Excellent Breakfast. Fast friendly service. Around a dozen tables and very busy on a Saturday morning. Helpful waitress allowed me to change items on the menu. Recommended.

We ordered a business platter for our staff and our customers and it did not disappoint. Plenty of options to choose from, and more than enough food was delivered. I’ve also had breakfast in the cafe itself and this too is well worth a visit. Check them out. 💪

Visited today for breakfast after hearing lots of good things about Owens and we were not disappointed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, amazing quality and the staff were efficient, friendly and very welcoming. It has been on my doorstep for years and can't believe I've never been. Better late than never and will definitely be returning.

I popped in here one Friday lunchtime with two friends. We had been a few times for breakfast, which was always great. Hence I was looking forward to see what lunch was like. I ordered a hot roast pork sandwich and this was lovely, the meat was plentiful and tasty. The service was efficient and very friendly. Overall, a great cafe and highly recommended.

Have been meaning to come here for a while now and finally managed to pay a visit today. My friend previously had one of the breakfasts, not sure which one, but highly recommended I come out for one. This time, we both went for an eggs royale each and it was beautiful. The poached eggs were perfect and burst just how we like them and everything else just made it more than worth the trip. And to top it off, my friend managed to snap up some Gower Coffee for a very cheap price while we were there too. Ridiculous that I'd never been before despite how local I am. The best breakfasts in Torfaen. I'm sure we'll be back.

Owens cafe does out of this world breakfast, Can be quite a wait for delivery but it’s to be expected😁! Always food turns up warm

Best breakfast I have ever had. Lovely visit to Owens. Friendly and quick service. I had eggs Benedict which was amazing, the granary toast is so good. My husband wanted eggs benedict too - but called it valleys egg benedict as he wanted extra eggs, ham and no sauce - Owens were so accommodating. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon.

Excellent service and my latte was very nice. A soft roll with pork and stuffing made a good lunch and the cranberry flapjack was a real treat! Seating available both inside and outside. Recommended!

My wife and I called for a coffee this morning and have just come back for lunch. We had great service fantastic food at an unbelievable price, no more needed to be said.

This small friendly cafe is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Good food, service and reasonably priced. They seem to also have a well used takeaway service too.

Met up for lunch with my mate Jon and was treated to lunch - started well. We both ordered chilli half and half and a hot drink. The lady (Bea) who took the order couldn’t have been more helpful, it was clear we had just missed ‘the rush’ and we were asked to be seated and the drinks were brought over to us. We were also offered a table cloth and candles but declined on the basis that it was not that sort of lunch. The food came which was hot and in good portion and quickly we got to work. Neil offered the addition of cheese and that literally topped it off nicely. We both managed to clear the plate and will certainly be back for more - probably tomorrow.

Small cafe that serves wonderful food ! From American Pancake breakfast to wonderful panini and salads-all of which are so tasty and such good value .Their coffee ,particularly cappuccino is excellent.Weel worth a visit for a lovely lunch.

What can I say, i love my food and have eaten out in loads of places however this is by far my favourite. Id almost say im addicted to this little cafe. The staff are all very friendly and the food is just amazing. Iv never had a bad meal here. The food is all very fresh, home cooked and pleanty full. Iv never left there disappointed or hungry. Iv recommended to many friends and they always tell me how they enjoyed it and have been back for more 😊 id also recommended the bbq chicken, bacon n cheese melt jacket pot!

Called in for the first time the other morning. Ordered the large breakfast for two of us. Didn't have to wait long. The drinks came first followed quickly by the food. It was all piping hot. The food was really well presented. The doorstep toast was great. You could even have loads of butter on it which is unusual these days. There was everything you could wish for on the plate for a breakfast. Another fantastic part of the breakfast was the cost. It was well worth the money I paid. I'm looking forward to my next visit soon.

We had the hog roast for my husbands 50th birthday party on Saturday and so many people commented on how good the hog roast was saying it was the best they’d ever had, including myself - thank you!!

Great stop off for a food stop during the day. Lovely bacon, brie and cranberry bagguette. Cafe was full of happy sounding people , food looked really nice.

I popped here with a large party of 10 women. We all had different orders and arrived at once. Service was quick and friendly and food tasted fantastic. I ordered the full welsh breakfast and they changed the black pudding for a hash brown.

Estado aquí unas cuantas veces hiciera algo para comer o tomar un café y nunca decepciona, puede llamar a comprobar el pedido y recoger en su camino! Eso es lo que yo llamo un buen servicio. Los alimentos siempre frescos y sabe muy bien. Lo recomiendo altamente.

Have had funeral buffet from Owens cafe and it was lovely and fresh with plenty of it... I visited the cafe and got lovely big fresh rolls full of my choice filling...Absolutely wonderful food and brilliant service... Definitely would recommend...

Owen fue recomendado como un buen lugar para comer mientras trabajan cerca, y no nos decepcionó. Está a una calle residencial, un poco fuera de la ciudad, con parking exterior, y capacidad para alrededor de 15 personas en su interior. La mayoría del comercio parecía ser para llevar. Hay una buena selección de opciones de comida de ensaladas, paninis y baguettes, a así como grandes desayunos. El servicio es alegre y enérgico, y nos volvimos para el segundo día, en vez de buscar alternativas. Los precios son razonables. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo si en la zona.

Me metimos aquí con tres amigos por el desayuno del sábado. Toda la experiencia fue magnífica.

i had a delivery here so stopped for a full welsh breakfast and i must say it was the best all round breakfast i have ever had and being a delivery driver i have had loads and you only ever remember the best or worst this was the best by far everything was perfect and all for just £5.50 including a great cup of tea keep up the great work it was amazing

Desayuno comido aquí con frecuencia, con la familia y con amigos. Siempre es excelente y recién cocinado. A menudo me preguntan a cambiar cosas y siempre están dispuestos a satisfacer mi pedido. No dudaría en recomendar a cualquiera.

Owen's catering was recommended to us for the catering for the Wake for my Mum's funeral and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious; all home made. Their cakes and quiches are absolutely delicious.The food prepared was generous and beautifully displayed. Their efficient and sensitive approach helped to turn what was a very sad occasion into a lovely celebration of my mum's life.

Regularly go to Owen's for lunch. Always have our order ready to take away if we phone in advance but places to sit and eat also ...and always friendly service!

Went there once a few months ago, had a cheese toastie and found a few hairs in the food, soo it kinda put me off the place.

Lovely little Café. I didn't even know it was there. Absolutely spotless and the food was really nice.

The arangement of the seating in this cafe is poor, you are literally sat 6 inches away from the person on the next table. No chance of privacy here.When we visited we had the full English, this consisted of the following: 2 rashers of bacon, two small sausages, fryed egg, black pudding, a very small serving of beans and mushrooms and a round of toast.The black pudding was tasty but the rest was very bland, we also had coffee which tasted nasty. We won't be going back to Owens anytime soon.

Good Food, Good Service, Good Value. Problem is, we have to drive past and go elsewhere quite often because the tables are set up in such a way that if there are more than 6 couples eating, all the tables are taken. May sound pedantic but we all prefer to have a table to ourselves.

I have visited Owens on several occasions over the past few months with colleagues from work. The selection of food is really good, from a hearty full breakfast to a really healthy salad.

Have been here on countless occasions!! I always meet my friend here for lunch!! It's an amazing little cafe, the service is fab and so is the food!! Would recommend anyone to try it whether it's to sit in or to take away!! Can't wait to come to lunch again soon!!!

Great place either for a quick bite or a full bung up breakfast, nice quality, friendly staff, clean and comfortable place, no complaints at all.

If you're into your cooked breakfasts this the place to go. Whether as a start to the day or for a brunch the Welsh breakfast at Owen's is just the thing. It's got everything you could want on a breakfast and is fantastic value for money. Always piping hot and served fresh. Would highly recommend it.

Excellent breakfasts and lunch menu. Visit every Saturday for a cooked breakfast and coffee second to none locally. Know many people who have used the cafe and never a bad word.

My partner and I have been here on several occasions - the food on every visit has been top notch! The staff are very welcoming and friendly, great menu, fantastic home baked cakes, a lovely local family run business. We highly recommend a visit, whether it be for food, or just a cuppa, it's a lovely place!

I have only ever, but on quite a lot of occasions, had a latte in this little café. However, not only is the coffee excellent, it is very well priced at £1.50 and the staff are really friendly. Both the salads and the cakes look delicious but since I go there straight after an exercise class, I have yet to give in to temptation!! The café picks up passing trade and also a lot of take away office lunches.You can also sit outside, though there are just 2 outdoor tables.
