I would really like to praise the manager of the beckenham oneils his name is Charlie and I could not thank him enough for the effort he put in tonight to make sure I was safe there was some people in oneils that made the atmosphere uneasy I put my drink down and see a man pop up next to it so was to scared to drink my drink just in case it had been spiked I came to Charlie and told him my concerns he told me not to drink anymore just in case replaced my drink and had the bouncers keep and eye and he himself kept checking in there needs to be more Charlie’s in this world because if it wasn’t for him I would of gone home worried I had been spiked he made me feel at ease and would recommended Charlie to anyone thank you Charlie for making my night enjoyable again thank you from the bottom of my heart there needs to be more people like you that actually care

The staff here are beyond fantastic, always friendly, always accommodating - genuinely a wonderful group of people. The food is inexpensive and good value for money. A grest spot for good food, sports and friendly service. Thank you for being so kind over the years.

Great inexpensive food, tv's to watch sports on, comfy booths, good service.

This is a great venue to meet up with friends. The team are really cheerful and helpful always ready to accommodate parties and requests. The food they serve is excellent, good quality and always consistent. The events hosted there are welcoming and well organised with the guest being the centre of all they do, their recent St. Patrick’s day celebration is testament to that. I would highly recommended O’Neills Beckenham.

Off the cusp, pop in for some good tunes and a boogie. Sober night enjoying the vibe on the dance floor. Good friendly atmosphere and responsive DJ. I'll be back!

St. Patricks Day 🍀 was Amazing! The staff went all out and the atmosphere was brilliant. They do A top Guiness and Black! I Really had a good time.

Awful staff. Full of bad attitude from when we arrived. A service to be expected from minimum wage millennials these days I suppose. However when I was refused a drink for being “too drunk” (after one bottle) and I asked to speak to the manager. I was confronted by an aggressive jumped up middle age woman with a 20 year old barman standing behind her, very intimidating! As a 40ish year old man, out with clients, funding an empty (pretty shabby bar) being refused drinks after being let in by great bouncers (20 mins previously) for being too drunk! Absolutely laughable, apparently this venue has a reputation for being like this, even a local cab driver confirmed it. Stay well clear if you are looking to have a couple of drinks and a nice evening, goodness forgive you if you want to enjoy yourself! How this branch of (usually a great chain) is still trading is well beyond me. My only guess is it is subsidised by the better pubs run by professional managers. Written ‘now’ 15/3/24 at 22.40 by an apparent man who’s drunk.

Great place to watch sport in Beckenham and I prefer the beers and food on offer to the place next door. Staff are all very nice and welcoming . Lucky to have it down the road from me

Cracking O’Neill’s this. Inviting atmosphere, well kept beer, quality food and cracking staff. Rachel made us feel particularly welcome and attended to our party with courtesy and smiles for our entire time there. Thanks for a great chain pub experience. A+

I went here for dinner after sight seeing in London I was staying near by and I have to say the service was second to none the staff was so friendly and they welcomed us like we were there every day the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and couldn’t do anymore for us I’d highly recommend this pub to anyone and I will definitely come back 100%

I always have a great time at Oneills Beckenham. Josie and the bar staff are amazing. Josie starts pouring my pint as soon as I walk in the door and sets up my tab without me needing to ask. Great friendly service. Food is great and they always show the sports on the big screen tv. Highly recommended.

I'm not a fan of chain pubs usually, but this venue is far better than most. The prices are very reasonable for the area and the staff are friendly and full of conversation. A perfect pint of Guinness and a decent burger for £12.50 is a sound investment. All served with a smile - Josie on this particular occasion was her usual, jokey / helpful presence.

Came here with a few friends to watch the football and have food , had a good day out the was a nice atmosphere and staff was very friendly and accommodating kane and Rebecca was very helpful.

Popped in with some friends for a bite to eat and some drinks. Was very happy with the food and the service was brilliant. Staff were happy and polite to me and my friends and even noticed how nice they were to other people being served. Love coming here

This is my favourite pub in Beckenham! All of the staff are amazing. Especially Rebecca, Dan, Harrison & Charlie. They also make the best cheesy garlic bread ever!!

Great atmosphere and food was excellent. The staff were very friendly. The layout and the service was so good that I was there four evenings that week. Looking forward to my next visit to Beckenham in March.

Website says dog friendly but we were asked what type of dog and told there were no tables. There was a table reserved 30 minutes after we arrived and we only wanted a quick drink to warm up so sat at it. Was visited by the barmaid and told to leave asap or sit in the garden. Told dogs that bark are not allowed. He only barked when she approached. Gave a stern remark on my exit. Dont think it really is dog friendly. Shame as so close to beckenham place park with lots of dog walkers wanting a warm respite from the cold. Nice enough pub otherwise but don’t feel anyone in the customer service industry should ever be that rude to paying customer 2 or 4 legged

Spent new years here in 2023/4 and the night couldn’t have been made better. Brilliant staff and a great atmosphere. If you only have time for one pint in Beckenham, I urge you drink it here.

Was happy to see they now have ciroc, service was good, reminding us last drinks are available now and specifically asked us so good result 👍🏾

There is nothing special about this place . Too many rules . Middle of winter. no hat, no hoods. Only diet sodas which spoiled my drinks.

Great Service by Josie, customer service was outstanding. Will definitely come back soon! I had the Philly steak sandwich on my last visit and it was delicious. Food was out on time and Josie checked to see if I was enjoying the meal. 10/10 I hope I see Josie on my next visit!

Your 5 tapas for £22 was very poor quality. Even for a £5 it would still be bad value

By far my favourite pub in Beckenham. Visited last Friday with a few friends for a bite to eat and a few drinks. The food was delicious and value for money. We all shared pizza’s and Tapas. We ended up staying longer than expected due to there being a DJ and we danced the night away. All the staff were very welcoming and myself and friends felt totally at ease all evening.

Irish lady manager, makes you feel uncomfortable. She’s very rude and constantly stares. Second account with this lady being rude. Also another friend of mine had the same experience with this woman. We won’t be returning! Awful lady!!!

We came to eat and drink there as we had vouchers. We didn't have to wait to long for our food.

It’s not my usual style of pub being a grumpy old git, but the staff are great from the top down. So many chain pubs have faceless, disinterested staff - your guys are great.

Disappointed! run out of steak, sausages were out of date, was told the kitchen had shut having put two orders in then being told the food wasn't available. Had to ask for the manager to get something

Got denied entry before we even came in just because the manager didnt like the look of us. So long story short we came to the entrance and the managwr said no hats so i said can i go sort out my hair in the toilet and il keep my hat off, her response was to deny us entry completely for no reason, wont even give us a reason and wont even give us her name i think this was extremely unprofessional and i have never felt so discriminated in my life, we have been to this place multiple times always good enregy and always good with security but still no convincing the manager as she had her mind set before we even enetered the place, date 25th August 2023, someone should really consider her position as a manager because ahe is clearly not sufficient or professional at her job.

Great pub meals. It was a busy lunchtime service, but everything was ready in no time at all.

Went with my mates to the O'Neils and was served by a wonderful woman named Josie. She was pure bants and made us laugh a lot. Made sure she looked after us and even came to the table to ask if we'd like another round. She's very good and we will be going back when she's on shift for some more laughs. Food is also top notch 👌🏾

Visited Saturday, with a group of friends, we were served by Chloe, she was so quick, knew exactly what to recommend when some of our party didn't know what they wanted to drink, full of banter and smiles!

Great food, great music, fantastic sevice. DJ's are always open to suggestions and the bar staff are always smiling.

Flew up from South Africa to visit some family. Was pretty insane going to a random place to drink in the UK to discover the bartender was also from South Africa. Had the best time with Rebecca who checked in with us a few times to make sure our drinks weren't empty and made sure we had something to eat. She somehow twisted our arms to come back before we go back home so see you guys soon! Highly recommend if you're looking for good food and drinks at a reasonable price. The exchange rate is ridiculous for South Africans, so finding this place was a nice breath of fresh air.

Best pint of Guinness in London. Love how Josh put a clover on it every time. Josh and Josie make a great team and make you feel so welcome.

What an amazing at atmosphere. The food was great especially the wings but the standout for me was the service and how they made an old man so welcome (I turn 82) next year. Well done Josh and Josie. I’ll be back

Chloe customer service is fantastic, always full of energy when I come in, always goes above and beyond.

Would highly recommend this pub - good food, great atmosphere and all at decent prices. What more could you ask for! The staff are always welcoming and helpful - especially Chloe who makes the most amazing cocktails, and is always attentive. Her service is spot on, ensuring you get served quickly. 👏 Even when busy Chloe is so good at multi-tasking and being prepared behind the bar and serving food, it's always an enjoyable experience no matter the time of day!

Would have been 5 star but unfortunately the music brought it down by 2 stars and the size of the dance floor takes off another point. Music was awful to dance to one minute it was upbeat the next song it was depressing slow and the whole dance floor was shouting for the next song. Would recommend to someone with a bipolar music taste.
