No.33 Cafe Bar in Norwich

We visited the site in Chapelfield Gardens. This site has both indoor and outdoor seating with a good amount of seating for a small space. It was quite loud inside with people talking and music but I didn’t mind this. We were greeted and seated straight away around 1pm on a Friday. The brunch menu has many options for both adults and children as well as a large selection of drinks. I also noticed they had plenty of vegetarian options too! We had tea, pancakes and a sausage ciabatta. The tea was hot and loose leaf, very nice! And the food was also hot and generous portions. I will say that the service felt quite rushed, and we weren’t asked if everything was okay. Just something to consider. We will definitely be visiting again here for brunch!

One of the best breakfasts we have had! This was our first visit to No 33 at Chapelfield Gardens. We were given a gift voucher for my Birthday. Luckily we had booked an early table for 9.45am on Good Friday so beat the ques, We received a lovely warm greeting from the staff, quickly seated and orders taken. I had a cappuccino and Breakfast Muffin. My partner had a pot of tea and a full breakfast. Everything came within 15 minutes, the muffin was stacked high and delicious - the Bacon Jam was the star of the show. My partners plate was full of the most delicious looking food. There was a real buzz to this place, and everything looked and tasted so fresh, a new firm favourite when visiting the city.

I don't queue for anything and thank goodness I didn't here. People queue on a Saturday but it is all hype. Food is just OK, staff are arrogant as they think the 'queues' make them like a cafe in New York. Hot chocolate was cold and eggs overcooked.

This is a popular spot and people queue outside to get in. The isn’t a lot of room so tables are quite close together. They have a vegan and non vegan menu. I chose a freshly squeezed juice and a club sandwich. The juice was odd as it was not set at all - just tasted of cucumber. The club sandwich was huge (no problem with portion sizes) but there was only a couple of limp lettuces inside which may have been microwaved- the huge pieces of chicken breast meat has definitely been reheated as it had that distinctive flavour chicken gets when microwaved. The bacon was nice and thick. Overall disappointing meal I could have done better at home and the staff were very keen to move us on as soon as we had eaten. Felt like a conveyor belt. Won’t come again- oh and the toilet was dirty

Laura was the best worker I’ve ever seen, she is a credit to the company. The food wasn’t to bad either. No smoothies which I was disappointed with.

Me and my husband frequently visit Cafe 33 on exchange street and have always been thrilled with the experience. We recently went to the new cafe 33 in the park. I really enjoyed my meal but my partner was disappointed that that eggs Benedict was now served on standard muffins rather than the delicious sourdough bread. It is worth noting that we love the cafe from cafe 33 but sometimes we prefer to take it home to have later. However, every time we get takeaway cake it tastes completely different than it does in the shop because of the chemical taste that seeps in from the bottom of the box. I know this is something people have mentioned before and was wondering if it could be rectified or a compromise could be made (e.g. laying a napkin on the bottom of the box). I plan to update this review in the following months to see if the takeaway box situation changes.

We went for breakfast and were so impressed. One of us had a breakfast bun, the other had an eggs Benedict. Both absolutely delicious and with lovely fresh ingredients - the eggs were beautiful. We were really well looked after by the staff, even as things started to get busier - it’s clearly (and understandably!) a popular place. An amazing breakfast that set us up for the day!

We visited No32 cafe in Norwich on an early Saturday morning. Having been previously, I was aware there would be a wait outside and that was fine. I think we waited about 20 mins. Once we were inside we were seated near the door which was constantly opening and closing, allowing for the cold air to drift through right in the path of our table - glad I kept a coat and scarf on! There’s alot of variety on the menu, so it’s quite a challenge to just choose one as all looked so appealing. Food came out and it was very tasty! I would definitely go again for another breakfast. Service was ok, nothing outstanding to note but nothing to complain about either.

Came here today for the first time, and was certainly not disappointed! Due to an egg allergy we had the vegan pankacke stack each and a dirty chai latte eash as well. Both were utterly delicious and the staff were all lovely and friendly as well. We will definitely be back!

Top-class service and lovely food in an excellent park location make for a great breakfast experience. We sat out side in the sun which was great. The food was very good and best of all the lady serving us was absolutely lovely and gave top-quality service. Highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch in Norwich.

We live in Norwich and cafe 33 is our usual place to go for brunch or lunch. We always enjoyed the selection of different dishes. I was a bit disappointed with my recent visit. I ordered smashed avocado and poached eggs on supposedly sourdough bread. It was definitely not a sourdough bread. It was a soft style bread which you can buy from the shop. Sourdough after toasting becomes crispy and has a completely different texture and taste. Bread source make real sourdough bread. I can understand that to maintain the same price in recent times is difficult due to rising prices but honesty is appreciated more, especially that you have a lot of regular customers. You used to serve really good bread, but recently I see a lot of not so good substitutes.

Quite possibly the best breakfast i have had. I had the Naanwich, which was full of flavour and delicious. I am looking forward to my next visit to Norwich so I can come back again.

Nice little cafe in the Norwich independent scene. Great selection of cafe, the coffee and walnut was excellent. Coffee was solid not exceptional but the overall experience was good. Service good, ambience nice.

Queue outside the door was a bit off putting, but went down in no time 5 mins max. Very tasty lunch, plenty of vegan and veggie options...too much to eat really. Excellent service. Would definitely dine there again

Visiting Norwich and asked a local for a breakfast recommendation! Wow we got lucky. A charming cafe and a seriously interesting menu. We thoroughly enjoyed the Naanwich … a spiced up English Breakfast served in naan bread. If we were local we would certainly be regulars!

Friendly staff and very busy, but managed to get a seat upstairs. Got the sausage and egg bagel which was lovely and the vegan breakfast sandwich which was huge and good too. Got a portion of halloumi and also sweet potato fries which were biiigggg. Especially the sweet potatoes which was great value for money!! Definitely recommend this place. Cakes on counter looked good too.

Love this cafe! It's always sooo busy but staff are always friendly and attentive and have time for you. Just had some coffee and cake to take away but had to leave a review as the cake we had was amazing! Chocolate orange and 100% worth the trip out for. Can't wait to sit in one day!

We have been to this lovely little Cafe on many occasions and can yet fault it. The food is fresh as can be, the place is really welcoming and staff great you with a smile. If you are going for your first time you will not be disappointed if you go for the pancakes these are something else. We have tried the halummi, hash browns, pancakes, many of the different choices of cakes on offer and a few of the many beers and wines. All have been a hit with us both.

Stopped here for brunch with my daughter, she had the pancakes with fruit & syrup, I had the sourdough, bacon, mushrooms & egg open sandwich. The service was excellent & the food superb.

Went with my daughter who just moved to Norwich.We had to wait about 10-15 minutes to get in and place was busy. I had pancakes and fruit which was lovely but struggled to finish it and my daughter had sweetcorn fritters.We both had coffee also [I placed an order for a flat white and then requested to change it after the waitress took the order and left the table and she was pleasant about it].Really enjoyed it all and will return when I visit Norwich again.

Very good menu with lots of vegetarian and vegan choices.We had tea and cake:- Kashmiri loose leaf tea and the Chocolate Banana Cake with Nutella Drizzle- English breakfast tea and Victoria spongeDelicious!Great service as well.Unfortunately in these Covid19 times you will probably have to queue outside before getting a table, but we only waited about 10 minutes.

Absolutely delicious and great big portions. I had the falafel then a slice of coffee and walnut to take away. Great service. No wonder there is a queue. Please open in the evening and serve cocktails and dinner too!

The best place to eat in Norwich. I’m not even exaggerating. Food is the best I ever had eating out. Best quality. Not even talking about their amazing cakes. If I could, I would eat there everyday. Highly recommended.

Nuestra camarera Natalia fue genial, nos hizo sentir bienvenidos. Soy un poco conocedor del café y puedo decir que fue perfecto conseguir un capuchino de avena perfecto puede ser difícil debido a la leche y la persona detrás de la barra lo hizo a la perfección, trajo nuestras bebidas y estaba sonriente y agradable. además. La comida tardó un poco más en llegar, pero como era fin de semana es comprensible.Al propietario / gerente, quiero decirle que tiene un gran personal, no se deshaga de ellos.Día absolutamente perfecto en el no 33. ¡No puedo esperar para volver a visitarlo! ! ! !

Nunca en mi vida había recibido un servicio tan malo. La camarera arruinó mi pedido, lo cual no es un problema, pero luego no lo resolvió. Para agregar, también cobraron de más a 4 miembros del grupo y fueron irrazonablemente condescendientes e increíblemente groseros cuando se les preguntó sobre dicho tema. No me habría enfadado con la factura sobrecargada si la camarera no hubiera sido tan grosera. Necesitan mejorar enormemente su servicio al cliente y en el futuro, si ellos son los que han cometido el error, deben ser ellos los que lo solucionen; y no de una manera grosera. Nunca me ha tratado una camarera tan condescendiente y le aconsejo a cualquiera que esté pensando en cenar allí, que no lo haga. No volveré a comer allí después de un servicio tan atroz.

Este popular café sirve una variedad de almuerzos ligeros y pasteles. El té y el café son realmente buenos. Teníamos los Posh Mushrooms y Halloumi, ambos muy sabrosos y abundantes. El servicio fue amigable y eficiente. Tienes que pagar en el mostrador cuando hayas terminado tu comida, pero funcionó bien. Tienen salida en la parte trasera para evitar pellizcos.

Tuvimos un buen brunch en el Bar 33 con mi amigo el fin de semanaEstaba ocupado pero todavía covid seguro.La comida era muy buena, los pasteles son geniales y el café también era genial.El personal estaba un poco apresurado, no tuvimos la oportunidad de terminar nuestro pedido antes de que se fueran, pero estaba bastante ocupado ese día.Volveremos.

Desafortunadamente, este lugar no es tan bueno como solía ser. El menú ha cambiado, pero no para mejor, el personal es muy, muy grosero. La comida fue servida por el portero de la cocina y la calidad era muy mala. Nadie se molestó en volver a revisar, no pudo llamar la atención de nadie para dar su opinión. Pagó y se fue sin que le preguntaran si todo estaba bien. Muy triste ya que solía ser mi lugar favorito.

Una vez más, mi visita a Norwich fue genial. Y la mejor parte del día fue el desayuno en el número 33 y qué manera de empezar el día. Con COVID - 19 alrededor, el personal fue genial y te sientes seguro en la cafetería. Lástima que no saqué ninguna foto pero las tortitas y el salmón ahumado y los huevos lo mejor. Lovely place with amazing cake. Highly recommend chocolate and raspberry cake, light, fluffy, moist and not dense. Could have eaten the whole cake!!

Great place, easy atmosphere, excellent and copious food (vegan-friendly), good coffee and tea, friendly service, Television and the Stooges playing in the background, what more could you ask for?

Food was delicious and the chai latte was the best I've tasted. Short wait to enter but absolutely worth it. Staff were very friendly and all wearing masks. Great atmosphere, would certainly recommend.

Hemos estado una vez antes y estuvo muy ocupado, increíble, pero tenemos 2 niños pequeños, ¡así que esto puede ser un desafío! Cuando regresamos esta vez, esperamos una mesa como lo hicimos antes de unos 15 minutos, ¡se aclaró bastante rápido! Nos sentamos y todo fue perfecto. Nuestra camarera fue increíble, el servicio fue rápido, eficiente y amable. ¡La comida era increíble, especialmente los panqueques y mi moca helado era para morirse! Fueron muy complacientes con nuestros hijos, lo cual realmente aprecio, definitivamente no lo dejaré tanto antes de que regresemos. ¡Nos sentimos muy seguros a pesar de otros comentarios que leí! ¡Gracias No. 33 te amamos!

1 viaje de calle a Norwich. busqué en google un café que sirviera sin gluten. Tuvimos un corto paseo desde el centro para ubicar la cafetería. Tuvimos que hacer cola un poco y valió la pena la espera. Salchichas locales, pan de novia local. ¡GUAUU! ! Fue realmente delicioso. Teníamos pastel para ir demasiado lleno. La esponja gf Victoria. . . ¡DIOS MIO! ! ¡GUAUU! ! De nuevo delicioso. Si volvemos a visitar, comeremos allí de nuevo.

Queued up for breakfast yesterday, and once again it was so very worth the wait! Fantastic service, fantastic food, just ace. If you are local or visiting, don’t hesitate, terrific place.

Mi pareja y yo visitamos Norwich y decidimos tomar un brunch en la cafetería. Como no aceptan reservas, nos dirigimos a la cafetería y hicimos cola durante unos 10/15 minutos. El servicio fue bueno, había mucha variedad en el menú. Ambos platos estaban deliciosos (ver fotos) y no tuvimos que esperar demasiado. Solo estaba un poco disgustado con el café. Pedí un café con leche helado con un chupito extra, y pedí específicamente que fuera fuerte en el café. Fue decepcionante, pero la comida era increíble y el ambiente agradable y relajado.

Hemos estado aquí antes, antes de Covid, y no tendríamos quejas sobre la comida o el servicio. En base a eso, venir a tomar un café (y posiblemente un refrigerio) siempre estuvo en las cartas durante este viaje a Norwich. Las cosas empezaron bien, y hay un sistema de colas claro para una entrada de ida, y nos pidieron que nos desinfectamos las manos y una encantadora señora que contrataría si tuviera un café nos tomó los detalles. PERO. . . No viajo con una cinta métrica, pero incluso sin una, lo mejor es que supongo que cuando está al máximo de su capacidad (como casi lo estaba), las distancias entre las personas en las mesas están a veces muy por debajo de la marca de 1 m. También nos desanimó el hecho de que ninguno de los miembros del personal llevaba ninguna máscara / cubierta facial. Ahora bien, si leo las directrices gubernamentales correctamente, el personal de esos lugares no está obligado a cubrirse la cara. Mi único pensamiento aquí es que en realidad no usamos una cubierta facial para protegernos a nosotros mismos, usamos una para proteger a los demás si llevamos (y propagamos) el virus. En base a eso, creo que sería prudente que por seguridad, protección y respeto justo a sus clientes, todos los 'servidores' (o como se suponga que los llame en estos días) usen una cubierta facial en este momento. También siento la necesidad de resaltar que la mayor parte del personal de servicio son claramente millennials, y como se nos dice, los millennials son los que prestan la menor cantidad de atención a las reglas / pautas de distanciamiento social, y en varias ocasiones hice una mueca como no. La máscara millennial se puso bien a un metro de alguien en una mesa, y sin siquiera pensarlo dos veces. Lamentablemente, bebimos nuestras bebidas (rápidamente) y abandonamos las instalaciones, y no volveremos hasta que Covid sea historia. Por favor. . . sepárense y respeten la salud y la seguridad de sus clientes. No se convierta en un punto de acceso de Covid.

After a day looking around Norwich we found this cafe and was not disappointed the staff are very good , decaf tea, black coffee , Victoria sponge and coffee and walnut cake were as good as you will get, worth a visit when in town

Fueron muy serviciales ya que éramos tres adultos y un bebé en un cochecito. Todos elegimos cosas diferentes de un extenso menú, y todos quedamos muy contentos con nuestras comidas. Nuestra camarera fue encantadora y pasó tiempo con nosotros asegurándose de que todas nuestras preguntas fueran respondidas por completo. Sin duda volvería a visitar.

You usually have to queue to get in but never for long and once you’re inside service is quick. The vegan meal options are just as good as they have great substitutes. Portion sizes are amazing considering the relatively cheap price. Delicious food and lovely staff. Can’t believe I haven’t been sooner!

I visited this cafe with a friend who absolutely loves it here, now I know why! There is plenty to choose from on the main menu with a fantastic selection for vegetarians (I always struggle with a lack of vegetarian options when dining out) and also a vast selection of fresh homemade cakes aswell! I highly recommend the macaroni cheese and sweet potato fries, they were to die for! Will definitely be returning.

Oh yes. No 33 has been on our B Holiday brekkie list for a while and we are glad we decided to join the queue, (even longer than the norm as it was the last day of EO&HO). We were cheerily greeted and, duly sanitised, shown to our table in the appropriately spaced original cafe area which has a great buzz and ambience. All the staff were very friendly and efficient and even though the queue outside was continuous, not at all ‘pushy’ whilst working flat out. I went for the No33 breakfast which was very filling and tasty with quality ingredients and Sue had the Eggs Benedict with ham which she rated highly, the coffee and juices were also excellent. The final bill, thanks to EO&HO was under £14, but even at full price would have been good VFM, for what we believe to be the best breakfast venue ‘up City’ Thanks to all at No33 we will be back.

Popped into the city for breakfast with my wife and what a find this place was.The food was incredible, I had the Mexican breakfast which was lovely and my wife had the vegetarian breakfast with added bacon. The decor and ambiance is very trendy and the service was very friendly and professional.Would highly recommend this place if you want a stylish breakfast at a very competitive price.

I wanted 20 minutes for a table but they had a good system to keep people queuing away from people passing. I was impressed with how fast my order was taken and food arrived. Food was very good too. All round great service.

Worth the wait to get in! Vegan chocolate cake to die for, huge portions too! Staff were rushed off their feet but attentive, composed and always friendly. So impressed with the whole experience, thank you!

Great cafe with a nice vibe, friendly and attentive staff and, most importantly, a great selection of food and drink! Breakfast is served all day, and there's a great menu with plenty of choice whether you are an omnivore or veggie/vegan. We went twice during our weekend in Norwich. First visit I had the Mediterranean breakfast, coffee and sourdough toast, all amazing. Service visit I tried the mushrooms with goats cheese and caramelised onion, again on sourdough toast which was delicious! Highly recommend, even if you have to wait a little while for a table, you'll be glad you did!

Takeaway service used, very good, thankfully they allow takeaways not to que in the street..... Cakes are superb as always

I had the Mexican breakfast and my gf had the sweetcorn fritters. Both were delicious but the chorizo got a bit stodgy after a while but it was what was on the menu. Everything else was amazing and my gfs meal was great. I will be going back as there were so many other delicious options available.

I really was spoiled for choice with the vege food options here. I had pancakes and my non vege family members had the full breakfast. My daughter wanted the sweet potatoes fries. The portion sizes were huge and none of us finished our plates, it was not the lack of trying though! The surprise hit in the breakfast was the tomatoes. Not sure what they were marinaded in but they were delicious according to the family. A real treat and worth the que to get in!

My 16 year old daughter is a huge fan of Number 33 and while she was having breakfast here, alone, this morning she suffered a physical episode.She subsequently told me that staff were immediately attentive, reassuring and supported her while she recovered.Later, I phoned and spoke to the cafe and thanked them for looking after her. But I thought it was also worth letting other people know here. Thank you

We arrived for breakfast in the first week post covid opening.The cafe was busy but extremely well organised and we got a table for 5 very quickly. We ordered a range of different breakfasts and all were extremely tasty . Service was very quick and friendly. The cheesy mushrooms were particularly nice. We also got a discount as we were staying in the air bnb run by the owners which was an added bonus. All in all, an excellent meal and experience.

A very good selection of breakfast and lunches from the bog standard full English to the more unusually. The place was almost full when we arrived so lucky to get a table and service was good. Try a bit of cake to go. All in all at the expensive end of the scale for breakfast but worth it.

We called in for brunch , we had been recommended by friends . Good location ,friendly and helpful staff . Sadly let down by the food . I ordered eggs Benedict , when it arrived the soda bread was very crusty and extremely thick ,which made it very difficult to cut even with the steak knife I was supplied with , the ham was delicious , the poached eggs should have been the stars of the show , but, were made in moulds not in a professional manner and were both rock hard , which meant the drizzle of sauce on the dish was not sufficient to moisten it, which I had meant it was extremely dry . Off day ? Maybe . Perhaps I need to try again . Atmosphere was terrific though .

In Norwich for two days, most of which were spent walking around sightseeing. Which gets very tiring!So, we decided to stop for coffee and cake somewhere (it was mid afternoon, but we had had a large breakfast). We came across this cafe and went for it.We were quickly seated and wondered what to have. But then the person on the next table had their food delivered, and it looked lovely, so we changed our minds and had something more substantial.I had corn fritters with halloumi and guacamole - wonderful quality. I don't even like guacamole, but theirs was fantastic!My wife had mushrooms and goat's cheese on sour dough toast, and that too was delicious.We would certainly come again if in the city.

Hate to say a curmudgeonly word, since every single person working there was calm, friendly, charming. However, the poached egg was solid, the bacon dry and the tiny pats of butter so inadequate for the inert slab of toast. Tea was fine!

Another magnificent brunch. The Chorizo Hash matched my first experience from last year, amazing. Her Maj really enjoyed the Swetcorn Fritters. Staff friendly and efficient as ever. Thanks, always a pleasure.

We had breakfast and coffee here. The place is really popular, people queue out of the door. The coffee and bacon sandwich were very good and there were so many options for food people were constantly coming in to buy takeaway cakes. Unfortunately we were sat by the door and didn’t realise how many people would be stood around us waiting for a table and we couldn’t even get through them to pay (our fault). I would just advise not to sit by the door. We enjoyed our breakfast just wouldn’t return as there are so may options in Norwich that are less crowded.

The staff are so lovely and accommodating and the food is wonderful, really enjoyed my visit this afternoon.

There was a queue for lunch but everything is so well organised that we did not have to wait long for a table. The food arrived quickly and was excellent. The portions were very generous and everything was delicious. So much so that we asked our hotel for a refund of our breakfast so that we could go back to No. 33 for breakfast. The best pancakes I have had with tons of greek yoghurt and pecans. I am still thinking about that breakfast and wishing I did not live so far from Norwich. I would love to go back.

Busy cafe bar lots of atmosphere and wonderful food. Discovered this via a family member who uses it regularly. Don’t panic if there’s a queue they have an efficient table system and you’ll soon be seated and tucking in to one of their delicious snacks, lunches or cakes. Well worth a visit.

A lovely buzzing atmosphere and interesting food. One friend needs gluten free, one is a vegetarian and I don’t have any special needs. All found an interesting choice.

Great choice on the menu with many different brunch/all day breakfast dishes. Would have loved to try the cakes so will have to go back for those! I had the sweetcorn fritters and my friend had the poached egg and guacamole on toast, both of which were tasty and all the other food we saw looked great too. Really nice atmosphere and obviously a very popular cafe.

I ordered the pancakes and a cappucino, all very good and fast, the service was good, I just waited a little bit for the table.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, very tasty breakfast decent coffee and juices, nice place to sit and rest up on a shopping day. Very lovely place

2nd visit to this wonderful establishment yesterday for brunch with girlfriends.

We went for cake and tea/coffee. There was a reasonable selection of half a dozen deep cakes. We were served generous slices of cake but the cake was quite dry (not the best I have tasted). We were crammed in to placed barely adequate for our party. On the plus side the service was good.

We went there before 9 am on a weekday for breakfast - already busy but got a nice table and really pleasant service - the food was good - I had the pancake with fruit - others had vegan breakfast and traditional breakfast - all nice but if I’m being picky thought the pancakes seemed a tad sweet to go with the fruit and syrup but they were deliciously fluffy and most beautifully presented - think I will try the eggs Benedict next time as the person on next table mentioned they were perfect !By the time we left a large queue had formed so very busy morning

Haven't been to no.33 for lunch before, so I was really looking forward to trying it. I was worried about the length of queue that I have seen on passing no.33, but I managed to get a table straight away. I had the sweet potato bubble and squeak with a poached egg on top and my friend had the same, but with bacon.

Arrived late afternoon to No33. Pleasantly asked to take a seat and take a menu. Unfortunately no service followed and after a 15 min wait we left. Staff were seating customers and clearing tables but did not seemed interested in talking orders and just watched as we left.We have been before and service was slow but food /drinks were good. Shame .

I've been to this cafe for brunch and for afternoon tea and cake. Both experiences were brilliant. Service was prompt and friendly, and there seems to be plenty of space (i.e. for walk ins). The menu isn't very cheap, but the quality and quantity is great. The slices of cake were very generous! I had the avocado and eggs on toast for brunch, which was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this spot for food or for tea/coffee. Warm and welcoming.

First visit to this eatery. Great atmosphere, excellent staff - friendly and attentive in a relaxed way. We both selected a simple breakfast sandwich and were impressed with the flavour, presentation and speed of service. The rest of the menu looked interesting too, so will definitely return when next in this lovely city. By the way, the prices were very reasonable too!

Cafe No.33 is my latest obsession. The service and food cannot be faulted. My FAVOURITE place for breakfast/brunch/lunch! Always go for the Posh Mushrooms!

We happened to pass by shortly before closing on a Sunday afternoon but with enough time for coffee and cake! Slices of cake are huge - or certainly late in the day! Brownie by contrast was small and unimpressive. Would go again for aure

I have seen people queuing up outside for breakfast which may well be this cafe’s strong suit, but we went in the afternoon for coffee and cake. The waitress never came close to cracking a smile. I’m pretty sure we got the wrong kind of chocolate cake (which was a generous slice but by no means the best I’ve tasted) and the acoustics made it seem very noisy. The interior is certainly not cosy and I’m not particularly motivated to return.

Very busy even on a Monday morning..quite a wait but worth waiting for..I had guacamole on sourdough..delicious...and hubby had bacon sandwich...could not fault anything,staff were friendly and efficient..will go back when next in Norwich..

Although very busy, we only had a short wait for a table, staff very friendly and attentive, food lovely and well presented, looking forward to our next visit ☺

We both ordered the chorizo hash which was a hearty and really tasty breakfast. The food was freshly cooked and yummy. The place was buzzing and we had to wait for five minutes to get a table. They had decaf tea and the service was prompt and friendly.

The food here is outstanding, caters for all diets as far as I can see from the meat feast that is the chorizo hash to perfect eggs benedict with salmon or spinach. Bring your appetite, the portions are very generous and excellent value. It is very popular so sometimes a little wait is worth it. Staff are really friendly and attentive.

Went in for a late breakfast/brunch on a November Tuesday. Service was efficient, friendly and helpful despite being busy. No problem with Gluten free as I have an intolerence. Wide selection of options for food from breakfast to main meal.

After looking all over Norwich to find a good cafe that did good food a reasonable prices I stumbled across no 33 cafe I had the big breakfast and it did not dissapoint really good quality food staff very friendly but not in your face all in all a great cafe and by the amount of people who were in there it will be around a long time

Visited this lovely little place for coffee. The coffee was very hot and really good. Decided to have lunch as well as the menu looked so good. I had macaroni cheese with chorizo, which was a really good choice. My lunch was extremely tasty. I decided to have cake as well as my friend recommended it. The cake was delicious, shame they didn't have my first choice but not the end of the world. My piece of cake was still really good. I felt it was good value for how tasty it was. I will certainty be coming back.

We had a lovely snack at No33 on Friday. As I am not a cake eater it was lovely to have some toast with marmite so late in the afternoon 4.15pm which is very hard to get in many places. My husband had a potion of chocolate orange cake which looked huge and he said was very tasty, We have often visited there with our young grandson and he loves going there. The Latte was nice and hot and good size mugs.

I always been to cafe 33 when i got the time esp when i no longer work close to Norwich i am wells next the sea i love portion size even i always have pancakes with bacon and bananas would like to try chorizo egg next always busy will is good especially u guys got next door good decision maybe it continues thanks hon

To some extent a victim of its own high quality, it is often hard to get a table in here. Today however we were up early enough for brekky.

Couldn't take the cold grey mizzly anymore so headed to Cafe 33 for some serious comfort food - the most delicious (and best value) cakes in Norwich, or anywhere else tbh, but... the new addition to the menu on the table next door just looked so inviting, had to try it.

The food was delicious. I had the field mushrooms with goats cheese on garlic sourdough toast.

I visited the Cafe on a lunchtime during half term with my son who was on his lunch break, we had to wait for a table which is to be expected at a busy lunchtime, we waited about 15/20 minutes but several people came in and left due to the long wait. Once we were seated we waited for our menus, then had to ask someone to take our order even though people seated after us had their order taken before us. Food was good and didn’t have to wait too long, my son asked for the bill and paid at the table by card, between leaving our table and getting to the door three different members of staff asked us if we wanted to pay, so no one wanted to take our order but everyone thought we might leave without paying the bill which was about £22!

I have been here a few times during the day for coffee / cake but not for breakfast. It was VERY dissapointing. After taking about 15 mins to come to the table and take my order. I had a cappuccino that was really just a latte with a bit of foam on top in a rounded cup, smoked salmon and poached eggs on sourdough. The smoked salmon was WAY too salty (very poor quality) to a point where there was no salmon taste, just salt and the sour dough had barely been toasted (if at all). The whole thing was over salty, over squishy and completely under whelming. I have been left with a nasty acid indigestion for the rest of the day as a result of the salmon and won't be going back for breakfast any time soon!

No 33 is a superb relaxing place for brunch. Poached eggs and guacamole with sourdough toast made for a fantastic Sunday lunch, and on a separate visit, poached eggs on sourdough toast with bacon was the perfect breakfast (5 hours later I am still full).

Light and airy place with a good atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. Food fantastic and also well presented. Caters for gluten-free & vegan customers.

Love this place, luckily I went after having my tastebuds tortured at Cosmos Always busy but worth the wait

Really tasty vegan burger with chilli jam! Great salad too with olives and sundried tomatoes and coleslaw. Definitely recommend this place.

Fui por primera vez. Mucho más grande por dentro de lo que piensas desde el exterior. Muy popular, tenía unos 20 minutos de espera para sentarse, pero valió la pena. Huevo escalfado sobre tostadas de pan agrio, puré de aguacate con aceite de chile; delicioso Gran porción Ambiente agradable y una camarera muy agradable que ofrecía agua del grifo sin que se lo pidieran. Muy bien y volveremos.

Vine aquí con mi amigo el fin de semana, muy ocupado y tuve que esperar unos 20 minutos en la hora pico, pero valió la pena la espera. Mi amiga tenía una bebida helada y fruta y panqueques que realmente disfrutó y tuve un desayuno vegetariano preparado que era muy sabroso y muy abundante. También hay muchos pasteles para elegir, todos se ven deliciosos y puedes llevar para llevar. El lugar es lindo y tiene un precio razonable, y el personal fue muy amable y servicial. Un pequeño y encantador lugar.

We go there a lot its always consistent and the cakes are lovely. Good value for money. Service is always pleasant.

We wanted a change from a chain restaurant and it was worth it. Delicious breakfast and coffee with friendly and efficient service.

So good. Fresh and vibrant, whether coffee and cake or brunch always banging great atmosphere aswell. We love it here
