Old fashioned chip shop, great fish n chips

The batter was half empty with a tiny peice of fish to one side and the oil was so old and burnt!! The chips were all burnt and dark! Never again. Stomach feels awful!

Friendly polite people who served us. Ordered fish and small chips twice. Chips were cooked to perfection, crisp and they had some colour about them. The fish was good also and all for a reasonable price.

Food is generally good. A little slow but overall good value for money

I just love Old Road fisheries, you get the best quality fish and chips fried in dripping and a very warm welcome. This place is old school fish and chips and well worth the wait, delicious. Fully recommend there are other fish shops in area but I always use Old Road.

Been coming here for years. Never had a bad meal. Fish is one of the best around. Such a varied menu which covers all ages. Well worth the money. Friendliest staff and owners I ever met. Well worth a visit.

The fish and chips are absolutely amazing and the best i have had in a long time, the staff are also very friendly and polite and go out of their way to learn your name if you're a regular customer which is really nice.

Good food friendly service, have never been dissapointed in the quality in the time we have used this shop.

Curry sauce very nice, fish delicious and very good prices. Londonder but will defo go again next time in Bradford.

Banging chipshop I've been coming here for the past 15 years and never had any issues all ways nice, lovely staff, good deals and they use beef drippings wich is rare in Bradford these days.

Some of the best fish and chips around and very nice staff, 2 bad points 1. Watch you don't drive passed its not easy to see. 2. Could do with with the shop opening more 🤗 although it's a bit out of the way I always go there first.

I’ve been massive fish and chips fan for years, years ago before closing down then reopening as under new management I loved the original mother Hubbard’s, these days you buy fish and chips and end up wishing you hadn’t bothered, this place is different,perfect fish and perfect brown chips, delicious, thankyou very much.
