Great prices, amazing food, kind staff. Best Chinese I’ve eaten out in a very long time. I had Szechuan Beef with egg fried rice, one of the most amazing meals I’ve had in ages. Couldn’t have higher praise.

The waiter had a very bad attitude and made me feel upset after eating. In addition, only cash is accepted, and the exchange rate of RMB is high.

The food is excellent. Conversation with staff hard. Mainly Chinese eating there.

The food was not served for a very long time and they said we were overtime and didn't have anything we wanted. The food was not delicious. All 10 of us had stomachaches the next day after eating it.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Slow and dishonest. We had hotpot buffet (£26++) and was only limited to two hours but they took MORE THAN TWO HOURS to serve our food when the restaurantg was obviously not busy (in fact, only 50% full). We rushed them couple of times, they even misplaced our orders and we had to place order again. We waited till our pot went dry. For the third time, a super rude lady told us that we have exceeded our two hours and we are “wasting” their time. PLEASE. Who is wasting whose time?? The slow services or hungry guests waiting to be served?? Worst attitude I have ever experienced in Sheffield. We all agreed that they purposely drag their services to avoid us eating to our hearts’ content. Will never patronise.

We went on a Saturday evening, the service was pretty bad but the food was tasty (while lukewarm). Our orders weren't taken for a while and the waiter seemed confused and stressed during our order. A waitress came to us after 15 minutes and asked us to order again as the order had been lost. We then recieved our drinks at last and the starters came out quickly and were really tasty and hot. The main dishes came in good time but they were fairly cold and it seemed like they'd been left waiting. Our side dishes of rice didn't appear until we asked and we realised they'd just forgotten to give them to us, so they were also sitting out before serving. Overall great food but terrible service, therefore the prices don't seem reasonable.

Authentic Chinese food aimed at the Chinese students studying at the nearby University. Tasty and very quick. If you don't look out of the windows, you could feel that you really were in China.

Two fingers up to social distancing! I saw an NHS employee enter to give the owner a leaflet about Test & Trace. He was very polite and friendly, but the owner extremely rudely ushered him out of the building. Disgusting behaviour... AVOID!

Really enjoyed an authentic Chinese hotpot. Maybe need someone to properly translate the menu as there are a few hilarious errors. Staff really friendly.

Amazing food, great prices and lovely space

For lunch I had beef in a black bean sauce, although the beef was a little fatty the rest of it was really nice. The food was served quickly, and in the price was included a starter of soup, and lemonade or Chinese Tea. All for £7.80

Lugar perfecto después de una larga caminata bajo la lluvia! Comida reconfortante para decir lo menos. Buena temperatura cómoda cuando entramos. Muchos platos diferentes para elegir, pero mi esposo y yo solo queríamos fideos calientes. Me gustaron sus fideos de mariscos y a él le gustaron mis fideos Ho Fun. No, no intercambiamos al final. Gran porción pero lo terminamos todo. Sin embargo, no estaban demasiado interesados en los siumai, estaban bien, no los volverán a tener. Buen valor para el dinero. El servicio deja mucho que desear, podría ser más amable, pero oye, vienes por la comida ¿verdad?

Perfect place for a hot meal after a cold walk in the rain. We loved our noodles especially the beef ho fun. Good value for money. Comfortable temperature. Service could be friendlier, but hey, you come for the food.

Apparently the restaurant is still charging students 50p when they pay by card, which is ILLEGAL in this country! When I tell the guy it is illegal to charge customer when they pay by card, he simply said he doesn’t care. Disgraceful people really.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good food but very salty main. Lunch deal was good value for city centre. Delicious soup!

Visited recently for the second time in recent years (I visit Sheffield annually with friends). Once again an enjoyable meal. The restaurant has a very extensive menu with interesting dishes, portion sizes are pleasingly generous and staff friendly.

Ordered takeaway to my hotel ! Fantastic food ! One of the best Chinese I’ve had.

An absolute pleasure to dine in. Staff are all extremely polite, welcoming and very helpful. The standard of the food is outstanding. It's presentation and it's flavours are exquisite. Highly recommend this to anyone. Will return for many more visits

Como estábamos pidiendo, pudimos ver al camarero enojarse (hombre mayor). Sin dejar de confirmar el pedido, el camarero nos dio la espalda y comenzó a alejarse. Le pregunté cortésmente si no sería tan grosero y nos encantaría irnos si nuestra costumbre no fuera bienvenida. A esto él te respondió, así que nos fuimos.Como cliente que paga, lo menos que puede esperar es que su pedido se realice con cortesía y correctamente. I have been visited this restaurant for several times as the food was acceptable although not very delicious and the price is reasonable. However, I will never visit this place ever again. There is this waiter with extremely bad service. He was being impolite while ordering food and had kept me waited for a long time at the counter while he was doing his own things. This service is utterly unacceptable! I would excuse you if you could just apologize for having to get your things done before you get to me. The worse part that cross my bottom line was, I have decided to use card payment and he didn't tell me there is this additional 50p charges! No other restaurant have the same charges, nobody would expect you have got additional charges! I only realize that after paying the bills and then I ask him about it, but he did not show any sense of apology. Not sure if that person is a boss or an employee, but if I were the boss, I will fire him for sure. Since the food is not very special either and now that the service is so bad, I will never visit again, nor would I recommend this place to any of my friends.

Y normalmente el personal es bastante educado.Sin embargo, en mi última visita, nuestro servidor fue un poco grosero, pero no nos importó mucho hasta que llegamos a la caja fuerte y él se negó a permitir que mi (mujer) amiga pague por separado diciendo "tú eres el hombre, tú pagas" a mi.Esta es una conducta absolutamente inaceptable y me molestó mucho a mí ya mi amigo debido a que él se negó repetidamente a permitirle pagar.Me gusta la comida aquí, pero no volveré por esto.

The food is fabulous, well presented, and absolutely delicious. It’s also very reasonably priced. My son is a uni student and on our next visit will be eating here again.

Went here for dinner with my partner as he'd heard the food was good from friends. The food was amazing, as promised. Huge portions and really reasonable prices. I'd recommend getting the honey roast pork, if you enjoy flavoursome belly pork. The wait staff were a little meh, and it was a bit nippy inside, but well worth a visit for good Chinese food.

The Best Chinese Restaurant in Sheffield, it serves excellent food, undoubtedly the best Crispy Aromatic duck in the City. Other favouries include 3 roasties, Braised Beef Curry and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Very fast and friendly service we would not go anywhere else for Chinese food.

We come in quite a lot and we are always impressed. The food and the service is excellent, we would highly recommend. Especially the won ton noodle soup!

Visited here with work colleagues for an early dinner. I hadn’t been her before so let my friends order and I wasn’t disappointed. We shared some bbq belly pork, tofu, a side of veg and a beef hot pot. The beef hot pot was just amazing. I’ve never had such a fabulous dish before. The only down side was that there was so much choice on the menu, if you were visiting for the first time you could easily be overwhelmed. Thankfully I was with friends who ordered for me. I will return.

Amazing Chinese restaurant! They do very good lunch time deals, must recommend. It is a real authentic experience, they serve proper Chinese food rather than the western Chinese nonsense you get everywhere else these days.

Rollitos vegetarianos de primavera, gambas Dim Sum tamaño king, pollo picado crujiente (picante) y fideos blandos de langostinos - todo vino rápido, humeante, fresco y con una sonrisa.

We came here and splurged on crsipy aromatic duck, garlic prawns, singapore noodles and wan ton soup. All served promptly. We shall come here again!

Excellent lunch menu for stressed time poor executives. Around £7 to £8 for a menu with tremendous choice including soup and a soft drink or Chinese tea. Great atmosphere and speedy service. Did I mention the portions were enormous?

A cheap but very poor in quality of food,plain tasteless and without flavour of any sort.Obviously aimed at the ever growing large Chinese students in Sheffield, nowhere near like Wong Ting,China Red or Zing vaa . We had a fabulous meal here. The staff were attentive, and the food was excellent. The spicy fish stew is worth the visit (if you can handle chilli).

Brilliant place, no frills in terms of decor or service but the food is amazing. Peppercorn chicken is the standout item on the menu.

This is the nearest restaurant to my place of work which is very nice for me. In the heart of Sheffield University it is always busy and for good reason. It is very popular with Chinese people in particular which is always a good sign.The food is really tasty and excellent value especially the lunchtime specials which are £6.80 or £7.50 for a very generous portion of food plus a bowl of soup and a (soft) drink. They recently expaned the lunchtime menu. It now has a bigger selection of dishes that vegetarians can eat and some very tasty new dishes to suit people who like Szechuan style hot and spicy dishes. The shredded pork with picked chillies is particularly tasty. The service is efficient and friendly. If I ever move away from Sheffield this is a place I wil miss.

This is a great restaurant, which is popular with students and you can see why. The food is great value for money. But, this is not to say that it doesn't offer you a great pre-theatre meal, if you are not at Uni.

My fav Chinese rest in the entire UK! Used to go there from 2011 to 2015. Love and miss the food. Highly recommend beef in black bean sauce and sweet and sour chicken. I wish you had a branch here in Astana!

We have been dining as students for 3 years in Sheffield, and for 3 years we've had Orient Express! Usually quite busy, with a large variety to offer you, the portions are quite good (not too stingy with the meat/seafood) Particular favourites of ours would be The Salt and Pepper chicken wings (So far the best we've ever had) Big Bowl Noodle soup 3 Roastie style, Braised Beef and the Special Fried Rice in Lotus Leaf. We always come back, the staff are usually quite nice and the food is out quick too! Good for just a couple or even as a big group too!
