Ordered a lattie got a cup of hot milk instead staff not interested to busy talking to each other diffently gone down hill what a shame it was always a lovely place to go.

If I could give less stars I would. Absolutely ridiculous place. Not many staff for Saturday afternoon. All staff scorpi heads. Never ever come back. No customer service at all.

What has happened to this place? Poor quality food, no filling in sandwiches or pannini and ROTTEN CHIPS. I wasn't bill payer and payer didn't want to make a scene 😕. I will NEVER be back here until new management or owners take over. Its disgusting 🫣 🤮

My sister and had soup and soup wasn't hot. We both are cooks and if we probed it it wouldn't even reach 63 degrees which hot held in the soup kettle. I don't think they take reading of temiof food every two hours. We then had latte coffee and it was the same. Took it back and told the girl. She wasn't pleased just to return with coffee and no better. Also just looked through reviews and everyone complaining. Can the owner not look and sort staff out. I know in my place of work we wouldn't get away with that .

Very.lazy.staff always on phones are never behind counter food not as good as used to be staff near throw it at ya to be honest one sraff member is very unprofessional and no.customer service at all shocking

A popular eatery, as can be seen by the almost constant queue any week day waiting to enjoy a fine selection of hot and cold dishes. This restaurant is efficiently run by friendly staff and prices are keenly competitive. A welcome spot to call in if peckish and needing a rest from shopping in Rushmere.

Staff really don't want be there. One friendly girl that I asked water from, the rest of them need to learn the meaning of hospitality and service with a smile.

If you have no taste buds you'll love it here. Food slapped down by the server who just wants you out of her way. The cottage pie is lacking, cheap mince and tasteless. Chips are stinking, and half cooked. The Fanta was the only thing they couldn't mess up. Would rather eat out of McDonald's bins.

Went on Saturday and got cottage pie with chips. Cost just under a tenner with a drink. The staff looked disinterested and left me standing for a few minutes before serving me. I was the only one at the counter. Chips were dry and tasteless the pie was very measly and was also dry and tasteless. Are a few of the chips and left. Ended up in burger king. They away from this place

Socially inept staff member…. Bearing in mind breakfast is precooked we stood for nearly ten mins with ONE person in front of us. We politely suggested more staff but the staff member decided to take umbrage to this as if it was our fault we inconvenienced them for one slice of brown toast, scrambled egg and two slices of bacon. God forbid on top of this we also had the cheek to ask for two coffees and a tea. While the angry server shook her head in a rage, slamming our change down and forgetting the tea only to have to return to resolve. During this period I decided to check my 88 year old aunt for a pulse and shave the scone. Avoid this place like the plague. Or at least avoid the sociopath serving.

Poor customer service ,very bad behaviour from the staff.we are not came to eat for free.

Food was ok ,but the one of the staffs who served food was not lenient , served food with angry face , seems to be serving food from her pocket, so I won't recommend this place

Was queuing up to order food and there was a woman putting sausages out into a dish and licking her fingers between lifting them! - thank god I saw this before ordering. I will never return.

Went today to get something to eat with family, there were 4 if us. The food on offer looked dry and upappateising. It took ages for anyone to come over and serve us, they took ages again to take our orders and plate it, the portion sizes were small for the price they were charging. Only reason we went was there is few places in Rushmere shopping centre.

Paid £10.70 for a slice of roast beef, scoop of carrots and chips. Sat down yo eat it and there was a long dark hair. Im not dark so wasn't mine. Staff need to be wearing hairnets but non of them do. Actually feel quite sick now and i definitely will not be back

Went to Rushmere for Hallowen day 27 October as a family Food was awful. Daughter and I ordered Lemon Merigue Pie. Slime Pie may have been a better name as the curd was slimy and did not taste of lemon. The panini ordered by another of our party had been heated in a micro but not toasted and the bread seemed half baked and wet underneath. The Lasagna was oily. Disaster. Used to be a good spot but we won't be back.

Used to be quite cheap and cheerful. Now they've raised the prices way beyond the level that can be justified given the school canteen-esque food. So it's no longer cheap. The lady on the till with the big fringe is possibly the least pleasant human being I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. Some of the staff seem genuinely nice and pleasant but she seems intent of sucking any charm or life out of the place so it's no longer cheerful. Don't think we'll be back.

This place has went down hill big time. We were there early so you would expect the food to be fresh! We had mashed potatoes , roast pork peas & carrots, roast beef for my partner the mashed potatoes were hard and a grey colour the carrots were limp, the pork and beef had definitely been reheated from a few days before as the meat was hard and tasteless. The whole meal tasted like it had been made days ago and just reheated and the portion size was very small for the price.The small heavy set woman didn’t like our opinion which we give and was extremely rude and more or less told us to eat elsewhere. It is obvious that the business is struggling and trying to cut corners. Will definitely not be back.

The women serving was extremely rude. Had made a women cry. 15:40 12th October. Wasn't helpful and didn't give the full dinner. One dinner was roast beef with potatoes, peas, carrots. That's it. £10. They didn't give nothing else. The women at the tills was nice but it didn't make up for the food server who shouldnt be anywhere near customers. There was a point we're the women at the tills had to go herself and put chips on a plate for now little was given to one customer. The taller women with a tattoo sleeve should be fired.

Mediocre food, unpleasant surrounding, very expensive for what it was. Do not recommend and will not be back.

Have ate at this place quite a few times but today order fish & chips asked for tartare sauce. The sachets I was given were 3 months out of date!!!

Attended today with a friend. Staff member (one person) at the till was extremely rude and embarrassed me in front of other customers in the queue behind me. We had only got a sweet and drink and when i got to the till she told me for future reference i should use the other till as you go in as her one was for hot food only. Maybe if someone was at the other till i would have went to it or if there was a sign with some communication telling the customer this but when the other counter was empty i had no choice but to go to her. It was a very unwelcoming experience.

This morning I bought my mother in for breakfast the lady behind the counter had her back to us and didn't turn around until there was about ten people queueing behind us there was no smile no friendly customer service she just didn't want to be there. We ordered a fry each big mistake I have never received something so disgusting swimming in grease we just couldn't eat it a total waste of £16. I usually go to another place in the shopping centre but unfortunately it closed down but I can certainly say I will never be back in this place.

Cross contamination!! Used to eat here with my mum. Only found out recently that none of their food is vegetarian. Chips and fish are fried in the same oil as meat which shouldn’t even be a thing! They mustn’t care that People can have allergies to meat and may have religious reasons not to eat meat.

Absolutely terrible got the 10 piece breakfast and couldn't eat it. Sausages were so hard, potatoe bread soggy and everything stone cold freezing

Worst service iv experienced to date!! Staff stand talking and food is served on cold plates . Heard the women in front complaining and then I soon learnt the same treatment. Never again. How is this place still opened !!

Watched sand which girls cough all over the place was grim gave me the wrong order honestly walked out without touching it, watched staff move plates off tables onto other tables and not even clean them just move dirty dishes from one to the other, honestly the most disgusting place ever

Nice wee restaurant at the centre of Rushmere shopping Centre. Not bad food choices from freshly made sandwiches to a cooked meal, range of deserts as well. Clean and not bad prices for a shopping centre. Friendly staff.👍

We go there often and love the plated salad for £5.50 where you can pick whatever you want for the set price. Staff always friendly and efficient

Over priced, poor service and low quality food. Tables not cleared Staff not interested, except for the two Foreign National ladies who were superb, The staff that served me were playing a bingo game on the phone, I ordered the Roast of the day, really small portion. Annoyingly I noted that the next customer had much more food on their meal, which appeared to be the same as mine? You know when management has failed, staff stop driving the business, they take no care about their appearance, the business appearance or their jobs. I am glad it's not my business, I'd be making some changes.

Efficient staff, not particularly friendly but service was quick and no issues. Food wasn’t very good at all but it was edible. Decided to have dessert and chose the crunchie cheesecake and this was probably the best cheesecake I have had in years, so much so everyone tasted it and loved it. Would not return for hot food but would definitely have a coffee and cheesecake again.

Friendly staff, surprisingly good food, decent prices. Only things wrong are that they don't do drinks on tap (you order a coke you get a can and a glass), and the acoustics make the place sound like it is 100% full when it is less than half capacity (particularly noteworthy since this place is popular for families with small screaming kids)

Love this place. Really well priced, portions are huge and the staff are lovely.

My small daughter chose to eat here as she really rates the lasagne. She had this, I had the chicken curry and we each had a drink and dessert. To be honest, the food was ok. No more, no less. Our dessert orders were wrong but to be honest we didn't really mind. Just mentioning as it really does highlight the lack of attention. However there has been a change in staff. None of the usual staff were serving and the new staff are abrupt and unhelpful. They snapped at some of the elderly customers and were rude. It's a pity as we enjoy a trip here occasionally but I would now think twice.

Good food, plenty of it. Staff friendly. Fourth meal there and looking forward to our fifth!

Had lunch here and this restaurant serves a wide range of food and it does it to a high standard. Has a counter for quick sandwich which is made up to your choice. It is extremely busy and the food is that good that people vote with their feet. Totally recommend

Would you pay £7.25 for 4 goujons, chips scrapping and black bad chips? If the answer is yes, this is the place for you! Otherwise take your money elsewhere.

We were shopping yesterday afternoon and saw this busy restaurant. It looked like they served nice food so we went in but when standing in the queue waiting to be served I saw a “clean” plate had brown sauce on it. Sorry but my heart wouldn’t lie to what they were serving after that and we left!

Was afternoon shopping with my family and decided to stop in for a bite to eat thinking it would be a reasonably priced and easy place to stop off... regretted the whole experience. Should have listened to my instincts going in, as the second we lifted our trays I realised none of them had been cleaned properly. Deciding to give the benefit of the doubt, waited in line to be served. The serving staff couldn’t have looked more miserable and neither of the two had a smile to share between them, in fact just irritated by us the whole time. The food was slapped onto the plate, and my autistic son who only likes chips wasn’t even given half a plate of them... only to get to the till and be charged more than twice what it was worth! The plates and cups that food/drinks were served in were dirty and marked, and when we got to choosing a table all of them were absolutely stinking... I had to wipe down all the chairs and felt disgusting sitting in there to eat. Both kids commented that the food was akin to microwave food. Would never recommend, and certainly won’t be back.

It was well busy when we arrived for a family gathering and the staff are so well mannered so this was a bonus. I had the chinese vegetable stir fry and it was soo good. Everying cooked to perfection and I am fussy how my veg is done but this was spot on. Will be back plus the prices are very good.

Great place for a beautiful lunchtime meal. Vast range of dishes from chicken curry to Sunday roast. Party I was with all had a lovely meal. Very reasonably priced too with nice friendly staff.

Ate here this evening and worst meal out ever! Sausage and chip...not much to ask, but the chips were terrible! Hard, smelt and tasted like burnt fat. I ate what was possible and my photo shows what was left, though they all tasted awful!

Really bad quality food! I can't understand how anyone thinks the food is good, been a few times thinking maybe we just went on bad day but no! The food is consistently bad!

4 of us including a child. Had the 2 course midweek special (£15). Which included steak at no supplement. All the food was delicious and served piping hot. The kids meal was delivered with the starters which is always good news. The Pavlova for desert was a work of art and tasted superb. Will defiantly be back.

Arrived first thing so it wasn't busy at all, very disorganised between staff, paid for two full breakfasts, was then told they would be brought to our table, 5 minutes later we asked about our food and they forgotten, I then reordered the two full breakfasts and delivered them to our table myself, bacon was cold, sausages just warm, I'd have given 2 stars if they at least apologised for forgetting our order, will not be back

Had taken my wife shopping for an early Mothers Day gift and on the way out again noticed the restaurant with lots of people eating (always a good sign) and decided rather than drive all the way home to cook we would instead eat out. Having not eaten there before we were surprised by the varied and extensive menu available even at the late hour of around 7pm so we decided to try out their dinner menu which had something for everyone. I had a roast beef dinner and my wife had a Lasagne dinner accompanied by soft drinks. The young ladies serving were brilliant and extremely pleasant and took no time in serving our food which was piping hot and well presented and there was lots of it and all for a very reasonable price I thought. The whole place was clean and well presented and lots of other people eating there which is a good sign as there are lots of other options close bye to eat at. We both enjoyed our meals and will definitely return there again when in the area.

Good food, but a bit pricey in more recent times. Teabags do NOT cost over £1.00 EACH, so why should shoppers pay over one pound Sterling (£1.00) for some hot water and a teabag? Come on, Number 7, get reasonable! You will get more satisfied customers as a consequence.

After passing and glancing through the window seeing what people were eating. I decided to stop here for a bite to eat. Good move. I had the daily special chilli chicken dish. Wonderful. Lots of it and good. No wonder the place is busy. It provides good size portions of good affordable food. Well worth a visit

It’s not that often I’m in Rushmere as I don’t live near it but a couple of times a year I make an effort and go as it’s a great centre. I always call into this cafe for a snack. Today I had and Tuna & spring onion sandwich and a lovely cup of tea. Very enjoyable.

Looking at the comments others have made about the staff, rudeness and lack of hygiene I wouldn't have gone if I had rad them in advance. I went at lunchtime and it wasn't busy (which maybe should have told me something) but I ordered food and inserted my credit card. The girl asked me to enter my PIN which was fine and then asked me to enter it again. I asked if I was being asked to pay twice and she said no. I asked again and asked why she wanted my PIN twice. Her answers became increasingly evasive but as I was conscious of a queue (three people) behind me I thought I had better enter it again and made it clear I was doing so under protest. A supervisor then appeared and said I wasn't being charged twice and if I was I could always drive all the way back to Craigavon and ask for a refund. I asked again if I had been charged twice and she said she didn't know though then gave me the postal address so that I could write. Obviously I couldn't tell until the next month's credit card bill came and I had been charged twice so I wrote to the café and asked for a refund of the price overcharged plus the price of the stamp. I got a phone call from a person who said she was the manager. She wanted to refund the amount to my credit card and when I said that I wanted to know I was getting a refund she agreed to send a cheque and said it would take three days. In the end she kept the money until after the next credit card statement had come but in the end I got my money back. I'm sure many people wouldn't have kept going that long. The stress of all that makes me almost forget what the food was like but I don't recall being unhappy with it so I suppose if anyone who can pay by cheque sees this review it's not a bad café.

An overpriced canteen, best I could describe it, food is slapped on the plates no one cares about presentation of them selves or the food, they joked amongs themselves but theyr faces couldn't be more miserable when looking up to a customer, the beans on children's meals were cold and some chips mangled, my food was just a slop on a plate in presentation.

I ordered a panini and it was quite nice, however it took 20 minutes to arrive. I asked for crisps and instead they gave me salad. A friend of mine ordered coffee and it was stone cold, however they did make a fresh, hot one when they went up to the counter. It definitely has potential if they worked on it a bit, but for now I wouldn't recommend it.

Would come here in the morning tones when it’s not busy. I found it hit and miss with the staff and food.

Took my daughter for tea. Ordered chicken on champ with bacon, onion ring and peppered sauce..with 2 minerals for below £24.00. Food is so good. Very tasty. 2 chicken fillets and big portions.

My partner and I have been coming to Number 7 for a while now and it never fails to satisfy. Yes there are times when the queue is slow but believe me its worth it. The food is delicious and the staff are lovely and friendly. We have never had a bad meal. Thank you Number 7

The recent renovation has brought this restaurant up quite well unfortunately the price does not match the quality of the food. My most recent experience here was very disappointing. I was standing in line and was next to be served, the lady that was serving just walked off and left me and a lot of other customers waiting a good few minutes before another lady took over. I understand that everyone is entitled to their lunch break or whatever it may be but it is common decency to let your customers know.

Went in here about 6pm in evening. Thought hot food may be over. Surprised so much to choose from. Ordered chicken, onion rings, champ and pepper sauce. My partner had lovely roast beef.

Quite possibly my worst experience in eating out ever.. went with friend as we were very hungry, queued for what seemed like eternity, while watching the girl serve the food I though i was going to be sick just watching the total lack of non hygiene she obviously had been taught, but proceeded to get turkey and ham pie with chips, the chips tasted good but the pie was something my mouth had never experienced nor do i ever want to experience again, I went home and felt ill for many hours after.. JUST YUK

This Restaurant/Coffee shop has been here for years, very popular and busy place with a good food selection at reasonable prices. Table clearing is an issue at times and just recently they have squeezed in extra tables near entry door which makes for uncomfortable seating. Well worth a visit when in Rushmere Shopping Centre.

I’ve been to Number 7 on many occasions and I have to say that it was always a good experience. The place can be really busy so I don’t mind to wait if I have to. I’m always amazed with the portion sizes and how accommodating they can be when it comes to my children who are really picky sometimes. The prices are also very reasonable. There is one lady in particular among the staff who is absolutely brilliant, lovely and really helpful. I think she’s the main reason we like this place.

Called in last Friday with my mum placed an order, & also pot of tea for two, asked for an extra teabag in the pot as I always do, to be told they would have to charge for an extra teabag/cup of tea ???, well I was shocked (said it was company policy) very expensive Tea Bags Number 7 buy, anyway I put the Tea in our mugs to discover black things floating about mug from the teapot returned to the same girl at checkout requested Fresh Pot of tea she didn't apologise & not even an extra teabag in fresh pot Customer service !!!!!! Will Not be Back

Once our food was put on a plate, the length off time we had to wait for our money to be taken at the till was ridiculous, the two girls on the where more interested in chatting than serving, also there was a sign clearly stating keep fire exit clear and they had a table and two chairs clearly blocking it, food tasteless nope won't be back

Called in for a coffee while out shopping was standing at the sandwich bar with my tray when the girl behind the counter very loudly said the man in the queue behind me was before me when I said no there was no one else here when we came in and I was actually at the till ready to pay she said no I'd have to wait he was being served before me I left my tray with all on it and walked out went to Debenhams and had lovely food served by lovely staff.there are plenty of other places in the centre nobody should have to tolerate being spoken to the way we were

While the restaurant looked clean the hot food left a lot to be desired. Fish supper was so dry and batter way to thick and hard.

Place has really turned around. Serving staff are friendly and food is good too.

Have not had a full meal but find the cappuccino and scone is excellent quality, generous in amount and very reasonably priced.The cafe is always well supported and a wide menu seems on offer.

I feel although the food is quick and basic, akthough hits the spot when you are on the go. Cream used on desert is canned and chips are frozen. The prices are definitely a little too high for what you get.

Este restaurante ha tenido una renovación en el último año o así y es una adición bienvenida a rushmere. Siempre es muy concurrido, pero el servicio es rápido. Comida estupenda cuando quieres algo aparte de bollos y café, que es la única otra alternativa en rushmere

En mi opinión, es lo que es! Es un restaurante pequeñito en un concurrido centro comercial. Alimentos razonable! Curry de pollo siempre orden y patatas es encantador y porciones grandes. No pedir una cena de pollo una vez, pero no disfrutar de todo! ! Pollo patatas eran bultos estaba seco y las zanahorias eran duras. Pedimos patatas fritas. mi amigo, frijoles y salchichas, y que también es muy bonita! No es nada espectacular, pero está bien para una rápida poco a comer mientras compras. .

The first time I tried number 7 I really wanted a good sunday Roast and they delievered. Even though the place was packed we were seated relatively quickly and from then it was self service. The potatoes were amazing and the portions great for the price. The restaurant itself while tiny (which I felt bad for the poor staff having to jump over all the customers) but it is really quite nice! It almost looks like it used to be a house of some sort. Plan to eat here again.

any time I go, the food is amazing I love the evening meal and have order many things from number 7.but once I ordered a toastie on gluten free bread, the young girlused the same knife and chopping board which normal bread had beenprepared on. if I was hypersensitive to gluten this would have beena severe problem they need to thinkabout what they are doing or someone is going to end up seriously ill.
