It was our granddaughters 18th birthday and we went for a champagne breakfast and we had a lovely time and would thoroughly recommend

Would prefer hot food served on a warm plate. Then you would have got 5 *

Wouldn’t let me order without a table number at first but there was no table number. Had to go back to check and lost my place in queue. Explained where I was sitting and was told what table number it was as though I should have known what it was. Spoke to others outside and they had no table number either. There’s no need to make people feel awkward. Ask them where they’re sitting and I’m sure you’ll find them. Fix your table numbers!

Definitely no recommend this place, no staff, takes too long and food, my cibatta was like stone, harder than a rock. No good. Bad customer service. Toilets dirty too.

Server waiter was nice however the front of house staff did not seem welcoming and a bit pretentious. The food came out before the drinks. The quality of the food wasn't too great either.

Had a fabulous breakfast with my daughter. The setting is lovely and the staff very friendly. She had pancakes which she said were delicious, I had the full English and it was superb. Will definitely return soon.

2 visits in a week. So impressed with the 1st visit I returned with the other half! Great food...Great staff.

Very disappointed today, went for something to eat around 2 o’clock we were sat down and given a menu and told to order at the till when we Decided what to eat Approached the till Only to be told they weren’t serving food anymore today What a disappointment if they had told us that on arrival fair enough but to be sat down then be told poor this is really bad Service and the girl who I spoke to was actually non-apologetic and rude.

Our go to place in Blaby for breakfast! Always lovely and served quickly! Just wish it was closer to the centre of the village… !

Gotta say, first time here as its next to our village and was amazed with both food, service and all round experience. Love what they've set up outside where we sat. Chicken & Chorizo pasta was best ever along with Lamb Burger with chilli salt fries. Definitely recommend and can't wait to return.

Great venue, perfectly situated for us to stop for some brunch before heading on to the rugby. Fantastic food, supreme service and amazing atmosphere. Book beforehand to avoid disappointment!

The perfect English breakfast begins with a perfectly cooked egg, and Okapi has that nailed down. The bacon and sausage were of a very good quality too, however we were not great fans of the garnish and ripe vine tomatoes (sometimes it feels like they're trying to reinvent the wheel a bit). I was apprehensive of the sourdough bread that came with the breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised! Prices were reasonable overall, mind you I'd love to know the profit margins of £3 for extra mushrooms. The vibe is really cool and relaxed, it's a place you would enjoy spending time in. Service was also good and polite. We'll definitely be back soon!

Very noisy. Rather pricey. If you just want a snack it's not the best place. Surroundings pleasant. Summer time would be better as lots of outside space.

First time visiting and loved it. We had the tapas and a pizza to share. Last time we visited it was just a small cafe, but they have done a full refurbishment and also have some great outside eating areas which will be great in warmer weather

Menu says Breakfast till 11:30 but ask, they were still serving it way after that (we should have!)

Amazing vegan breakfast, it’s wonderful to have a local restaurant that caters for vegans/vegetarians so well. With well thought out options (including tofu egg, dairy free milkshakes/pancakes, vegan sausages). The interior design of Okapi is simply stunning. Friendly attentive staff also. Always a lovely visit to Okapi!

The food was absolutely top notch. Beautifully cooked poached eggs, amazing sourdough bread, avocado simple but delicious and smoked salmon lovely and delicate. Pancake stack was full of fresh fruit and egg Benedict had a perfect holendais sauce. The restaurant itself is clean and the atmosphere was good. Will definitely comeback and recommend it to anyone. Prices are great for the food they are making. Thank you

Amazing food, great atmosphere & and really friendly staff.

Great variety on the menu, friendly staff, good food, and obviously popular as it was busy in the lunchtime slot. Would definitely recommend booking if possible. Coffee was very good, and the wait for food wasn't long at all. Nice display of sweet treats like brownies at the front by the entrance so be sure to check them out.

Christmas burgers were delicious, matched by 5star service and atmosphere! Great place to eat and would highly recommend 😊

What a lovely little gem, and right on my doorstep. Met with friends just for coffees. Waiter service, which was lovely and he was very friendly and helpful. Outside in a warm day would be a lovely place to sit after a long dog walk. Inside is very modern and clean. I will definitely return.

Family took me here for birthday lunch. Loved the place & the food was so tasty & the portion size was very good. Would definitely recommend & we will be back.

What a great restaurant. Was looking for something to keep the family entertained during half term so looked at having a game of golf and breakfast to start. All the food was really fresh and well presented.

We had a range of food as we couldn't chose. Before I start it's a wonderful atmosphere and staff friendly and helpful. OK the coffee is by fair one of the best coffee I've ever had. It was smooth and they have a range of alternative milks. I had the breakfast pizza of the Sunday brunch menu and it was delicious. Couldn't eat it all and they boxed it up. My partner had the big breakfast which had a good choice of food items and very well cooked. Because we wanted dessert breakfast we chose the French toast which was so sweet and lush. Honestly the only complaint was I couldn't eat more. Will definitely be heading back soon

One of my new fave breakfast places🫶🏻 Okapi Kitchen is such a hidden gem! Located in Blaby Golf Centre, this new restaurant is a must visit. Serving breakfast, lunch, and tapas, there’s no way you can be stuck for choice. We have visited twice for breakfast and both times I was delighted by the incredible food served. I have tried the Okapi Breakfast as well as the Fully Loaded Ciabatta. Both were cooked to perfection and you could tell that the ingredients used were of a high quality. For drinks, I first had an iced hazelnut latte and the second time I had a peach iced tea. Both drinks were so tasty with no faults! I am definitely intrigued about their lunch and tapas menu, so will be visiting at some point to try those out! I’ve heard good things about the pizza🍕👌🏼. Having the restaurant located in the golf centre also makes for a great time out! Our most recent visit followed a round of crazy golf on the Congo River Crazy Golf Course! There’s nothing better than tucking into a delicious meal after a competitive round of crazy golf🙌🏼.

Lovely restaurant based at the 9 hole golf course in Blaby. We went for brunch, and there was a great selection of dishes. The food was delicious and service was friendly and quite quick. Coffee was great. Highly recommended.

Spent a lovely time crazy golf with family and food. There were 10 of us. More brunch style. Service was a little slow, but it was Father's Day and a few families. The food was good when it arrived. Every one also enjoyed there's. I will definitely be back

We have visited numerous times as a family and will continue to do so. Okapi has become our go to local spot for breakfast or lunch. It is just what Blaby and the surrounding area needed - quality food, beautiful setting and fabulous service!

Great environment. Food is a touch pricey, only do breakfast on Sunday, call it brunch but no brunch menu on website. Service very slow and inconsistent. A number of times asked for order and then had to ask repeatedly for the bill. But food was tasty but pricey eg an extra sausage is £4 and can't swap out items if you want to. Sort out service and options on a Sunday, and be able to swap brekkie items and this would be a strong 4 star gem!!

The breakfast is just incredible. The whole menu, all of it. Been about 5 times now and ordered something different every time and it's spot on! Staff are super friendly too.

Food was great and arrived hot with healthy portion size on the chicken and rice noodles dish, however a lot of salad makes the plate up on the flatbread and pancakes weren't as great as they seemed so a few dunks into the syrup was essential. Service on drinks was perfect however food took a while to come (we were waiting for around 45mins), and booked a table for 2.45 with the closing time being 4pm so wasn't ideal for a long wait time however they accommodated with a late close due to a party being booked there also. Overall a lovely place to go and would return again maybe at a quieter time.

We visited Okapi Kitchen on saturday lunchtime and both myself and my wife have nothing but positive things to say. The food was delicious,the staff were very friendly and efficient and the restaurant itself has been done out really nice and gives for a great atmosphere. Well done to all the staff at Okapi i hope the resteraunt continues to be a success as we will certainly be visiting again.

Visited here with the family for breakfast after hearing great things about the place. We were all seriously impressed and will be regular customers from now on. The interior and design is well thought out and gives a lovely ambience. The staff are all warm and friendly and most impressive is the food menu. The food was top tier for all of us and is something different to the usual local choices. Try it, you will love it! 10/10

We attended the evening night at okapi, decor is very nice. Food was delicious & the service was amazing. Staff were very attentive & atmosphere in the place was perfect. Will definitely be back, heard the breakfast & bunch is amazing so need to go try that.

I have enjoyed eating at Okapi since the day it opened. The consistent quality of the food and the service just cannot be rivalled in the area. The coffee is fantastic and the food is always fresh and hits the spot. My personal favourites are the Okapi Burger and the large breakfast.

We was very impressed with our meal here. Okapi is modern & warm whilst the staff are very welcoming. The food was cooked to a high standard, we definitely will be back in the near future.

I gave this restaurant 5 stars during our last visit, however had such a let down, and I think people need to know, because they don't promote it, friends came up from Harpenden for lunch, and decided to show them Okapi, on arrival they give you a menu 1 Breakfast 2 Lunch 3 Drinks and on the front some Breakfast menu for Sundays, only once we were ready to order lunch at 1-45 sorry we only do Breakfast on Sundays, why then give me a menu that has Lunch, please make people aware that you do NOT do lunch on Sundays, unfortunately we had to walk out, with a waitress who had attitude, only to find another venue, I'm sorry but if you want to stay in business, you either make patrons aware your kitchen closes at 12 on Sundays and not offer me a Breakfast at 1-45pm or say the kitchen is closed on Sundays and you only serve drinks and maybe ready made toasties. Unfortunately should you continue the way you are, you will close down. Such a pity because it is really a nice restaurant and fitted out so contemporary.

I’ve visited this new eatery for breakfast and lunches and every time has been a delight. The decor is nicely done and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and my breakfast bacon was cooked exactly to my request. I’m looking forward to visiting when it, hopefully, opens in the evening.

This place is set off the main road and you can't see it, we found it by going to the crazy golf place on the same site. The place is de orated really well and gives a good atmosphere to the place. The staff members were really helpful with my questions on the menu and gave recommendations where I wanted them. The quality of the food we had was good, it tasted really nice too and presented very well. Worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. When asked, they are looking to open up some evenings with an evening menu.
