Oshies Kitchen and Grill in Pembrokeshire

Terrible food terrible service no staff at all and the chef came in late and clearly been smoking cannibus also there was arguements in the kitchen I would avoid at all costs

Hi I went into the restaurant on the weekend it was very quite, I was told that the boss and his wife were in jamacia but we still orderd food, well there is only one word to discribe the food. AWFUL. some of it was still frozen and the chips were so greasy full of fat, when I asked to speak to the chef a girl came out that had previously given me attitude on a previous visit, when I said to her I wasn't happy with the food her response was a sarcastic smile and said well don't pay for it. I was so shocked, she walked away and I have only now found the words to dictate this message, Oshie's Kitchen was such a big part of our trip in the summer before but with having two occasions this year with the same girl full of rudness and attitude Oshie's has gone right down, I would understand if it was busy but there was no one in there eating at all, and her and another girl (very chatty) she has no manners and will ruin the atmosphere there, we have a family of 10 coming down this weekend and really wanted to try oshies based on our recommendations but now we will tell them not to come in, Oshie and his wife needs to be back in there and that rude girl gone as it will not last the winter I didn't want to put this on Google as I can see the bad comments on there already I hope you will take my advise she is no good for the restaurant Regards Sammi

Great food.. we had the jurk chicken & having been to Jamaica 🇯🇲 it was not far off the same spicy taste. Spoke to the chef who was really nice..& from Kingston so he's knows a thing or two about cook. The only thing he needs to do is add a few more rums to his Menu..as the Caribbean is famous for it, I could only see two at the time. Will definitely go back again if we are in the arena.

What can I say about this restaurant can be said in one word. Excellent Attached to the DeValence Hall you are guaranteed a friendly welcome and best of all the food is of great quality and fairly priced and competitive. I would highly recommend the Goat Curry with rice, which came piping hot and presented well. The staff are friendly and very polite. If you have taste for Caribbean food you will be pleasantly surprised. There is easy access for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues

Visited Saturday 14/8 Had no Gin, and had wait outside for the drinks to arrive. They never did until we asked again. Also they took the payment twice, which I only realised when I checked my bank App whilst I was there. They didn’t know how to refund so in the end I asked for cash. I’m not an expert on Caribbean food, so all I can say is, it was OK. Wouldn’t eat there again. This was in the middle of Tenby’s peak season and is one of the best places to visit during a heatwave. My advice BE PREPARED….

Came here for my birthday meal with my family and had a wonderful time, the tunes were good, the staff were really friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered 2 curry goats, 2 mac & cheese (kids) and a sausage and mash (kids) We all ate the food and wanted more. They were relatively busy but managed to stay happy and helpful. The card machine was rather slow which caused a little havoc, but this is by no fault of the staff. Thanks for a lovely birthday meal x

We came to Oshies for some cocktails, and possibly food, on recommendation. It was Saturday 30th July. We arrived and placed our order. 20 minutes later, we had to ask where our drinks were. Attached is what our recommendation photo looked like, and what we were served. Dishwasher in a Guinness glass. £28 later. Needless to say, we didnt stay for food

Great food (jerk sauce was amazing), cold Red Stripe, laid back tunes, cool decor and attentive service, what's not to like?? Ignore any negative reviews, really, and stay irie :-)

So happy we found this place, authentic tasting food and pleasant staff. I ordered the halloumi burger which was cooked really well and tasty. Our table had the jerk chicken, ribs and got curry - all went down very well indeed. Special Shout out for the kids corner play area, not enough restaurants in UK do this, but our three kids loved it very much. Would highly recommend this place, very relaxed restaurant with tasty Jamaican food.

This is my second visit within a year, this time I am happy with the food and service. I guess the are better a dealing with customers when restaurant is quieter. For all the visitors who had a bad experience, I recommend a second visit because this time things might be different.

Looked great. Service appalling. Waitress mixed up orders. Food came at different times, including the chicken that was supposed to go with the salad. Real shame as the salt cod fritters were great, jerk chicken good too.

Stumbled on this place on a day out to Tenby, came back in evening and chose to have dinner here. A few things to say … Food was great, was expecting to have hotter Jerk. Mussel’s in cider was a winner but should have more mussel’s for the price. It would have been nice to have all meals brought out at the same time. Staff were so sweet. A few recommendations if I may. Change seating outside to get more tables, capitalise on doing cocktails and you will get more consumers. Remove the labels of the fake plants in the windows, and maybe buyfake plants that represent Caribbean rather than bamboo :-) This is a little gem and could be even better

The restaurant was grubby, the menus had food all over them and were sticky, as were the tables. Music was far to loud we could barley hear one another, asked if it could be turned down and even then still to loud. Food was average at best. Pulled pork wrap meat was chewy, chicken wrap was over cooked and just tasted of char grilled. Coleslaw was vile. Childrens fish gingers were more of gujions which caused havoc with my son who has autism. Menu said free desert for children but we’re never offered it on ordering or finishing out food. Children related to the staff were running around the restaurant which was off putting and a kitchen staff member came out of the kitchen wearing sliders on his feet🤷‍♀️ Won’t be returning. Much nicer places for the same price.

Only thing worst than the service was the food. Rude cold and run by kids. Taken I by bbq when passing At lunch. Probably the rudest front of house I have ever experienced. Food pre cooked warmed up and served Luke warm at best.

Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, family friendly and delicious, authentic Jamaican food. We had the curry goat, jerk chicken, rice and peas, plantain and pineapple slaw and it was superb. Will definitely be coming back next time we are in Tenby. Thanks again!

A Caribbean restaurant in Downton Tenby was an unexpected find and the food was unexpectedly tasty and authentic. We had pulled pork, burger and a salad which were all delightful. The service was attentive and the environment pleasantly quirky.
