Nico’s Pizzeria Restaurant in Down

Fui a buscar comida para llevar a Sunnyside Street, pero se calló. Llamó y le dijeron que se habían mudado a Lower Ormeau Road. Chicos, necesitan actualizar su sitio web. Fui al otro restaurante y pedí 2 pizzas, jamón y piña y un pepperoni. Más de 25 libras me cobraron por salir con estos. Estaba sorprendido, pero esperaba que valieran la pena. Sin embargo, honestamente puedo decir que no creas todo el bombo. Bases insípidas, masticables y duras, pizza no muy bien cocinada, pepperoni desagradablemente picante y grasiento, piña de una lata y jamón barato. Todo un poco artificial y de baja calidad. Muy decepcionado. Definitivamente no creo en todas las críticas o de lo contrario son de personas que no tienen ni idea de cómo es la comida fresca realmente buena. Esto era solo la comida chatarra sobreprocesada de gama baja y muy cara. Desperdicio de dinero, no volverá.

Nos encontramos con Nico's por casualidad cuando salimos a caminar. No teníamos reserva, y estábamos muy agradecidos a la encantadora anfitriona que nos alojó a nosotros y a nuestro bebé de 6 meses, con una mesa en lo que era un viernes por la noche ocupado. El servicio fue rápido y amable, y lo más importante, la comida era absolutamente delicioso. Nos sirvieron nuestras comidas rápidamente a pesar de un restaurante lleno y no nos sentimos apresurados. La decoración de Navidad era absolutamente hermoso.

Rara vez dejo comentarios negativos, pero mi experiencia en Nick’s Pizzeria en Belfast fue tan horrible que me sentí obligado a compartir. Fuimos allí con la esperanza de una buena cena, pero por desgracia, se convirtió en una pesadilla. Nuestro servidor fue increíblemente grosero desde el momento en que entramos, y las cosas solo empeoraron. En un momento durante nuestra comida, después de un pequeño malentendido, ella realmente amenazó con escupir en nuestra comida. Sí, lo has leído bien – dijo que iba a escupir en nuestra comida, lo que arruinó completamente nuestro apetito y toda la noche. Nos quedamos impactados y nos sentimos incómodos, por decir lo menos. El servidor era una chica adolescente pelo sucio, muy poco profesional!

Hola a quien me preocupa, el pasado viernes 19 de julio reservé una fiesta de 10 para el cumpleaños 60 de mi esposa. Quiero encomiar al personal que estuvo esa noche. Desde el momento en que llegamos hasta que dejamos el personal y la comida era excelente. Muy atento y agradable. Llegué temprano en el día para dejar un pastel, globos, etc. para la mesa. Decoraron la mesa con globos y flores, conversando conmigo sobre cuándo presentar las flores y el pastel a mi esposa, dejando que mi nieta hiciera los honores. Me gustaría que transmitiera esto Gracias a sus miembros y recomiendo encarecidamente su establecimiento. así que un agradecimiento masivo a usted y su personal 👏👏

2nd visit here, was as good as 1st time. Good atmosphere friendly staff, good service, gets busy early evening, food was very good.

We really enjoyed our evening at Nico’s and received excellent service from Anna. We shared the homemade meatballs as a starter, the best we’ve ever had, and then both made our own bespoke pizzas from the extensive list of toppings available to choose from. What an excellent idea! The pizzas are quite big and were delicious. It was a Thursday evening and the restaurant was full so I would recommend booking. We chose this restaurant as it was away from the city centre but within easy walking distance of the Holiday Inn on Hope Street. We got caught in the rain on our way there so Molly gave us an umbrella from the lost property for our walk back. Great service and a great experience all round! Good vibe and nice decor. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Had a lovely dinner with family on a very busy Saturday evening ) be sure to book)! Staff were friendly and attentive and we all found the food delicious and good size portions too! My vegetarian tagliatelle was delicious. This experience was in stark contrast to a certain Belfast city centre Italian I visited last week which was awful. Will definitely be back.

Just eaten at Nico"s this evening. It was our first time there. Lovely table although i agree with a previous comment about the music being very loud. Service was excellent while ordering drinks, starters and mains. Food was extremely good. The reason why I gave 3 and not 5 stars was that we felt rushed after our maim course. We had only been there 45 mins and knew from the email that we had an hour and a half. I was still choosing my dessert when a different younger waitress asked if we were ready to order. I clearly wasn't as I still had the menu open and was reading it I asked for another minute. She walked away from the table and returned about 20 seconds later and asked for our order so i felt presured inti making a quick decision. We had barely finished dessert, the plates and glassese were cleared too quickly. We werent offered the option for coffee and we felt rushed out the door. iwe spent over £100 so it wasnt like we were just out for a cheap night. t wasn't the calm end to a delicious meal we had hoped for.

Excellent service from start to finish. Very attentive staff. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend.

Despite all 8 of my friends enjoying their food, the service on the other hand was very unprofessional as one of my friends asked 2 separate waitresses on 2 different occasions could they turn down the music as it was very obnoxiously loud as our table was right below a large loud speaker. The music was so loud we could not hear one another from either ends of the table and one of my friends has hearing difficulties due to support from hearing aids and felt very uncomfortable and upset the music could not be adequately adjusted. On the first occasion upon being asked the waitress replied ‘I will but the manager always says no’ and on the second occasion maybe a manger or supervisor (blonde hair and glasses) rudely interrupted our tables conversation and asked did anyone call the first waitress a very vulgar word which me and my friends would never think of calling anyone a sl*t. This was completely wrong and maybe a slight misunderstanding I can understand but the manner and tone of voice of this so called manager was simply not acceptable as young paying customers and really put me and my friends off their food the entire evening. We will never be back at Nico’s following this incident as not one apology did we receive when we explained it never was said by anyone at our table. It also took us 3 times asking the waitress to receive our 2 jugs of water and waited more than 15 mins before it finally arrived only to receive one.

This was my first time here and I will definitely be returning! Awesome customer service - Anna the manager was fabulous - attention to detail was amazing - I love the way she constantly checks your glass and tops up your wine for you - just the way it should be!! Pizzas were amazing and huge!! And a fabulous selection of pastas, ciabattas and loaded fries to compliment the menu if pizza isn’t your thing. Was amazed by how busy it was mid week and mid month! Was also great to see all ages there and a few birthday celebrations too. Would definitely recommend a trip to this fabulous restaurant Cx

Staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. We got a lot of food for what we paid for, all at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!

Visited with my partner, server was fantastic, my partner thouroughly enjoyed her carbonara, whilst i got the Penne Amatriciana. Best i’ve ever had. Great food and will definetely be back next time in Ulster!

Excellent food and service. Nico’s had a lovely atmosphere and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. I really liked the menu. I’d suggest you avoid the hot sauce dip. It tastes great but it obliterates the more nuanced flavours of the pizzas.

We were here for my partner's birthday this evening. The restaurant is lovely inside, quirky and good music! The food was very nice and staff were very friendly... Would have gave it 5 star only we had a big hair in our starter platter, the plate was replaced but management didn't offer an apology or take it off the bill. Not that we are after "freebies" but it's usually common courtesy to at least acknowledge it. Other than that very nice place.

It’s meant to be a reputable Italian but the atmosphere is like a bar when they let drunk men shout and kids run about it ruins the whole expensive experience

We ordered takeaway pizzas but I had a problem with my phone which the staff went out of their way to help. They were amazing, and the pizzas were some of the best we'd tasted. Great place, lovely ambience

Family visit for Daughters 26th birthday, really great food and service, mixture of patrons, couples, family groups young and old. One recommendation I would make is turn the surround music down just a bit.
