Fab food and lovely atmosphere. Felt really welcomed by the staff. The staff payed extra attention to our children which made our evening extra special and meant that we could relax.

We spent many hours here as we were staying at the hotel. Enjoyed many drinks and ordered food on the Saturday afternoon/evening. For a large party all the food came out together and didn't have to wait long. Food was beautiful and the service was amazing. Both the bar staff and waiting staff couldn't do enough for us and were very accommodating throughout our visit. Breakfast the next day was also very enjoyable lots of options and self service Hot Breakfast being constantly refreshed and topped up. Would highly recommend.

Just impeccable experience from start to finish. Booked a table for my family to start NYE celebrations. Made to feel welcome and staff completely engaged with the whole family. Gave the impression that everyone was welcome whether a family with kids, dogs or just a couple. Nothing too much trouble, excellent food and a good laugh. 👌

A wonderfully warm welcome is always part of the service here. It really makes you feel as if you're returning to a regular local. Just on a scale suited to corporate entertaining. I particularly love the ambience of the listed building with tasteful industrial decor matched beautifully alongside massively high windows allowing the large space to be drenched in sunshine all day long. The menus are varied and our party of 25 were easily accommodated and everyone really enjoyed their well prepared meals and the service which was friendly, professional, and prompt. Will definitely be returning soon.

Quello che sembra far davvero la differenza è l'attenzione del personale ai dettagli. Sempre molto disponibili ed è chiaro che vogliono fare bella figura. Si mangia molto bene, piatti molto abbondanti e di ottima qualità. Il cocktail della settimana offre una novità al vostro solito bere. Se siete sperimentatori e non vi affidate sempre al solito drink, potrebbe essere una piacevole scoperta. Ottima la scelta delle birre (la lager del Galles è ottima tra l'altro). Insomma, consigliato, ma non aspettatevi un ristorante 3 stelle Michelin, qui si respira aria di casa e a me, piace. Complimenti a tutto lo staff.

Had a fantastic meal and service. Was initially concerned that it was based in a hotel but the restaurant, food, ambience and service exceeded my expectations by far. Antony, who served us, was an absolute shining star and the company should be very proud of him. Thank you for a lovely evening :-)

We found this little gem around the corner from where we were staying in Cardiff & what a little find it was! The staff were so welcoming & we had the loveliest guy wait on us. He was so chatty, helpful & friendly! The food was delicious & I devoured every bit of it! Such a cosy atmosphere & really cool vibe & decor. We were delighted with this find & would love to visit again when we're back in Cardiff.

We were staying at the Ibis budget and this was the closest place to have dinner. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, thank you very much! The food isn't the cheapest, so maybe not the best value for money (the salads don't have much in them apart from lettuce/rocket but the burgers are good) but it's good and the setting is really lovely.

Staying at the Novotel and popped in for a drink - Anthony was incredibly attentive and helped with any questions we had Also had a good laugh with him! The other bar staff seemed very nice though we didn’t actually end up speaking to them :) They could only accept cash for tips (at the time maybe?) though so if you value their service (which is great!) take some cash Would always recommend - great atmosphere and v rustic/old but modern feel to it all

Chicken tikka masala which seemed to be boiled chicken in tomato soup with so called naan bread which was brittle.
