Very good food, excellent customer service. Authentic italian food, whilst having a small cosy family run feeling.

This is a lovely, friendly local restaurant. The staff are attentive and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend the Capra pizza!

I’m not prone to reviews and I hate posting good reviews as I don’t want great places to become swamped. However, this place makes the best dough outside of my kitchen. You can actually taste how relaxed it is, soft, chewy and such a beautiful open crust. When someone puts this much effort into perfecting beautiful simple food it deserves to be hailed in Wood fired heaven.

Food, service and atmosphere is always fantastic. It’s good value for money and it’s the best place to eat in Barry.

Such a find! We were visiting the area, had a long day out exploring and Googled restaurants in Barry. This and a local Italian came up and Paletta won us over. No regrets - a really lovely restaurant. The food, starters and main, were super tasty and cooked fresh. No food isn't just the reason I'd go back or recommend it, but the customer service was fab, too. Ore, and the rest of the team, were so friendly, welcoming and gave the right amount of customer service which made you feel like you were really cared for. In fact, because we were visitors, we asked if there was anywhere else we should be visiting. At the end of the night, the staff came over with a LIST of local things we should check out. Considering they were super busy this was such a nice thing to do. Really lovely place - definitely visit!

Lovely restaurant…. We actually found it by accident and we’re so glad we did. The staff were so friendly and service was excellent. The food was delicious (we all had pizza) and was also very quick. If you do visit, you definitely need to try the desserts to, very yummy.

Saw great reviews for this restaurant for my anniversary but was disappointed with our meal for 4. My three guests had pizza, there was little filling, the dough was tough. My pasta was Ok, just! Sorry not for us, we may have been unlucky yesterday but we won’t try again after paying £86.

We had a lovely evening celebrating my husband's birthday in Paletta last night! We were greeted with friendly service and made to feel welcome straight away. The service remained friendly and attentive throughout the evening - the chef even came out to check that everyone was happy with their meal, which was a lovely touch! We all ordered different meals and they were all delicious and flavoursome! The restaurant's decor and ambience has a very authentic and charming feel to it, too. Stopped off in Barry on the way to the airport and found this little gem! No booking but we managed to get a table as we were first in. By the time we had finished our meal the place was hoping and not a spare seat in the house! Great ambiance for a quaint little restaurant, excellent décor and extremely clean. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, food was superb, some great pizzas and was a fantastic way to round off our tour of Wales. Keep up the great work and we'll certainly swing by again the next time we're in the area.
