Panache 50 indian in Stratford-on-Avon

Saturday evening was the second occasion in a month that we ordered takeaway food. It was so fresh and delicious. We couldn’t fault anything. Ok it’s a little more expensive but worth every penny. We will be regularly visiting the restaurant when they are able to open.

Reliable, tasty Indian food. We have a regular takeaway now that we can't eat in and it is reliable and so well cooked. Don't ever lose these chefs, they really know what they are doing!

Ordered a takeaway 2 curry’s, 2 rice, chapati and naan, £27.05. Got delivered in good time, delivery driver had no change on him so instead of arguing on my door step he left with £30. Food was alright. Rang them to say that the driver had no change after a conversation with them, bloke passed me to the manager who put the phone down.

Ray and his team have been doing a fantastic job since lockdown 1. We have enjoyed several meals in the restaurant since restrictions eased. Now back in lockdown 2 we have just ordered a delivery and it’s 10/10 again and the restaurant is really busy. Great people, great food

We received a very warm welcome. The menu is extensive and the waiters are willing to discuss your choices and adjust the level of spice to your personal taste. The food was wonderful with dishes on the menu that I have never seen before. The main course I ordered was slightly spicier than I expected. I asked for some yoghurt and the person serving us immediately offered to change the dish. There was no need a little yoghurt tamed the spice and the flavour was lovely. Service was really good but not intrusive and we were able to take our time and enjoy our delicious meal.

Being a bit of a food/restaurant critic, I must say how Impressed I was on 15th September 2020 when I went with my girlfriend for an evening meal at the Panache 50 Indian restaurant In Alcester. From the very outset we were welcomed and treated with courtesy by the front of house staff and nothing was too much trouble. We both opted for the Treat 2 day @ £12.95 pp, which is any starter, any main, rice or naan and it was scrumptious, all cooked to perfection and presented perfectly, in fact I would say bordering on Michelin star! The staff were brilliant very attentive and professional, I’d like to say a special thanks to Miah and Umar who made the evening so memorable. Full credit to all concerned, brilliant service and atmosphere, I honestly don’t know how they can excel on there quality of food and professional approach to customers. Saying thank you seems somewhat insufficient so I’ll stick to these two words "First class"We will definitely return soon. Keith and Sue.

Food was excellent with lovely presentation. Very friendly staff always with a smile. Comfortable surroundings with great atmosphere. Lovely candles with fresh flowers on tables which I love Most important is clean linen on tables. Most place cut back on those looking for a trendy look nowadays. This place is presented like a dining in restaurant. Would recommend this place. See you again

Return visit to Panache for their Thali evening which is a selection of dishes. Excellent food and service,in a comfortable restaurant.

Just popped in after work today and had stir fried garlic prawn starter , followed by king prawn tawa , in essence the combination of fresh tastes, quality ingredients were simply cooked to perfection and I sat back thinking I cannot remember a better curry for years. Simply astounding

This was our 1st visit in 2020 but previous visits in 2019 had never disappointed. The whole experience was just wonderful, from service through most importantly the food itself. There were 5 of us and all agreed that it was the best curry we had all had in a long time. I had chicken, lamb and mushroom jaipur which was delicious, among the other meals 2 of our group had chicken chettinad which I will have next time as it was simply gorgeous. The spiced potatoes side dish that was given on the house was also really tasty. There was simply no aspect of this meal that disappointed. We will definitely be returning.

We really love the Wednesday Night Thalia Night. We have been a few time and the staff are very welcoming and attentive but even the food is great. The thali gives us a variety of tastes without eating too much, but you certainly don't come home hungry.

Looked this via Tripadvisor - and booked as was highly rated - was not dissapointed - great freindly service - food well prepared and served and overall good value.Hygiene and track and trace in place so would recommend if in area as a better than usual Indian restaurant with very nice interia and great staff

My partner and I were looking to eat a lovely Indiana meal after 3 nights in a European cuisine Manor House . By chance Denise the super receptionist at travelodge Alcester recommended this one saying that a lot of residents had superb comments on the food and friendliness of the service. What a fantastic meal we had . Ray who attended us was very helpful in recommending and nurturing to our tastes .He told me that the Chicken Chehinad was what I would enjoy full of spices and not to overpowering . It was superb one of the best meals we have both enjoyed thank you guys for a lovely evening . Do not miss out on this gem of a restaurant if in the area .

We have visited twice in the last 2 weeks and have another table booked for this Saturday as we absolutely love the food at panache50 and the service is amazing every time. The staff are always checking on you to see if you would like more drinks or to check everything is ok with your meal.The two times we have dined here have been as a couple so we are taking the whole family next time as we cannot recommend them enough.

My wife and I visited on Wednesday and opted for the weekday special of a stater, main and rice/naan. The food and service were both excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant

Best curry house in Alcester! The staff are very accommodating with our one year old and are always attentive! The food is wonderful! I’m from Birmingham and their Balti is just as good as if I were in the Balti triangle!

We had a fabulous dinner at Panache 50 - they staff were great and and the food was excellent. We were able to view the menu on our phones and everything felt very safe.

A group of 3 of us ate here last night on my recommendation . I had every confidence in the quality of the food the warmth of the welcome and the ambience of the restaurant . A confidence that was fully justified . We had a lovely evening rounded off by one of our number entertaining the restaurant to a rendition of Danny Boy on his saxophone !The food was great . Service and welcome exemplary . We will be back .5 stars

Working locally for a month from Portsmouth found panache and been here twice a week ever since. The food is outstanding, Ray and his team are very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend. Thank you Ray and team.

Been working away from home for over a month, tried a few places around and finally came to a place with not only amazing food, but amazing staff, made me feel welcome from the minute I stepped in the building, I would highly recommend the food, the drinks and the company at Panache 50, you won't be disappointed. We were only in Alcester for a few days, and even though the restaurant is a little outside the town centre (10-15 minutes walk), the excellent reviews made us decide to go. The setting, the service, the food, and overall value for money are first class and I would certainly come again if we were in the area.

My wife and I up from Devon for the weekend.As ever, due diligence with TA and chose here as #1 choice of 109 eateries locally.Just superb in all departments, venue, ambiance, staff team and menu. It's so lovely to support a great business doing everything just as it should be done.A great experience topped off with a complimentary brandy in a warmed balloon glass. 10 of us enjoyed our meals,with the Fish Pakora a highlight for me and 2 others. Was pleased to receive a small bottle of prosecco for my birthday afterwards.

The service and friendliness of the staff was great. The food was also very good and we all enjoyed the different dishes. The place was also good with a nice ambience, although a little on the cold side. Unfortunately the toilets were not good they were dirty and in need of refurbishment. Would recommend an we will go back.

Good all round curry house. Staff friendly, food tasty and prices reasonable. There’s a clear difference between the quality of meal when you dine in vs takeaway - but guess you get that anywhere.

For the 2nd year running we spent Christmas Day here. Just perfect for us. Excellent food as always , friendly warm welcome with a hint of Christmas but not over the top like many places. Thanks Ray and all for a lovely time.

Really great Indian restaurant. Menu that concentrates on a relatively small number of high quality dishes rather than the dizzying variety that others attempt to serve up. Great decor, friendly staff and innovative touches in the food that sets Panache 50 apart from the crowd.

Visited this curry house and really was not impressed Curry was like gravy , horrible tastes as if the meat had been sitting in the seasoning for months. .best thing was the surroundings as the staff are welcoming , but clearly catering for indigenous locals sadly would not recommend as it was not authentic enough

Great place for a meal, from the moment you get to the front door your made to feel very welcome. very clean and nicely decorated place. The food is lovely , very fresh and tasty. Staff always friendly and helpful. Never had a bad meal. Highly recommend.

We have ordered take away food for 3-4 people. Food was ok. We have really enjoyed saag aloo. Even though delivery person had problems with finding the address, with great commitment he arrived on time. We have ordered 4 main courses. The big disappoitment was no rice with any of the dishes - although menu says 'all our main courses come with rise'. We have ordered portion of naan bread ( which we found out is 1 piece) just to try so we actually got 1 piece to share between 4 people with our mains. This came up as not so good value for money.

Four of us went last night for the first time having seen the reviews on Tripadvisor. We weren't disappointed. A licenced restaurant with a nice ambience. The food was excellent and the service was attentive and prompt. We will definitely be returning

Alcester is a small town in England. While we were there we ate one of our dinners at this restaurant. The decor was good, the service was great and the food was fantastic. The bill did not flatten my wallet either. Highly recommend this as your first choice in Indian food when looking for hidden gem places to eat.

One of if not the best curries that my wife and I have eaten in a long time. The chef and the owner really know what they are doing. It reminds me very much of the beautiful curries that used to be had at the Bangla lounge in Hall Green.......but why wouldn’t it......Panache 50 is owned by the same guy who used to own the Bangla Lounge.

Whilst staying in Alcester and looking for somewhere for a meal we found this! Looks more like an old pub from the outside but once inside it is bright and modern with a tasteful Indian decor. The staff were all friendly and very attentive to our every need. The meals we had were all cooked beautifully and were delicious. I would recommend Panache 50 for a nice meal out and will go again when in the area.

Friendly service and a comprehensive menu, starters and main courses where very generous in size with good flavours and spices, a good sign of an Indian restaurant is the quality of the breads and theirs were excellent, would definitely make a return visit to sample other dishes on the menu.

We stay in Stratford a lot and was looking for a nice Indian restaurant to visit on s regular basis so looked on trip advisor and saw panache 50 which looked nice so we went there and asked for a table.

Food and service was absolutely amazing. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. Would definitely come again and highly recommend.

We came Saturday, myself my two young children and my parents. The food was amazing and so was the service. It was lovely to see that they now had a children’s menu. The waiters also made a real fuss of my children which they loved!!

We chose to go to Panache 50 based on the reviews. We had become a bit disenchanted with our local Indian restaurants due to indifferent food and poor service so we were delighted to find somewhere we had not been before. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was good. Service was also good and we will be going again very soon.

As the title suggests my wife, auntie and myself had a very enjoyable meal yesterday evening. We all really enjoyed the food and the attention and friendliness of all the staff was really excellent. The menu looked extensive to me with good choice of real Indian dishes and English/Indian dishes.

Visited with family an had the most beautiful food at this little gem. Service was excellent an professional. Good choice on the menu with reasonably priced. Very clean an modern look. Music playing in the background relaxing. Advise you book Because they are very limited in space. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table. But they managed to fit us in while we have a drink at the bar. Would highly recommend this place.

We have visited Alcester on a number of occasions and never visited here before and what a mistake. The food here is lovely and I really recommend it. We went on Wed and had their Thali non vegetable. We really had a lovely time. We will definitely go back in the next few weeks.

Been here a few times now an this place has always been very welcoming. The food bursts with aromatic flavours an the quality of the lamb just melts in your mouth. I have had many Indians in the past but Panashe 50 has always come out on top. Have been here couple times and they have never failed to satisfy my crave for Indian food. I would defiantly recommend for family and friends.

We are in the area on a weekend away. We came accross Panache 50 when searching on google. The ratings were high. We got there and we were not disapointed. The restaurant was fresh, inviting, clean, welcoming and tasty. Probably the best Indian restaurant we've ever visited. Having Indian photos and Indian material on the walls for decoration added another special addition to a special meal. Thanks for fitting us in on a fully booked night. Today me and my parents had a really nice meal. It came out hot and within a reasonable time, it was tasty and very filling. The chicken was very suculent. We really enjoyed ourselves and we will return soon.

We decided to try here as a change to our regular in Alvechurch. The food was ok but we found the curry’s to be of generic flavour with no obvious difference between the different ones we ordered. My “jalfrezi” wasn’t what I would describe as a jalfrezi and unfortunately only had 3 prawns in it. The chicken was over cooked and nann wasn’t great. It is nice enough and the staff are really friendly but not a patch on our regular curry house.

We recently tried Panache50 for the first time and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious, the meat just melts in your mouth. Great service and very nicely presented. We will certainly return the next time we're in the UK. Thanks Ray and see you soon!

Amazing food of fantastic quality served by helpful and friendly staff. The meat is beautifully tender and obviously from a good source, the flavours of the food are also amazing.
