I've been here many times for drinks but not food. It's a pub of mixed ages (more older than young) that has live music on the weekend and a pretty good atmosphere. Drinks aren't the cheapest in town but reasonably priced in comparison.

Went out about a month ago for my birthday , was me,my friend and my boyfriend, was my first time here and me and my friend had had 1 drink before this,my boyfriend had just met us and was completely sober,we got a vodka lemonade each then my boyfriend went up to get the next round and was told "I think you've had enough" it was his second drink of the night,none of us were acting out of order ,just sitting peacefully and certainly not drunk.I work in a bar and I know when to refuse service,this was completley out of order.ive spoke to people about this and heard this happens to younger people a lot in here!!!

We only had drinks. There was a live band on who were very good. Not somewhere I would go for food as it was very lively and noisy due to the band. Would definitely go back

First ever visit and after reading other reviews of how good the food is they are not wrong. Probably the best Steak & Ale pie we have ever tasted. Sides and pudding spot on also no issues. I would deffo recommend this place and we will be back at some point for more amazing food and drink.

The mac and cheese was exceptional! The sticky toffee pudding was also very good. All round a very enjoyable experience.

First Time reviewing UK's restaurant. After a hard week of exams, we strolled around Stirling to seek eye's refreshment. We didn't realize the dark came soon, hunger follows too. Decided to get here for a wee meal. The food is average, the price is fair, but we love the vibes. Lively, exactly as needed for someone who just escaped from the school prison lol 😭🤣 We ordered Chicken Karaage, Turkey Pops, 2 Hammock Fillets and Pig Blanket. The best deal is, we paid £24.5 for 5 dishes I mentioned above. It's their meal deal, paying £24.5 for 5, £15 for 3 meals.

Il locale è sempre molto affollato, ben frequentato, ma si riesce facilmente a trovare un tavolo disponibile. Il personale è discreto e gentile. I prezzi sono nella media. La posizione al centro del borgo e nei pressi del castello lo rende un comodo punto di ristoro per turisti, ma anche per gli abitanti del posto.

Very busy, live band, friendly people and staff. Yeah, I enjoyed it. Again, no food was purchased so I cannot comment on that.

We visited on a cold day. The place was freezing! The food was decent. The small plates were tasty, but the Prawn dish at £6.95 was not good value. Everything else was decent. The calamari was the highlight!

Such a great atmosphere in this pub, its not a big place, but that makes it even better! Accoustics are great and they have live music on Sunday afternoon/evenings 4pm to 7pm. Food is always good and the staff? They are just lovely 😍, always happy to chat and they are constantly out checking and clearing the tables.

The food was delicious. Plenty of options. Good beer and friendly staff. The only problem I had was that the tables were too close together feeling a bit cramped. All in all though I really liked the place.

Haven't been to Stirling in years, went with a friend and we decided to come here for lunch as she'd been previously, we had delicious cheese toasties with a side salad and soda, really nice experience and the lady that served us was very pleasant

Had a nice dinner there with the family. We even participated in the quiz! Fun night out with the family.

Great traditional pub in the heart of Stirling. They had a great beer selection and the fish and chips were wonderful! Outside patio was great for people watching.

Popped into this cosy little pub for some food on our recent trip to Stirling as the menu looked great and reasonably priced. The service was fantastic, all our servers were so friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely outstanding, I got the buttermilk chicken katsu burger which was hands down one of the best chicken burgers I've had. My fiancée got the karaage Japanese chicken, which was delicious too. Unexpected pleasure to find incredible Asian fusion food at a pub. We had such a nice experience we decided to come back the second night of our trip. I got the steak & ale pie and my fiancée got Mac & cheese and once again the food was lovely and the service was fab. If you're in Stirling and you're looking for high quality food, drinks, service and atmosphere then definitely stop in at No. 2 Baker Street.

Service was great when you got it but the two staff on duty couldn't handle a full bar. As such, we were left for long periods without help and ultimately didn't spend as much as we were willing to on drinks. Worse, when the bartender did deliver our food it was pretty cold. We ate it nonetheless because they really were trying to do their best. However. The musician was great and the vibe was fantastic. I would totally come back and eat here.

Cena en familia durante nuestro paso por Stirling. Sitio céntrico con música en directo. Pedí la hamburguesa de pollo katsu que no tenia nada en especial , normalilla tirando a mala. El servicio fue correcto y el precio normal. Quizá haya opciones más interesantes para cenar en la ciudad. Lo considero un bar para tomar algo más que para cenar. Saludos.

Wir haben hier sehr, sehr lecker und für britische Verhältnisse günstig gegessen. Während der Hauptessenszeit mussten wir etwas länger auf das Essen warten, aber das war noch in erträglichem Rahmen. Beide Gerichte schmeckten ausgezeichnet. Für einen Pub eine gute Auswahl verschiedener Speisen.

Great experience after visiting the Stirling Castle. We ate outside enjoying the music inside. We highly recommend the fish and chips and the Steak and Ale pie. Great service and great food.

Great place to stop by for food and drinks!! They offer a large selection of meat, vegetarian and vegan options as well as a gluten free menu. The music was very much to my liking. Highly recommend

Having a drink and listening to live music .. great atmosphere

Called in to No2 today for lunch. We are frequent customers there, normally only for a drink. Firstly, we placed our order. My husband was having steak and ale pie with chips and mushy peas. I ordered a chicken and bacon sandwich on sourdough with a portion of house fries. The waitress returned to say there was a 45 minute wait. We agreed to wait as to go somewhere else it could possibly be the same wait time. Roughly 20 - 30 minutes later my husband's meal appeared but with mash and garden peas with the steak and ale pie. He said he would just have that and didn't return it he questioned where my meal was. The waitress came back to say they didn't have a note of it so would put it on right away. After another lengthy wait, by which time my husband had finished his meal, mine still hadn't appeared. I then went to question the waitress who was then behind the bar. She went to find out and came to the table to say it would be five minutes. The manager then came and apologised. There had been a mistake. My husband had got someone else's meal and mine was being prepared now along with what should have been his which would now go to the gentleman who hadn't got his original meal Not sure if there has been a change in staff but service was an absolute shambles today. Needless to say we won't eat there again.

We popped into a pub for dinner on our last night in Stirling. Our bartender came over to get our order and we noticed his MLB London Series lanyard. It turns out he was at the game with his family from the Quad Cities, all cheering on the Cardinals. He got a big smile on his face and shook our hands when we told him we were from St. Louis and cheering with him at the first game. Cardinals Nation's borders are indeed expansive! This was a great evening, good food and great service.
