Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, lovely attentive staff. First time dining at Odette’s and we will return. It was lovely throughout. Good choice of cocktails, wine and the menu was varied and fresh.

Mediocre food, presented like a Michelin restaurant but chewy and tasteless coupled with extortionate prices and arrogant management. Waste of money!

Always excellent, inventive cuisine and wonderful service, but a bit crowded and loud

We had a great overall experience. They were accommodating to our tardiness which was very kind of them. Extremely attentive and polite staff. The food was great. I was a fan of the duck and the chocolate mousse. The ambience was excellent too; they have a different front and back area, but it’s not jarring and it can probably accommodate different moods. Overall great time. Would come back.

I went there to celebrate birthday. Would not recommend it. 1. The waiter was a bit passive-aggressive: my boyfriend and I found it weird when the gentleman said, 'Of course, you come here for the early-dinner menu'. 2. I left a comment when booking that it was going to be a birthday dinner. But it was forgotten. All the minor things adding tgt made the experience not as ideal. Food was good, but my friend didn't like the sour mushroom.

Lovely atmosphere relaxed but efficient staff and unhurried service. Valentino looked after us well. Went for the Santes Dwynwen (the Welsh Valentine) menu. Really good food all courses. Really good food and not snobby at all. The flavours and produce are fresh and so tasty. I loved the soda bread and cheese soufflé nibbles before the starter, and wish there was more of it. The desserts are great too, which restaurants usually don’t do a good job of. This is one of the few places where I have had a 3 course meal with an aperitif, a drink with the meal, drink at the end, and a tea/coffee, and felt that’s it’s all worth it! Best thing is that you don’t feel stuffed by the end, just perfectly satisfied.

wonderful, a lovely room , great services and fab food. The lunch menu is amazing value, very generous too. I have never tasted red cabbage cooked in such a special way. And the gnocchi was divine. A perfect experience, this is how dining out should be.

We always try and get out to two/three restaurants when we come down to London to visit our niece. Odette's is a particular favourite of ours, and we usually try and visit a couple of times a year. This visit it was my wife's birthday and we had the tasting menu (perfectly adjusted to suit one of us being pescatarian) with the wine pairing. Each course was delicious, really well balanced with great flavours and perfectly matched by the wines from the sommelier. If we had to choose a favourite course it would be the sea bream with bouillabaisse and mussels - an absolutely stunning dish! In our opinion a meal at Odette's is still the best balance of quality/value in London, and the service on this occasion was just as good as ever! Really worth a trip out to lovely Primrose Hill...

Hanno anche avuto la premura di preparare una piccola sorpresa per il compleanno di mio marito rendendo la cena ancora più speciale. Abbiamo anche avuto il piacere di parlare con lo chef: persona umile, capace e con curiosità e passione, cosa che si vede pienamente nei suoi piatti. Torneremo sicuramente!

Went there after reading the great reviews. We were four for lunch. Food was ok, but very poor service especially considering the cost comes out around 100 pounds per head for lunch. Overall sadly very disappointed

Odette's is a great restaurant. The food is of great quality, with great flavors and presentation. Their 3 course set menu for about 35 pounds is a good deal for dinner. Their vegetarian and meat options are both very interesting. Service is top notch, with a waiter coming around almost immediately to clear plates. Definitely felt like a much mire fancy restaurant than the price. Odette's is definitely worth a visit!

This was our third visit and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were polite and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious and excellently presented. We will re-visit again.

Limited selection, small menu, so you aren’t overwhelmed by choice. An excellent wine list incorporating offerings from a number of countries. Food quality and presentation was excellent, accompanied by discreet yet efficient, warm and friendly service. We ordered a la carte, rather than a tasting menu and were full after two courses, so could not sample the very attractive dessert menu. We will be back!

Well established, but Long forgotten. Food is amazing for the price.

My son booked Odette’s for Saturday evening dinner. Food I cannot fault. It was flavoursome, well presented and each of us enjoyed our choices. However, I have to agree with several other reviewers who comment on staff attitude towards some diners. Snooty! Best describes the welcome we received. The table next to our was fussed over, cleaned of crumbs, little witticisms shared and constant checking in. We were basically ignored until food was ready to serve. At the end of the evening I tip for service received and to add 13.5% to a bill which was already over £300 for 4 people who have had 2 courses and a shared pudding, 1 bottle of average white wine and some sparkling water, where service was below expectations is insulting. We will not be back nor will we recommend.

Good food, on the premium side with and excellent service. Strikes the balance perfectly between elevating their dishes without becoming overly elaborate.

We’ve returned to Odette’s, and again, it was a superb experience. My wife and I asked pork for the starter. As mains, halibut for her and lamb for me: delicious. Perfect dessert: strawberry and meringue (please see picture).

Absolutely blown away by my first dinner here tonight. Over achieves in all departments. From the sublime Scallops to the perfect Pork. Don’t skip on their version of a Jaffa Cake either!

Lamb was great but tbh i left feeling unsatisfied with the whole experience. Slow and poor service. There were flies around and when i was going to take a sip of my wine two of the flies, seemed to have fell there. Overall, i believe i had better food and dining experience in other places. Sadly, i do not recommend.

It would not be fair to comment on the quality of the food at Odette's as sadly we were not allowed in this restaurant but I certainly can comment on the attitude. On a day out in Primrose Hill we were hoping to enjoy lunch at one of its numerous restaurants. Admittedly it was very busy and a couple of places could not accommodate us but, having read good reviews about Odette's, I thought I would try to ask if there was any availability. I walked in and asked a gentleman if there was a free table, who replied it depended on how many people; so far not a problem. I then pointed out to my elderly mother and husband who were waiting outside and he immediately said that sorry there was no room. Now I may be over sensitive but I had the distinct impression that he did not think we were the right type of clientele for his establishment. Maybe we were not dressed up enough to fit the image they want to give but we were not in drags either. Personally I keep the dressing up for dining out, not for a relaxed Sunday lunch. And the "Desole" (sorry in French) was also totally unnecessary and came across as fairly snotty. Sadly I have come across too many so called French restaurants over the last 37 years I have lived in this country which think that they are superior because they have a French name and serve French cuisine. I have been lucky enough to go to a few Michelin restaurants in my time both here and in my home country of France and have rarely been treated in such manner. Maybe it is time some of those places realize that true class does not come with this type of attitude. But in the end I should thank the management at Odette's; because of them turning us away we discovered another place in primrose Hill off the beaten track called Fume and had one of the best meals we have had in a long time; refined Italian cooking, marvelous dishes and friendly attitude from the staff; and there were not too proud to take our business!

Charming little restaurant on the most elegant and beautiful street!

We were three couples. Everyone loved the food. We thought all the food was very special. The service and ambiance was also excellent. We enjoyed the homemade soda bread with lovely butter [no extra charge]. We had 6 starters, 6 main courses plus 4 sides. We shared 3 desserts which were souffle and the Jaffa cake. Both were just great. We drank one bottle of red and one of white at £28 each. Service was 13.50%. The bill came to £470 i.e. £157 per couple. For the high standards of precision cooking we thought that a fair price. Especially with the increase in restaurant prices post covid. We left very happy.

The food is locally sourced, creatively put together, and delicately served. The result? A burst of flavour. My friends and me tried nearly everything on the entire lunch menu: carrot soup, salmon&avocado, broccoli risotto (wow factor), vegetable sides (baby potatoes and greens) and deserts: beignetes, cheeses and java cake on a tropical fruit. It was mind-blowing. At the end, the surprising price for a (michelin star deserving) lunch menu ranged from 15-18 GBP (depending on whether it's a 2 course or 3 course). In our 2023 visit to London the prices for the menu had risen to 25 GBP. The service was the one you would expect in a posh nosh restaurant, yet the warmth of the staff was just like that of a family run restaurant: friendly and sweet. We were so amazed we asked to meet the chef, Bryn, to congratulate him on such an experience. I bought his book as well, and intend to try out the recipes myself in Barcelona... Will we return? Certainly. Do we recommend it? Definitely! A must!

We went on a bit of a food tour for my birthday, as we made the trip up to Odette's for lunch. This was a really stunning meal. We both noted that it was the bread which set the tone for the whole meal. A seriously tasty sourdough with salty butter that just melted in the mouth. From there, we a selection of dishes from the lunch menu. You can see from the photos we took that they were beautifully presented, and tasted superb. We were really blown away by the quality of the food. Not pictured was my absolute favourite dish - the Jaffa Cake dessert. Worth the trip on its own, really a show stopper! All the staff were lovely and helpful. Well worth a trip, we'll definitely be coming back again.

Very good food (Michelin level/style). Solid service. Upmarket, low-lit dining space. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that I found the chairs uncomfortable - which takes nothing away from the excellent menu and cuisine.

What a delightful lunch! Everything was made with such care, and the flavors were also wonderful. The fish dishes in particular blew me away, though the sirloin marinated in treacle was magnificently soft and flavorful too. Also, I know it's simple, but the soda bread absolutely blew us all the way.

I came here, with my son, to celebrate my birthday. We had the two tasting menus, his being the vegetarian, but we were both lured into tasting each other's options - equally delicious. I loved the understated ambiance of the place which was enhanced by the calm, unassuming but attentive staff. Thank you to them for the tasty morsels on the 'birthday' plate to finish the excellent meal - a rousing chorus of happy birthday and cake would have been the wrong finale!

Had been meaning to go to Odette's for years as had heard good things but only got round to it today... it did not disappoint, fantastic food, nice ambience, friendly unpretentious service and great value to boot, highly recommended!

Absolutely brilliant! Upon seeing the great reviews a friend and I decided to check it out - we had the tasting menu with wine. Exceeding expectations, every course was well balanced - the main meat course being our favourite of the night. The tasting wines complemented each course nicely. We will be back again!

I really cannot understand the high rating of this place. We went with my friend after getting tempted with the reviews, got a tasting menu & wine pairing. Wine quality is totally below average, the dishes were also nothing special, my friend’s meat was uneatably overcooked, and half of the tasting menu consists of desserts & dessert wine. Service as well is not up to the standards I d expect from a Michelin watchlist place. Had consecutive issues with the wine serving style & portions. Would not recommend, there are better restaurants you can have the tasting menu experience with the same or even lower prices.

Odette’s was wonderful. Funny, i fee I should mention the complimentary bread. The butter really was outstanding. I had the beetroot for starters, which was very light but delicious. Pork loin for the entree with a side of potatoes. And for dessert, their take of the orange jaffe cake. Everything was very good. It’s definitely not cheap and the portions are small. But that’s what you’d expect for a place like this. The orange jaffe cake was outstanding. So good. The flavors in the entree was very good. Service is very good as well. It’s a small restaurant and small staff, but very attentive.

Excellent food, well presented with great taste. 10/10 to the chef. The table had nice glasses and eatware and the AC was very good. Only three minor niggles. - The blonde waitress who served us was very miserable and needs to learn that making the guests feel welcome is part of the role. She also handed out inconsistent menus with no explanation as to which was which... - The deserts were over priced... - For the price of the meal I would have expected a table cloth... So to summarise the key issues were related to service & price point. The key positives were that the food was fantastic.

Amazing food. Good menu prices. Perfect for a romantic dinner. Staff so stiff, even between themselves . More smiles please... and remember to ask if we are happy with the food. 13.5% service charge on the bill is steep and was not worth paying if staff are rude.

One of my favourite dining experiences in Singapore. Highly recommended for a birthday or celebration. I can't say one thing wrong, from the ambience, to the interiors, to the food. They've done an incredible job. I'm still dreaming about my meal.

The food was so fresh and well made. One person in our party had quite a few intolerances but the staff were patient in checking what dish would be best for them. If you tell them well in advance about your intolerance, they’ll accommodate your request as best as possible. Not many vegetarian options. Only one veggie options in the starter and one in the mains. So I can’t say I’ll be going back unless the menu is seasonal and they change it up a bit.

A boutique French restaurant right at the heart of Primrose Hill. Highly recommend the tasting menu with wine pairing. The food is amazing as you should expect but the wine is really well paired with the amazing food. Most of all, you get good non-pretentious service which seems to me to be a dying trade in this superficial world. So highly appreciate the solid and proper service from the restaurant. Food 9/10, service 9/10, ambience 8.5/10, value for money 9/10. A hidden gem and one which makes to the list of my favourite restaurants in London.

I took my family for my mums birthday and the food was perfect and the service excellent. We had the early set menu, the cabbage dish was truly outstanding! Thankyou Odettes for a wonderful meal - highly recommend

This is a hidden gem and never fails to disappoint. We had a private dinner for 10 people absolutely excellent service and food.

Just had lunch in what is now the best North London restaurant. I've always enjoyed it but today we had the tasting nenu and wine flight and it was superb. The Jerusalem artichoke and truffle starter was sublime. The wine pairings were interesting and palate enlivening. Cant praise it enough and really appreciated the lovely service: 2 hours became 4 very easily.

Fantastic experience with fantastic food. I could have stayed there and chatted all night. So relaxing and calming.

What a gem of a restaurant. We chose the set lunch menu which was very reasonable for high quality, fresh and exciting food. Well worth the money. The wine list is well thought out and diverse. The atmosphere was relaxed and cosy but with fine dining presentation. Lovely staff who respectfully wore face masks and were socially distanced. I would highly recommend and will be going again and again. Thank you for a great experience Odette's!
