Oriental Fusion in Corby

Ordered a takeaway from this restaurant. Told it would be around 45 minutes. Unfortunately the food arrived well over an hour later and was cold. Lids not fitted properly to the cartons causing foid to spill out, some of the sauces had been damaged and leaked all over our other food. Tried to contact them to complain but no joy. Have now sent 3 emails to the restaurant, all of which have been ignored. Very disappointed and would never recommend or use again.

Ordered takeaway, not great. Seaweed tasted like it had been cooked in old oil. Ordered pad Thai which was more like tagliatelle with some odd sauce on. Pork balls were very gristley. Bbq ribs ok would not order again. Had better ready meals from supermarket

Went to oriental fusion for my birthday with family and friends. We had such a great time. The staff were very welcoming, the food was very good and I would recommend to everyone. BEST CHINESE IN TOWN!! Thank you again !

Enjoyed take away before so decided to go for sit down meal. Food quality, service and decor surpassed my expectations and cannot wait to return. All our food was hot, freshly prepared and delicious. Definitely going back to have seldom seen Chinese favourite lettuce wrap.

Down visiting family over Jubilee weekend and decided to go for a meal, always have trouble getting our daughter to eat out . Staff were so nice and friendly and chatted with her and made her giggle, food was excellent and she ate most of hers which was a plus will definitely go back next time we are down

Atmosphere is good, customer service acceptable, but food quality a bit low. Some of the food is near cold, and the deep fried food seemed just microwaved to warm from being previously made. Overall a bit pricy for what you get

The "boss" and the "billpayer" decided to avoid cooking and dine out here, mainly to avoid one of us having to choose who was cooking on a Saturday night. My rock, paper, scissors suggestion for who was to cook had been seriously badly recieved. How about a meal out? I offered quickly, whilst dodging the viscious punch to the chops. Initially I had thought the clenched fist was her "Rock", which I'd swiftly beaten with the flat hand of paper. But the paper became Normally we use the take away service and drive the 8 country miles home like Lewis Hamilton but with the added challenge of not spilling pad Thai up the footwell of the car. Winter months and road conditions twice leading me to have to rinse the mats and wring out the remainder of my tasty Pad Thai. Arriving at the location, and whilst dodging the Just Eat driver I was entertained by the glass floor and Koi carp. Clearly well fed, in the time I had before being seated, I hadn't yet worked out by who, where or how. We were sat in the window and I looked aimlessly at the menu digesting none of what I read whilst doing my utmost to neck all the prawn crackers left as a starter. The waitress arrived, whilst the Boss was ready to order the show vegan wasn't, but had eaten 95% of the prawn crackers - leaving the Boss a token 1 whilst she waited for me to consider the menu. Pad Thai, Vegetable Singapore Curry, Prawn Szechuan, Vermeccelli spicy noodles ordered. All very tasty and mopped up nicely with the prawn cracker I'd decided the Boss had now taken too long to claim. The curry was delicious with some fresh chillies adding great heat to the dish. One of the very same chillies bringing tears to my eyes and lodging in the back of my throat. No issue with the dish just my own chewing! Turns out that a hot chilli 🌶 which is usually removed with a quick cough, is more challenging since covid 19. Trying not to covid cough in a restaurant it turns out is quite tricky when there is a hot chilli lodged in your tonsils. But a good meal all round, well priced and entertaining people watching. Some of the stories I over heard making for excellent tales the following day. 4 stars. Great takeaway and very friendly lady waitress. If Just Eat delivered as far out as our place... it would be a more regular take away for us.

Amazing food, loved the selection of foods. The texture and quality of the food was spectacular. Amazing Christmas decorations around the restaurant, really detailed.

Half way through my dinner and I nearly choked on a shattered chicken bone. First and last time I’ll be ordering from here. Chicken chow mien should NOT have bones inside. They also said I could get my refund and it’s been 3 days and have not received anything!

Went on what was obviously a really busy night but the food took over 2 and a half hours to come and was cold. If the restaurant can’t handle that amount of customers then they shouldn’t book them in.

We always visit on a Wednesday evening for the ‘eat as much as you like’ deal. Food is always freshly cooked and looks and tastes delicious. Friendly staff too. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic meal with my family last night - felt very safe the Restaurant space between tables is very good following the government guidelines. The waitress is always very helpful the food was beautiful. We are coming back again to celebrate my sons birthday as it’s his Favourite place to eat. Take away service also available Great selection of beers wines and sprits too

Absolutely waste of money the whole delivery went in the bin. Chicken tasted days old chewy dry and vile. Duck noodles tasted like fish soup. Appalled they can get away with serving this food to anyone. Then don’t want to know when you contact them. Disgusting all round.

Mother’s Day dinner We rang just after 5pm on mothers day to order our food we was told over the phone there would be a delay with delivery due to it is very busy time of the year due to Covid people can’t go out so people are ordering more and more also remember if ordering over the phone people to order online so you can get a double back of ordering there’s your answer to the negative comments. We got our order within about 40 minutes and it was perfect great way to spend my Mother’s Day afternoon service is always fantastic on collection and over the phone food always hot and if we order extra sauce we get extra sauce if we asked for no vegetables I get no vegetables fantastic service I personally think oriental fusion are doing a great job considering the current situation trying to keep their business up and running during the current pandemic 😷

Food late and freezing. Tried to sort via just eat. Wouldn't let me as I'd already spoken to restaurant, the service was shocking. Just eat now say I have to sort out via the abrupt restaurant. Well done just very poor. Oriental Fusion, 1hr 30 mins for an order then ignorant attitude on calling.

Having made an order at 17.06 (opening time 17.00) I was thinking it would be quick to arrive, I was wrong. 18.50 arrived and still no delivery. I called the shop and asked where is our delivery. I was told it would be another 30 minutes. WHAT I SAID. How could this happen when 6 minutes after opening time it takes 2 hrs 20 minutes to get to the door of a customer. This was after paying the extra £2.00 delivery charge. Totally irresponsible, and no thought for their customers. This is the second time this has happened to me. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The food is great though i must say. BUT, after this second disappointment I won't using this disgraceful food outlet again, even to collect or sit in. A very angry customer. Good riddance.

This is our favourite Chinese in the town and we've tried a few! It just tastes so good and isn't too greasy. It's usually on time, sometimes it can be a bit late at peak times, but it is worth waiting for over its competitors.

We had never been to this restaurant before but decided to order a take away meal for collection. It was easy to order the meals online with a good choice on the menu, although we had to phone the restaurant to check when the food was ready for collection as this option was not available on the website. We were met by a very friendly lady when collecting the order and the food was excellent. Will definitely visit this restaurant again for a sit down meal in the future and highly recommend the food.

Just been in for a meal We come in thinking we was getting a takeaway but we was shown a few menus and decided to eat in and have the buffet all I can say is wow The service was amazing lovely lady knew all her items products, we had a lovely chat I could see with serving us and answering telephone orders sorting out the delivery guys this lady was amazing. Met up with friends,there was 6 of us .We were served quickly.We all had something different and it was all tasty .

Just had a family meal for 7 here and had a great evening. I'm a vegan and they made me my favourite meal that I wanted that wasn't specifically on their menu. They were very busy but still attentive without being overbearing. It was clean, food was fresh and delicious and good portions. Staff all wore masks. No complaints at all.

So me and my friend ordered from here and he got a Singapore chow main as he’s enjoying a meal he said something had jabbed him in the mouth and made him bleed I phoned them up to complain and all I got was just “I don’t know how that could have happened” then asking for photo evidence but there is no way to send it and not even offering a refund until I ask for it customer service is shocking I will not be ordering from there again photo evidence below.

Has to be 1 star. They took bookings that they couldn't accommodate. Has to be freed of the owners/managers. Waitress was over worked and they completely lost the plot with after 2 hours wait, having only had starters they brought cold dishes which was actually for another table - when we asked what the dish was she said she didn't know. We and other tables ended up leaving and paid for our starters. A terrible evening. If they weren't staffed why take the bookings?

The menu has a good variety, there are countless flavours of the vegetarian and meat options allowing lots of freedom to choose. The staff were excellent, they were really friendly and attentive to our needs. The service was prompt, it was clear that the food freshly cooked and well presented, overall it was brilliant. Portion wise there was plenty to eat and even more to take away. The food was very tasty and set at a reasonable price. Not only the food but the sitting area and bathrooms were very clean, we were able to have a delightful experience without having any concerns about anything. I would definitely come again, and highly recommend anyone to come here.

Inedible takeaway. I ordered Szechuan prawns which turned out to be a lake of horribly salty and inedible black bean sauce. No way Szechuan . So salty no way able to eat more than one take. Ugh shame on you .

Would give 0 if I could, remembered why we stop ordering from here there food always late and cold!my son's really wanted a Chinese take away and oriental fusion were the only one opened but they clearly can't deal with the demand,poor and cold food,we had food from are order missing,not even going to go in to be basically be called a lier over some chicken balls and half a duck we spent nearly £70 but to really top it off found a caterpillar in my starter !we wanted refund got offered a credit not sure they get we will never order from them again !

Very disappointing!! Hadn’t had a take away for a number of weeks due to lockdown and had heard good things about this place. Ordered food at 17.15, called at 18.30 as hadn’t arrived (hadn’t been told when I’d ordered that there was a long wait) they said something like my food was on the way, although I’m sure I heard one of the women in the background say the order hadn’t gone through properly! Called again at 19.15 to be told that the lady that had taken the order ‘must have put another ticket on top of ours’??!! Eventually arrived at 20.10, 3hours later!! The delivery driver said she’d expected to be answered at the door by a skeleton with how long we’d waited. Order wasn’t even correct and got a bottle of Irn Bru as an apology! Can safely say won’t be using them again!!

Ordered food and was told it would take between half an hour and - 45 mins. 2 hours later and still no food. Restaurant keep changing the time of delivery and it just doesn’t turn up !

Ordered Thai food, the dim sum was ok but soggy looked like it was frozen, then the worst Pad Thai I have ever eaten, greasy, bland, colourless and disgusting. Chucked it in the garden and even the birds wouldn't touch it. Contacted them to complain but not interested. Will never order from them again.

Ordered a delivery at 18.20 on xmas eve and was given a 1 hour timeslot, expected it to take 2 hours seeing as it was xmas eve so gave them a little leeway. What happened after is nothing short of extraordinary, rang up after 2 hours to see if it had left the restaurant yet. Finally got through and spoke to a woman who frankly did not have a clue what was going on, 4 times she muttered something then put the phone on the side while she took more orders. Now I'm no restaurateur but if you are already struggling to fulfil your orders you already have why on earth would you accept more??? The staff on the phone were dow down right rude, not apologetic at all, more concerned about taking peoples money and not providing what was paid for. Was finally told on phone meal wasnt ready however assured me that it would be 30/40 minutes, gave it another hour then rang back again, only this time the sneaky gets had unplugged their phone as it just rang and rang and rang for about 20 minutes. Now this is a sit in restaurant with the phone on the counter, thers is no way they would have let that phone ring for that long whilst people were eating. Disgusting behaviour from an established restaurant, how dare you treat customers this way when you already have our money in your till. Finally at 22.20 yes that's 4 hours after ordering the food arrived, and quite frankly I wouldn't feed it to my dog. Absolutely disgusting, worst Chinese I have ever had. Shame on you Oriental fusion, I will never use your establishment again and I will be spreading the word to stop anyone else getting treated the way we did.

We saw a flyer at Tesco and saw it had changed hands so decided to give it a go.The takeaway was AMAZING, very tasty, lots of garlic, and more traditional than many local takeaways. We would love to dine at the buffet, although it is a little pricey, probably worth every penny but for a family meal its over our budget.We'll definately be back for takeaways though!

While the restaurant area is fairly basic the service and food was excellent.Having decided on the main menu the courses were substantial enough for us and we couldn't make the dessert. After the meal had an interesting discussion with the lady owner about the underfloor aquariam.Happy to go there agian when in the area.

When looking for somewhere to eat I like great value and the buffet menu provides this even on the nights when they put 2 quid on The food must be good The service great Oriental Fusion has all of these plus being a great venue

I gave this restaurant a poor review as they had a one out of five hygiene rating. They have now got new management and a five star hygiene rating. For this reason and the fact that the food is excellent and service superb I have changed my review to a five star rating. Well done Oriental Fusion.

Called in tonight for an impromptu takeaway and it was fabulous. The fillet of beef was plentiful and very tender. Excellent quality food enjoyed by the whole family. Thank you

A first visit to a recommended restaurant. This is a pleasant (if slightly dark) restaurant. The waiter and waitress are attentive and the food which is not really fusion food (ie a mixture of different cultures on one plate) but many distinctly different meals from different cultures is excellent.

The food was too salty egg fried rice had no eggs had to make food for my son who eats that. That was my second order and I've made my conclusion.... not worth it!!

Very disappointing. I always have the Thai Red Chicken Curry. The last two times it has been awful. Weird taste and quite greasy. Nothing like it usually is. Won't have it again. Also the chicken satay skewers are getting chewier and the bags of prawn crackers seem to be getting smaller. Time to try somewhere else.

my wife’s food was great, however I’m vegetarian and ordered a mushroom omelette, 2nd mouthful had an odd texture and when I looked there were strips of chicken in it.

I am a bit of an expert on Chinese food. I have had a lot in my time and know good food when I eat it. I don’t usually put a review but this food was so vile I felt I had to! the chicken was completely dried out in all 3 dishes i ordered! the sweet and sour sauce was revolting the rice tasted of soap the noodle dish was rancid sort guys but I won’t be ordering again!

Food arrived 15 minutes after the scheduled time, which the restaurant had already added 20 minutes to, the pot of sweet and sour sauce was hotter than the rest of my order combined. Chips and spring rolls were cold and soggy , chow mein and egg fried rice were lukewarm. Disappointing as i’ve enjoyed meals from here before but won’t be ordering again. Man on the phone was helpful and polite at least.

The food came 30 minutes late. So 1hr 30 minutes after I placed the order. Unfortunately it was mostly inedible and went in the bin. What a waste of my hard earned money. I ordered Crispy Duck pancakes, and most of it didn't resemble meat. It had been overcooked. I love it crispy, but this was extreme. I ordered spicy prawns, the batter was brittle and the prawns inside were so dry and chewy, you couldn't eat them. I ordered lettuce wraps, and came a box of what can only be described as slush. I've never seen the content of lettuce wraps like that. The chicken satay starter was edible and the kids enjoyed the chicken rice and chicken balls. I won't be ordering from here again, nor recommending it. I was hugely disappointed, and we are so easy going that it takes a lot for me to feel disappointed. 2/3's of this dinner went in the bin as inedible. Awful.

That has to be one of the best tasting takeaways I have ordered in a long time . The food was fresh with taste not bland and not full of awefull sauce congratulate the chefs.

We could not cut the chicken with a knife let alone eat it. It was hard and dry. The steak was dry and unpalatable. i had to ring x2 to complain & although the meal was inedible the restarrant would only refund £10 out of the total cost of £24.

The food from this restaurant is usually good. However, tonight they delivered the food an hour late. I rang after 15 minutes to be told my food was with the driver and would be with me in the next ten minutes. Twenty minutes later still no food. I rang again. The lady said she would ring the driver and get back to me. Twenty minutes later, still no food or a phone call. Once again I rang to be told she couldn’t get hold of the driver. I asked why she didn’t ring - she said she didn’t think there was any point as she couldn’t get hold of the driver! She also said they were busy! They shouldn’t have accepted my order if they couldn’t fulfil it! It did finally arrive - they should have compensated me but didn’t. Still there are worse things in the world!!

this was the first time ive ordered from here, after thinking I fancied a change, I was told my order would be delivered at 9:55. finally delivered at 10:35. the food was cold and didnt taste nice atall. sorry to say I will not be a returning customer

Admittedly I haven’t visited the restaurant itself in some years however, my partner and I regularly order delivery from Oriental Fusion.

Food was late 30 minutes, couldn't call the restaurant it was closed at their opening times.The food was cold and old. Ribs looks like two days old, cooked many times. A shame that can't add photos! Last time I have ordered the food there.

Food was over 20 mins later. I phoned to check and told it was on its way. When delivered was told driver had only just got into work!! Most of the food was ok apart from the dry noodles and the two portions of chicken balls were so over cooked you couldn't bite into them. I phoned about the balls and was told to call back in a minute as he had to speak to management. I ended up having to call back to be told they could probably send some more but it would take 30 mins. I tried to say we would have finished our meal by then so what could they do. I was told if I got off the phone quicker the order would be quicker. Rude much. Decided then to have a refund for balls. No sorry or recompense. Lastly they could offer freebies when spending over £60. Lost custom.

Food was still a good temperature despite being late. Chips were a bit soggy but otherwise all good.

The preparation and delivery time was good but that was possibly THE worst Chinese I have ever had🤢 everything in the box was pretty much scraps, some of the onion rings were literally just batter with nothing inside, some of it also tasted reheated, there was a big spiky bit of grissle in one of the spare ribs which my partner nearly choked on. Not trying to be horrible towards the staff but we will not be taking our custom here again

I bought a set meal takeaway and had to through away about 75% of it. Dry chicken you couldn't cut with a knife, let alone chew and tasteless chewy beef. The prawn dish was also tasteless and the prawns weren't even de-veined. Starters had been deep fried so you couldn't bite without breaking your teeth. I used to love this place but not any more.

Visiting family at the weekend and this place was booked for a large group, Where do I begin ,, the plastic tableware should have been a warning the food was poor and cold the drinks were very expensive the toilets filthy and the smell coming from the carp in the underfloor tank put me off the family who had raved about the place on previous visits were unhappy and will not be visiting this restaurant again oh and to top it off they don't mention that they have already added a service charge to your bill give it a miss

It’s been a few years since we have been here, used to see it as somewhere a bit more expensive but worth it for the nice food and nicer decor than anywhere else local. Not a massive Chinese fan but always liked it here.

I was allowed to place my order, was told it would be delivered at 10.45pm, it gets to 11.05 and we call the restaurant but no answer. So I check on just-eat and they are “currently offline” and not taking orders. I received an email confirmation to say they had my order and wasn’t informed at any point that they were no long taking orders. So we were just sat there waiting for food that wasn’t coming. Very frustrating after a long hard day at work.

My favourite place to order Chinese food. Awesome flavours and always high quality.

The lady on phone was lovely the driver was just taking so long the roads did have snow on them but the main roads were fine to drive on so being 1 hour late wasn’t really an excuse I also didn’t get offer a part re-fund or anything either tho I said I’ll be dissatisfied with the food as I knew it would be cold and soggy.

Food was late and cold, I rang the manager and he told me to put it in the microwave and the reason for the late delivery was that kings wood is in outskirts of Corby, won’t be going back.

All food good except the duck which has send particles in it. We called restaurant and they said it was crushed ainseed. But it's send or fine glass. We have filtered out the sand or glass after soaking the duck in water. I can't believe this it's the second time in a row. We have had z problem. My wife has eaten a little but noticed straight away. We are going to report it as this really is a health hazard
