Food ok but was overcharged random guy covered in oil behind the counter reeking of booze and still got the wrong change after repeating the order back twice as there was an English barrier

Everything was delicious on time!

Received the wrong dish after almost 3 hours waiting. Lady on the phone doesn't speak English and doesn't even work there. Was also told that the uber driver was outside and waited in the cold 45 minutes before the uber called saying that they hadn't even been given my order. The food is not very good and the driver went to the wrong location. Do not eat at this place, they disregard notes and you will receive the wrong food extremely late.

Very disappointing food. Please do not order from here, I ordered on Uber Eats and the food arrived 2 Hours late!! When it came, the food was very cold and did not taste good. The lady on the phone was very rude. DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM HERE

the order was missing a meal, and cold when delivered, tried to phone and no answer. charged for a chicken chow mein we did not receive.

I wish I could rate this 0/5. The order was over 90 minutes late. I ordered through Uber eats and called the associated number with the ‘restaurant’ and also the number on Google. Nothing back until a call back 3 minutes later to a chap saying quite aggressively that I should call the delivery driver myself to see where he was up to? “He left 25 minutes ago” the drive to my house is only 12 minutes. I advised that it wasn’t my job to call the delivery driver and he should sort this out as I was beginning to become impatient. My order finally arrived cold and looked rather disgusting with very poor quality and I have requested a refund. Please avoid at all costs and don’t make the mistake that I did

Just had a delivery, the food was cold and disgusting. Under cooked rice and just horrible. I have thrown my meal in the bin. Shocking! Go elsewhere for a decent takeaway.

PLEASE SHARE….. DO NOT ORDER. ORIENTAL INN AT Beeston, High Road Website had incorrect prices, when calling they said they didn’t know how to change this. Website said 45 mins delivery. When calling 30 mins after they said out for collection was told definitely on its way and with the driver. 30 mins pass again to be told the Beeston branch is closed and they are operating from Nottingham City Centre. Another 20 mins. We call again to be told they have no drivers are sending orders in taxis. We offered to go and pick up to be told nowhere to pick up from? Called back after deciding we need to order and collect from elsewhere and asking for a refund to be hung up on. If they had been honest from the beginning I wouldn’t be so annoyed and wouldn’t be asking people to share this post as Beeston updated won’t let me share to let people know and so they can go elsewhere and collect if there is a problem with drivers. We now have to request a refund through our bank. So annoyed that they were not honest from the beginning!

We ordered from here as our usual outlet was closed and the food was absolutely shocking. The beef in black bean sauce smelt like a drain and tasted absolutely disgusting. The meat was very low quality. Unfortunately, the whole meal ended up in the bin and we ended up ordering a replacement from another restaurant, Lucky Restaurant (highly recommend). I sent a message via Facebook as soon as we had this experience to tell them of our experience and they were not apologetic in the slightest. Just proceeded to tell me I was wrong and the 'food was cooked fresh every day' and nobody else had complained that evening. Clearly they think we were lying. Terrible, rude service on top of a terrible meal. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Had to collect my order as waited over an hour for delivery. Food was warm Not had problem before so hoping this was a one off

Food was bland, uninspired, dry, and very disappointing. Had to recook most of the items as they were so tasteless. Would not use this restaurant again.

I’d prefer more chillies in the Singapore chow mien and the Singapore fried rice. But the flavour is 100% there and tenderness of the meat is phenomenal. Shredded butter chicken bit soggy this time and not crispy but flavour still defo there.

Lovely food, late but it was Chinese New Year

All of the food arrived on time and was completely delicious. Last time I ordered satay sauce which I was not keen on as didn't find it peanuty enough for me, but this time I got sweet and sour and garlic chicken strips which were so so good! Enough for tomorrow's lunch too. Yum!

Fabulous food as always. All the dishes are great, but special mention for the plain chow mein - it goes with everything else so well (I take it as a side dish) and no-one else seem to do the noodels the same way (nice "weight" to them). Love 'em, and they were outstanding with tonight's Sweet & Sour King Prawns + egg fried rice.

We’ve eaten at this Chinese many times since moving to Beeston 2 years ago and it’s always been 5 star!

Although my order was delivered on time, to place your order, pay for it and then find it won't be delivered for 1 and a half hrs simply isn't good enough.

I ordered prawn chop suey. The lid had prawn chop suey written on it. It contained chicken chop suey. Otherwise, no problems

Missed chips off the order. Food not cooked properly, food missing key ingredients for example house special chow mein came with one prawn and one piece of beef with the rest chicken. Food was also delivered cold. Absolutely terrible order that we’d looked forward to all day, will not be using this restaurant ever again!!

Seaweed is normally my favourite but it was actually disgusting

The website said between 55 and 70 mins which would have made it 8.05pm at the latest. As soon as the we confirmed the order, the confirmation email said 8.35 then it actually arrived just after 9.10 Unless we receive a part tefund as compensation, we will never order from them again. This has happened before.

Whole family really enjoyed this takeaway. Tasted great and was hot!

Bland food should be called chucked dried rice

Ribs had no meat on them, spring rolls weren't very nice. Only went here as our usual was closed for Chinese new year. Never ever again.

We've been to a few Chinese food places but we always come back to this one! The food is divine, the portions great, they always listen to our weird requests, and they've never been late. Love this place.

I had a quarter of duck - there was barely any edible meat to make one single pancake. Terrible quality

Chow mein was barely warm and had burnt taste and everything had a weird taste only thing that tasted alright was chicken balls and chips

Good food; a tad expensive perhaps. But maybe unfair to compare it with the much-missed Luk-Wah.

I ordered some food from this takeaway through the ‘Just Eat’ app and once again had an excellent meal. Just ordered Lemon Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken with Rice. The food arrived pipping hot and tasted really good. Arrived before the due time which was also excellent. A great local Chinese.

Food was on time! Was good quality, the chinese style duck was abit bland. And the amount of crispy beef we had was pn the short sode but all together was a nice meal. Would order from here again

Ordered at 6. Scheduled originally at 7.10. Acceptable! Schedule changed to 7.40! Half acceptable, it was Saturday night. Delivered around 8, not acceptable. If I could block this restaurant I would. Food was warm not piping hot. Chicken balls contained very little chicken. Rest of the food was bland at best. There are better places nearby.

Food was BLAND. No flavour. I was hungry and all I wanted was some good food🥺 instead I got food seasoned with hope. NON EXISTENT HOPE. Truly disappointed. Food wasn’t very warm when it arrived. Wasn’t impressed with having to wait 1 hour and 30mins for a fairly simple order. The special fried rice was bland, the bone had been left in with the quarter duck, and there was hardly any sauce with the lemon chicken. Pancake roll was nice.

Came on time and hot, was very nice although i ordered a mixed veg chow mien and it only had mushrooms in which wasnt what i expected but overall i would order again!
