Excellent food ,warm friendly staff. Took our friend here for dinner tonight as always the service & food spot on. Can’t recommend highly enough .. this beautiful cosy wee Italian has that perfect ambiance, relaxed friendly & very attentive staff. All our meals were amazing & very generous portions. We went to LL Italiano recently, having read such positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent - particularly the steak which was as good as I've had anywhere - while the atmosphere was nice and the service very friendly. It was our anniversary and the owner offered us complimentary drinks which was a nice touch at the end of our meal. Looking forward to our next visit.

We once again visited this top restaurant (I understand it's no, 1 Italian by Trip advisor) and were warmly greeted as usual by the friendly owners. We usually have a starter, main and a coffee but decided to try a sweet instead of the starter which we thoroughly enjoyed. We will be looking forward to our return in the near future.

I am delighted to learn that my favourite restaurant, LL Iraliano, is the number 1 Italian restaurant in Glasgow. This award is very well deserved as the food, service and ambience in the restaurant is always perfect. I can highly recommend. Anne

Our first night out a me a couple for three years spent in the most perfect place! The food was amazing! The service was fantastic! Friendly and attentive staff! My daughter treated me to lovely lunch at this delightful restaurant.today 19/08 21When we arrived we were warmly greeted and made very welcome by Lello . He went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate our choices of food . Every plate of food we ordered was delicious ..thank you to the chef It goes without saying we will be visiting again and won’t be shy about recommending LL Italiano to our friend and family .

Visited this restaurant with friends and had an amazing night. The food was out of this world - great quality and portion size. Never lets us down always tasty lasagne it has to be for me. Spaghetti Napoli for my daughter and pizza of course. But the pate is a must as is the bruschetta infact it hard to choose something as all so good.

We have returned to this great restaurant for the second time after moving out from lockdown and once again enjoyed our evening here. The staff could not be more helpful and there seems to be a lot of regular diners that help the atmosphere. The food is excellent and the prices are decent. we will return soon!

We are delighted to be able to return to LL Italiano since the lockdown restrictions eased. The food is amazing with excellent service from Lello and Lucciano. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. Everything is very safe and Covid secure with sanitisers at the entrance doors and on each table. We had home delivered meals every week during lockdown but it is a real pleasure to be back dining in the restaurant again. We missed it so much.

We had our daughters christening meal here and it was perfect. The food was amazing, the best Italian food we have had and portion sizes very generous. The staff went above and beyond for us and everyone left full and very happy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic meal at LL Italiano. Lovely restaurant, relaxed atmosphere and the staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. Choice of pre theatre and a la carte menus, with good variety. The food was delicious, both starter and main course and I had a complimentary limoncello at the end which was lovely. We will definitely be back and I can highly recommend LL Italiano

Missing going to my favourite restaurant at the moment so ordered a takeaway on Friday night. We had a few starters, a focaccia and a selection of pasta dishes. Everything was delicious and so fresh! The favourites were definitely the penne gamberoni and tagliatelle with fillet steak. Will definitely be ordering again and can’t wait to dine in when restrictions lift. Thanks Lello and team! X

We have been dining here since it opened, and the service and food are second to none. Luciano & Lelo are the most amiable hosts, and there is always such a lovely atmospshere in the restaurant with friendly conversation going on between tables.

From my first visit to the restaurant I received a warm welcome from the manager and all the staff alongside excellent service. The food was well prepared and tasted amazing! The same must be said when using the delivery service - excellent customer service and high quality food. It’s been the perfect option during lockdown!

Thank you LL Italiano for a brilliant takeaway, first takeaway we have had since lockdown - our wait was worth it. Veal Milanese was out of this world, melt in the mouth, as usual! Just like we were in the restaurant but without the atmosphere (unfortunately!). Cannot recommend enough, great service and such a delight for the tastebuds! Top focaccia too!

The Highlight of LockdownIn all seriousness I have just had the best meal of the year - and it was delivered as a takeaway. Scorching weather (and out in the back garden) in Eaglesham Luciano (smiling as always) delivers a Starter of Chilli Prawns plus a Main of Steak Pepe (for me) and a Sole Mornay (for Sharon). Let's not forget the chilled white wine and the Tiramisu. SENSATIONAL! Thanks also to Lelo for suggesting what would be best on the day and the chefs who cooked this delight.I really miss this place not being open. It is easily the best and friendliest restaurant in the Southside of Glasgow.Do yourselves a favour - If you really want a restaurant quality meal that will exceed all expectations then Luciano, Lelo et al are the guys. Lockdown birthday 1 June so we ordered cooked and dressed lobsters from LL Italiano - all ready for us to collect at the specified time and we were overwhelmed by the presentation. Lobsters were cooked to perfection. We even managed to dine in the garden al fresco due to the tropical weather in Glasgow at the moment - a glass of fizz and beautifully cooked lobsters made for an unforgettable birthday takeaway. Beautiful food tailored to your preferences with probably the best customer service I’ve encountered in a long time. We’ve had large Christmas gatherings there with Santa for the kids along with fabulous family meals. The owners go the extra mile to make your dining experience a special one. A definite must.

Been to this restaurant many of times and always had a lovley meal and service is great.. due to being in lockdown they now do a fantastic take away service which is all delicious fresh cooked food delivered to your door. Can not recommend this restaurant enuff it's just the best ever.

Following a revamp, it is now overcrowded with too many tables squeezed in. It is incredibly noisy due to low ceilings and hard surfaces everywhere which make it very hard to follow conversations and the harsh unshaded lighting is sore on the eyes. Service patchy due to lack of staff - manager prefers being the "genial host" instead of helping more during busy spells. I emailed them privately about a problem I'd witnessed but got zero response.

So pleased we were able to get a home delivery for my wife's 40th birthday during the coronavirus lockdown. Delivered on the time they said it would be and the food and wine was fresh and amazing.

I am pleased to advise that during the Coronavirus outbreak, LL Italiano are doing an amazing home delivery service which means we can still enjoy the best food in the world. Nothing can beat sitting inside the restaurant being looked after by the excellent staff but this is the next best thing. Everything we have had has been delicious, complemented by a nice bottle of white wine. Thank you Lello - it is much appreciated!

We have just had the best home delivery food ever and aim to use this service regularly during the current situation. The food was just like being in the restaurant the only thing missing was the ambience as well as having to wash the dishes ourselves. It’s a cold, wet and miserable Friday evening, the cooker is well and truly off. So where else to go to enjoy freshly cooked, good food, but LL Italiano on Ayr Rd. It’s not just the food, but the warm welcome from owners Luciano and Lello makes you feel right at home, in this small, but perfectly formed local eaterie.

Once again have had a fantastic meal!! The food is excellent and nothing is a problem for the staff. If your looking for 5 star tasty food and excellent service I would highly recommend. Will most definitely be here on a regular basis.

This place has always been recommended by colleagues, I'm glad i tried it. Simple decor how ever recently been refurbished and it looks good. The quality is in the food, menu reasonably priced and not to complicating, great tasty italian dishes put together, staff very friendly and attentive, service was great would recommend and return.

We had a function with 33 guests to celebrate our golden wedding. The management and staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating and even dealt with last minute changes in the table plan due to call offs. The menu was excellent with several choices of each course and the food and ambience were highly rated. Everything about our function was superb and very much enjoyed by all.

I wanted to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday at home and asked Lello (owner) if he could organise this for me. It was brilliantly done from start to finish. Hot and cold canapes were delivered just before the guests arrived and the meal arrived at exactly the right time, piping hot! Fantastic service and delicious food. We had 5 different mains with roasted veg and there was plenty of food for everyone.

Came in on a Friday night wonderful cosy busy atmosphere. My pollo Milanese was amazing I asked for roasted garlic through it and it was perfect. Cocktails and service was lovely

I visited here last night for an early Father's Day dinner with my family. The staff were extremely welcoming and couldn't have been more attentive throughout the evening. The food was delicious, reasonably priced with generous portion sizes too. I had the lemon sole and can't wait to go back to have it again, with my mum claiming that the tiramisu was one of the best she's ever had! We booked a table for my wife and her friend who were both celebrating their birthdays ,when the host found out it was both their birthdays he sent out an amazing birthday dessert for the four of us.i expected to see this on the bill and to our surprise it was free of charge .along with a free round of drinks for the table.we have used this resturant before a few times and have always had fantastic food with great service but last night they exceled themselves .Thank you so much for your attention to detail

Have been a regular here over the years but, having moved to the other side of the country, visits have been few and far between recently. This was my first visit since the renaming and revamped interior. New layout is excellent and chairs are much more comfortable. The whole place has a cosier upmarket feel without being pretentious in any way. Luciano remains the perfect host, friendly and welcoming. Ate from the pre-theatre menu and the food was delicious and plentiful.

Algunas personas son obviamente demasiado elegantes para subir unas cuantas escaleras.

This restaurant was formerly known as Oscar's and has always been a lovely restaurant , but since it's modernisation , the food and service has improved dramatically . It's a very cosy yet modern environment and the 2 owners give a first class customer service . Both Lello and Luciano are very attentive and make you feel very welcome from the minute you walk in the door . I was so impressed with the restaurant , that I booked the whole venue for my friends and family just after Christmas , and we had a fantastic night . It really is worth a visit .
