reception staff laughed at us when we walked past them so we left. we were confused as we didnt know it existed and wanted to just have a coffee and they made us feel like idiots

Amazing views - lovely setting - Great service - £105 for 6 glasses (125ml') of wine '& 1 x Rum & Coke ...??? HMMM! My one and only visit will be a fond memory. Drinks only.

The bar is welcoming and the staff are really nice there. They may not welcome you In the restaurant section if you come with bags looking like a tourist and don't look prepared for a "fine dining" experience that day.

Me and my partner went to the Oxo tower simply to go up and have a coffee at the brasserie. Greetings were subpar. After asking if this was the brasserie and if we could have a coffee. Becuase we never been and were confused and walked down to take a seat. And overheard them laugh about me and my partner on the questions stated previously. Heard them, immediately left becuase we felt so unwelcome. Fix your staffs attitude

Lived in London for years but had never been. Went for lunch. Amazing food, brilliant service and the atmosphere was so buzzy. Loved it! Not forgetting the views. We'll be back.

This is a good place to get some drinks and enjoy the view in south bank London. Food seemed good too however we didn’t order it. It’s a good place to visit around 4-8PM so you can actually enjoy the view which is very nice!!

Had a great meal here . Got there early enough to get a window facing table for 4. Service was fast and friendly. Great atmosphere. Food was tasty and everyone enjoyed their meal.

We had a lovely meal and the trout was cooked to perfection. The service was first class and the view over The Thames was fab.

We had a nice dinner with a fantastic view. The food was really good and the cocktails as well! Service was attentive and professional but the room was slightly too cold and it was quite chilly. Also at around 10:30pm still around 5 tables with guests were there, the team started cleaning and preparing to close down, implying to us to leave which is mot a nice feeling after a nice dinner that we paid really good money for.

Really excellent experience - with views this good, they need not focus on the food, but the food is excellent. Highly recommended. Only suggestion is that diners are permitted to keep the table for a bit longer.

Wow. What a truly special family dinner we had. We could not fault anything. The food was excellent, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The menu catered for all tastes, with a great selection of wines, cocktails, and other drinks on offer. We will definitely book again for our next family celebration. We'll done OXO.

Ideal for a special occasion, very high quality food, and the view is simply stunning I’d recommend the seared tuna and the tomahawk Good selection of wines too!

My partner booked an afternoon tea at 3pm yesterday on 14March at the restaurant in OXO tower, and we had a horrible start of the experience. I cannot find any email address to express my complaint. I hope you can forward this message to the right person. The Indian lady at the reception who showed us to the table was incredibly rude. She was passive aggressive all the way through. It’s like the whole world owes her!! When we arrived at the table I was taking my coat and scarf off and I didn’t want to keep her waiting, as she looked extremely impatient, so I kindly told her that it’s ok, no need to wait to push my chair in. She gave me a massive fake smile and passive aggressively said “I’m sorry it’s my job I have to do this” and then blanked at me. I’m sorry but what the hell is wrong with her? The food was good, another lady who attended to us for the food and the rest was super nice. Everyone else was nice! My whole afternoon tea started with her horrible superficial sick attitude. The rest of my experience at the restaurant didn’t get any better even with the food and other kind waiters. I feel bad for the chef and everyone else. Your effort is ruined by her disrespectful behaviour. I hope appropriate department will dress this issue properly. She alone ruined the whole experience and brought down the standard of your restaurant. Thank you.

Went for the food stayed for the view. Excellent winter special 4 course menus with bubbly! Food was delicious. Had a live band and music was enjoyable without being too loud. Waiter was less than attentive and once realizing we were choosing the fixed menus his enthusiasm for us being there left.

I recently visited the Oxo Tower Restaurant with my husband to celebrate a special occasion and we had a fantastic experience. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking, but what truly sets it apart is the quality of the food, which is completely worth the cost. The wine selection is also good. We will definitely be returning soon!

Without doubt - one of the best lunches I have had. Immanuel went out of his way to assure me all staff were aware of my dietary requirements - ensuring my gluten free needs were met - even bringing special GF bread and offering for anything on the menu to be adapted alongside chef discussion. Incredibly friendly and super professional - I haven’t experienced such customer service in an incredibly long time. It was also my friends birthday and the special effort to light a candle without fuss + encouraging us to sit near the window for dessert (away from a noisy table) was an added bonus. Immanuel should be commended for his commitment to excellence and outstanding teamwork - I noticed how he kindly instructed and offered support to other colleagues working his section too. Other tables around us were also appreciative of his style and attentiveness. I will definitely be coming back and am so glad we chose to dine at OXO Tower Brasserie!

I’ve given 4 stars here but that may be generous. There’s actually not that much wrong with it but it seems to me that it should be better Our starters arrived far too quickly to have been freshly made and my crab looked like it had been sat under a hot lamp. We shared a Chateaubriand which was ok but not medium as requested and while tasty enough seemed small and perhaps not the finest cut of meat available. Our desserts looked factory made and again slightly disappointing. On a positive not, it’s not expensive for central London and especially with the views. The service was ok but not special. On the subject of the view, which is good, we were left wondering why there’s no anti reflective coating on the windows- a simple fix … Would I go again? Maybe, but there’s lots of choices so maybe not. In my view it should be way better albeit if at additional cost….

We have been to the OXO Tower Brasserie a few times now and have always had a lovely time. The winter set menu offered enough variety, the food was tasty and the portions were generous. Service from Inacio was excellent – better than what you often get at more expensive restaurants. Everyone else we came across was also super welcoming and friendly. Views from the brasserie are amazing and sitting by the windows is a real highlight. A pleasure coming back.

We dined at the Oxo Tower brasserie on Saturday night (as a large family party of 13) and both the food and service were excellent. We had 5 children under the age of 10 and they were welcomed from the moment we arrived with goodie bags and a great menu to choose from which contained a superb selection for young kids and was also reasonably priced - the staff were also very happy to make any modifications and we experienced some of the best service we've had in London! The live music created a special ambience and the view was beautiful. It's rare to find a restaurant that caters to the young and old in such a superb way but, we had a fantastic evening, thank you!

Excellent restaurant & bar at the top of the OXO Tower on the South Bank of The Thames. We were warmly greeted and staff were excellent and attentive. We ate early evening pre theatre and had a window table with excellent views up the Thames. We ate in The Brassiere, so cannot comment on the Restaurant. It was quiet when we arrived but got much busier. We would recommend booking in advance. The food was simply delicious and for this standard of eatery was good value. It has been a long time since we last ate there and we won’t leave as long before we go back (we live in the North of England, so not that easy to just pop in).

Went for Sunday lunch at the brasserie. Food very nice but the service was outstanding. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful.

Spent the afternoon with my family at the OXO restaurant having afternoon tea. Having had a lot of afternoon teas this was right up there with the best. Very nice service and good quality products.

This place never fails. The food was absolutely incredible. Service was friendly and efficient as always. We come here at every opportunity and we will be back soon.

Awful experience. We booked a table for 4 in the brassiere. It was like being in a school dining hall. So loud. Children being disruptive with parents ignoring them. I’d recommend dining in the restaurant as opposed to the Brassiere. Food was ok but for what it cost it wasn’t worth it. Sadly it wasn’t worth the visit and I’m sure it won’t matter but we won’t be going back.

Returning to Oxo for the first time after 2019 was really enjoyable. Apart from the wonderful which always remains the same, everything was superb. The current menu is an intriguing fusion of European cuisine, the wine list is impressive. I went for the burrata starter and fish with linguini. It was really delicious and the french fries with truffle mayo were a killer! On the dessert side, the ice cream felt basic, but it was still acceptable. In general, an expectedly pleasant experience

As always, when visiting the OXO restaurant the whole experience was excellent and my guest was very impressed as it was her first visit.

Quite a loud restaurant more suited to groups than a romantic dinner. The food, wine, and service were faultless.

A very nice place. We stayed for drinks and the drinks were very nice. The service was incredible, no waiting around to be seated, having our orders taken and as soon as the glasses are empty they're taken away and another order is done. However, minus one star for the two receptionists who laughed at me and my partner as we walked away. Yeah sorry, i grabbed a last minute coat from George, hardly anything to ridicule two customers over..

Superb service throughout and delicious food. We usually eat in the Brasserie but chose the restaurant on this occasion. The waiting staff were extremely knowledgeable about the food and keen to hear our feedback on some of the new dishes on the menu. Would highly recommend, great location and fantastic views across London.

I made reservations for dinner and drinks. This was my first solo trip, a trip I bought for myself as a birthday present and the last item on my “things I must do as a single woman” bucket list. The live entertainment was very good, though a bit hard to hear. The salmon dish was absolutely amazing, I have to honestly say that was the best salmon I have ever had in a restaurant. The drinks I could have used a bit more alcohol but they tasted good and looked very pretty. I ordered the coconut panna cotta dessert and when it got to the table it had Happy Birthday written on the plate which was a beautiful touch and made my trip that much more special. The views did not disappoint and of course pictures do not do them justice. Overall this was the most incredible first meal experience in London. I will definitely be back when I visit London again.

This was our first visit to the Brasserie at the Oxo Tower and we weren’t disappointed. Excellent food and impeccable service made this a memorable experience. The views are amazing, too! We arrived early, so spent some time enjoying the artisan shops at Gabriel’s Wharf and Oxo Tower before heading up to the brasserie. We had a fabulous table with views across the Thames. Staff were very attentive and the food was delicious and plentiful. As the brasserie filled up and the live music started, it was, at times difficult to have a conversation, but this didn’t detract from our enjoyment. A table next to us ordered the lobster linguine, which looked divine, but my salmon was also delicious and beautifully plated. Good selection of relatively affordable wines, very tasty food, attentive staff, and fantastic city views - what’s not to like? I hope to be back!

We had a fabulous meal at Brassiere yesterday. We choose from the £40 for 4 courses and a cocktail menu . Everything we had was delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. All the staff we met were polite , helpful and kind. We will certainly be back and would highly recommend to other visitors. The views across London were amazing and the venue is bright and clean.

We visited the Restaurant and Bar so let's start with the former. Its such a nice restaurant with a great view up and down the Thames, perfect for a bit of people watching whilst you dine. Its an expensive restaurant but the food is very good quality, and the service is right up there, they are very diligent. I would recommend the spiced crab for starter and the venison for main. So on to the bar, its recommended you book a table in advance, we turned up without a booking after dinner and had a table for an hour. It wasn't quite what I expected, given the ambience of the restaurant, i expected similar and it was rather loud by contrast. Once again though, the staff are very professional and service is prompt. It also has the same views over the Thames, there is an outside area but we didn't entertain the notion in January....

Went to the Brasserie for lunch on a Monday with friends. Great food, great service and lovely view & atmosphere.

Had a totally wonderful night, took a chance and walked in. Everyone was so helpful and polite and the food was out of this world. After we had finished our mains a table with the magnificent view became available and we were asked if we wanted to move to the table with the view for desert. I cannot rate them highly enough they made the night perfect.

Good points - iconic location and views and relatively good value for the location. Bad points - the food ain’t great - it’s too noisy, the tables are very poor - just trading on the location methinks!

What a surprise evening. The restaurant, in my opinion has always suffered from a lack of ambiance. It has amazing views but it felt overly stuffy and bland, more of a tourist hotspot. After a four year absence I took three guests on Monday evening and we had a brilliant evening. The food was a 9/10. The wine list was strong. The staff left us alone and didn't force us to move when it was obvious to them that we were there for the evening. We had a round table (which I also believe is the best way to keep conversation flowing). When there is so much choice in London you need to have a good reason why to return to a restaurant. The food and staff have made me a supporter.

The view is spectacular, quite possibly unparalleled (especially at night which was when we were there)! The service is formal and attentive, quite accommodating, but provided by a team of hierarchical workers: a head waiter, a uniformed drinks waiter, a manager, a busboy -- one...

We had a great experience on Sunday lunch at the oxo brasserie. Every dish was delicious and good portions, the waiter was very attentive and we got the table next to the window. The Harvey Nichols Chardonnay from Chile was also delicious and very reasonably priced. I will be back again soon.

Booked for a birthday celebration. Unfortunately greeted by rude receptionists at the door which set the tone for the evening. Would not recommend especially with how much money was spent. Food was average and not worth the price. .Again, would not recommend.
