Ottos pizza in Liverpool

Time to call it a day with Otto's and go to Grill and Slice. Ordered two mighty burgers and was given two plain burgers. Not the first time this has happened. Food is good but not good to keep ripping off customers

NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! My niece is coeliac and is very ill now after ordering a gluten free pizza from this dump of a place 🤬🤬

Wrong order delivered.....not the first time! I contacted them to say the wrong order was delivered and they were very abrupt on the call and then when I told him the order was wrong he hung up on me! Appalling service. I called back and he took the phone off the hook. I wouldn't mind but they have had so much custom from me. Never again will I purchase any food from Ottos.

Used to be great but gone right down hill, late deliveries is the norm now but now started arriving cold. Had to push the issue to get them replaced after they just said microwave it. Delivery, service and quality all very poor

Roast duck pizza turned up with chicken not duck. Cheesy fries turned up no cheese . Pizza hard and cold . Not impressed wont be ordering from here again.

Food is always cooked to specific production level of satisfaction. I use delivery services which are always on time for my distance away and staff are super understanding of inaccessible housing :) i recommend chicken burgers.

Really not happy. I’ll not be ordering from here again. Last time our chips were missing from the order. This time we got the wrong pizza & the chicken dippers were missing. I called to complain & was totally dismissed. There was no apology no refund nothing. It was shocking customer service. And the food was cold. Awful, I wouldn’t mind as much if there was some level of acknowledgement for the rubbishness but nothing.

Always enjoyed the food here, when it eventually arrives. We should of learnt from the previous 3 times we ordered and it was over an hour for delivery and arrived cold, however tonight after 10+ ignored calls and over an hour and 40 minutes with no sign of delivery I give up. Never again. Useless

Staying in a hotel in Sefton Park we happened upon this takeaway by chance - and so glad we did. On first day we had the midi deal of Two 10 inc pizzas, a 10 inch garlic bread and 1.5 litre bottle of drink and it was only £13.99. It was all cooked fresh as we waited and simply delicious so next evening we had a 10 inch pizza and a spag bolognese both again really tasty and under 13 quid! Can't recommend the place highly enough nor it's extensive menu!

Pizza arrived cold and tasteless. Ordered a half and half so that we could try two different lots of flavours but there was no taste to either side of the pizza. The base was tough and chewy and the toppings just completely bland. Ordered Salt and Pepper fries ... they were jist cold fries, no salt and pepper seasoning or any seasoning of any sort, they just some oily peppers and spring onions dumped on the top. Both me and my partner felt sick and bloated all night after eating it. Called to speak to them to let them know how disappointing the food was and was told 'That is just our standard of food' ... would not recommend and will most definitely not be going back.

Pizza was a hour late and half way down the box they put the wrong toppings on the pizza what we did not ask for, weren't answering the phone towards the end would not order ever again

Ordered via Uber eats as I have many times previously. Usually they are ALWAYS at least 30 mins late but one of the only pizza deliveries with gluten free options so we use. However this time they took our money, and ring to say we don’t deliver there- when mentioning we have done so many times before they rudely reply and slam the phone down! Not worth the hassle, get your pizza elsewhere! Not how you treat your repeat customers, I certainly won’t be returning

They got our order wrong, and when my wife phoned up to let them know, they were rude to her. Kept telling her she was wrong, even though we had the order in front of us in black and white.

Both pizzas that were delivered were not what we ordered - both sent with vegan cheese (gross), when I specificially asked for one to come without any cheese (and ordered a regular cheese pizza as the second). I rang up to let them know both pizzas were not what we ordered in the naive hope they'd send replacement. I was told repeatedly by multiple members of staff (passing the phone between them) that I was wrong, shouted at, and told I had written something different and it was my fault I got the wrong food - when in fact my note was very clear and the food we were sent was not what we ordered. We have been really good customers and this was such a strange response on their part. I remained polite on the phone and simply asked for a refund (I doubt this will happen) but came off the phone upset and shocked.  I really hope you don't speak to other people that way- if you'd just said you'd had messed up I wouldn't have cared at all. But to repeatedly tell me I was wrong and it was my fault you messed up is ridiculous.

¿Tenías media pulgada de pepperoni y medio queso quemado y pepperoni no estaba muy crujiente o bien picado si eso es lo que te gusta? También obtuve papas fritas y pan de ajo, nada bueno para ninguno de los dos. Lo siento. Los ottos necesitan mejorar el juego. Hay suficiente personal para manejar un supermercado.

I had ordered two 12" pizza on a monday, one being the classic Margarita and the other was BBQ chicken, both the pizza's tasted good, I did not see that there was an offer called Monday madness in which you get free Bruschetta or Garlic Bread with min spend of £8. Pizzas are ok from here... Some good selections on topping but feel they need a little more oil in the pizza and a tiny bit thicker to make crispier. Not a fan of pizza done conveyor belts style... Would be nice out of a stone oven. Nice staff.

This for me is by far the best takeaway you will ever have, the burgers are more like what you get from a restaurant and as for the pizza you have to try the 20inch ( my daughters fav ) also do great salads sweet potato fries etc, you can't go wrong with an Otto's

I place in order online at 6:20. Said it would be with us between 7 and 7:10. It came hour later. I asked for the burger with cheese. Thought I'd be getting slice of cheese but got the sqeezie cheese. That with it being cold and gooey over the now soggy lettuce, not happy. The sweet potato fires were soggy. Pizza was ok but cold. Only good thing was the rocket salad. Coconut cheesecake. This had been the first timer or a while we have ordered from here and beforehand it was really good. So not sure if I'll be ordering again

This is really good pizza, not greasy like most take aways.I only had a 10" but this is great for groups as they sell up to 20" for a really good price. You get a lot more for your money than the big chains.I had the £8 deal, for a pizza chips and can and I would get it again,There is a good range of toppings too, including gorgonzola so there are plenty of options.Delivery was nice and quick too.

Disappointed. The last time I ate here a few months ago, I ordered a burger it was pink inside so I took it back and asked for another one. The second one looked well cooked I ate it but had food poisoning the next day. I've had pizzas, chips and their steak baguettes before and they were nice. I was reading some of the more negative reviews thinking, hey, these people need to loosen up. if the pizza is good, what else matters?i ordered a pizza for 7:30pm on otto's website. i had plans. i was going to treat my partner with it when she got home from work.the pizza shows up at half six, an hour before i ordered it. i thanked the driver but pointed out that he was early. he just laughed.Otto's. you make an ok pizza. but you treat your customers like schmucks. i tried to treat someone i cared about and instead we're eating a dried out pizza. i could have spent £5 in the supermarket and enjoyed it moreget yourselves together

Won't be ordering from Otto's again. Used to be my go to pizza place but the service this evening means I won't be doing so again. 50 minutes over due, cold on arrival and the final insult? BBQ dip instead of the requested garlic. It's a shame to find that Otto's can deliver a truly awful pizza.

I cannot explain how amazing the food is here. Just ordered a cheese pizza with mushroom and mixed peppers and to my suprise there was stilton on it!! My fav ever cheese!! Spaghetti bolognese is fantastic as is the complimentary bruchetta. Polite staff and efficient service. This is the only one ill use from now on. Thank you ottos!!!

I order food from Otto's all the time and it's always perfect, recently tried the burgers for the first time and my boyfriend, my sister and I are completely hooked. The best burgers in Liverpool way better than GBK and all the others. Soooooo cheap too

We've ordered from Otto's regularly over the years and decided to give it a try after the relaunch. Big mistake!! Food was 2 hours late, one item was missing and what we did get was awful. No apology offered for the delay. When we tried to call umpteen times after noticing the order was incomplete we kept getting the user busy tone. Terrible experience!

20" Pizza was great! Freshly cooked, good ingredients and prompt delivery! Fed three of us! Would recommend and use again!

Have ordered from here many times and the food and service is excellent. The food is great and always hot when delivered. I would highly recommend as I've had most items from the menu and every one is delicious.

Ordered 12" pizza and chips on a Sunday about 5.45pm. Was told the order would be there within the hour. Totally ok with that as I have ordered a lot from here before and the food is great. Hour 10 min no food. Ring up to ask where it is. Snotty reply saying it is on its way. I live 10 min away at most. 20 min later ring up and they say it should be there now. Then hang up. 5 min later the pizza showed up. No apology. I said I was unhappy. He said sorry. I said I would have been happy to wait hour and half if they would have said and not lied to me twice on the phone. Paid full price for the food which I understand is acceptable. I then said I will never order from them again as they lied to me twice. He said 'so'. Never would knock the food. It's great. Never had a problem before. And I know my opinion won't affect them. But the service was terrible. Go to mamos on rose lane. Top pizzas and great service!!

Have started ordering from here recently. Don't know what the bad reviews are about. The pizzas are the best. Better than dominos/pizza hut and cheaper. Never had a failed delivery. Occasional minor ordering error which the friendly staff are always quick quick to rectify

Tried for the first time the other day. Delivered on time, nice tasting food. 20 inch pizza with 8 different slices was fun. Would go back and would recommend.

We used to order from Otto's pizza and we won't be ordering again. We waited a while after the estimated delivery time and when then we rang them to ask where the order was up to. They said to us that it will be 20 mins, so after waiting 40 minutes we phoned again to an agressive member of staff who said it will be 20 minutes to which we said its already been 40 minutes (1 hour after the estimated time) the person on the phone then put the phone down on us. Waited for another 15 minutes to find out what the hell was happening. It had been 2 hours since we made the order and we still didn't hear from them or see any sign of our delivery. They said it had only been an hour, which it hadn't. They said that they would phone the delivery driver and would call us back which they did and said that the driver had told them that he had delivered the food to our address already, which he hadn't. They then questioned us to see if we had which of course we didn't and so we cancelled the order. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone again.

If anyone is considering ordering i would suggest don't! Thursday night and took 1 1/2 hrs to arrive. Driver rang me twice as his sat nav couldn't find the property which has been standing for 7yrs. Food had to be microwaved at £25 which is an embarrassment. Poor sustainable business model, poor customer service and look warm pizza. Delivery driver yelled at me on his route out which i caught half off but enough to hear an expletive

I just tried ordering from Otto's online but when I got to checkout there wasn't an option for delivery, only collection. So I phoned up and asked if I can order over the phone but still get the 10% discount (for online orders) as their website isn't working properly. I was very rudely told that no, I couldn't and that I must be doing something wrong and I should try again online (I had already tried three times). The man on the phone started shouting at me and getting annoyed. I've never been spoken to like that by anyone in customer service before, so I decided to go elsewhere. No idea if the pizza is any good but the rude staff certainly prevented me from ordering.

First time ever trying this place, never tasted food like it, I had carbonara and ceaser salad and tried the pizza and bruschetta that my husband and friend had absolutely gorgeous, everything was fresh none of the frozen rubbish, the portion sizes were large and very good value for money, the delivery driver was polite we ordered online so he was the only staff member we came into contact with. highly recommended

Otto's has a broad range of unusual pizzas so we were keen to try, however what arrived was average at best. The pizzas were ok but certainly not a patch on Dominoes or even Pizza Hut... a little bland, while the 'garlic bread' was just awful - rock hard, dry and tasteless. The potato wedges were soggy and unappealing. I'll be paying the extra for Dominoes next time.

Otto's pizza is a very welcome addition to L17. The pizza is really tasty and well cooked, and the potato wedges are that perfect combination of fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.The staff are friendly and helpful, and on the one occasion where they got our order wrong, they let us keep the wrong one for free and delivered the correct one ASAP.The 20" pizza is legendary, order it if you dare (or have loads of mouths to feed).It's so good that I don't even feel that guilty about ordering pizza once a week (the 12", not the 20"). Otto's is now our 'go to' takeaway option when we realise it's 9pm at night and we haven't had any tea yet and we can't be bothered to cook (and we're good cooks!)Honestly, it's great, try it.

We ordered the 20" pizza as we had friends staying. We chose a few different flavour slices and were a but disappointed that they got a couple of slices wrong. But the chicken goujons and wings were delicious - some of the best I've had. And the bruschetta never disappoints. The pizza was still yummy (cheese cram is yummy) and arrived quickly.

Great pizzas at great prices and always happy, friendly, efficient service. The pizzas really are very good and much better in every way than the high street competitor that we won't mention!

Put an order through via the Internet rang straight away to check the order was told 45 mins rang back a hour and 15 mins later to ask where the food was to be told I was out of the area and they didn't know when delivery would be. I spoke to the manager who said 15 maybe 20 mins staff were unhelpful and rude I cancelled the order would not recommend

Firstly, you can place your order and pay online, which is brilliant (especially when you haven't got any spare cash lying around). Secondly, the pizza is lovely!As long as you order over £8 worth of food, delivery is free - and they're really quick, without compromising on quality.The Chicken Dippers are lovely, and if they aren't home made they certainly look it! Check out the BBQ sauce that comes with them - amazing!! I wouldn't recommend the Chicken Wings though.

I'm a regular here and find the service and food to be excellent. Definitely one of the best pizzerias in the surrounding area.
