Both naan breads were beyond burnt, chicken tikka tasted of nothing but lemon juice and was really thin, extremely poor quality for our favourite Indian, will not be using this restaurant again,

Food was late and cold. Status said out for delivery for around 25 minutes and then arrived late and cold. Shame as we usually enjoy.

Disappointing food. Very little flavour and some items seemed like they were reheated. There's much better options in banbury to be honest.

Both the saag aloo and saag paneer were pathetic tiny portions literally a spoon full of each. Absolute rip off

Mildest Madras I've ever eaten

Tried all Indians in Banbury but keep finding myself coming back to the Mogul. Everything hit the nail on the head. Food arrived hot and in plentiful quantity. The chicken tikka keema mutter paired with the garlic naan is an amazing combo and I recommend everyone to try this out. Looking forward to ordering my next takeaway 😊

Lovely curry, received just what we ordered plus some poppadoms! The delivery driver was great and arrived so early! Madras was really well spiced and saag paneer was really flavourful. Thanks!

The food tasted great, however wasn’t as hot as I’d expected; I reheated it before eating. Maybe look at ways to keep it hotter in future. Other than that, it was incredibly tasty.

Ordered it at 1700hrs and was told it would be here by 1745hrs, then it was delayed until 1815-1835hrs. It didn’t turn up until past 1900hrs. It had obviously been in the car for a while as the dips that come with the popadoms were warm and not cool. Really disappointed as I was looking forward to a curry! Just not two hours after I ordered it.

Love this Indian takeaway it's the only one in banbury I use. But just one issue tonight we ordered chicken madras, and it did taste nice, but it was a very sweet taste, not what I normally get from this Indian reference madras. But probably honest mistake with the sauce

Have had 2 previous fab takeaways from here. Just had our third which was very disappointing. Madras had no flavour or heat, makhani was tasteless, samosa and bhajee tasteless too. Not hot enough so needed heating in the oven but fidnt help flavour. Such a shame. Will not be going back. Ordering process easy and delivery quicker than stated.

I had a bad experience, nothing we ordered was good, both quality and quantity was the worst for the price.

Only one rice arrived, was on the understanding that both the Balti and masala came with rice.

Wow !! Must admit this is definitely the best tasting indian in banbury by far. When we moved to banbury, we found it difficult to find a takeaway we enjoyed, and at last, we found it. So after trying more or less every Indian takeaway in banbury, we now only ever use this one. Keep it up guys

My parents took me here in the early 80s with previous management I understand my father went here in the 70s. I was taking the mother of my children here in the 90s it's now 2023 and my kids are now enjoying a variety of meals so many decent dishes to try, very accommodating on adding ingredients into their dishes. I'm sure they would remove ingredients if required also. Never had a bad meal from here

First time ordering and won't be doing so again. The curries were swimming in oil, were not spicy at all and the food requests were ignored.

We absolutely love New mogul been coming here the last 3 years! Food is always excellent and we like to try different dishes. Staff are always very welcoming even with our 3 very young children. Highly recommended look forward to our next visit!

Very rushed service with an over bearing young man serving us we didn't even have time to look at the menu properly. The curry and starters were not very good at all nothing seemed to be spicy. Wouldn't go there again or recommend to anyone else. The mains were very dry and when one of the waiters came and asked if everything was OK I said no it is very dry and he just walked away lol.

The food is great quality and delivered quickly and correctly. Ordered several times before and no doubt will again. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone who enjoys Indian food!

Really tasty by far the best Indian takeaway found in Banbury. Portion sizes not huge but taste makes up for that. Great value quick delivery definitely recommended

It was ok enough, good onion bhajis and poppadums and nice flavour in curry. Just a couple of things could have been better. We got a lamb dish and chicken, the flavour was good but lamb a bit over cooked.

This is my fourth time ordering here and each time the food has been brilliant. Great portion sizes, not too greasy and arrives as delicious via delivery as it tastes in the restaurant! Our regular local Indian now.

Thought I’d try somewhere new for a change, wish I hadn’t now

First time ordering from here, but I’m massively disappointed. The French fries were cold, wet and undercooked. The tikka masala was nice, but only had 5 small bits of chicken in. The container was half empty, but you could tell it was previously full due to the sides of the dish being covered in sauce. The popadoms were stale and chewy. Definitely not worth the money, won’t be ordering again. Choose somewhere else.
