Orange Bay Cafe in Sutton

Was expecting better food if I’m honest. Found staff very unapproachable, not a very nice atmosphere. Felt bad for checking my food was all there as the look the woman gave me was as if she was offended. I do this whenever ordering takeaway food. Wish I hadn’t bothered giving this place a try but it was local.

I would not go back and would not recommend. Never experienced anything like it. And the staff are soo rude!!

I came to this restaurant expecting some really nice boneless curry goat, and was absolutely put off one of my fav dishes for life. Worst I've had and was ill after. Tried to complain and staff were rude. Havent heard great things about this place since. Wouldn't recommend eating from here.

Fresh food is that a joke? Was definitely reheated will not be returning. Had my family from leeds we was all disappointed

Got the food completely wrong and found the woman really vacant, wasnt interested in correcting their mistake. I think customer service is really key and here there seems to be NONE. Not happy

I was told about this restaurant by a very good friend who told me that they had tasted the most delicious boneless curry goat ever and that her husband loved the jerk chicken, so I thought for Valentine's myself and my husband will have their food. We have visted many different carribean restaurants and been invited to many parties where we've had carribean food but I swear on my life that the food we ordered from orange Bay was way out of league. The curry goat, jerk chicken, macaroni cheese, and fish was absolutely the best, hand on heart. you don't need to add seasoning because the seasoning and the spiciness was spot on we will definitely be visiting them often.

Love getting food from orange bay! Had it 2 nights in a row! The lady is so lovely, even remembered me which makes it abit more personal! I love the sauce on the jerk chicken and was even given a little pot of extra sauce so thank you! Look forward to my next order!

I had the boneless jerk chicken curry and plain rice, which was ok. I have a big issue with the statement in the window which states that the food is 'freshly made to order'. This is simply not true, the food is pre-cooked and chucked in a microwave. So, not fresh and not made to order then.

It's a cosy unassuming little cafe with small number of tables which I find much preferable to any chain style places as it's got character. Had a fantastic goat curry with rice and peas - full of flavour and was delicious. Roughly a tenner but was certainly full afterwards. There's jerk chicken, plantain etc and plenty of Caribbean delights to try - I fully intend to make a few stops here to sample. Believe the website has a just eat or similar delivery option - nice to have something like this in the area as it's great quality and nothing else like it.

This is a small independent caribbean restaurant with an extensive selection of caribbean classics. If you like jerk and curry then you are sorted, what's more caribbean than that. I had the quarter of sweet jerk chicken, and the quarter was more like a half of chicken as the leg was the biggest I've seen for a while. I was slightly apprehensive because of the SWEET jerk, however my fears were misplaced as the sauce had a good balance of flavour and a slight tingle of heat. The pineapple sponge was a small caribbean portion, which is LARGE, but very tasty and moist with good custard. The salt fish fritters were non-descript, the only disappointment, so overall a very good meal, excellent value and genuine taste of the caribbean, highly recommended.

This is a new Caribbean cafe in Sutton Surrey that has a large menu to cover everyone's tastes. they sell sandwiches , cakes , Pasta etc And coffee and tea and all types of soft drinks and all there food is freshly hand made in the cafe everyday. The food I have had the pleasure of eating was super tasty and very healthy as the jerk chicken is oven baked and not fried. The prices are very reasonable I would highly recommend visiting 😀
