My friend and I were on a day out to a gallery. We decided to pop by to have a nice meal before heading home. We had a corbasi (authentic fresh Turkish soup) each I had lamb and my friend had the chicken. The food was delicious the service warm and friendly. Just what we needed on a crisp January day , fresh warm, tasty and healthy. Visit this hidden gem of Stratford. Ignore, macdonalds, Costa, pret and the chains. Go for your local independent bistro. #loveyourlocal

Had a couple of day’s in Stratford came across a little cafe. It was excellent great tasting food and friendly helpful staff with prices so reasonable for London

We ordered the halloumi and sausage meze as well as 2 X Lamb and Humus wrap. It was divine!!! Just delicious food, great service. Food came out quick enough. We were two very full and very satisfied customers and will return again. Highly recommended!

Ordered lasagne was cold mainly but chips were hot. Lasagne cost £11.50 as a meal snd was overpriced and a waste of money. My friend had omelette and hers was too. Can only think they left the food on counter and forgot about it. Also the mince looked and odd colour not like beef mince. Didn’t complain but will never order that again.

Visited the Olive and Lemon Cafe over the weekend for breakfast. No complaints at all. A wonderful place with a really nice feel to it. The service was good and the breakfast was nicely cooked and very filling the coffee's were tasty to. Will be back in the future.

Been here now several times and such a friendly team where nothing in not too much trouble, food reasonably priced with healthy size and also you can click and collect which is equally as good, overall an enjoyable experience and highly recommend

I was sat in the restaurant and witnessed the staff be very rude to other customers. We all understand the need to wear face masks but when you ask customers to wear face masks but aggressively and in a rude way, it is really unpleasant to sit there as a customer. I witnessed many cases in my time sat there including to a police officer who subsequently removed his neck pass and challenged their rude and aggressive manner. My meal was ok but the coffee was unfortunately not proper, ie, milk and coffee burnt and not at the right temp nor presented well. Won’t be going back.

Restaurant caught our eye walking past so we decided to stop in for lunch. Food was delicious and the portion was very well matched with the cost of the dish. Extremadamente decepcionado esta vez. A los 9 meses de embarazo estaba desesperada por desayunar, pedí lo más rápido que se me ocurrió que era el desayuno vegano. Los miembros de mi familia habían pedido comidas que retrasaron nuestra comida. Además, cuando finalmente llegó la comida, todos fueron servidos antes que yo. Esperé 45 minutos por un desayuno que debería haber tomado 15 minutos o menos. No hace falta decir que cuando llegó, ya no podía comer porque había dejado atrás el hambre. Muy decepcionante y no volveré de nuevo con prisa.

A highly recommended café close to Stratford station with lovely furniture inside and delicious food. An ideal place to chill or to have dinner with friends and family with Turkish specialities surrounded by an overall cozy environment.

We attended Olive and Lemon as a party of seven for a farewell party and I am so glad we did! We had a choice of dining areas and decided we’d go al fresco and sit at the tables provided outside. From the very moment we arrived the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and perfect for sharing. Endless amounts of different mezes and fresh flat breads got us ready for a delicious feast! We ordered seafood and meat variations from the charcoal grill options as well as halloumi and salmon/avocado salads respectively. We also added a few casseroles to complete the culinary experience. The food is made with so much love and care that you cannot help but be impressed by the dedication this restaurant shows ensuring they are catering for your every need. Glasses were never empty and we had plenty of Efes pilsner to keep the Turkish theme going! There is an excellent drinks menu with plenty of options to cater for all. We ended the evening with traditional Turkish coffees, which was the perfect end to a wonderful evening. I’d like to thank Tunç and the staff for such a wonderful evening and we will most certainly be back again. You made our experience so enjoyable with your beautiful hospitality...so thank you.

I've been here several times, saturday afternoon I ordered a Turkish coffe what was great and didn't expect that the waiter brought me little cake complimentary with the coffe what was great . Thank you again for great service !

I came on 15/03/20 around 4pm, with my wife and 1 year old,order a pomegranate salad and lamb kofte wrap, the lamb was not cooked properly, raw meat and fat pieces inside, I tried to get the attention of staff however no one was available. so I waited for 15mins till waiter came, I told him its raw he said its supposed to be like this, I've eaten here before and it's not like this at all. he didnt offer any replacement refund or anything. I myself work in hospitality and I know the procedure of complaints and they did not deal with this well at all. I wont be recommending this restaurant to anyone again. really disappointed as I like this restaurant.

We received absolutely wonderful service from all of the staff at olive and lemon last Saturday for a pre-theatre meal. The food was delicious and the live music that accompanied it gave a lovely vibe. We will definitely be returning next time we visit the area.

Had lunch with colleagues at this place and I enjoyed my food thoroughly (I struggled to leave crumbs on my plate). I wasn't too impressed with the waiting time though -the food took almost an hour before it arrived. But, I will return again and I recommend this place. PS: it has seating on two levels.

Fui a este cruce entre un café y un restaurante del Medio Oriente, como "Post Xmas Lunch" de mi trabajo, en un grupo de 9. Estaba completamente lleno abajo, cuando llegamos, y llegamos bastante tarde desde nuestra oficina, así que me sentí muy aliviado de haber reservado una mesa arriba (¡el personal mencionó nuestra tardanza y no los culpo!). Me impresionó la cocina abierta y el uso de plantas reales en todas partes, incluidos varios olivos en el exterior. I stumbled across this small cafe on my way to Westfield with a friend, it is a lovely little restaurant and I could immediately see it was popular due to how packed it was. Great food and service!

El ambiente y el personal eran geniales.Y la comida absolutamente fresca y sabrosa. . . Teníamos el tocino y aguacate ciabatta y el increíble desayuno mediterráneo. . . y dos latte. . .¡No puedo esperar a volver a Stratford en febrero para volver y probar más platos!

I was told to go here on a recommendation, otherwise wouldn't have noticed it tucked away off the busy streets with the rain pouring - but now I feel I too need to spread the word! Hands down one of the best meals out I've ever had, the portion was huge but so incredibly tasty, you could really sense the home-cooking and experience in the dish (I'm getting hungry just writing this review thinking about it!). Unquestionably good value for money, and all this was topped off by the most welcoming host I have ever come across, and a beautiful ambience set by live music. I was just saddened that the place was so quiet for a Saturday night - this restaurant deserves to be packed!

This place is a gem. Great value, big portions of home made food. Really tasty and the people are so friendly. We loved it so much we came back the second night when we stayed in the area for a long weekend. Can't recommend highly enough, although phone to book a table. The online booking didnt work too well for us.

Enjoyed lunch here. Service was good and attentive. Delicious kebab, humous and falafel. Very tasty wrap and delicious fresh orange. A good place to eat lunch - despite the set lunch menu offering a rather eclectic mix. Good portions and generally good value.

Oh boy, where to begin? Fantastic place - wonderful food, well priced, great people, terrific ambience. We came for breakfast - superb and very good portions - and also for evening meal (great set menu). Good breads, excellent hummus, felafel. Highly recommended.

Personally I liked the atmosphere but also disliked it at the same time. It was a cozy place with cool decoration, but a little too much for me. Everyone was very nice, although a little confused and slow at times, but nothing to complain. Food was amazing and the prices were alright as well. Try the hot sauce! I am not sure if it was homemade, but it was a nice fresh relish with a good note of spice! Served with almost everything.

I've been to this place a few times and it's always great. Friendly staff, simple but fresh and delicious meals any time of day. On weekends/ Fridays they sometimes have a live guitar player as well. It's a very comfortable place to spend an hour or an evening!

Came here with my family as they were heading home up north, food was absolutely fantastic! So tasty and service was fab too! Really reasonably priced, not a long wait for food at all, if you’re in Stratford definitely visit!

Only been once but had passed it many times and was very glad I actually ate there. I recommend the authentic Turkish food, I had the chicken shish meal, chicken was flavourful and good quality, the rice was fresh and tasty and the salad was vibrant and delicious. Great place.

A charming and intimate bistro serving many different dishes originating from along the Mediterranean coast. We had great service from the really friendly waiting staff and the food was excellent. The menu has a varied range of dishes to suit most tastes, all of which we tried were thoroughly enjoyed. They all felt very authentic and original. The price was very reasonable as well, especially considering the quality of the food.

Greta service and lovely breakfast. Especially liked the Mediterranean breakfast with spicy sausage, halloumi cheese, olives and great jam. Nice to have a place to go in Stratford when waiting for trains or pre/post an event in the London stadium that is not a shopping centre!

Olive & Lemon is our favourite restaurant in Stratford. Food is delicious, tasty and healthy!! I love the falafel+humus, the organic bread, all the salads and veggie options are amazing! And with a fresh orange juice, perfect experience! The staff is really friendly and kind, and they have the best chef with the best homemade chilli sauce ever!! And now at evening time, live music! Highly recommended!! We spent a very nice family time

Derrière le centre commercial de Stratford se trouve ce petit restaurant aux allures méditerranéennes. Les serveurs sont très sympathiques, les plats sont copieux et le cadre sympa (il y avait même un serveur qui jouait de la guitare dans un coin du restaurant). Quant aux prix, très correct pour la qualité et une ville comme Londres.

Vlakbij Stratford station. Originele gerechten op de kaart. Je kunt hier gezond lunchen waarbij je ook voldoende vegetarische keuze hebt! Ipv patat bij je lunch krijg je heerlijke salade. Wij namen de wrap en een panini, beide zeer tevreden. Aardig personaal en snelle servering. Was zeker een fooi waard.

After two weeks in India I was desperate for a Full English. Always noticed that the Olive and Lemon Cafe was always busy in the morning so dropped in for a breakfast. One minute you are walking through the smell of urine stained streets and street drinkers of Stratford Broadway and suddenly you are in a serene, relaxing part of the Mediterranean. I am a fussy guy and don't eat eggs so one of the things I look for when ordering a Full English is if I am offered anything instead of my egg. And the Olive and Lemon didn't disappoint me. The extra sausage was greatly appreciated. When my breakfast arrived, everything was piping hot and not greasy at all. Even the small packets of butter were nice and soft and easy to spread on the toast. Don't you just hate it when the butter arrives rock hard! At £6.95 for my Full English with coffee and toast included, I was most impressed and will definitely be back. Now to open that door and step back out into the war zone that is Stratford!

This is the best breakfast in Stratford- hands down! The salmon, eggs and dough bread is beautiful and for a nice price of 7 pound! The staff are lovely and this is a genuine restaurant that will definitely muskrat you want to come back

I was very nervous to go on my first date but the staff and overall atmosphere of this cafe made me feel extremely at ease. I was recommended to come by my friend eren and let me say I was not disappointed. I highly recommend and will be sure to visit again !!

Went into this cafe for the first time last Saturday. Impressed with the cleanliness and the attentive waiters. Ordered the full breakfast and it arrived quickly and the food was very nice - freshly cooked and not at all greasy. Will definitely come again.

Every time I go to this place it seams that it gets worst the worse the staff specially is like they been taken out straight from some lost contry. There is 6 witres and just run around not knowing the besic costumer service, my opinion they need some training how to treat costumers if th u need them to come back l.

Gezellig tentje in een wat armoedige wijk. Heerlijk ontbeten. Toast met zalm, avocado en ei. Lekker ruim met de ingrediënten gedaan en een snelle service. Als we weer eens in de buurt zijn gaan we hier zeker weer eten.

We had a very enjoyable, relaxing lunch at Olive and Lemon cafe in Stratford. There was a nice range of meals available, with an interesting mediterranean twist. And the staff team looked after us very well.

Un salto para un almuerzo rápido de trabajo. No muy familiarizados con la zona. Fácilmente accesible, servido por la estación de Stratford tubo/tren. Necesitaba un almuerzo rápido antes de proceder a una cesión de la tarde, estaba muy concurrido, pero el servicio era rápido. Claramente un lugar popular. Yo opté por una temporada los calabacines cocidos Kabak (con garbanzos, tomates, cebollas, ajo y hierbas) y mi colega Sote Patlican berenjena (probado cocinada con cebolla, ajo, tomates frescos y hierbas). Ambos eran muy sabroso, buenas porciones y a un precio muy razonable, he pagado mucho más por las comidas similares en otras zonas de restaurantes similares. El tamaño de las porciones son buenas. El espacio es un poco estrecho, ya que el lugar es muy popular. El único problema de atención era la alarma de incendios que se desencadenó dos veces durante out pero fue atendida con prontitud.

Vine aquí dos veces y estoy pensando en volver aquí más. Cazuela de gambas era espectacular. También recomiendo encarecidamente Kebap! Pero lo mejor es personal :)

While we were staying in Stratford for the recent athletics, my husband and I ate here a few times. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent - great portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Will definitely go back if in Stratford again.

We had a pre-Athletics dinner here, four of us. The food - Greek/Turkish - was absolutely delicious. I had a mixed grill and the lamb in particular was amazingly tender. Simple, not overly complicated menu, unpretentious setting, friendly staff. Only gripe - They'd been so busy they'd run out of the House White (!) and the only one left was not sufficiently chilled.

As we live close to Stratford we love to get up early on our days off and get nice breakfast. A few months ago we found that place and it's absolutely amazing. Staff and food is great, same as prices. Always fresh, quick - even when it gets busy. We're going there almost every week and it's so good every single time.

My friends and i visited this lovely place, and we did enjoy the food very much. The dishes that we ordered were: mixed grill ,ciabatta , prawn they all served with either rice or salad. The size of the dishes were far too big that we couldn't finished them.The service by Tunc was excellent, friendly and prompt .We liked to place and we definitely be back soon.

We recently visited London for the weekend and on the sat evening we just happened upon the olive & lemon and wow the food service and price were all fantastic, so much we went back for breakfast the next day. 10/10

The freshest meals prepared in Stratford. Great service and all the meals are delicious. Be prepared to queue as the word on the quality has got out!!

Just a short walk from the Travellodge in Stratford this local independent cafe offers a really good value alternative to the chain eateries in Westfield and the breakfast on offer at the hotel. I had the Mediterranean breakfast with spicy sausage and halloumi. It came with two eggs complimetary toast and a cup of tea. My partner had the vegetarian breakfast. Neither could be described as small portions and kept us going until we got back home in the evening. Both were very tasty. The establishment had a real local feel to it with people coming in for coffee and a chat and local office workers for lunch. Service was friendly and efficient. Next time you are in Westfield step ouside in to the real high street.

Good coffee, tasty breakfast, very affordable, really nice service. Definitely will come back in the future.

Found this place by accident on our way to the post office, and what a great little find. So many vegetarian choices, I had a pasta dish and my partner had a meat and rice dish. Both were generous portions and you could tell they were super fresh. Would definitely return if we were passing again, and will be telling friends in the area about it, just a shame it's not open later! My only down point was that we sat in the outside area as it was a sunny day and two tables were sat smoking despite there being signs saying no smoking on the window, had we known this we would have chosen a different table as it's unpleasant as non smokers.

Having walked passed the Olive And Lemon Cafe a number of times, I finally went in for lunch today. The staff were very friendly, we chose to eat inside, event tho' there were a couple of tables outside. Much too hot in the sun today. My wife is Gluten free so she had to skip the rice but had extra salad with her kofte, which was the only downside. Its strange the rice in all the Turkish restaurants I have been to contains gluten. I had an nice cold efes beer with my kofte. The portions are good sized without being too big. So a well located café, which is clean, with good food and friendly staff, I will definitely be going back. It is also nice to get away from the chain establishments that dominate Stratford.
