worth the money.

I had the great fortune to stumble across this private establishment today. They two ladies who greeted me could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Needless to say, the coffee was excellent and our toasted paninis and handmade sausage rolls were both tasteful and good value. I would highly recommend a visit here. Many thanks for making me very happy today.

Got two grilled sandwiches with ham, mozzarella and pesto and was disappointed that the bread was still kinda soggy after grilling and that mozzarella was the British sliced version rather than the fresh one: that'd never happen back home...

Just popped there today for a coffee. Had a couple of latte, and it was lovely coffee! Food looked great too but had not long eaten. Definitely recommend it there!

Sorry not to be dramatic but this was the nicest sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Got the 6 (salami) and 10 (meatball) and both were insane. Good value for money and bread roll was so soft and to die for!

Popped in today and had a lovely salad for £5.50. It was so tasty with things like minted pomegranate and orange salad and a lovely mango red pepper and corriander salad it's definitely worth visiting whilst in Keswick. I'll be back for more yummy salads

This is a fabulous little place! So pleased I found it as my panini was lovely and the menu left my mouth watering! I feel it should be advertised as a deli rather than an Italian place but it was well worth the visit and I’d recommend to anyone visit Keswick

Staff are very friendly. Great to see that have alternatives to cows milk which is great. Fresh pasta and sandwiches available. I have a pesto ham sandwich. It was very nice and tasty on a baguette. I also got a expresso which was made in a proper coffee machine and was really good quality coffee. Coffee and sandwich for about £5 in a busy centre on a bank holiday weekend isn’t bad at all. Would go back again.

We’ve tried Brie sandwich with chutney, it was really tasty - all ingredients were full of flavours and really fresh. It was delicious sandwich, which we both shared. We might need to go back tomorrow, but this time we won’t be sharing as it’s too nice to share. Ladies at the shop were also lovely, we felt very welcome and it was nice to have little chat with them both - well done Ladies!

Spotted this wee gem while walking in Keswick. Popped in for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised how much fresh food there was. Decided on a couple of baguettes that were fantastic! Great food and excellent staff will deffo be back.

Lovely clean cafe, great selection of Italian style sandwiches and pastries. Well worth a visit if you’re nearby in the Lake District!

I visited here just after the first May Bank Holiday. I was immediately greeted in a friendly manner even though they were very busy the staff still had time to be pleasant and courteous. The COVID regulations were strictly adherd to ( only 1 family at a time) and had the use of hand sanitizer - the staff had masks on and I felt very safe here. The cafe was spotless, with lots of choices - even for Vegans.I decided on a local ham and cheese baguette with some healthy green leaves and I know this sounds like a basic filling but it was totes delish and very reasonable - under £3.00 ( which for Keswick is a steal).Sally and Grace were cheerful and are a credit to the business. Will definitely return.

A lovely little shop, with so many delicious treats and beverages! I’m a regular customer who just can’t get enough of the food, the pomegranate, orange and mint salad I had was unbelievably delicious and there’s so many VEGAN OPTIONS!! The staff couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming special shout out to Grace she’s an absolute star see you very soon ⭐️

Visited every day of our 5 day stay ( finally getting a break away from home ). We got great coffee every morning post-run and tried lunchtime salad boxes and sandwiches to have half way up high spy and after a walk round Buttermere lake. Absolutely delicious food and really friendly service. Looking forward to returning on our next trip.

We stopped here for a bite to eat whilst passing through Keswick. The amazing sandwich menu caught our eye mainly Italian based but also some English options too the variety was amazing. I decided to have the #1 sandwich which was pesto, sun blush tomato’s , prosciutto ham , mozzarella and pea shoots topped with truffle oil and my friend had a meatball sandwich they were both Devine and a perfect taste of Italy . The staff sally and grace were also very helpful and chatty we will deffinetly be back next time we come to Keswick .

Great choice of tasty Italian pasta dishes - I would highly recommend, scrumptious grub, well worth the visit.

I love their freshly prepared sandwiches and Sausage rolls. I love to pick them up on way to work. they have so many to choose from and are always happy for me to choose my own fillings if I want something different. They service is always lovely and so fast. They also have some of the nicest coffee and cake I have ever had. Perfect for a lunch o the go or to take home and enjoy.

Called in for a salad box, very fresh and homemade, really tasty, and sausage roll for the husband, had a coffee and a hot chocolate the best I've ever had, rich and creamy with choc topping the staff (Sally & Grace). Are very helpful and friendly always a smile when serving you, will definitely be back and telling friends and to go.

Just popped in after realising they’d reopened , and wow ! What an amazing selection of home baked products bought a coconut and white chocolate tart for later ( delicious) and tried one of their tropical fruit smoothies , how refreshing after my walk , will definitely be back !

The staff are really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority! The food was delicious, I had the lasagne which was top notch! I will be returning.

What a smashing place. Was served by Grace who was so friendly and welcoming. Such an amazing choice of cake, panini and fillings. Oh and the hot chocolate is to die for. What a welcome and great lunchtime food.

Stopped by Panino today for a sandwich and also sampled the Tropical Punch smoothie which was amazing! The staff were lovely and the young girl (i think her name was Grace) couldn’t do enough to help me. I’ll be back on my lunch break more often!

El pan era increíble y los sándwiches muy bien envueltos con una servilleta de papel y una práctica bolsa de papel.Nos íbamos al día siguiente, así que compramos un par de los clásicos rollos de salchicha que eran una comida en sí mismos.La tienda tiene una excelente selección de sándwiches y ensaladas y una tentadora variedad de pasteles y bandejas para hornear. No pases de largo.

Llamamos ayer en un viaje de un día a Keswick, la tienda en sí es encantadora con todos los ingredientes frescos en exhibición. . . los niños probaron los rollos de salchicha estándar mientras nosotros probamos un rollo de salchicha de cerdo y chile, un sándwich de queso crema de salmón ahumado y rúcula en el pan más suave y agradable con excelentes adiciones como el crack de pimienta negra y limón fresco, y finalmente una rebanada de la casa hizo pizza, comida absolutamente increíble, ¡incluso el perro disfrutó un poco de rollo de salchicha! ¿Definitivamente volvería?

Regularly have coffee from here as it is always very good, on this visit I had a doughnut covered in warm milk chocolate it was delicious fantastic little shop highly recommend it x

Nos alojamos en Keswick durante 5 días y fuimos a esta encantadora tienda temprano todos los días para desayunar (bacon y salchichas) y para llevar el almuerzo para nuestras caminatas diarias, ¡y fue perfecto! Ofrecen una amplia selección de bocadillos, no solo su habitual jamón y queso, sino también deliciosos platos de pasta que puede mezclar y combinar, así como lasaña, etc. Ideal para llevar a nuestras caminatas por los lagos. El servicio siempre fue muy amable. ¡Lo recomiendo encarecidamente!

Paid £6 for 4 small plain donuts about 5cm diameter. I mean they were nice, but not £1.50 each worth of nice. That's an 'I saw you coming price' if ever there was one.

Called in for a sandwich, wow how tasty, all staff wearing full masks and hand sanitised between each preparation. You have to wait as each item is made in front of you, but really worth the wait.

I have literally been counting down the days until Panino's re-opening!! I was there first thing this morning for my soy vanilla latte and croissant :). I'm picky with coffee and Panino & its sister business Syke Farm Tearoom (also a favourite) are the only places that seem to get it right, I wont buy coffee anywhere else. The croissants are so fresh and obviously homemade, by far the best croissants I've ever had. My partner loves the sausage rolls and the sweet potatoe filo tart, I often go for a vegan option because I try to avoid too much dairy. There is always plenty to choose from and everything is homemade and SO fresh! The staff are always so welcoming & cheery which makes the experience even better :).

Great coffee. Great choice of delicious sandwiches and sausage rolls. This place sells something a little different in a special way. Stilton or caramelised onion sausage roll for example. Two delightful young ladies serving made such a fuss of our little pooch. Lovely atmosphere, great service, would highly recommend.

I know it's a big statement to make but these sandwiches are the best I've had.I always get a number 12 and it never disappoints filled with pesto, roasted veg, mozzarella and balsamic. There cake range is amazing and all homemade. They also have different specials on everyday.I found out about this place as I love syke Farm Tearoom in buttermere where I always get takeaway cakes for my family. I was told that these business's are actually sister business's! So I can now get my cakes a bit closer to home The staff are also very friendly and are happy to help.

Eso, junto con las bromas amistosas cada vez que entro, hace de Panino uno de mis lugares favoritos. Hoy también me sentí tentado por su mini pastel de Navidad y no me decepcionó. Me encanta que todo esté hecho en casa con productos locales, hay una sensación real de apoyar a la comunidad. Volveré pronto. ¿Estoy decidido a probar uno de los nuevos sabores?

Why would anyone choose to eat pre-made, pre-wrapped sandwiches when you can eat from here? Delicious Mediterranean-style, deli-type sandwiches served on pitta-like bread. Good selection of meat, cheese, veggie and vegan options each containing 5-6 fillings - olive spread, pesto spread, salad leaves, sun dried tomatoes, grilled veggies etc - which can be customised or make up your own filling cimbination. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff.

We popped in out of the rain with our dog for a quick bite. I had a gorgeous fresh salad and my husband had some sausage rolls. Brilliant food, reasonably priced and friendly team.

Panino Italiano is relatively new in Keswick and has a great range of takeaway items. All homemade in their own bakery. The homemade pies and pasties are particularly gorgeous and sit well among the homemade cakes and sandwiches. Today I had a pork and Stilton sausage roll made fresh today and it was gorgeous! Staff super friendly too!

Visited Panino Italiano for lunch on several occasions and it’s always been well worth the visit. Beautiful fresh food and tasty cakes. Will definitely return!

The sfatt were really friendly and the food was delicious, in and out with no problems at all. If in the area and wanted a quick bite for dinner I would highly recommend a visit here. My wife and I had no problems with our vegan dietary requirements eating here.

Every time we come to Keswick we make sure we go to Panino Italinano for our lunch. We got a salad box and a cake to take with us on our walk. Great selection, especially for vegetarians and vegans. Staff are always friendly and very helpful. Will definitely return.

I call in here twice a week for my lunch ,it is always lovely , had their goats cheese special this time it was delicious , also had a pot of frozen yogurt with berries ,so refreshing give it a go;

I have been in 4 times now in the past month. Whether you’re in for homemade cakes and coffee or lunch, it’s all delicious. The sandwiches are some of the best of I have ever had and very unique to the Lake District.

As a resident of Keswick, I decided that today was the day that I didn’t just walk on by and look longingly at the wonderful counter full of very eye catching food!

So glad this little cafe/take away has reopened under the watchful eye of the team from Sykes, Buttermere.

The staff here make the most wonderful salads, soup and cakes. You can find something for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can buy hot or cold to suit your needs. And again, those delicious cakes always great for that special treat.

My boyfriend & I love it here. I'm not normally a sandwich fan but I liked the look of the Vegan options so I thought I'd give it a go. Now I treat myself to a sandwich from here once a week. My boyfriend likes the meatball option, I love the hummus & red pepper. Next time I'm going to try the vegan tuna :-p. The salads look amazing too and erything is really hygienic & clean. Highly recommended!!

What a brilliant find this was! I popped in here for a salad box and a coffee to take with me on my walk. I even had a vegan chocolate tart because it looked gorgeous and was calling out for my name. It tasted divine and left me wanting more. It was good value for money and I will be returning again on my next venture to Keswick. The staff were very helpful and upbeat. Lovely little find!

We popped in to pick up a coffee and cake to take with us on our walk. The cakes tasted very nice and the girls who served us were very upbeat and pleasant. We look forward to going back as they do a selection of salads, breakfast items , and they had a specials board up with pies and a few other items listed. We will definitely pop back to get some lunch to take on our next walk with us.

Great Little shop for lunch or a quick coffee, I had the Pesto noodle salad and a chocolate tart and I loved it! the service was pleasant and fast as well, definitely coming back.

Such a lovely little Italian sandwich shop tucked away at the end of the street. Only been open 2 weeks that’s why we’ve not discovered it before on our annual trip to Keswick.

As I love Italian food, it was great to find this place had opened. Have had a few lovely sandwiches & salads from here, lots of lovely choices. The breakfast boats and bowls are delicious, very filling too! The sandwiches are gorgeous, and the salads are amazing. My favourites are the egg, mushroom, chive and cheese breakfast bowl, cream cheese spread, smoked salmon and rocket sandwich, and the mozzarella, tomato and basil salad (although I had some other salad added to it, as there’s too much choice). If you’re in Keswick, please give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Great range of choice with loads of different fillings, loads of options for vegetarians and vegans too! We bought 2 toasted paninis - both lovely. They do a great breakfast menu too. We also tried a gorgeous tiramisu pot, all convenient to takeaway and very good value for money! Will definitely be returning regularly.
