The service and friendliness of the staff and owner are great at this place, you are always made so welcome. The knowledge of the dishes and how they can modify them to suit your taste, (I don't like chillies)is fantastic. Really worth a visit and the bar prices aren't too bad either, (so my Hubby says)

Visited with friends and had a lovely meal, service can be a little slow but the food was well worth the wait, the honey chilli chicken is the best in town.

Called in 29.12.2017 seated right away menus given right away and would we like a drink ordered our food and was at the table within 10-15 minutes Everybody's meal was excellent and good value for money. Would ask the next time to ensure our plates were hot that is my only criticism.

Had a beautiful meal here and have been going for many years. Unfortunately the owners seemed to be having a massive bust up in the kitchen. Not pleasant to listen to when you are trying to njoy the meal. We will go back but not in the immediate future .

Este es sin duda la mejor calidad y la más sabrosa comida china en Portadown. Es un poco más caro que la mayoría de los otros sitios, pero la calidad es realmente vale la pena. Usted puede tener que esperar un poco más para una orden para llevar debido a la popularidad, pero merece la pena la espera. Altamente recomendado.

Restaurant is very dated & no work carried out in at least 20 yrs. I've been going to this restaurant/take away this length of time. Good menu & food is always beautiful

Food quality has dropped over the years and it feels worse when they over fill your plates with bad food, Place is empty any wonder why, and completely overpriced .

Great food, nice staff and large portions.. only down fall was that the place is cold that cold were my husband had to put his coat back on.. but as I said the food is beautiful especially the salted chilli chicken

Hemos comido aquí por un largo tiempo y nunca tuvimos una mala comida. Es cierto, la decoración necesita una puesta al día y el nivel de servicio depende de quién está trabajando y si ha habido un argumento pero este es mi favorito chino y comparar todas las demás comida china.

En la apertura de la puerta nos encontramos con una ráfaga de aire caliente, justo lo que necesitábamos en julio. Nos enseñaron sobre una alfombra pegajosa a la mesa por un camarero agradable donde estalló de inmediato a sudar; no me sorprende ya que estábamos sentados justo al lado de un antiguo (calentador a gas Superser) que era de transmisión aún más calor. Pedí un té chino, pero se informó que no tenían ninguna como nunca nadie había pedido. El camarero me trajo una taza de agua caliente y una bolsita para mí Typhoo propia funden y él tomó nuestra orden, que llegó muy rápidamente. De mi amigo Chow Mein fue colocado en el frente de su servidor en un plato refractario locamente de hierro fundido. Ella pidió el Chow Mein, colocar en un plato, ya que la placa de hierro fundido estaba demasiado caliente para comer, así que la señora (dueño?) vino a nuestra mesa y procedió a arrastrar el Chow Mein en un plato mientras el resto de nosotros estábamos comiendo - un negocio desordenados arrastrando los fideos. Por desgracia la placa caliente había quemado los fideos suave para secar y negros incomible twigs el camarero fue llamado de nuevo. Dijo que eran fideos crujientes y muy popular, pero estuvo de acuerdo en retirar los fideos quemada de la placa (vinieron en una manojo) y sustituir con fideos suaves, finalmente mi amigo podía comer mientras mirábamos - habíamos terminado en esta etapa. Cuando decidimos irnos y pagando la señora (dueño?) no pude encontrar la factura. Ella busqué alrededor por un tiempo y escribió una nueva ley, que estaba bien hasta la calculadora salió cuatro veces añadió las cosas para venir a una cantidad cada vez. Finalmente después de mirar esto para un buen 5 minutos añadimos la cantidad nosotros del menú. Para 4 platos principales, una porción de champiñones y una bolsita de £1,70 pagamos £52. La comida era buena y los tamaños de porción finalmente son buenas, pero la próxima vez que vaya a otro sitio.

Lovely food with good amounts of it seating is in booths but they can also accommodate a large group of people they also do take out as well as sit in friendly staff that do their best to help your needs

We stopped at the Manderin for vegetable pad thai right before it closed for the night. The service was fast and the staff friendly. The price was decent and the meal delicious.

really enjoyed my meal here at the weekend. I went for the beef satay with chips was way too much. great value for a sit in Chinese. staff were friendly and attentive.

Will call in here a few times a year when we fancy a sit in Chinese. Normally opt to share the mixed rib starter for two, it's lovely. I'd happily eat it as a main on my own. I'd say their specialty is their sizzling dishes. However, unfortunately the nature of the sizzling dish, I find leaves steaks overdone.

My husband and I love this restaurant, it is decorated traditionally with Chinese wall murals, lanterns and booths, unlike other restaurants which all look the same and have no character. There is usually soft 60's ballads playing in the background which is very relaxing. The food is excellent, I have never had a bad meal from here. My personal favourite is the peking ribs to start, all meat, no bones and the peking sauce is delicious, which we share. The salt and chilli chicken is amazing, the best ive tasted out of many Chinese restaurants or takeaways. The lady who owns and runs the place is very hard working and pleasant and always makes us feel very welcome. give it a go, you will not be disappointed.

We ordered two chicken curries with boiled rice but the amount of curry sauce was so small that we could hardly taste it. Totally ruined our meal and we will never be back. Waited an absolute age for the food to arrive as well!

Went for a meal. Food tasted wonderful. Service was fast and efficient. Staff were all very helpful. Cleanliness was of a good standard. Pricing was reasonable. Timothy catered for us. Was a nice young fella.

In my opinion this Chinese Restaurant serves the best food in town and I can't wait for my next visit to try another new dish!

An old haunt of ours and its a great restaurant. Just a little difference to a Chinese restaurant if uv tried them all. Friendly and great food.

Grabbed mid week lunch from here, ordered a sliced chicken supper with 1/2 chips 1/2 fried rice. It cost £6 and was worth every penny! A massive full chicken fillet in the takeaway box! Was lovely! Chips could be better. there is no customer service but I didn't really care as I was taking it away. Worth a visit. Don't think I'd go for a sit in meal tho. Place is very dated and a really rubbish atmosphere.

The food in this restaurant is fab but the decor is dated and it's very cold in the winter I would definatley say the cuisine is the best around but as the place hasn't been decorated in years it feel very 70s and not in any good way the staff are helpful and friendly never rushing you but if when you sit down they have to wheel over an old gas heater to keep you warm then it really spoils the whole thing I spend my whole time just thinking of what a little imagination could do to this otherwise excellent restaurant

Family and I have visited here a number of times last year and the experience hasn't been great, food is ok when it arrives but the staff aren't very pleasant. Food is literally thrown down at you. The menu is reasonable enough. Not sure if we would call again.

The food in the is place isn't as good as it used to be. It used to have a very wallet friendly menu, but not anymore. Not sure if we will be back.

- the service is top-notch, the waitors are very friendly and attentive- i go on a regular basis and never had a bad meal!!
