Oasis in Solihull

Having eaten here previously we had no hesitation in choosing this restaraunt this evening. What can I say..these guys are fantastic...the food is delicious..service in spot..and very reasonably priced...we thoroughly look forward to our next visit.

This restaurant used to be our local. We now live 15 miles away. I have never had food like I have had at the Oasis, simply the best Indian food. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. The environment is clean and well spaced seating. Lighting is good. I wished that they could provide a delivery service, then it would be a weekly meal. Thank you for a lovely evening and beautiful food & drink. Well recommended.

Once again there delivery driver was very abusive towards someone in the public outside his restaurant, racial abuse threatening behaviour towards the local council worker civil enforcement officer,

We have not visited since before covid but we have had take outs, but we thought this time we should dine in. Such a friendly welcome we had fromMo & the team, it was busy even tho it was 18-45, we chose a couple of starters and a biryani to share with a veg side dish & a naan, all were lovely & piping hot, we were very full when we finished but we did manage to eat the after 8 mints ! Oasis was as good as ever & we will be back soon

Such friendly service and really great menu. The fish curry was delicious … the sides all great too. Some great veggie dishes and flexible with us adding our amendments to the stated dishes.

This place isn't clean,the smell from the kitchen is so bad, the staff are very abusive to customers,not a good place to eat ,dirty keep out of this restaurant ,......

Very friendly welcome, lovely decorated restaurant. Fabulous service. Had the chicken chaat which was gorgeous, chicken cooked beautifully. Full of taste and plenty of it. Chicken jaipuri was also amazing. Great portions and fantastic value for money. Would 100% recommend!

Tried the rest then stayed with the best. Been using Oasis for the last 25 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Always delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. With the other regulars we are treated like family. The menu is very comprehensive and at a reasonable price. I usually have takeaway which is delivered hot and fresh. Always better to order direct as you usually get a discount for takeaway. I have had delivery during Covid and it is just as friendly as going into the restaurant with the waiting staff delivering. Was delivered prompt and piping hot. Always been great service and incredible food.

Ordered for home delivery as soon as they opened waited 90 minutes 2nd phone call to find out where the delivery was and was told it looks like order had not been processed, should a shame I won’t be using them again as the food is always good and the staff are normally really good, I hate poor service

Visited here for a celebration. Staff were very friendly. Food was delicious. We had a few kids with us and staff were very accommodating of them. Would defo return we had a lovely night.

I moved to Shirley about 3 years ago and was introduced to Oasis Tandoori by a school friend! The food has been amazing every single time we have dined in and take a curry home and it has become a go-to spot to meet with friends and loved ones. As a vegetarian, I love the range of options I can have! I think my favourite will still always be a Vegetable Rogan Josh though! Always a lovely evening visiting Oasis and I want to say thanks to the whole team who have adapted to lockdown really well and still deliver such a happy, safe service.

oasis is amazing we had delivery’s all through pandemic and they were perfect and great portions, I hope they get all the support they deserve now they are open again you won’t get better staff they are lovely people. Thank you Oasis for looking after us.

Decided to visit the Oasis as I read there was good reviews. Was not disappointed. Food was plentiful . And staff was good with their service . Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is in Solihull

We have been having takeaways from here all through lockdown but tonight we decided to eat in. Mo and the boys were all there and it could not have been better. The service was friendly and the food superb. Thanks. PS Cobra always tastes better when you are sitting in the restaurant.

Fabulous curry delivered to the door - these guys are working tirelessly through the pandemic - spoke on the phone they are very busy but still cheerful and the food was as good as usual - would definitely recommend

Well Covid 19 has closed the restaurant but Mo and his team are still producing the most excellent take aways. Just had a meat Balti and the Chicken Mince Masala. Both tremendous and huge portions. Onion Bhajis and samosas to start. Poppadoms thrown in. Ist class. Food ike this will get us through the crisis.

Went with a friend for the first time. All the food was delicious, I could not find fault with anything. The staff were friendly and made you feel very welcome. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and it was a pleasure to eat there.

Just had a delivery from here and it was awful the worst Indian I have, the chicken in all meals were like rubber couldn’t even cut through with a knife and really didn’t appreciate crinkle cut chips I will never eat from this place again

This is our American friends place to go when he visits.So we booked a table for 10. On arrival we were greeted by Mo and his Staff as if we were family. Drinks offered whilst we waited for everyone to arrive. Menus distributed, dishes explained and suggestions made. Banter between us and staff made for a jovial evening.Food as always arrived piping hot and delicious. Staff were attentive and anticipated our every need. Amazing as we are not frequent visitors that they remember little details that makes the service really personal and ensures you feel special.An excellent meal made even better by the staff.Thank you Mo and your staff for ensuring our friend had a memorable last night. Much appreciated.

Went to the Ossis for my birthday and. Was fantastic my family was there and there said that there meals was fantastic the staff and the chef was fantastic i. Would I recommend this place to anyone who loves curry the waters it was fantastic well go back again l would go back again the lam d chops were the best I would go back again so u must try this place it is the best

Difficult to review the quality of the food or the service as we experienced neither. Booked a table for 8 pm. Arrived on time to a very full restaurant with people stood around the door waiting for take always and tables. Told at 8.10 pm that we would have to wait 20 minutes and would we like a drink at the crowded waiting area. No thank you we declined and left. Why take bookings for tables when you are obviously over booked. Food could be good but I won't be going back to find out!!!!

Had a chicken balti and friend had the tower. Both tasted of exactly the same - and neither were very nice

We have been visiting the Oasis for a while now ,we opt for a take away as it's convenient for us. Our food is always great portions big ,Mo and all the staff are really friendly. We have eaten in the Oasis and the atmosphere is very nice . We reccomend the Oasis for a great meal

I visited Oasis with a party of 9, this was just before Christmas and the place was packed, however the service was first class.

Son in law the chef was fantastic and so was the staff there was fantastic meal and fantastic service nothing was two much trouble you must try this again food was fantastic

I’m sad to say that while the service was good the food was rubbish. The poppadoms were served with large chunks of onion and only a mint sauce. The beer tasted watered down. I was with 6 other lads and they forgot my mains order. When it did finally arrive (lamb balti with garlic Nan and rice) the lamb was tough and felt like I was chewing the sole of my shoe. When I raised this with the waiter he admitted it was mutton....and it sure felt like the animal was a 90 year old when it ended its life. The garlic Nan was tasteless and the rice was ok. I’m not happy giving a bad review....but then the restaurant should serve a decent cut of lamb which I would have gladly payed a little extra for....my advise is the check with the waiter when ordering the lamb....and if he says it’s mutton....have the chicken.

Family live in B90 and they have used Oasis previouslt an so was recommended, Great service ( very very busy ) and a treat for the taste buds !

Always leave with a satisfied stomach, front the delicious menu they provide. Feeling like a welcomed guest. We are always greeted with a hello and often with a handshake. Would recommended this place 10 times over We have been coming for 10years.

Visited Oasis restaurant with a friend on a recommendation and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately it was a complete disaster from start to finish!

Celebrated my birthday here with my husband and daughter, been coming here for over 25 yrs, staff are lovely and friendly and the food is always spot on and delicious. We come here about 6 times a year and Mo and the rest of the staff know us well and we just love this place. I went for a chicken tikka masala at the bilash spices in Burton and it was dreadful and had 2 bob bits after the meal! It was shocking! Serves me right for straying!!

I am so shocked by this Indian in fact I can't understand it having such amazing reviews I'm disgusted me and my partner had booked a table on arrival we was made welcome and we ordered popodoms they was nice but dips was awful just all cut up onions on a plate ridiculous I never had this befor then we order the main both me and my partner had prawns a balti and bhuna they both with chilli and garlic rice it was all disgusting I never had such a revolting dish in my life it was tasteless no flavour and the prawns tasted like plastic even the rice had no flavour from about 30 seconds it all turned into water on the plate I have had better from Tesco value never again after talking to a waiter told him I would pay but food was awful he got the bill for us and said nothing not even sorry

I was staying overnight to visit friends and saw this restaurant had good reviews. It started off perfectly they made us feel very welcome. The menu looked ok so we ordered.. the poppodums were not great with only one dip. Then the main course was ordered we had king prawn bhuna and king prawn balti with chilli rice. Both meals were favourless and after 30 seconds it all run into one big slurry.

Our regular curry house. The food here is fantastic, the staff are friendly and there's a great deal on on week nights that makes eating in cheaper than ordering take away. Have been countless times and will continue to do so!

Have visited this restaurant several times over recent months & it's always consistent - friendly & welcoming staff, good food and excellent service. I have visited on different nights & have always been impressed by their efficiency & tasty food. The prices are very reasonable & if you can't eat it all, they will pack it up for you to take home. Highly recommended .

Visited the Oasis with a couple of friends and had a superb meal. The service was very prompt, the food quality was very good and all at a very reasonable price. Will certainly be using the Oasis again in the future.

Being on business and having an evening meal alone is never the best, however the staff were very welcoming and allowed me to pause between courses to allow me to work. The food was good and excellent value.

Have been to Oasis Tandoori to eat in several times. Staff are friendly and the food is superb. Can definitely recommend the Tandoori Chicken!

I have visited numerous curry houses over the last month or so (that time of year) and unfortunately this meal was the worst.

We come here quite often. We are a fussy vegetarian family of five. We get the warmest of welcomes every time we come. Drinks served very quickly. Quality food and polite friendly service. This is the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Perfection itself.

This restaurant is a firm favourite with many folk who return week after week. 'Mr. Mo' and his staff are incredibly friendly and eager to ensure that everything is 'just right'. The food is excetional value for money and has never failed to 'hit the spot'.

Food was excellent, popadoms and salad + dips thrown in aswell 👌🏻. The app said that the restaurant would confirm delivery time when they open.. that didn’t happen so I was left wondering if they’d got my order, however it arrived close to the time I requested and was piping hot. very nice meal. thank you.

Been here a few times now and the staff always remember us, these guys are the most genuine, nice people I have come across in a restaurant. The food is good, quite standard for local curry house but meets expectations - a really laid back, relaxed experience and good evening out. Definitely recommend.

Good food however one item missing, one call to the admin team who sort this out. Prompt delivery of the missing item and some complementary item for their mistake. Would recommend as they are really good.

This is a friendly, family run restaurant. We recently visited with friends. We had booked but unfortunately our friends were held up on the motorway. I telephoned, spoke to Mo and explained the situation. He was so understanding and said he would save a table so that we could turn up when we were ready.

I am away on business often and always order through Just Eat. This is the best Indian meal I've had for ages.

Food was a bit bland and watery. Wouldn't order again.

Didn't take long to arrive which was good. Really enjoyed it.

Personal amable y sabrosa comida. El personal era lento para servirnos y tuvimos que conseguir la atención de los camareros en varias ocasiones para pedir bebidas y obtener la factura. Me dejaron mucho tiempo después de comer nuestra entrada antes de que se lo llevó lejos y trajo a nuestra red. Ojalá restaurantes indios serviría de cola y limonada de un bar normal en vez de un grifo de la botella caliente supermercado local, pero todos ellos hacen esto, yo no he ido a uno pero que no. Pedimos poppadoms para nuestro entrante y chutneys, y aunque era muy sabrosa, no era la selección habitual, ya que solo tenía cebolla/pepino y menta. yogur chapuzón No, no picante tamarindo cebolla y no chutney de mango! El curry que teníamos estaban bien, el arroz y las patatas fritas eran agradables y las porciones eran decentes. A pesar de los pocos puntos negativos que volvería porque la comida era buena.

Delivery driver decided to ignore the note asking him not to buzz the buzzer, as a result waking my 1 year old. Had pathia and chicken tikkah, both tasted the same one with a slight kick. Bit let down by it if I'm honest. Will be ordering from balti hut in future!!

Estábamos visitando un martes por la noche, y aprovechamos la comida de 3 platos por £9. 95. Este está disponible de lunes a jueves por las tardes. Tuvimos el popadoms con chutneys para comenzar. Mi esposa eligió cebolla y pollo tikka masala bargies a seguir. Elegí pollo cilantro y pollo tikka pathia. Teníamos 1 pilar arroz y 1 pan de llanura para acompañar nuestra comidas principales. La comida era excelente, el servicio era bueno y el personal muy amable. Disfrutamos mucho de la comida. La comida era deliciosa, y la relación calidad-precio era excelente. Es un restaurante con licencia y, por consiguiente, las bebidas se parecen ser un poco caro si solemos usar un restaurante indio, donde podrá tomar su propio alcohol. El restaurante está situado en la carretera principal y Shirley, Stratford en el aparcamiento puede ser un problema. . . . . . . . Sin embargo, vale la pena una visita, y no te decepcionará. Ya hemos reservado una mesa para nuestra próxima visita. . . . . La próxima semana. Este restaurante merece ser bien administrado.

beautiful meal, can definitely tell this is from a restaurant not just a take away. the onion bhaji were a bit soggy but everything else was lovely, lots of chicken in the dishes ordered. plenty of dips, salad and onion salad included Our new favorite place

After deliberating on which take away to eat, we opted to get up and get out. Hitting Shirley and deciding to head to the Oasis for my 1st visit in 17 years. Reminiscing on the past, I was optimistic that 2017 would be different, but hopefully still a positive experience.The decor has changed, as you would expect, and has a warm, modern ambience that immediately makes you feel welcomed.We caught the weekly offer of a three course for £8.95 and have to say 11 out of 10 for the whole course! We all had different starters and mains. Every single dish was on song, customly cooked to order and tasted fresh with fantastic mouth watering aromas.The only negative was the frozen chips, but don't let this deter you. Like I said, you want chips; go to a chip shop. You want pizza; go to an Italian. You want curry; go to Oasis!This didn't for one second alter any of our opinions. The three of us left well fed (with leftovers to take home and enjoy) and smiles on our faces!Aside from the wonderful food, I think a big mention has to go to not only the chefs and back of house for doing a great job, but equally the support from front of house. Every single waiter was genuine, polite, affable. We not only felt looked after but their warmth and friendliness made this a wonder home from home experience.This was evident with the regulars and the friendly chat that was going on.Even some of the staff on a break sat and ate, and were in conversation with customers whilst they were eating.This didn't affect the service as others were around to assist but I found this just added to the wonderful home from home experience, yet in a lovely surrounding.Would we come here again? Well when my partner has come over from the other side of the city and declared this is the best curry she's eaten, I don't think I've really got much of a choice. And I can honestly say I'm more than happy to please her with a fantastic restaurant in my neck of the woods.Would we recommend it? Most definitely! And any visitors staying in a hotel within a 5 mile radius, then jump in a cab and go to the Oasis. Great food, service and lovely staff. Been eating at the Oasis for many years and never been disappointed.

We used to frequent Oasis Tandoori quite a lot as the food was always very good and the staff really nice. But the last couple of times I found that later on at night when I closed my eyes I felt as though I had just taken an ecstasy tablet, everything was whizzing around across my eyes, very strange not sure what spices they were putting in the food but it certainly didn't suit me at all so we don't go there anymore.

Ate here several times yet again another great meal can't fualt the food or the service and there's always a great atmosphere

Family celebration, table for eight, 7.00pm Friday Eve. Three hour parking facility at local Asda store, five minute walk to restaurant.Reserved a table, no waiting. Staff are always courteous, polite, friendly and unobtrusive. Drinks and food order taken, with no pressure to choose quickly. A selection of starters, all served hot and very tasty. Main courses are superb, portion size is excellent, recommend the Chicken Chat Massala. Table of 8, starters, drinks and main courses, £15 each, including a tip. Excellent value. You can rely on Oasis for an excellent meal, in a relaxed but professional environment.

We have being going to Oasis for many years. Food is always good and the staff are very friendly. If your a vegetarian like me then they will always do a vegi option of its not on the menu. It can get busy at times but the wait is worth it.

I cant get enough of this place!! Ordered early this time (17:40) and food arrived in 40 minutes. Fresh and delicious as always, great start to the year :)

Waiting for 2 hours to come no call to say would be late wen it arrived food was cold not using them again

Absolutely shocking, the food was delivered 1hour and 20minutes after the delievery time I was given bringing it up to 2hours and 20minutes after the order was placed! not only that but ghe food then arrived cold and the chicken pakora was stale! Will definitly be submitting a formal complaint as the curry was in edible as you can't reheat chicken! The staff wasn't helpful and instead said he'd deleiver it personally and he'd leave in 5minutes but my food didn't arrive until 30minutes after that meaning it was probably finished cooking and sitting around for 20minutes on the side. The deleivery guy finally arrive and only took 80p off my bill to apologise for it being late! Soft poppadoms, stale starter, Luke warm curry and a cold and wet nan bread. It was a joke. I wouldn't have minded as much if it was a large order but I was eating for one. Do not order food from here. Such a shame as I regularly visit the Resturant to eat in and have never had a problem and the staff are usually lovely. Waste of money if you ask me.

Was over 1 hour late had to ring up to see where it was. Said very busy. But ordered at 6.30 for 7.30 came 8.40. Food cold and chicken very dry in Parthia also onion bhaji was dry. Sorry will not order from here again.

They had added extra time to delivery and they were still 10 minutes late. Food wasn't hot it was warm. Overall disappointing

Food was bland, no taste to it. Rice, chips and naan freezing cold. Took longer than expected which made it pointless to reorder. Disappointed in the whole package to be honest

The curry was nice and we enjoyed it. However the chips weren't great and the poppadoms didn't seem to be fresh there was no crunch and you could bend them without them breaking.
