Love love secret garden! Loving the new returb! Whatever the weather, SG is the perfect spot for a cute drink with your people. The staff are so friendly, and make the experience super personal! Would defo recommend, make sure to try the white Sangria sharing pitcher, it’s a must <3 Julia has been amazing in recommending drinks, and making our experience the best!

I was served by Julia and she was full of energy; good conversation and service with a smile, would recommend to anyone! Perfect cocktail, maticulously made with love and effort, she changed my idea about tequila and suggested a honey bee margarita instead 😊

This place is definitely one to visit! Came here with a couple friends for some cocktails before our night out. When we got seated we asked the server what cocktails we should have. We got recommended the banoffi bliss which was so rich yet creamy I’ve never had anything like it! My friend got the gin preserve and as a gin lover she said that it was really tasty. Special thank you to Kieran for the direction, jokes and welcoming, you’d be lucky to have him accommodate you if you come here!

Approached the door and had a drunk demand my ticket, when I asked the bouncer if I could get in, the bouncer informed me that the drunk who was slurring his words and getting in my face was the manager/owner!! We couldn't believe it and politely refused to go in. The "owner" then became gobby which really ruined our expectations of the place and really brings down the reputation of the business. I wouldn't recommend coming here until they are under new "management"

Cocktails are good but pricey. Had a lemonade which was made with a glass of water + a shot of lemon concentrate: cost is like £0.10. It's not real lemonade at all, should be called 'drink with lemon flavour'. But they charge £5.00/£6.00 depending on the amount of water in the glass . Crazy times...

RUDE OWNER AVOID So called “owner” was stood at the door and was very rude to my party. If he didn’t want to let us in could have said no but instead chose to be arrogant and power hungry. Embarrassment would never visit.

Very disappointed, arrived and tried to get in but their was man at the door claiming to be the owner who was extremely rude, I spoke to the bouncer at the door, as I did not believe this man as he appeared to be extremely drunk as he was slurring his words and couldn’t stand up properly, asked if this man worked their to which he said yes. I do hope this gentleman understands how unprofessional this is.

The drinks I had were really good. I had a banoffee bliss and was the best cocktail I’ve had. Steve the bartender was amazing!

The girls working are lovely, food snacks are mediocre, drinks normal, decor like every other garden with lights and fake plants. Theres a guy working there though who is so pompous and rude. Ruined our vibe because of his high and mighty attitude. He might be the manager there but still no need to use look down on people. (He might not be the manager though)

If 0 was available I would give 0. I booked for my birthday nearly a whole month in advance just to be rang 6 days before to be told they have a event on that night and ‘ I shouldn’t have been able to book’ I asked why I wasn’t told sooner seeing as I booked it now 3 weeks ago and was told they only look at the bookings a week before and that they would send me a refund for my booking and that’s all. I booked a table for 12 and they offered me to come in but there would be no seating and we would have to stand all night and that half of us would now have to pay to come in. Poor management. Poor customer service and policies regarding checking bookings last minute. I asked for a manager to ring me but so far to no success. Would avoid booking to save from last minute disappointment.

Went for the England semi Finals and wow this place is such a hidden gem, which I had discovered this place a long time ago, it’s awesome. Pints aren’t even that pricey either

Service was rubbish, this has been one of my favourite places in Nottingham but not anymore. So disappointed I didn’t last the entire reservation time.

The Secret Garden Nottingham is a complete rip-off. They charge an overpriced £10 entry fee for what they claim is a rave party, but it’s far from it. The dance floor is tiny, packed with blokes, and there’s no room to dance. To make matters worse, the floor was littered with broken glass. The bouncers at the gate were incredibly rude and refused to let us back in after stepping out, despite having paid the entry fee. Save your money and go somewhere else—this place is a total scam.

Horrendous service this evening. Not enough staff to get through orders for a private function. Sat ages waiting for drinks. Cocktails are just ice and no substance. Gone downhill. Won’t be back!!

Very cute place for either a coffee or drinks. There are board games around the tables which makes a friend gathering more fun. The staff is very kind and the ambiance pleasing.

Great little garden hidden away and unless you are looking for it you not find it! Biggest down side is them needing to hold your card behind the bar whilst you are there. They should just go with pay as you order as didn't feel comfortable doing this!

Came over to Nottingham for a spontaneous day out and fell upon this hidden gem! Courtney seated us and looked after us for the afternoon and couldn’t have been more amazing, giving us plenty recommendations (all of which were 10/10) made sure we never had an empty glass and even pointed us in the right direction of where to carry on our evening! We had such a good experience at Secret Garden. Me and my partner were made to feel very welcome by Courtney (the girl with the red hair) who made our experience stand out from a lot of other bars in Nottingham as she was so sweet and full of recommendations and knowledge. We will definitely be back as soon as possible.

Not impressed at all miserable staff not good manners dirty disgusting toilets that dont flush death trap stairs to go to toilet 7 quid for a gin lemonade that tasted like lemonade hen do booking food wasnt nice and bottom less cocktails tasted like pop i dont drink and it didnt evan tickle my little toe suppose its what you make it but sorry rather dissapointed for money looks good but ied think twice before booking

SOMETHING ISN’T RIGHT HERE! They take a card, place it in a insecure location, and then say they can’t find it. But miraculously the following day someone tries to buy their shopping in the supermarket with the card they couldn’t find!! Don’t hand over a card to them.

I had a fantastic evening here recently with my gal pals, the cocktails are so impressive and the bartender Fan was so friendly, sweet and informative, making the experience ten times better! I particularly loved the Devious Toucan cocktail, it was to die for, and the atmosphere was so cool here. My friend had a Piña Colada and said it was super creamy and the best Piña Colada she'd ever had, thank you again for a wonderful evening and you will definitely be seeing me soon!

Went with a few friends to the ABBA experience. Tickets were extremely expensive for what was given. You would think for £10-25 a ticket at least one drink would be included. Tickets were definitely oversold as it was so cramped in there, very little seating and took 40 minutes to get a drink each time you wanted one. Drinks were also very overpriced for what you got, especially the cocktails. Overall I would go again but not during one of their theme days

We attended the ABBA brunch £25 a ticket you would at least expect a cava for that but no queued ages at bar it wasn’t a garden it’s a decked area we were crammed in boiling hot couldn’t get to shaded bit faded artificial flowers on walls music great ABBA drag artist was great I wouldn’t recommend this if they dropped there entrance fee maybe but you paid for the music that’s it

Such a shame. The place had a really nice idea for it’s design. Was really let down by the staff, they were so unbothered and came off as rude. Took ages for us to get 1 round of drinks, which some of us arrived later and were going to order when the first round of drinks came but because it took so long we didn’t bother. It was such a dampener on the evening that we asked for the bill straight away and left. Won’t be going there again unfortunately.

I was going to go for an espresso martini but the bartender Sophie recommend a cocktail similar since I asked for a less sweeter cocktail. I’ve never had a bartender so attentive to my personal taste!

1st and last time here, Friday night no one in but us and the staff. Table service only, I d or card to be left behind the bar for the tab, (not happy doing that) drinks expensive and very poor. Asked for mine to be changed as I ordered a Long Island ice tea, no taste of alcohol, the remade drink was exactly the same very weak and for some reason frothy. Not a great experience and not a place I would recommend

Came here after initial plans got derailed. Got sat quickly at a table, was told it was table service and they required a card for a tab. That was grand, then was told by the manager that they would send someone over in 2-3 mins. Didn’t happen had to flag down the bar person, which took a while and had to be pointed out by another table they attempted to serve. We ordered 4 drinks they got one of the cocktails wrong and the rest were about average. After returning the incorrect drink to the bar, they quickly made the correct replacement. After finishing our drinks we were offered more drinks twice by the staff which we refused. When it came time to settle the bill they attempted to charge use for 8drinks with a bill of £74.00. Having only one round of drinks this was a bit steep, when we explained this to the member of staff we were met with a poor attitude that we were to blame for the miscalculation. The manager then attended and took about 20 mins to try and get to the bottom of the over charging, and insinuated we had extra drinks and was attempting to ditch. I had to ask for my card 3 times before I got it back. The manager appeared highly stressed and had to get the bouncer in for moral support. However it is understandable with the fact his staff made a mistake that was going to put him in a £30 deficit in his till. Was eventually able to settle the bill for the correct amount but poor experience nun the less. Went to coco tang great cocktails and would highly recommend them Definitely won’t be back to the secret garden

A decent enough outside bar, aesthetics were absolutely on point. Drinks prices were a little high for the quality on tap but would definitely revisit in the hopes I have a better experience as it has a really decent vibe. Biggest turn off was having to hand over my payment card to keep open a tab before leaving. Would have preferred to pay for my drinks as I order them.

Had a nice experience when i was here, liked the idea of this outdoor space being used this way. Little disappointed that the owners wont give the staff any credit card tips, especially given its a card only venue??? I know times are tough for independent businesses but theyre just as hard for employees, i can only assume its because the owners dont want to pay the card fees. I dont carry cash so couldnt tip Marc for his good service.

It’s all show and no go. This bar is really over priced for the level a service you get. Not only that, but you have to pre book your table and put a deposit down when doing so. But when we were seated they put us on a table suited for two people when there was four of us and you can imagine how tight the space was with four lads on this table. The table that we were at was right in front of the toilets. (sheds for the toilets, quite literally garden sheds) Overall I would not recommend this bar when visiting Nottingham.

Beware 2 for 1 on sundays after 8pm. Not on bank holiday sunday but no where does it warn you on the menu. When questioned it's down to management . Trading standards will be informed to look at this as it is so wrong even a member of staff agrees.

I gave this 1 star because there was no option for 0 star. We had to pay a fiver to reserve a table, they sat us next to the shed toilets which stunk of urine, then took quite a while to take our order, after having taken our bank card, we decided to leave asap n they refused to return the fiver. Wouldn't bother ever again as prices were very expensive.
